First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at advocatesla dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Jackson is on the phone today for a first day
follow up and he's getting ghosted from a date he
went on with a woman named Amanda. So in a
few minutes we'll call her see if she'll tell us
why she's ghosting him and maybe get him another date.
But first, Jackson, how long has it been since you
heard from Amanda? It's a few like long enough to
know you're getting ghosted? Days? Or is this like that
you added the date last night.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
No, like, you know, it's been three days, maybe three
and a half.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Okay, what makes you feel like you're being ghosted?

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Well, I mean we went on on this great date, right,
We were to the same place that we both wanted
to go and wanted to try. And I mean it
was really.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Nice and you know, we had.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Three courses wine usert. It felt really awesome. You know,
it was really romantic, easy. Amanda is beautiful and she
eat all the food. It was so cute, you know,
and I mean it is it would be to start
of something great, but she hadn't.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
You know, I mean, I've written her, you know, I
walked through her car.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
I wrote her afterwards and said, you know, you know,
I hear from her, and I thought she would write
me back, and she never wrote me back.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And I kind of want to know, what a problem?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
So you said what to her? I'm sorry, I hope
to hear from you.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, I said, you know, it was a great date,
and I hope you know, you know, I hope to
hear from you. When we left the date, and then
when I texted her, I said, it was a great
night last night, and she didn't respond.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Well, why why do you think she's ghosting you?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Well, I mean I was fifteen minutes lady. I mean
I had to take my dog out, and I was
apologetic about, you know, like I kind of mismanaged.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
My time, and she teased me about it a little bit,
and I thought it was a joke.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
But I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Maybe, you know, first impressions are tough, you know, I
don't know. Maybe she seemed like she understood and got
over it, but maybe she didn't.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
So when you arrived, was she kind of cold shoulder
like at that point? Was she cool with you? You know,
somebodysels up you know, you're kind of mad or annoyed,
I should say, but that's valid and it's the first time.
So then was she like, so anyways, tell me what
sign you are or was she more like can we
just order?

Speaker 5 (02:13):
She made she made a couple of jabs and uh,
but she didn't you know, Oh she got over quick.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Okay, I sound like she got over quick.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I feel like that's fair. Yeah, how the rest of
the day go.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Firstonally, you know, we had we had we had three courses,
you know, wine, dessert, and and we we discussed.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
You know, at the food and we discussed like.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
You know, travel and we liked to be both like
to travel.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
We both like this, you know, like like wanted to
go to Italy.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
And you know, I mean it was like it was
pretty good, Like we had a really good conversation.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
It was a long night. I mean, I thought it
was really good.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
So you felt like she was engaging with you and
asking you questions and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Absolutely, I didn't. I walked into a car at the end.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
So I feel like, you know, it wasn't like she
wasn't put off, It wasn't awkward.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Did you put her lips on your lips at the end?

Speaker 6 (03:00):
What do you say like, because if he did it
the way Jubil said, then that would absolutely be why
he's getting posted him.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
So no kiss, did you guys hug at least?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Or yeah, we got like a half hug.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
That's not a good sign. I'm not gonna lie. Every
time I've half hugged a guy it kind of resulted.
I mean they were talking to him.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Again in a rush, or you're like on your way somewhere.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I feel like it was a good ending even though
it was a half hug. It sounds good.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Okay, But now she hasn't talked to you in a
few days, and you want to know why you're getting ghosted.
So play a song come Back, and then we'll call
her see if she tells why she's ghosting you and
maybe give you another date.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Okay, excellent, thank you so much.

by Amanda. So we're about to call her and see
if she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe

remind us about your situation?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Well, I met Amanda and we went out on a
great day, and you have to thinking about it and talk.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
To you guys.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
I feel like we had a really good time and
I really don't know why she's not getting back to me.
After a few days, I wrote her and she's didn't
texting back at all, and I feel, you know, like
she should have. It was definitely a good time.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
What was the last thing you said to her own text?

Speaker 5 (04:30):
I said to her, you know, I had a really
good time last night.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
And I thought, you know, she would have gotten back
to me.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Hmm, Okay, Well you're ready for us to call her
and see if we still tell us why she's ghosting you?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Absolutely, here we go.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Well, I'm asking to Amanda, please, this is she who's
calling him. My name is Jewbell and this is a
radio show. It's called the Jebel Show.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yes, the show is here. My name is Nina. Hi,
I'm Sory Hi.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Hi Hey hi, Oh you know the show?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (05:11):
Yeah, so great.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm actually calling today because you went out on a
date with somebody and now you're ghosting them, Okay, I
might need more info. Well, you know, we do the
first eight follow up on the show where if you
go out on a date with somebody you ghost them,
they can email us to get you on the phone
and ask why we got an email about you from

(05:35):
a guy named Jackson.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Ah, okay, I love that. We're laughing at Was that
a good date for you?

Speaker 7 (05:46):
He doesn't know why. I guess no, he does not
that crazy that he has no idea why.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Okay, so it should be obvious.

Speaker 7 (05:59):
Yeah, I would say like, okay, this is this is nuts. Okay. Yeah,
so well, let me let me preface. The restaurant was
fantastic and the food is fantastic, and that was good.
The company was not good.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
He seemed to have a different perspective on it.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
That's weird because he spent the entire night just hitting
on the server. So I have no idea why he
would be confused.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
He was hitting on the server obviously.

Speaker 8 (06:31):
Oh like huge, Like like I checked out five minutes
in and I was like.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
I'm good. The food's good, and I just focused on
my food and getting you know, a good meal out
of it, and that was it. But I checked out five.

Speaker 8 (06:44):
Minutes in because instantly he was like, oh, you're so gorgeous,
and like he's like, oh, your hair's so pretty and like.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
Oh my gosh, I love the color of your nails and.

Speaker 8 (06:55):
Like like yeah, like no joke, Like he was making
jokes about like her what came.

Speaker 7 (07:02):
And he was like, oh, you want to buye to this,
and like I can set you oh yeah, Like he
commented on her legs at one point, like it was
it was sick.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
That is a little bit awkward and a huge red flag.

Speaker 7 (07:16):
But yeah, uh yeah, tell me about it.

Speaker 8 (07:18):
Like the fact that he doesn't know what's going on,
it just blows my mind.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
That's just kind of fun.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I mean that's blatant.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
Yeah, Like I mean in front of me, he was
just like he was like instantly she walks up and
he's like he's like, oh, hey, you're gorgeous. And then
he just like every time she came to the table,
there was something else, Like he talked about you was
just like oh this is irt like it's at as
sweet as you are and blah blah blah. Yeah, that's

(07:47):
like you're on a date with someone else.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Did he say that stuff to you too?

Speaker 6 (07:50):
Was it just like how he communicates with women or
was it her specifically?

Speaker 8 (07:54):
No, Like there wasn't even like a you look nice
like there was like that. It was all on the
wait triss.

Speaker 7 (08:00):
I was.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I was flabbergaccid, like okay, well, thank you for telling us. Also,
I don't know if you forgot, but Jackson is on
the phone listening and wants to talk to you or
maybe find out the waitresses isn't at the same time.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
But oh man, like what is that about?

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Like, I no way, it wasn't that like you made
it sound like I was really elaborate like I've always
you know, just talked to you know, you know, to
your service, you know, awesome and give them great compliments
because they can do bigger servings and better poores.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And I mean, you know, better treat me all around.
It's like a win win, And that's what I was doing.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
And I I just I don't think that was like,
you know, like into the into the waitress so much.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Like that's teaching you.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
You're pleasing, thank you sir, not like give me your legs.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Well she had.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
What so you were hitting on.

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Her if she hadn't had nice legs, then you wouldn't.

Speaker 8 (08:58):
Take amplement of them, because I feel like you should
compliment her legs no matter what her legs look like.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
If that's just strategy you're going for, Oh.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
She had nice legs, But I wasn't.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
I mean, it was it was just something to hit like,
you know, to say ten or it wasn't like I
was hitting on her.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
If no matter what, if you say to a woman
you have nice legs, that comes across.

Speaker 8 (09:16):
As hitting on yeah, for real, Like I mean, because
you're complimenting like her looks all the time. You could
have like if you were doing that, you could have
said like, oh, you're so nice and thank you and
you're so helpful and like, you know, you could have
said like.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
I like your nails, not like oh, your nails are
so beautiful and I love that collar, like you know
what I mean. Like you could have just been like, oh,
where'd you get them done? Or something? But no, like
you're hitting on her because you're talking about her looks
to her every time she came to the table. Like
that's not like that's not getting extra stuff out of it.
That's not what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Wow, I didn't really realize you were the tellus type,
like I'm.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
Like, I'm just not into rude people. And let me
remind you that you're the one that like wanted me
so bad that you're willing to go on the radio
and do this.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Okay, it's all good because I was really so good
to that kind of I got her number, and you.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Know, so if you got the number, have you tried
the number?

Speaker 7 (10:19):
Because I got a fake.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Amanda, You're impossible.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Well, I would love to ask, Amanda, would you like
to go on another date with Jackson. We'll pay for it.

Speaker 7 (10:29):
There is never a chance in this world that I
would ever do that.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah. Absolutely, Okay, so your lost Amanda.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
Oh no, I guess I'm just gonna have to take
the l on that one. You Wile's first date fallow up.
