Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the I'm Still Fun Podcast. I'm fallin Hi,
and I'm Jenny. First of all, I started my period
yesterday and I'm so mad about it because that means
I will one hundred percent start my period in Hawaii, Okay, because.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
We're what four weeks out from Hawaii.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah, I mean I'm there like beginning of apron and
so yeah, there's like no way I won't be on it.
And the worst part is I don't even like, I
don't want to be in a bathing suit.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
On it, blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
But I'm more so don't want to sit on an
airplane for it's a very long flight.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah it is. I mean everyone's periods are different. But
you know this, I got my period right before we
left for Thailand, so I also was in that weird situation.
And luckily I had packed, like mine just comes out
of nowhere. It's always a surprise for me. So luckily
I had packed a few it didn't bother me on
the airplane. But let me tell you, in Thailand, they
(00:57):
don't offer tampons in many areas like paths there. Yeah,
until you find a pharmacy. That's where you can find Tampa.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I just don't want to like some you know, sometimes
you'll put a tamp on it and it just feels
like weird. It's like in there wrong. That's what's gonna
happen to me before I get on an airplane and
you just feel like I already feel like sweaty and
gross in my crotch and butt regions and everything. Like
sitting on an airplane that long, nothing feels fresh. Add
that in the mix sick. I don't want it. I
(01:25):
don't have to change clothes halfway through. Well, I feel
like I always bring a spare pair of underwear no
matter what. I don't do that on an airplane. Oh
you never know what could happen.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I am not going to be in a bad situation
where I don't have a spare pair of underwear.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Happened shit yourself. I can honestly say I've never shpit myself.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Jinny. I ever not like you've not shirded.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I don't think so. Honestly, I don't believe you. Really
it seems abnormal because I do have that vibe. Unless
there's one time I'm forgetting that I've blocked out of
my memory.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
It's definitely not like one of those I can pull up.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
No. Wow, I know, I got a hashtag blessed.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
I just like I give I give off very gross spots,
and I.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
It does seem like something someone like me would do,
but I don't think I ever have.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, I mean, it's no a lie that I do.
I feel like you didn't let me die. I just
this past weekend was one of those weekends where I
went back to Wisconsin, and you know, I packed like
seven pairs of underwear and I actually went through all
of them because.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Because you're sharp and left and.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Right that cheese, no, but because I drove and I
felt like kind of gross driving. So then I changed
into a new outfit to for like this concert we
were going to. Then the next day I think I
had like worked out, and then I changed underwear again,
and then I went to a rollerway ring. Probably didn't
change whatever. I got through all of the underwear. Yeah,
(02:52):
maybe I didn't have seven pairs. I think I had
five for two days. But I did get through like
all of them because I just like a fresh, clean pair.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Me too, I used to like, I feel like for
some reason, we're made to feel like that means you
have a disgusting.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Kouchi no, and I don't.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
I just think we need to normalize that sometimes she's off,
she's a little off. I don't know if it's a
pH I don't know, if it's the travel, if you're
extra sweaty that day, I don't know, if it's like
whatever cycle you're in. It's just that is why we
make the joke that you pack one hundred pairs of
underwear for a five day trip, because I do like
(03:30):
especially if it's a trip where like I'm walking a lot,
like a sightseeing trip. When I come home for my
midday siesta, I lot of have my power wash my
body down and new fresh indies on immediately.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Of course.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Well, I'm sorry that you're gonna probably have your period
for home too.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
I'm not pleased about I'm not pleased with it. And
I also have been having the most difficult time finding
a bathing suit. I do not know why. Well, I
know why. The low cut bikini bottoms are back in. Yeah,
oh yeah, I hate it because I'm never going to
do that, especially since having a kid. I'm never going
to wear those again. No matter how much weight I lose,
that area is never going to look good again. And
(04:11):
I don't even know that I really want a bikini anyway.
I would do one if it's like where it just
shows a tiny bit of your stomach, because who cares.
But I am having a hard time just finding bathing
suits in general.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
I like I ordered.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
One from Like. I bought one at Old Navy and
like it. Have a bikini that I only mildly like.
From Airy, I ordered one. Yeah, I was going to
suggest was airy. They don't have a big selection, but
I notices most of these places they have like mostly solids,
and they don't have a lot of selections. And for
some reason, I try on a bunch of bathings.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
It's target. The length was off.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I don't think I have a very super long torso,
but everything felt tight on the straps, like it was
my body was too long.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
It was big hoots, what are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
I don't usually have that big of a problem if
I put on like a large bathing suit.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
So long story longer. I ordered one online yesterday. It's
white with flowers on it. And now I'm like cool,
I get my pair and I ordered a white bathing suit.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Sick, you're gonna be fine, you'll figure it out.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Kill me, Jenny.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
It takes like gallons of blood for sharks to sense
something like that. I don't think one little drop from
your kouchie is going to bring a shark in.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Okay, save this audio. I want everyone to play this.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
If I died, Jenny owes my family ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
That is not even what I just said. I feel
like you just jumped to something that doesn't make sense.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
If I died to a shark attack, Jenny has to
pay my family ten dollars.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
No, absolutely not. But I will be there to be
supportive of Frank because he'll miss you.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Rank. Yeah, bitch doesn't give a shit about my existence.
What do you mean when Jake was gone, Frank saw
some dark.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Sides of me?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Because why because.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I don't because I was in soul control. You know
how like if you have a animal or a kid,
it really is like when one person's about to snap,
the other person steps in, yes to like be like, hey,
why don't you go take a breather my guy, and
I'll handle the kid or the animal. There was none
of that, because Jake also loses his patience.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, that wasn't a thing.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
So he got to hear a lot of screaming and now,
and I think I traumatized him because.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
He would just do little.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
He'd go out it was a muddy week, he'd try
run back in with muddy everything. And I'm like, aha,
it was a very muddy week the last week. And
I also had a dog, and I my like cleanliness
anxiety was through the roof because there was nothing you
could do about it. Like as much as you'd wipe
paws off, there was just nothing.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
And they're on.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
The furniture or your furniture is staying. Now it's like, oh, my.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
My favorite staining remover. And as a dog sitter, you
should get it as Folex. I would run on Amazon
fol e x and it really does to get rid
of a lot of stains.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
It's great.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Check that out. So this past weekend, when I was
back home in Wisconsin, my younger sister Katie was telling
us how she's been kind of like dating and stuff
and she got catfish. So of course we're like, well
we got to look at this person, you know whatever.
We're like, well, what did he look like? She's like, well,
he looked like a model on the app but in
person he didn't look like that. So we look at
(07:21):
this picture of him on the app, and yes, he's
got like this long, luscious hair, very like Jason Momoa,
maybe not as long, but kind of like that. And
he looks like he's built and stuff. And then I'm like, hey, well,
let's find him on social media. And she's like, well,
I don't know his last name, but we knew like
one other detail about him. So Rachel, my older sister,
(07:41):
immediately finds him. You know, just call us detectives, not me.
I'm not that good at it.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
She didn't look U up on social media before meeting him, no,
because oh my god, I know coming on.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
She says that she likes to go into these things
like blind and not expecting. So we look him up,
and to be fair, yes, that was a picture of
him on his profile, but it almost looks like it
was like AI generated from like a picture of him
in real life, So it was made to have him
look like he had better like cheekbones maybe is what
(08:13):
it was, and just a little bit more flawless on
in the face. Yeah, And but I was like, Okay,
he's not like that much of a catfish, right, But
to be fair, of the pictures we were seeing, like
we never got a really good photo. But this is
like the first time I feel like I've had anyone
close to me get quote unquote catfish. Yeah, where they
really didn't look like their photos at all. And I
(08:35):
don't know, she said that wasn't the only reason they
didn't click. They didn't have different interests. She said he
was a little unique like whatever, because I was like,
I don't know, he looks kind of decent on these
Facebook pictures, right, but he did look different than what
that picture on his profile.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
That's a bummer.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I mean, I wouldn't do that ever, just because I
wouldn't ever want to be called a catfish. Like I
wouldn't even use back in the day when like you know,
so filters now, isn't it crazy how now when you
use filters it shows that you're.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
An older woman.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Oh what do you mean, Like when you use like
the kind of like what I would call snapchat filters.
I feel like that's something mostly older women do, like
in their profile pictures where it's like so obvious, like
it's the old snapchat vibes. And I feel bad saying
that if you do that and you're young, but it's
(09:28):
like a very dead giveaway that you're and I shouldn't
even say older now because I would probably fit into
that age group too. But but like I mean, I
know younger people use them on TikTok, but it's way
more subtle or it's like it's you know what I'm
talking about that different in the snapchat filter that we're
(09:49):
all thinking of.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yes, very much, I know exactly what you're talking about, Yes,
of course. But it's also like I'm guilty of using
the Paris filter hell a lot. Like I just I
will never come into work with a full face of makeup,
and I do not have great skin. A lot of
times I'll break out and stuff. So the Paris one,
it's like a quick swipeover and I'm like, cool, I
don't look as bad I makeup on today.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
I won't use. I don't use any filter at all
on my personal stuff. I will use only Paris if
it is a client video. And the only reason I
do that is because you have to collab with them,
and if they're sharing it on their socials and it's
someone that follows them their first experience with me, I
(10:35):
don't want to look rough. Yeah, but I made it
a rule a very long time ago on like my
personal one, to not use filters.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Yeah. I mean, I feel like you don't need any
filters because you have like saul skin, and I'm always
so jealous of your skin. I really is very flawless
as well. I just have very like I was born
with red hair and so I have very fair skin.
And I just the childhood photo you posted it yourself
for the weekend. Yeah, never have you looked fairer Oh,
(11:06):
trust me, And you should see some of the other
one I have pictures of because I took a picture
of a bunch of these pictures because my mom and
I were reminiscing over these old photo albums. Oh, I
was like, I am so I have always been pale,
but like I just was a ghost as a chi
literally look like I'm telling you child ghost.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
It doesn't help that you had like no eyebrow color
either at that time.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
But it's so funny the one you posted.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Of your older sister Rachel, she literally looks like your
mother as like an eight year old. It like she
looks like an adult woman with child's body. She looks
so much like your mom. And then you look like
no one.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Oh, I look like no one. I don't. It makes
no sense. I look nothing like either of my parents.
I don't really look like Rachel. My older sister, Katie
wasn't born yet in a lot of those pictures that
we were looking at this weekend. But I was laughing
because I have never seen I do not remember my
dad being young for some reason, I like just I
(12:04):
feel like I've seen some pictures of my mom from
when she was young, but I don't remember my dad
ever looking as young as he looked in those photos.
So I was like, Okay, my dad was like decent
looking back.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
In the day.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I don't remember the picture now to to comment that
picture probably doesn't like show much.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
But there were other pictures I saw, so that was
like kind of weird to see him that young, and
he would have been in his thirties, so like where
I'm at right now, you know. And he had these
really short shorts on in some of the pictures because
that was the style back then, and I was like,
no way, So that was funny. But then also the
album we looked at was from the first trip to
Disney we ever took, so my younger sister wasn't born yet.
(12:44):
Rachel and I were like four and five or something,
and it was just like still the stereotype of my
dad and me and Rachel were in all the pictures
and my mom was barely in anything. Yeah, And I
was like, oh, like, I hate that. If you are
a male and you have a female partner and you
guys have kids, make sure that you are also taking
(13:05):
pictures of your female partner with the kids.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Jake is great. The worst part of my.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Existence is he does videos or there'll be live photos
and you literally see me scowling on the couch be
like now, I like terrible and like half of them
that he tries to I'm like, God, if you ever
look back one day when I rip, they'll be like, wow, falling.
Just what a pleasant peach, always in the same spot
on the couch like now. But I did tell you
(13:31):
I have been way more energetic since mouth taping. I'm
not a medical professional, ya, but I don't know what
it like today. I would probably have already hit my moment.
I kind of feeling more tired because I like went
and did seven am pilates today and then Jason Showan
then here, But I have just had so much more energy.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
And it's crazy because you've always.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Had bad sleep.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Yeah, I never felt like I did, but I think
I was sleeping horribly both of them. My parents have
sleep apnea, so I wouldn't be surprised to learn because
I snore a lot. I wouldn't be surprised to learn
if I would have it or have had it. But
I just started mouth taping. Again, not a medical professional,
talk to your doctor, but I go, I put it on,
(14:17):
and I am out.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Now.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I do know before I would wake up in the
middle of the night to go pee, and or I
would wake up in the middle of the night like
if there was like some kind of movement or something,
or I would kind of like switch positions. If I'm
switching positions, I have no idea. It is like lights
out until I wake up in the morning and I'm
pee in the middle of the night anything, it's very
(14:39):
don't no, I'm not getting up to pee.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
If like the dogs are crazy.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
And they jump on me or something and I wake
up and I have to pee, then yes, but I'm
not waking up to p and then I get up,
take my disgusting tape off, and I like before, even
like when I would first wake up, I'd be like,
oh God, not yet, like, and I would want to
go land the couch and I would cuddle all of
which is kind of a bummer because I still couldn't
do that, I guess, but I just didn't want to
(15:06):
get up yet. So I'm like, oh, have come cuddle me,
And it was like my favorite part of the morning.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
We'd cuddle. Just don't I'm just like up, I'm ready.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yeah. That is so interesting because Fawl knows this that,
like there is a super big difference between me getting
like a solid night's sleep and pretty much ninety nine
percent of the other nights of sleep are really bad.
And I can tell the moment I'm like coming into
the show, I have a different energy. Everything about me
is different. So you were texting me last week about
(15:34):
the mouth tip and I'm like, man, I have had
like TikTok shop just targeting me with that shit for
weeks now, and I've been considering doing it, not buying
that stuff, probably buying the stuff that you get. Yeah,
And I feel like I really got to try it
too to see if it helps me.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
It was weird the first couple of because everyone's like,
I think, I feel like I would like Colt made
a joke that he would like suffocate and Di. I'm like, well,
your body is designed to wake you up. If you
aren't breathing, your nose is not block. I see the
ones that have like a little mouth hole. It is
funny because I mean, you really can't talk at all.
So I'm yelling at Jake about something. Yeah, a couple
(16:09):
of times I told Jake I woke up and my
cheeks were full of air almost like I like was
trying to breathe out of my mouth and I couldn't, Okay,
but it woke me up a little bit, and I
was like, and I just like took the air on
my cheeks. But He's like, but Jake said, I'm not
snoring anymore.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Does Jake do you have mouth tape?
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Not anymore?
Speaker 1 (16:29):
He did, it did right. He's the one that started
so years and years ago. My trainer Jerome started talking
about it and I was like, you're a sociopath. What
a psycho? What other BDSM shit are you into? You know,
all this stuff, just giving them crap. Because Jerome and
a lot of trainers and health people they try all
this stuff, and I'm like, absolutely not.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
The reason I tried it had nothing to do with
my sleep. It literally was because people said that a
side effect can be it can give you like a
better defined jawline.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Oh yeah, there's no I know scientific.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Proof to that, by the way, but I was like,
I hate my jawline, so I'm gonna try it. Who cares?
And I can see why by default it would help,
because if I'm normally sleeping with my mouth gaping open,
I'm like, uh, I don't.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Job with my neck and throat.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
If it's forcing my mouth to stay shut, I could
see why it could help. I've been doing it for
like two and a half weeks now, uh huh.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
But yeah, I think it's like and.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
I use tape like three m kind of hospital style
tape so it doesn't rip your face off.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
But they have the one shaped like lips.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
They have the ones that has like the little hole
in the middle so you could like breathe out of
your mouth or talk if you need two things like that.
I'm just cheap, so I have about the cheapest option.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah, I mean, obviously that's what I would do too.
I know what I feel like, yeah, I gotta try
it too. I think I've gotten I don't know if
it's like the season changing a little bit, but I
feel like the last couple of weeks I've been a
little bit better with my sleep. But anything to help me,
I'll give it a try, because yeah, it's just it's exhausting.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Funny weather in general, and like the getting it being
lighter later is also just helping my overall attitude, mental health,
all of it. Because leaving work when it's dark out,
just like how in the morning when you would come
into work and it was so dark, it's a bump.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
It's a real bummer, you know. So it's really nice
to still.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Have some sun like I get to see when I
would I try, like, you know, I'm trying to like
because I don't love doing like the hours of the
afternoon show. When I drive home and I get to
see like the most beautiful sunsets, I'm like, Okay, let's
focus on some positive. These sunsets are stunning that I
get to see on the way home now, So yeah, nice, Yeah,
did you.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Do anything exciting this weekend? I haven't. I haven't seen
you in a week.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Out with some Iheartgirls on Friday, which was fun. I
did pull tabs for the first time. I don't like
gambling my money, but.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
I've never done pull tabs.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
No, it's everyone's like a little like surprised. But that
if I have it wasn't me paying for it. So
maybe someone had them at a table and I pulled
one once. I have never, as far as I know,
pitched in my own money.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yeah, I don't ever do that either. I just I mean,
I play them with other people's money.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
They did a thing where everyone had to pitch in
twenty and they made it a drinking game. I pulled
one hundred and twenty six dollars on like my first
like cup, like my stack, and then you know, you
pitch all the money back in they so basically you
just keep going till you lose all your money, I
guess is how it worked. Came so I was like,
I'd never like gambling my money away. Twenty dollars, fine,
but that's it. And then Disney on Ice took all
(19:34):
of to a ballet yesterday.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
That's it. Yeah nice? Yeah what about you?
Speaker 3 (19:38):
You went home?
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Yeah? I was back in Wisconsin. I will not lie
that I was really kind of like dreading a Friday,
even though I shouldn't have. I should have been looking
forward to it because we bought my mom tickets to
go see Rascal Flats in Green Bay, so I had
to work, drive right away after work back to Fondolac,
then meet up with the fam, go to dinner and
go up to Green Bay then and then come home
(20:01):
and get home at like one in the morning, you know,
just constant go, go go. And at dinner, I had
like two drinks and we still had a half hour
drive to the venue, and I'm like in there feeling
like sleepy, drunk, like weird. I don't even know, like
am I even gonna make it to this concert? But
then I got like a second win once I actually
like went outside and got into this dead actual place.
(20:23):
But so that ended up being kind of a long day,
but it was super fun. I just feel like any
kind of exciting event like that kind of throws me
off for the weekend then, because I'm just so tired
the rest of the weekend and I just I'm just
can't bounce back like I used to. So I feel
like I wasn't very productive. I mean, I still hung
(20:45):
out with my family, all weekend, but I don't We
didn't do a whole ton, Like we went to a
roller rink, but all we did was sit around on
the table while some of the kids were like skating
and stuff, you know. But yeah, so it was a
fun time back home. I haven't done that drive by
myself though in a while. Andrews come with me, like
pretty much every single time I've gone home in the
last couple of years, So that drive is just like
(21:06):
not fun for me. It's it's And I was thinking
about it because I did like a nine hour drive
up to the up by myself in the van, and
I felt like that one by fast, but it was
because it was just different scenery, different cities I was
driving through. I just I've done this route back to
Wisconsin so many times that I'm just like, ugh, it's
like driving back to your home after work now to me, Yeah,
(21:28):
add on like four and a half hours.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah. When I used when I was in college, my
road trip home was two hours to go back home
and that one would pretty much fly by. So yeah,
to do that four and a half not not it.
Not a big fan of that. The rare occasions like
once a year we have to go to Chicago or
something for something like we'll have to go to Chicago
in June, and I don't know if it'll be we're
(21:51):
going to drive. I assume we will. I don't know
why we would fly for Jake's cousin's wedding. I'm like,
it goes by fast, yeah, But if I id do
it regularly, I'd be like, oh, this is a nightmare.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
I would hate it.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
I know all the people that drive for work, Like
I mean, Andrew drives all the time since he's a
real estate agent. But my sister drives a lot too.
She has to go to Chicago pretty often for work,
and it's like a two two and a half hour
drive from our hometown. But she's driving all the time.
And I just those of you that are in your
cars driving all the time, good for you. I mean,
it's probably like a reason why you listen to our
podcasts because you need something to do. But I just
(22:26):
am not a driver, don't I could never. I don't
think I could ever do a job that involves me
having to drive constantly.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
No way.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Not only that, I remember we would do, you know,
we would drive for spring.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Break to like Florida.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, and when it would be my turn, because we
would each take napscause we drive through the night, I
would get like a tap from abbing and no, she's
like all right, and she'd have another hour. I thank
god did not kill us, because when I would drive,
I remember just like doing the thing where you're like, oh, yeah,
so dangerous.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
It is so dangerous. The only time I ever feel
like I got really bad with the sleepiness was I
was at my friend's cabin for the Fourth of July.
Got eaten a lie by Mosquitos the nightmare, and so
I barely slept the night before and I was just
because my legs itched so fucking bad. And so the
next morning I'm driving back to the cities. It's like
a three and a half hour drive, and I was like,
(23:17):
I like need something. So they're like, well, here, you
can take this medicine whatever, So I take it, and
that drive I was almost asleep. I feel like behind
the wheel and I did a drowsy mess. I didn't
know because I had never been that person that just
easily like could ever fall asleep behind a wheel. So
I had I pulled into a McDonald's and got a coffee.
Oh god, I was like fine the rest of the drive,
(23:37):
but I would it took me like I didn't realize
it still, like for months later what the reason was.
And then I was like, oh my gosh, it was
because I'm pretty sure they even said when they were
giving it to me, hey, just so you know, this
could cost some drowsiness like my friend's parents. And I
didn't even think about it. And I'm like, oh, I
think I probably was like, yeah, I'll be fine. Then
that never affects me. Oh it affected me. Yes, it
(23:59):
really affected me. So please don't get behind them all.
If you've taken drowsiness medication tips.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Today Jenny, men, take pictures of your wife, your kids.
Don't take suda fed drowsy or whatever. Bring a lot
of pairs of underwear in case you shirt yourself.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
This is and people say we aren't educational.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Who says that?
Speaker 3 (24:17):
I think?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I think most of the Google reviews the educational podcast.
If you need to learn something today, listen to Jenny
and listen to the Balance takes On at All.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
We got an email from Jillian. Oh wait, I don't
know I suppose to her name because you signed xoxo
Gossip girl.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Maybe it wasn't supposed to say her name.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Okay, she's fine. I'm sure she said I want to
write an email, uh with questions and whatnot. But she's
going to do that different time. But in regards to
what you call your little question time slash notes from
people section, my vote is titillators. Oh plays on involving
titillating questions and your hoots winky face. I do enjoy
(25:00):
that me too. I felt want to forget it next week,
so I'm gonna keep her email from one of the time.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
I kept her email and I kept the last one
from Anna to about her suggestion because I felt like
they are both very good. And because we are coming
to the end of the podcast, let me give you
a tittilating question because we still have questions left over.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
A titillating question.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I love it. If you had to eat hot dogs
or tacos the rest of your life, which would tachos? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
I felt like that was too easy, so easy. I mean,
I love a hot dog. I'm sure I would crave
a hot dog if I'm all eating tacos. But tacos
there are so many more varieties.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
You can go chicken. You can go beef, you can
go pork, you can go fish, shrimp, It goes on.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
You got anything else for me?
Speaker 1 (25:43):
I do?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Can you do? Well?
Speaker 3 (25:44):
That is? Oh Carney is his pork.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Yeah, I don't know. I just I just look at it.
I don't know what you would think, because I do
love tacos a lot, and I do love going to
like Rojo or wherever. But I always have to, like
ask Andrew for clarific meets a lot of time. I'm like,
so is that that one me that like? Blah? Anyway,
He's like, yes, my dear, Yes, beautiful, and you're fucking idiot.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
He would never, he would never. One final thing, are
you caught up on love is Blind?
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Okay, me too. So I thought it.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Was interesting that they ended up with a cliffhanger with
Ben and Sarah actually because up until this point, I
feel like they've seen pretty seemed pretty good. But man,
that last little scene, her face did not look completely
one hundred percent, even though going into it she said
she was like one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yes, I agree, and I will say I feel like
I must mean, you'll turn this podcast off if you're
you don't want any spoilers. But they do a preview
for the next round, and I rewatched the preview like
three times because there's a tiny millisecond where they show
Ben crying in it.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
All so okay.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Well that I think my bet is two couples get married, okay,
and I well, we obviously know Dave.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
And Lauren are getting very done.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Good God, I think it's gonna be Joey and Monica
and Taylor and Daniel same.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
I think, uh, if I had to just I feel
like Ben.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
I like, I know Ben. I've met Ben in person,
We've had him on the show. He seems he's like
always very nice to me. I think he maybe seems
like too, like he's mirroring her thoughts and opinions a lot.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Like whatever she says, he agrees with yep. And I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
It's not that I don't think he doesn't agree with it.
I don't think part of me feels like he doesn't.
Hasn't taken a lot of time to truly think about it.
He just wants to say what is appeasing to her?
Speaker 2 (27:47):
That and he lacks emotional maturity. He made one like
a comment to Lauren right when she got to the
buck Hill and was like, where's Dave, and Taylor immediately
goes Ben too soon, right, and it's like, I don't know,
there's been some things about him that have frustrated me.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Well, I mean, I know there's obviously stuff on TikTok
No we can we can't even.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Yeah, we based just on the show.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
That so I feel like she, even if she still
wants to date him and like him, I don't think
that she'll feel comfortable getting married due to the religion aspect.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
And then the only other.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Couple, why can't I think of their name Devin in Virginia,
Devin Virginia. I almost feel like, yeah, like, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
I think that they have different morals. That's what I
really think that they do. I think that they're both
good people, but I think that they see very differently
on certain very strong subjects that's going to lead them
to not be able to work out. Because so far,
it seems like they're both pretty agreeable with each other,
and when like something has come up where they're not
(28:55):
super on the same level playing field, it's kind of
like they both just brush it under their riot. Yeah,
and that's like smile good, Yeah, I don't know. So
I feel like they seem like good humans. I don't
know if they're meant to be together.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
And Mollie came out as like the hero in this week,
like a total girl. She was like the best part
of that episode was for sure, I'm excited to see
and now it's actually I think, decently entertaining.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
It was pretty boring.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
And we had Joey on The Jason Show today and
I was I brought up the fact that everyone says
it's boring, and I go, I think it's boring because
they spent way too long on the pod of the pods.
He goes that and he's like, I think that we're
just kind of like Minnesotan people are just a little
bit like we are more. I can't remember how he
worded it, but basically like none of them were really
(29:48):
in it for the fame they like I think. He's like,
I think it's boring because we actually truly wanted to
just find someone, and like it was just that's not
maybe as exciting as like more drama. He would not
tell me what happens in the reunion. I was like,
is there anything, like, oh, so they did film the reunion.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
I knew that I knew that.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
I didn't know they're not live.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Reunions because remember the one time they didn't live reunion
and it was a disaster. So I know that they
don't do those anymore.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
So I knew that they weren't doing the live anymore,
but I thought maybe they were waiting till I don't know,
I guess I don't know why. I thought it would
be like this week.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
That it was getting filmed, but I know they filmed it,
like I want to say, two weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Oh okay, Well that makes sense. I'm just curious about who's
going to be featured because I feel like there's a
lot of people who I'm curious about that haven't been
in these last few episodes that I want to know
what happened with them. I want to know what's going
on with Madison. I want to know what's going on
with Megan Mason. Maybe those are the only people I
care about, but I do, like I am curious about that.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
I've also heard rumors about them going out in North
Loop and different things.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Yeah, like who going out like the cats on Birds?
Oh yeah, yeah. I mean I have friends who are
on the show, and that I'm like friends with on
social media, so I've seen like who's all been hanging out?
Speaker 3 (31:03):
And no, not even like that.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Like I've heard some things about them showing up to
places like no Lo twelve Deep being like no reservation,
like you know who we are, like get us leaving
without paying tass what. I've heard a lot of different
rumblings about the No. I don't want to say no
I know specifically and I but I yeah, oh man,
(31:30):
I'll honest.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Bailey said something, we're thinking about getting someone on the show,
and Bailey said something about this person and being like, oh,
I feel like I'm going to be nervous, and I go, no,
they're walking into like our show and like kind of
our territory, Like there's no reason you should feel nervous
about that. Yeah, they're on a reality show, just the
(31:52):
way that you think you're a normal person. They're a
normal person, So don't be nervous for anyone to be
if they were to come on the radio.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Well, the only two I've met are Ben and Joey,
and they both were very nice and easygoing.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
So I want to meet Joey.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
He was so wholesome.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Yeah, so he seems and I have friends that are
friends with him, and so I feel like that shows
like a lot about him because of the people that
I know that know him. Yeah, so yeah, I'm excited
for the Reugion me too. I want to see you
because now it's been a year if they said no
and the relationships are fizzled out, and I cannot wait
for like the Dave and Lauren and all the things.
(32:33):
So anyway, but okay, that's our time. Yeah, thanks for listening.
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Have a good week.
