Mackenzie and Josh have been together for over two years and currently live with one another. Mackenzie tells us that things have been great for the most part, but for the past three weeks Josh has been spending the night at his parents’ house because it’s closer to work. Mackenzie was okay with it at first, but she has also started to notice that Josh has been adamant on using protection in the bedroom out of the blue and she’s starting to think something else is going on.

We call Josh pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask Josh who he wants to send them to, he asks if we can send them to someone named Tiffany. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:04):
We do War of the Roses on internshown in your
morning show, because it wa'n't you be in a happy,
healthy relationship, And there is nothing worse than when you
get that nagging suspicion, the nagging feeling that something is
not right. Then maybe your person is stepping out. We
want to make that answer come quicker. Rip the band
aids straight off. McKenzie.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Good morning, Hey, good morning. I'm gonna be honest, girl.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I was reading the email and I was kind of
stumped too. You and Josh have been together for how long?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Two years? And living together? How long?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
We moved in about a year ago?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
And as far as the living situation, did he move
in with you? Did you move in with him? Did
you guys get a new place? What's kind of the
deal with that.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
He moved in with me? Okay?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Was it a situation where his lease was up and
it made sense or was this like we're we're leaning
towards more it's more convenient, or this is the next
big step in the relationship.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Oh, this is supposed to be our next big step
because he was, you know, been together for two years
for a year at that time, so you know, he wait,
let's text thing to the next level. We were talking
about getting married and want to be engaged.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Everything is great, okay, and so he moves in with you.
Everything's gone well, however, kind of the reason we're here
the last few weeks, there's been some suspicions arising.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
What's going on.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Yeah, so everything's been fine for like, you know, the
past year, I was living together and getting acquainted, and
then like out of nowhere, he started spending a night
at his parents' house for like three days a week,
three days out of the week He's at his parents' house,
not coming home, and I'm like, that's weird.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Weird.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, so, recuring your email, he claims it's because his
parents are closer to his work, right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
But I'm not I'm not buying that because.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Sure we don't.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
We don't really lift that far from his job, and
it doesn't matter if you if it was an hour away. Like,
I'm your woman. We used to be sleeping together every
night with each other. That's the norm, and to backtrack
is very alarming to me.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, I guess my question would be, I mean, has
he had the same job the last two years he
guys been together, Yes, so why now would he need
to be closer to work?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That makes sense exactly.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
It makes no sense to me, And I'm really trying
not to like get crazy putting air tag on his
car doing the most because I can go there.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
But I'm just trying.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
To like be cool about it and be calm. But
it's definitely caut like some issues you know in our
relationship with some argument. We're not in a spot right now.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Does he I won't give away too much, but does
he have a job where he would need to be
on call?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Absolutely not. He's you know, office job. This is a
regular nine to five. Once it's five is over?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Got you?

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
All right? That that takes away.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
How much closer are his parents though it's not that
I still think it's weird.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, how much closer his parents to his job than
you are?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
They may be him and his closer.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Maybe listen.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I've known like my female friends who will like stay
at their parents house. But dudes, I did not know
that to be a thing. Let's do this, Mackenzie love sauce,
call from the flower Company, off from the roses. They
should go to you girlfriend in two years if they
deal with put them on hold. If they give us
somebody else, we'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Okay, okay, I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Problem war the rosies in about three minutes on Intern,
John your Morning Shows, wore the rosies on Intern and
John in your Morning Show. Mackenzie, let me reset this quick.
You and Josh been together for two years, moved in
about a year ago. He decided to move into your place.
That was gonna be the next big step in the relationship.
Where things kind of got a little bit twisted. Is

(04:17):
about three weeks ago. He started staying at his parents'
house a couple of days a week, he says, because
his parents live closer to his job. And technically that's true,
although it's ten minutes closer. You said that he has
an office job where he doesn't have to be on call.
It seems rather suspiciously be as parents' house. We're just

(04:38):
talking during the song, McKenzie, and there's an important detail
about Josh's bedroom as parents' house, which is what, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Like this is his childhood bed, like not like he's
got a king size bed. Like this man is six
feet tall, so I'm pretty sure like he's super uncomfortable
feet hanging off the bottom of.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
The bed, looks like he's not so old. Yeah, it's
not the Ninja charal shirt sheets to work anymore, that
kind of vibe.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, yeah, seriously, like you're a grown man sleeping in
your childhood did, Like, yeah at all?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
The other question I have is that the place he
previously lived at before moving with you, was that closer
to his work or was that also you know, thefitly
the same disition.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
No, no, actually, like he was farther out. My house
is technically closer to his job than where he lived before.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Okay, so yeah, that's just again, I love my parents,
but like, sleeping over there a couple of times a
week is crazy. And then when when he stays there,
will you hear from that night at all? Like, will
you guys like FaceTime and Segod night? Or is it
kind of like he might as well be on Mars.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I mean, he might as well be on Mars because
he's not you know, a text message, but when I call,
he's not answering.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Okay, Okay, that's weird. All right, So let's do this.
We'll have sauce called Josh and the Flower Company off
from the Roses. They should go to you girlfriend of
two years. If then happens, we put them on hold.
We can then hang up or do whatever. If they
go to somebody else that we'll get to the bottom
of this. Okay, okay, one second, Should I get them?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Mom? Nothing worse than bed that's too small, a tycho bed.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
But hello, Hi, I'm calling for Josh.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, this is Josh.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Hi Josh, my name is Lacy.

Speaker 5 (06:39):

I don't mind supporting local businesses.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Yeah, I mean my parents just opened this shop, and
obviously we didn't really think about how you know, summer's
a little slow if we don't have any weddings.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
But thank you so much for supporting.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
So, I'm just gonna make you a little file so
that when you do come back to us, we can
be like you know, just I mean, now your family, Josh,
So who do you want to send them to you?
We can do same day delivery if it's in the
zip code or surrounding, or we can do next day Tiffany,
is that spelled a Y or an I e?

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Alry? Cool? And then what is she to you? Like
your your sister or your cousin.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Uh, she's a coworker, co worker?

Speaker 4 (08:05):
Okay? These are red roses? Is that okay?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Okay cool?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Sorry, we just have like an abundance of them. It's
not Valentine's Day, so uh all right. And then for
the card, just like your typical flower card, what do
you want to say?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
What's a little friction between some co worker? It's smiley face.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, excuse me, Josh? Are you serious
right now? You really flowers to a coworker.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
No, it's not, it's not it's not what you think
it's it's not even like that.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
My name is intern John. I have a sas and
Rose here as well. There's your girlfriend Mackenzie on the phone.
We're doing a war of roses in the show, and
he lets you know that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
What's it like? Yeah, it's a question?

Speaker 6 (08:54):
What?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah? What's uh?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Why are you sending flowers a coworker? And also where
are you is staying during the week?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
What?

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Well, top, don't stutter, but get it out now.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
You said you wanted to you wanted to role played, heard.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
You? I don't.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
That's news. He knows that I'm talking to her.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
We talked about role playing before, but you didn't even
know I was on the phone.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
So you guys have never role playing. And that's how
you start.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Role playing the phone laying.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
You know what?

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Josh?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Wait, So okay, so Josh, you so what you've been doing?
So okay, I'm gonna be honest. I'm a little lost.
So the reason that you're staying at your parents house
during the week is what.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I'm taking care of my mom. She's sicken. And Kenzie knows.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
That I feel like she would have mentioned, Mackenzie.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Did you know that.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
His mom has some things going on, but she has.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Her husband there. She's not alone, okay, and he could stop.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
By and check on her. His dad is there.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
It's not to the point where she's on our deathbed
or anything like that. So you're really please, will not
put twenty on, okay with this?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
So maybe won't let that one slide? Okay, that that
one's that's in the maybe column. However, Josh, so you
you're telling us there's no coworker named Tiffany.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Oh, there's no coworking named Tiffany.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
I knew that was her, Like you know, you know
how guys have the spidy senses.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Wait, so wait, you hear your sense about what?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Yeah, he did not that that was Mackenzie trying to
see what was going on.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
That way, I believe it.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
So so you're saying, Josh, you could just sense that
perhaps Mackenzie was starting the role playing early, got us involved,
and she was like, she's gonna play the part of
cheating somebody's again cheated on. And then you were like,
got it, I'm gonna pretend I'm saying to a cowork Yes,
that's just happening.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Definitely won't make anything.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Where you go, there you go, you got it exactly, okay,
line right now so bad? Like please stop boys, because
you know what. Actually, I somewhat remember you and Tiffany
having to do something before a coworker, A Tiffany was
some project at work.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
So where was one line?

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Where's the work Mackenzie, I'll caol, I ask for Tiffany.
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
I think that he he might have an aneurysm. That
might be the right there.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
I hope you don't. Four of the roses is cretic
and possibly edited to broadcasts with the permission granted from
all participants. One more roses go to YMS radio dot com.
