Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's head out to the hotline and bring on Jeremy Crosshaw,
the newest Dever Bronco. Jeremy, thank you so much for
the time. Congratulations you were a dever Bronco. How was
that phone call?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
That was awesome. I've been waiting today to see what happens,
and I couldn't be happy with the result that I have.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
You know, we were just we were looking and we
saw the profile picture here. Man, that's a heck of
a mustache that you've got that you're bringing out here.
Our producer here used to have the raining mustache here
in town. But you're gonna give them a run for
the money.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
I'd love to. I used to stall a couple of
years ago, but I think the humidity down here in
Florida kind of all the whacks would sweat out and
it would lose its form. So keep it tidy these days,
grow it out if I needed to. Yeah, you need to.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
You come back out here.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
You bring that It's dry out here, we don't have
the humidity, So bring that thing back.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
That's that's that's a winner.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
You need to bring that back.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, just mine.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah, and speak speaking of the elevation out here, how
do you go about adjusting, you know, as a punter
to that. It's going to help you put the ball further,
but I imagine it also makes some of those precision
moments trying to pin opponents inside their own twenty harder.
How do you make that adjustment to the elements?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I'm looking forward to heading out there and taking
advantage of that altitude, but when it comes to things
like that and just put a bit more hang time
on it, stay on the safe side if you need to.
But I think it shouldn't be difficult. I played a
sport where precision off the foot was needed at all times,
so shouldn't be a problem at all, and I think
a quick adjustment.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Was it always a dream of yours to go from
from rugby to American football? Is that something that you
were actively seeking when you went to Florida?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah? I probably since about twenty sixteen, I've had this dream,
So it's been a long time coming, spent a lot
of time training in different places for it, and ended
up in Florida and now at Denver, so it's paid off.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Are you the most notable athlete ever to come out
of EMU Hills other than the legendary cricketer Edward Evans.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Maybe it might be up for debate. I can't say
that one myself, but yeah, great little town em you're playing,
So shout out to them, all.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Right, last one here for you, Jeremy. You really appreciate
the time. So in your time at Florida, what was
sort of a memory that will sort of stay with
you and be something that you say, Okay, I got
this out of college.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
For me, I think it's honestly being part of a team.
Throughout the years, I've coming on with so many different guys,
a lot of them high draft picks and others who
went on to just work regular kind of jobs. And
I think for me, those memories with everybody that I
ever spent time with has been something that's stuck with me,
(02:57):
and those are the things I look back on during
my college career.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Funnly fantastic, Well, Jeremy, really appreciate the time. Congratulations, Very
excited to meet you here in the coming days. Thank
you so much for the time.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Man, awesome, Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
All right, Jeremy Crosshaw, punter for your Denver Broncos.
