some starters who can go, but you need bullpens. And
if you have a if your bullpen is deep enough

get from losing the World Series in five and the
easiest path to the World Series ever to winning it?

League Atlanta, the Mets, Diamondbacks were two seasons ago. The
Brewers maybe finally break through the Cubs. That would be
a great scenario. I know we do power rankings on
Tuesday in the NFL, but if we power ranked this season,
we would say those are the two best teams, the
Dodgers and the Yankees, two best teams all throughout twenty

twenty four. Dodgers and the Yankees. Get rid of that
weird window there where the Yankees struggled in June and July.
Get rid of that. You saw the two best. The
Dodgers had more firepower. The Dodgers end up being better.
Even though the starting pitching was an advantage going into
this year's World Series for the Yankees, it didn't play
a big as a factor is you pointed out there
because of other stuff that's happened, errors, offensive power, plane

throwers out of the bullpen. So the Dodgers have already
been doing this, and this is the weird part for
Yankee fans, and weird is the right way to describe it.

game and one gets smoked, so they're getting none no
matter what Miami, Clemson will get into the ACC game

tickets not to win the ACC, the tickets to get
in the postseason. And that's the biggest payer on the ticket.

So that's what's making me pause to wonder, Like, if
they lose one conference game, they're out and that will

some starters who can go, but you need bullpens. And

get from losing the World Series in five and the
easiest path to the World Series ever to winning it?

likelihood for the Yankees to bring home a World Series
add another championship to the legacy in the tradition of

Brewers maybe finally break through the Cubs. That would be

Tuesday in the NFL, but if we power ranked this season,
we would say those are the two best teams, the
Dodgers and the Yankees, two best teams all throughout twenty

twenty four. Dodgers and the Yankees. Get rid of that
weird window there where the Yankees struggled in June and July.
Get rid of that. You saw the two best. The
Dodgers had more firepower. The Dodgers end up being better.
Even though the starting pitching was an advantage going into
this year's World Series for the Yankees, it didn't play
a big as a factor is you pointed out there
because of other stuff that's happened, errors, offensive power, plane

throwers out of the bullpen. So the Dodgers have already
been doing this, and this is the weird part for
Yankee fans, and weird is the right way to describe it.
For a long time, didn't feel like it was just
the Yankees doing this, adding big time all stars, adding
super talent, willing to spend whatever.

the game potential foul trouble. I love college football, I
love the NBA. There's a lot of great sports. To me,
there is no greater sport to tell your own wager
than the NBA. Am I just recently buias because of that? Players?

Does it make sense? It makes sense because you just won.
Oh like that's I think if if you had lost
money last night, you'd be like, you know, there's no
sport worse to live bet than basketball. It's the worst.
Nobody likes it. Everyone should stop. I think it comes
down to what you understand, you know what I mean,

Like if you have if you can see a flow
of a game, like when you're watching the NBA, if
you're sitting there going you know a what I can
see what's happening here, this is gonna turn then it's NBA.
If if that's you with football, then it's the NFL
or college. You know, it really comes down to how
your brain works. I think personally, okay, but you know what,

I will stick by my play in the NBA is
the best sitting game in game. Just always be careful
because if you're on a feed delay like Lavac and
I are, it's tough because you might get what you
think is a better number, but it's really not. That

So you know, two nights ago, we're talking enough about
last night. Every one it last night again. Well I
was live bet in the Yankee game during their win,
and yeah, it was ahead, the site was ahead, so
I'm like, I wanted to do Judge was gonna get

and then like on the average like eleven runs and
it woudn't let me be Judge. I'm like, oh, okay,
he had a double. I think I was gonna bet
a home run though, if I'll be in perfectly honest
with myself, so I probably would have lost.

Have you ever done it in bite wager? Because I
mentioned the UFC. I don't know if I explain that more.
They're like, Okay, let's say, for instance, fighters down to
nothing on the card. If you and I are watching
the fighter, like, all right, this guy's got no chance.
Let's say he's plus six fifty plus seven hundred. Hey,
the only way this is gonna cash is if he
goes for a knockout. That's a dangerous it's a fun payout,
but it can be dangerous in the sense of you're

waging on a fighter that's already been physically, Like you're
hoping that a guy has a hel Mary guess is
a bad comparison there because the cross sport.

But you know what I mean, Like, sometimes you get
an underdog who you well, or or you get a
favor or whatever you see it where they're not as
stunned by the hits as as you as you think
they should be. And that's sometimes you'll ride that. You'll
go jump on that side because well, if they're not
stunned by the hits, there's a chance that they're just
gonna go in to t off and win, so that

that's the only time I really do it.

Yeah, there is something to the just first round of oh,
this fight's not going the way I hoped and just
backing off or ride it with your play. So that

Here's the parlay. I did seven leg parlay these teams

to make the college football playoff. Okay, Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, Texas,
Notre Dame, Boise State, and SMU. So, if you've been
following college football, all of those have a true scenario
to happen now. Earlier the summer, you've been listen in

the Levan Gas you know I'm on the road to something.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Do you know what the road is to loneliness? No,
that's the Pinkki from July, the road too from July,
the road to nowhere.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
No, no, no, no, it's the road to the PlayStation five.

That was my next game.

You may have forgot that after I didn't cash any
of the road to the PlayStation five. So gain the

not only is that out there, you can figure out
how what have I waged? I didn't wage you one
hundred bucks, but I round robin this. So I've got
all the combinations for five, all the combinations for six,

and the combination for seven. So I covered my a
little hedge bet whatever you want to phrase it as.
So the big ones SMU in there. But let me
lay this out quickly for you. If you've been following collegeable,
you know that Ohio State this week plays Penn State
Big Game. You know that coming up this season, Notre
Dame still got Army on this schedule, Oregon is still
in the mixed Boise States and at Larne and my

favorite one on there, and I had it in the preseason.
SMU is undefeated in the ACC. SMU plays pit this
week and they're at eleven to one on this ticket.
So here's my thought. Uh, you know what I'm gonna say.
How much actually wagering on this? I usually don't, you know,
I'm usually unit changed. But with all those combinations played out,
(40:26):
this would pay me seven thousand dollars, which is a
lot of money for me, and I gratuate there. Again,
that's more about me just playing the combos. That's all
that was. So we have hit a scenario now, now, Levak,
where the cash out has been offered and it is
enough to buy the PlayStation and a game. So over
five hundred and fifty dollars has been offered for me.
(40:47):
So if I want to have the road happen, I've
done it. I've reached the road here. So Levac and
you listening, I toss it to you. Do I cash
out college football? Make the playoff Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, Oregon,
Notre Dame, Boise State, SMU placed in August, get the PlayStation,

be good to go.

Or do I ride this baby out.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
I've already hedged it. Or last case scenario. I talked
to my wife about this she said, one more week.
She I don't know what is in her mind. She
thinks Ohio State can beat Penn State. She thinks SMU
is gonna beat pitt Notre Dame is in good shape,
she says, ride it out. What do we think, Lavac?
Speaker 2 (41:33):
Obviously, the payout right now is a substantial increase on
what you wagered right.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
About twelve times as much twelve to one payout now.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
For you? You keep saying twelve to one, though, so
you might be lying, And I think that's the math.
How do you feel about your play? How do you
feel about these teams?
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Here's the biggest thing that is hurting me on this play. Here,
I believe all those teams can get in. The biggest
hiccup is SMU. Because SMU barely beat Duke last week.
SMU has some game. They're gonna be favored for the
rest of the year. But there's a scenario that plays
out where Clemson and Miami both also finished the ACC undefeated.
(42:19):
But wait a second, does that even hurt SMU's chances
Because let's say, for instance, they both play in the
game and one gets smoked, so they're getting none no
matter what Miami, Clemson will get into the ACC game
won't matter, and SMU will be eleven and one get
left out of the playoff. So that you know, the
tickets not to win the ACC, the tickets to get
in the postseason. And that's the biggest payer on the ticket.
(42:41):
So that's what's making me pause to wonder, Like, if
they lose one conference game, they're out and that will
be the payoff done. So that's why I'm concerned because
I could realistically see that happening everybody else I feel
really good about.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
I mean, you know me, hold, but like, how do
you feel.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
I'm gonna give it one more week? All right, I'm
giving it one more week.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
This is gonna happen. This could anything happen this week
that would blow you out. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
I would say that if Penn State beats Ohio State
and Ohio State goes to two losses and then potentially
plays Michigan for a shot at the playoff, that could
blow me out. Man, don't do that's me. That's a
scenario because.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
I'm there's no way, guys are earth I'm rooting for
Ohio State this week.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
I would say if Army beats Notre Dame later this
in November. That would end it.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
Well, yeah, I'm saying this week cause you saying let
go mena, let it ride one more week. Those are
the famous last words before something stupid happens, if and
and you end up out So like, do I think that? People? Here,
Here's here's what I'm saying to you. You just said,
if Army beats Notre Dame in November, you'd be done, right.

I would, I would think.

So. Yeah, So what else has your attention at that level?
Because that one is making you nervous If there's no
if that's the first thing you think is a real
chance of you stumbling, you should ride till then and
then evaluate.

I think SMU is going to destroy Pittsburgh this week.

schedule to come up with this. Why wouldn't you look
