Well, that's what we want to find out.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Let's bring Mark on. Mark are you there, I'm here,
Let's talk about Jess. How'd you guys meet, and then
let's roll through the first date.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Okay, So yeah, we met like a lot of people
were meeting on Hinge. You know, we jammed really well,
like she's really in the fitness and that's my thing,
and uh, you know, we were having good chemistry back
and forth messaging and I was like, I really want
to I'm really looking forward to meeting her. And so
we decided to meet up at a restaurant and honestly
had a pretty great time. And we also turned out

(00:46):
we both work out at the same gym, we both
live in the San Jose area. Oh wow, And the
date was going good that we were like flirting a
lot and kind of get a little touchy, and I
actually drove her home. Oh and uh yeah. I was like,
all right, well, the night's going good. So I decided

(01:06):
to go in for a kiss and she dodds it
and I was like, that's fine. You know, it's kind of.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Or something, not that it's ever happened to me or anything.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
All right, I got you right, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
This is how you know, Mark stays on his grind
and stays focused. They work out at the same gym.
And are you telling me you've never noticed her?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
I have very streamlined when I'm in there, I got
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, I'm not really looking around, you know, Yeah, sure,
all right, Corey, your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Well, you know, she's into the gym, he said, And
she goes as Jim and a dumbbell fell on her head.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Good lord, she's fine. She doesn't have any short term memory.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Oh wow, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
It's Tuesday. It's short and sweet.

Speaker 7 (01:52):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well listen, Mark, hold up for a second. Let's go
ahead and regroup. We're gonna call Jess'll play a song first.
We'll try to see you.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Ultimately.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
We would love to get you a second date, obviously,
but let's try to figure out what happened.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Okay, all right, Bud, We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It's Second Date Update Star one oh one three, Well
variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's Star.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
One O one three. It's Marcus and Corey doing Second
Date Update, chatting with Mark.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
He met Jess on hinge. They went out to eat
and then they realized they worked out at the same
gym there in San Jose. Yeah, which is cool. All right, Mark,
are you ready to make this phone call?

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, let's do it.

Speaker 7 (02:27):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
We're gonna call Jess with him on the line and
try to figure out why she's ghosted.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Hello, Hi, may speak with Jess.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Please, Hi, Jess. It's Marcus and Corey from Star one
O one three.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
Hey, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 7 (02:50):
I am right? How are you?

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Good morning? Do you listen to our show?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Doesn't sound like it's not really?

Speaker 7 (02:58):
What's chat? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Sorry? Good morning?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
We do a radio show on Star one on one
three here in San Francisco, and we wanted to talk
to you if you have time to discuss a date
you've been on recently.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
If we can do it on the air, that would
be great. His name is.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Mark and he he enjoyed your time, would love to
take you out again.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
It seems like you've ghosted.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
And he did tell us that you dodged his kiss at.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
The end of the date.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
So I'm just wondering where did he screw up?

Speaker 7 (03:31):
Yeah, oh wow, this.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Is it's a lot.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Sorry, it's a lot.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
Yeah, I don't mind. I can tell you. I know. Yeah,
I remember the day. So we had a good time.
It wasn't all that deep. He drove me home. There
were spots, but he chose to park in a handicapped
spot right outside my place, and then he walked me in.
I was and I said, hey, are you gonna park there?

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Is he disabled?

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Not at all. He's young. We actually go to the
same gym. He's in really good shape. So weird to me.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Oh yeah, okay, so full stop.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
To me, it was it was. It was just bizarre
because it was it didn't even seem like it was
a one time thing or he left his flingers on it.
He just said yeah, and he admitted he does it
all the time, even at the gym. Sure. I just
thought it was okay, it was bizarre. I don't even
go to the gym now when I see his car
because I it makes me so I'm turned off by it.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So our segments called second date update and actually Mark
did give us your phone number, but he's also listening,
so this makes it very clear.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Mark, are you there?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yeah, I'm here. I'm just kind of confused that was
that was the reason.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
Yeah, dude, that's a big reason.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I couldn't do that.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
You know, even if like I knew everything, like in
our building we don't have anybody who needs that space,
but I still wouldn't do it.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Marcus.

Speaker 7 (04:54):
Kind of it's a small thing, but it's very representative
of the way you look.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
At the world.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
It was little things can be really big in my opinion.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
I guess I don't see it that way. I you know,
like most of the times the one a parking spaces, it's
at hours that a lot of people that utilize them
are not around. It's like, how do you go on
a second date? Because I make no left hander?

Speaker 7 (05:17):
You know. I find that to be pretty I don't know,
I'm some grossed out by it. I find it pretty incomplete.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Do you not get popped?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
I was just gonna say, have you not goten a
ticket or toad?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
To be honest, I'm really not there that long. I
just conduct my business and i'm out.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
So Jess, I'm thinking this is a deal breaker for you.

Speaker 7 (05:33):
Yeah, it's gonna be, you know, for me,
