Speaker 1 (00:00):
More variety from the two thousands, the nineties, and today
it's Star one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey
doing second date update, and we have to kind of
put our like our regular calls on hold because we
are getting a follow up call. Finally, this is the
follow up call that everybody who's been asking for for
the last two weeks. Let me set the scene for
you really quick. Do you remember it was like a

(00:20):
couple of weeks ago where Monica and Greg went out
and Monica, on a dare from her friends some sort
of weird competition, stole Gregg's jacket.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Yeah, and she said it was one of the best
things she's ever stolen from a date.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
So this is something they do on the regular, right,
And it was weird and gross and probably illegal on
some level.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
And He's like, I'm not really interested in her. I
just want my jacket back. And so then we started
getting all his emails like did he get.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
His jacket back? Correct, because originally we were just having
to bring it down to the radio station. But then
I was like, why am I putting myself in the
middle of it. I didn't want to get in the
middle of it. I don't want anything to do with
this weirdness? Huh uh, guess who's on the phone. Who Monica?
Are you there?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yes, I'm here, Hi Monica. So, like, did you return
the jacket?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Wait, hold on, hold on, before we get into it,
how are you?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Jeez?

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I mean, I'm good, I'm good.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I honestly this whole thing. I didn't know what jacket
could hold so much, but the jacket has taken us
on a little journey.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Did you get the jacket back to Greg?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Greg has his jacket and actually now hold on, hold on,
hold on, hold on? Might he keep cutting her off?
Because how am I supposed to believe her?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Why wouldn't you believe her?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
She stole the jacket? She's like, I'm sorry, Monica, but
you're like borderline weirdly pathological.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
But she wouldn't call just a lie to us, would she.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I mean, I don't know, Monica.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I'm not lying.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I'm not a bad person. I think you guys still
think I'm like, I don't know, not a good person,
but I honestly did return the jacket. I have to verify.
I know this is slightly offensive. Again, Can you hold on?
Can we get Greg on the phone. Hold on, I

(02:12):
think we can get Greg on the phone. Can you
hang on, I just we'll be right back.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Hang on. She on.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Hold, We're gonna dial Greg up and just see if
she did, in fact return the jacket.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
If you really think that's necessary, I'm.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Sorry, I got trust issues. We're gonna take a pause.
We'll do it next. This is Second Date Update. It's
Star one O one three. More variety from the two thousands,
the nineties, and today it's Star one O one three.
It's Marcus and Corey doing Second Date Update. It's a
little unorthodox this morning, a little twisted only because if
you've been following the saga of Greg's jacket, if you remember,
a couple of weeks ago, he went out with a

(02:47):
lady named Monica who on a dare from her friends.
I guess they played this game they take things from
their dates. He let her borrow his jacket, she stole it,
and she is on the other line claiming she gave
it back, that the with some sort of exchange. So
I wanted to get him on the phone to verify.
And guess who's on the phone. Let me guess, Hey Greg, Yeah,
what's up?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Hey Greg? How's it going. Sorry to bug you so
early again, but you'll never guess who's on the other line.
You remember that girl, Monica that took your jacket on
your date.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, I mean, yes, I do.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So she forget her called in to tell us that
she actually returned the jacket, and I just want to
verify with you that the jacket has been returned.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I'm happy to say the jacket was returned, but it
was kind of a weird situation.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Great, okay, but first off, you did get your jacket back.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Monica's not a bit, of course. It was a weird situation.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
The jacket has been retrieved. It is in the safe
custody once again.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Okay, okay, now what's up? What's the weird part?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I mean, so, you know, we arranged a pickup time
and place, right, she shows up, and I was excited
to see that the jacket was actually there, and she
was going to try to like knock me out and
steal some more of my stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
But geez, you guys didn't want to wake up in
the bathtub missing a kidney.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
All right, Yeah, I don't like So she goes to
hand me the jacket and then immediately she just starts
aggressively flirting with me, like she starts saying, Oh, I
feel bad. I didn't give you a chance. You're actually
really cute, and you know, one thing leads to another
and we end up in my car and what really

(04:32):
I mean? I couldn't go into specific.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I don't think they're playing.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
That's interesting. Okay, what does this mean? Are you guys
going out again?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
No? No, you're right. The girl is completely insane. I
just saw an opportunity for maybe a little bit of
revenge and I took it. What seriously, I've heard the
expression don't stick a certain part of you and crazy,
but when revenge is involved, I couldn't pass it up.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Are you serious? Oh? God, is serious?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
I guess I got my jacket back. I got a
little something else. I'll tall it as an interest and
we'll just leave it at that.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I don't want to talk to him anymore. Okay, glad
you got your jacket, Greg, thanks for picking up.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Yeah. No, I appreciate the help with you guys, but
I could do without you.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Sure. Take care bye?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
All right, before you say anything, let me grab her.
I don't like him, I get it me neither. This
whole thing is weird. Hello Monica, Hi, sorry, sorry, and
we did he said, he said that he got his
jacket back. So good on you. You doing that. I
believe you, didn't believe you. I I'm glad it all

(05:53):
worked out.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Did he tell you about how we kind of like
reconnected when I gave the jacket back. I think we're
kind of a thing.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
I think we're kind of a thing though. He said
he's gonna call me and stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh surprise. Okay, well you know what.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
You let us know.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
You keep us posted, good luck. Okay, okay, thanks, Well
I should be thanking you guys. Honestly, don't do that.
Thank you for the update. Okay, well, thank you guys.
All right, take care, dude. I don't want anything to
do with that.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I don't want to talk to you him ever again.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
We're done. We're done.
