This week the voice of the Wisconsin Badgers joins Ben to discuss the men's basketball team's victory over the 3rd ranked Marquette Silver Eagles from this past Saturday. Max Klesmit led the way for the Badgers with 21 points, the most he's scored as a Badger! The Badger ability to rebound the basketball really was the deciding factor in the game as Bucky outrebounded the Golden Eagles 38 to 23 and outscored them 18 to 2 in second-chance points. Matt and Ben also discuss the football Badger's upcoming bowl game which was announced yesterday. Wisconsin will meet LSU in Tampa on New Year's Day in the Reliquest Bowl. And finally we get Matt's thoughts on the 4 teams that made the college football playoff.

season now Wisconsin has taken down theirin state rival. So big game from
Max Klesman. Matt twenty one pointsin the first half, the most points
he's put up as a Wisconsin Badgerthe Wafford transfer. But he really carried
the team in the first half.Yeah, he did in the first half,

that's for sure. Probably bailed himout of some great possessions, just
his ability to hit some shots,and he was the one guy who could
hit a three pointer during the game. And yeah, he allowed Wisconsin to
build the big lead that it hadup there, as many as sixteen points
thirteen at the half and then theother guys stepped up in the second half.
I mean they rebounded the ball reallywell. When your second chance points

totals are eighteen to two, thatsays a lot the way you're able to
hit the hit the boards, especiallythe offensive boards. And that was actually
one thing about Marquette. As goodas it is and I think it could
be really really good and could makequite a run in March, the rebounding
is not great for Marquettes, andWisconsin was able to take advantage of that
with Steven Krowd, Tyler Wall,their ability, Aj Story's ability to attack

and you know, even if he'smissing the shot, somebody is there,
one of his teammateers there to getthe rebound. And they got to the
foul line a lot. That's beenan emphasis with this team this season.
They weren't very good at the foulline last year and they didn't get to
the foul line a lot last year, but they're getting there more. Twenty
four to twenty eight on Saturday againstMarquette, so they proved that they clearly,

at least for one day on Saturday, we're the better team and were
able to hold off that Marquette run. The second half. Yeah, Wisconsin
out rebounded Marquette thirty eight two twentythree. I'll score them to eighteen to
two in second chance points as well. So let's kind of hint on how,
you know, maybe the maturity we'veseen, or we saw this past

Saturday from this Badger team being ableto withstand that run for Marquette to kind
of start off the second half there. Yeah, and they show that maturity
a couple of times this season,even in Fort Myers when they weren't making
shots, they were falling behind againstSMU, got down double didges, just
stayed with it and they were ableto get the ball on the paint.
Then I think they also knew thatMarquette was going to have a run.

going to take a pretty good punch. Marquette did a really good job.

Badger is going to have their handsfull with LSUL. Yeah, yeah,
