a chance to go to one in washing d C.
With my brother because you know he sells puzzles. Shout

(01:03):

Con is like a comic con, but in Washington, d C.
And there is nothing better than seeing grown men and
women dressed up like fairy tale characters from Star Wars
and Magic the Gathering and you know, all of the

(01:25):
random superheroes walking around it.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I love it.

magic during lunch, you know who you are.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
That was a good time. It was a fabulous time.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
But it made me think, like there are a lot
of adult superfans people who will fly across the country
to dress up like a Hobbit or someone from Lord
of the Rings or someone from Star Wars or whatever
random video game or fantasy book. What are you a
super fan of this morning? Please call and let me know,

(02:21):

it and love it and squeeze it because we can
appreciate it.

Yeah, and you're a super fan of Bob's Burgers, I
would say, because everything for you is Bob's Burgers.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I was going crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Bob's Burger stuff at Awesome Con and I spend a
lot of money on a Bob's Burger box of stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
So yeah, people spend money on things that they love.

Be exacts from the tiger tigers are my animal support.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
No, bruh, no, no, no, seven tigers. You don't get
seven tigers as emotional support animals.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Nope, nope, not real tigers not walking around. I'm sorry,
and I am a Navy veteran, so I feel for
you and your PTSD. But no, we are not having
seven seven tigers.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
No, stop it, stop it now. He's the one in
the cage because he's in jail.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Karina. I'm just saying, don't I'm just saying, that is

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I wish a neighbor would try and walk a tiger

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Morning Drive with Christy Live on Classic Kids one oh
three point seven. Each time for the great.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Debate what is the best way to handle a bully
that's messing with your kid? Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,
always have a new great debate and it's super great
when you bring something to the tables. So, Celia, you
have a situation happening with your daughter right now.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
What's going on? Okay, Christy.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
So we've been dealing with the little situation of bullying
and my daughter has come to us a couple of times,
and we've allowed, you know, school officials take care of this.
But Mama Bear is a little frustrated now. So I
keep saying, I'm just gonna go down there and have
a nice little conversation with this young lady that it's
sixteen years old and knows better by now. But my
partner can tell me, no, we can't cause more drama.

(07:04):
It's gonna be worse for our daughters. So at this point,
I'm a little frustrated. Do we keep the tension going
and get through growing pains for my daughter? Or would
it be all right if I just go over there
and have a nice little chat with this young lady
who needs to be set in her place.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Ooh, not you going down there to punk a sixteen
year old. I don't know if that's the best idea.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I know, we're in a new time of life and
we're supposed to talk about our feelings and you know,
not be confrontational right off the bat. But when it
comes to my babies, there's a whole different outlook on that.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I don't know. I might have to take your partner's
side on this one.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yeah, I'm not confronting a kid because that can go
real bad, real quick.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
What do you think though? That is the question for
this morning's Great Debate. I mean, I don't have any kids,
but maybe if I did, I would feel a certain
way about it if someone was messing with my kid
one eight six, six, nine hundred and one oath three
seven or tap the red microphone and you can leave

(08:03):
a talk back on our free iHeartRadio app to join
the Great Debate. How do you handle someone who's bullying
your kid? Hear from you next on Classic Kids.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Back to the Great Debate Classic Kids. One oh three
point seven.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
What is the right way to handle someone a kid specifically,
who's bullying your child or your godchild, niece, nephew. That
is the question for this morning's Great Debate. Do a
new one every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And Celia called
and she said she wanted to go talk to the
kid herself. Nico checking in, what do you think?

Speaker 7 (08:42):
I think she was right. Times have changed. You can't
really be confrontational off the bat anymore. And she's also
right that when it comes to your kids, it's kind
of different. I think she's got to reach out to
the parents first, Okay, and then if it doesn't go right,
because you know, sometimes parents can side with their kids. True,

(09:02):
then yeah, she probably needs to go down to school
and scare the living crap into them.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Okay, you know, I appreciate you keeping it real, Niko.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yeah, you have a good one.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
You too, Good morning, Melissa. Appreciate you jumping into the
great debate. How do you handle someone who's bullying your kid?
Do you take matters into your own hands?

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I would call their parents. I would call their mother
and let them have it. Nobody messes with my kid.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
That's kind of what Nico said to me, though, talking
to the parents might be a better idea than going
to punk a kid.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
I'll note your vote though, thanks so much. What do
you think?

Speaker 2 (09:40):
One eight sixty six nine hundred one oh three seven
Tap the red microphone if you happen to be listening
on our free iHeartRadio app, just hold it down.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
You can send a talk back message straight to the studio.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
How do you handle someone who's bullying your kid or
the kid in your life, Confront them, talk to somebody.
That is the question for this morning Great Debate.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Hear from you.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Next back to the Great Debate Classic Kids. One oh
three point seven.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Celia called and her daughter's being bullied. She wants to
go down to the school at three o'clock high. Is
it three o'clock high or five o'clock high?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
The daughter?

Speaker 5 (10:22):
I never even heard of that phrase, but she wants
to go down and handle business.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
It was a movie herself. Anyways, It was a movie.
It was a great movie. But I can't remember the title. Sary,
what do you think?

Speaker 8 (10:33):
Wait?

Speaker 6 (10:33):
I mean a sixteen year old just almost an adult, and.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
I would just say, you know, it's really important, especially
for a sixteen year old girl.

Speaker 6 (10:41):
They need to learn how to deal with these issues.

Speaker 9 (10:45):
They need to like.

Speaker 6 (10:46):
Work it out somehow. You know, this is an opportunity
for your daughter to learn how to deal and.

Speaker 8 (10:52):
Cope with people who are doing these things.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
So you would stay out of it, let your kid
handle it. Yeah, sounds good. I will note that boat.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Thank you so so much, Darwin got a talk back
from our app. Hit that red microphone anytime you want
to join the fun.

Speaker 8 (11:05):
Good morning, It's Nina weighing in on the Great Debate.
Props to the mom. I think it's great that she
knows what's going on in her daughter's life and they
communicate about it. So I think it's important that the
mom says something to somebody because somewhere there's a lack
of communication and it could be the kid that's doing
the bullying. So somebody needs to know what's going on.

(11:27):
So the kid needs to be confronted or the parent
needs to know what's going on with their bullying kids.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Okay, thank you so much. Appreciate the talk back.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Anytime you want to jump in, you just hit that
red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Looks like we got one more talk back here.

Speaker 9 (11:43):
Good morning, Christin Creeney and this is Keith from Balleo.
If I had a kid and then being bullied, I
would teach my kid how to fight. Oh okay, and
I would have my kid call that Bulli's bluff first.
Somebody even say, you know what, try to reason with them,
and when that doesn't work, the fight, and then when

(12:04):
you both get in trouble, get caught the principal's office,
then we can meet the parents.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Okay, okay, have a whole conversation from that. Thank you
so much to everyone who jumped in for this morning's
great debate.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
A lot of people said, let the school do with it,
don't go down there and start a fight.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Well yeah, people did say yeah with that. The majority
is like, come on, okay, don't mess with people's kids
in the bay. I'm saying, all right, don't mess with
Keith and kids if we have a good day.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Back to the music.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
