Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm only joking, honey. I only did it because I
thought it would be funny. Woo man. So last time
Michelle and I decided to have like date night. We
were like, hey, let's go over to the casino. You know,
we'll take a little road trip and have some fun,
spend a couple hundie. Maybe we'll make a little dough.

(00:20):
We didn't, by the way, And we get back to
the car and she realizes, where are my glasses? Her
prescription glasses? Right, I mean, everybody knows how expensive it is,
you know, to go to the eye doctor and to
get a new prescription, and then you order your glasses
and then you go. Man, there's a lot of money

(00:41):
for those. So she left them somewhere at a machine.
And so we were out in the car. We had
already sort of like left the parking lot, and then
we had to go back and I walked through the
entire place. She walked through the every single place she
had been. We had asked, do you have the glasses?
Blah blah blah, No we don't. They check lost and

(01:03):
found sad story, they did not have the glasses. So,
you know, there's another expense that you have to take on.
So yesterday, and I've joked around with her about this
for a long time. I told her I was going
to get to those little what are those little things
that you know, the like the uh, I'll just say
fishermen wear them. I have some myself to keep you

(01:27):
from losing your glasses when you're fishing. But you know,
most people don't really want to wear, you know, their
prescription glasses like the little chains and go down the side.
And I ordered some from Amazon and the package came
yesterday and I thought she was going to rip my
throat out with a broken coffee mug. She was not

(01:51):
happy about that. What she was happy about, see, you've
always got to have a little icing on this cake,
you know, if the cake is bad, Like my joke
I guess was bad. I'm like, here, I got you these,
and I had like straight face. Oh, she was really
not happy about that. The good news was I called
said casino and they found the glasses. So there you go.

(02:18):
So not only do we get her prescription glasses back,
but I get to go to the casino again. So
I'm very very happy about that. Here you go, you
turned a negative right into a positive. Ex caamerel
