Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
You need to know.
Speaker 3 (00:02):
Well, good morning, good morning, get at six o'clock on
the dot on Wednesday morning. Thank you so much for
joining us right now, Ricky Sanchez has three things you
need to know.
Speaker 4 (00:10):
Todd and Julie Chrisly have been pardoned by President Trump.
The couple had been serving sentences in federal prison after
being convicted in twenty twenty two of bank fraud and
tax evasion. Todd was sentenced to twelve years and Julie
was sentenced to seven. This part and process can take
a few days before the Christlies are actually released, and
there's a possibility that they end up in a halfway
house before they are completely and totally free, but they're
(00:33):
making their way towards that. Here's one more reason to
try limiting your stress. Bringing home stress from the office
actually hurts your dog's mental health too. So for this study,
researchers surveyed eighty five dog owners to measure job stress
and how often they think of work in their free time.
Those owners were then asked how stress they thought their
(00:54):
dogs were while tracking behaviors tied to stress four dogs
like whining, pacing, restlessness. The study concluded that owners with
high stress jobs had dogs who showed more stress related behavior,
so they suggest keep work stress away from home.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
You don't want to stress out your little dog.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Oh oh, those poor dogs work.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
So that's just one more reason that you should not stress.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
I mean, obviously, I'm saying that as someone who stresses
out all the time and has anxiety constantly.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
So that's just something to keep in mind when you
go home to here.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
At least and Cheequid has announced a new parking plan.
So cheek Wud currently has eighty six parking spots on
its property and an area for overflow and regular parking
that was agreed upon with Metro Parks.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
So in March of twenty twenty five, Metro Parks.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Extended their agreement with them to twenty twenty seven, but
they took away one of the lots, which had one
hundred and sixty parking spaces, so they're making more space
and a few other upgrades as well. According to a
press release, the facility is working to provide parking for
seven hundred and fifty vehicles and include several ev charging
stations and easy rides, your drop off and pick up area,
(02:02):
a new ticketing center.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
And an expansive twenty thousand.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Square foot green roof, new gardens, and a sustainable rainwater
harvesting system.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
All this sounds great. I'm like really excited about this.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I'm excited for the parking because it is so.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Such a headache and it's so fun to go to
cheek Wood and be outside and experience everything there. They
have great events, but the parking is such a headache,
so this is amazing to hear. The downside here is
that they don't think the construction is going to complete
until twenty twenty seven, which does go hand in hand
with their agreement with Metro Parks. So don't expect new
parking just yet. We got to wait a little while,
(02:38):
but it's coming.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning on the River.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Jamie and Clarksville, Good morning, welcome to one oh seven
five the River. How's your morning going so far?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
It's going good. What are you doing right now? Where
are you going? It sounds like you're in the car.
I'm you know, you got to share with the class.
Jamie from Clarksville.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
What do I work at the VA in Nashville?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Oh well, thank you for what you do. Because all
of those veterans need your help. So I appreciate you
being there.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Oh, thank you.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
How is traffic this morning? Because I feel like since
school has been out in like Davidson County, the inner
State has been pretty dead. Like when we drove in
this morning, I saw like three cars. Maybe.
Speaker 6 (03:19):
Yeah, it's not busy at all. I'm going I'm on
twenty four right now.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
I know most people with kids are upset that summers
happening because they have to spend more time with their kids. Yep,
but it's great for everybody else who doesn't have kids.
Ll Jamie, you are the first caller of the day
on one of seven five of the river, so you're
getting to get to Holiday World and smash its fart awesome.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Thank you, You're welcome.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Congratulations. Have you ever been to a Holiday World? No, okay,
we were just talking about this yesterday. I've never been
to Holiday World either, and Zach is telling me that
even though I'm an adult, I should still go and
experience it.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Without a doubt. You have to.
Speaker 6 (03:57):
I believe, even if you're a kid or an adult,
you never can be a kid too long.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Amen and amen Jamie. Well congratulations, have fun. Being a
kid at holiday World and Splash and Safari, and thanks
for starting your day with us. We appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Hang on the line for me. I'm gonna grab some
more information really quickly. Okay, yeah, perfect, hang on.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
I do kind of want to ride some rides. I
haven't gotten on a roller coaster in a really long time.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Okay, so what's holding you back? I'm confused.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
You're gonna come with me right?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Well, duh. I'll hold your hand too if you want
me to.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
I don't need you to hold my hand. I love
roller coasters, but I do need you to come with me.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Okay, easy, peasy. We do have more chances tomorrow morning
at the same time, same place, six point twenty right
here on one to seven five the River.
Speaker 7 (04:39):
Thanks for being a part of our morning Ricky, Zach
and Mano in the morning on the River's.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning on one o
seven five the River, And we have our friends nightly
in the studio with us.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Bye, good morning.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I always feel like there should be like a round
of applause and like claps.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Yeah there we go.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Yay, you guys are whole right now because you have
a big, big day happening on Friday.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
You're playing the Ryman.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
Can't believe it?
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Is it still like very surreal for you guys because
you guys came on the show to announce that you
were going to play the Ryman. Now it's the week
of happening Friday. Is it still surreal and like crazy
to think about?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
So surreal? Dude?
Speaker 8 (05:17):
You guys are basically part of the band at this point.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
We are part of the band. You're part of everyon
now fans, I want to play the Triangle?
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Do you say easy and done?
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Hear this man play the Triangle and you'll never want
him to do it again because it's so good?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Is that just?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
And this is my audition you're in.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
You don't want this, You don't want this at all.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
So the Rymond Friday Night, What can we expect from
the show because both Zach and I are going to
be there.
Speaker 8 (05:48):
Well, we can't give away all the secrets, but it's
going to be a blast. But there are secrets, maybe
at least one secret, so a special a special guest.
Maybe maybe not.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
The Backstray boys are joy.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Maybe the secret is that you're going to play Triangle
on the secret anymore. Okay, obviously I don't want you
guys to give it away because we need to be
surprised and we're excited for this. But after the show,
do you guys have anything planned because I've seen on
social media that you guys kind of do things with
your fans that are waiting for you outside.
Speaker 8 (06:17):
Yeah, well that was one of the surprises, so I guess,
oh wow.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Sorry to ruin the surprise. But what do you guys
plan to do with can you tell.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
Us that much?
Speaker 8 (06:27):
We just want to shut down Broadway have a little
like post show acoustic party thing in the parking lot.
So that's that's one of our I guess, not surprise anymore.
But yeah, we are going to try and do that.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I don't like the way you're saying trying. You're going to. Yeah,
we're going to. We're going to for sure, Yeah you're
going to.
Speaker 8 (06:43):
We just kind of open up the trailer, like bring
out the acoustic you know, guitars, and play some songs
that we didn't get to play in the set, and
just hang and meet people. So yeah, we're going to
do that.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
Okay, shut down Broadway. I like the idea of that.
Speaker 8 (06:55):
Yeah, just sounds fun right and.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
Devious and anything that's devious, I'm in for it. I'm
one hundred percent in for shutting down Broadway and making
like a commotion.
Speaker 8 (07:04):
Yeah. No, dude, we're so excited. I mean, we we
love Nashville, and every time we play here it just
feels like the biggest show of the tour, even if
it's not physically, and so now for it to physically
be the biggest show, I mean, I don't know. I
feel like I'm not even just mentally prepared for for
the Snipers.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Are you gonna cry?
Speaker 8 (07:22):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
I'm not usually a crier.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Okay, if you guys don't cry, I'll probably cry because
I cry everything, and from you know, River on the
rooftop and playing smaller shows to playing the.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Ryeman, we've kind of been there for like a lot
of it.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
We blow up. Yeah, this is huge, So is real.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
I'll be in the crowd crying myself like a proud mom.
Speaker 8 (07:43):
Yeah, we'll have to get you some. We actually just
got to see the hat show.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
I saw they look sick.
Speaker 8 (07:48):
Yeah, so there's gonna be some at the show, but
we'll make sure to get you. They're really sick and
they only made like one hundred of them, and I'm like, bro,
I want I kind of want all one hundred of them.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
I understandable. Yeah, we'll get y'all.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
I have your guys poster and from the last tour
the piece of like newspaper up on my desk, so
I'll add it there to be a nightly shrine by.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
That's kind of creepy, but okay, that's creepy.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
And there's still tickets to the show, right Like, people
still get tickets.
Speaker 8 (08:17):
Yeah, there are some tickets still left, So if you
don't have them, then you should get them now because
they won't be there for long.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
You have to get the tickets because I'm telling you
it's going to be quite the show. We know the
big surprise at the end, so you're gonna want to
be there for that too.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
You can't get a date, that's one of the surprises,
right true. And we playing the triangle, Oh.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
God, we're not doing this. Okay, thank you guys so much.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
That concludes our entire conversation because Zach will keep playing
that for the next twenty minutes if we don't stop
it here. So thank you guys so much for stopping by.
Get your tickets to Nightly. You're not gonna want to
miss it Friday night at the Ryeman. I'm so excited
for you, guys, Zach, so excited for you guys.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
The way this has been on my calendar for weeks
at this point that I've been looking forward to it,
so we're so pumped.
Speaker 8 (09:00):
Thank you, guys. Man y'all have been the absolute best
and so supportive. So thank you, guys.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning on the River.
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Good morning, and thank you for starting your Wednesday morning
with us. Right now, Ricky Sanchez has the three things
you need to know.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
The three actors who will play the main trio in
a Harry Potter TV show has been announced. Alistair Stout
is going to play Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton will be Hermione,
and Dominic McLaughlin is going to.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
Be Harry Potter himself.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
You probably don't know any of these names, and that's okay.
Each of them are fairly new to the acting realm
that the casting team sifted through tens of thousands of
hopefuls in order to get the right pick, so they're
really feeling confident in these guys. I'm feeling very confident
in these guys. We're not going to see, you know,
what they have to offer until.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
Late next year, early twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
They don't have an actual specific release date, but they're
saying that's the kind of game plan is late twenty
twenty six, early twenty twenty seven, So I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I just slipped up the cast and they do look
very similar.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
They I'm very excited to see what they have to
offer for sure, and also just to see, you know,
how the TV show of this goes.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yeah, I'm intrigued.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Keep you updated on specific dates as we get closer
to that. The Devil Worst Product two is coming out
May first of next year. This is kind of crazy
because they have a premier date even though none of
the original actors have officially signed on for it yet,
at least as far as we know.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
So reports are.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Saying that the sequel is going to follow uh Meryl
Streep's Miranda Priestley as she navigates her career amid the
decline of traditional magazine publishing, So there's going to be
a face off between her and Emily Blunt's character. Let's
see how it goes. Let's see who signs on to
do this. I'm hoping everybody comes back. Obviously, it's just
(10:50):
never the same the second time around if they don't
have the original cast.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
So fingers crossed.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
You find out some news about that soon. But the
release date is going to be May first of next year.
And Mills Mall is getting three new spots this summer.
Corrito it's a fast casual restaurant that serves custom bowls, salads,
and raps um. There's also on the retail side going
to be fashion brand Pono and Sports where realtor realtor
for retailer. I can't read this morning JD's Sports are
(11:19):
both going to open new storefronts. We don't have specific
dates on there. It all just says coming soon. We
know it'll be sometime this summer that you can check
out these new spots.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
I'm Rick Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
And Menno in the morning on.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
It's one O seven five the River and Zach's got
a fact just for you.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
I sure do did you know that a lightning bolt
is five times hotter than the surface of the sun.
Who so, a single charge carried by a bolt of
lightning is so intense that it has a temperature of
fifty four thousand degrees fahrenheit.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
I don't even know how to comprehend that.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I don't either, and I'm just like, how do people
survive being shocked by light?
Speaker 5 (11:59):
That's what I was us about to say, how do
they survive?
Speaker 3 (12:02):
It's digit four thousand degrees?
Speaker 5 (12:04):
That's wild?
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yep, And there's your fact of the day.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
All right, thanks, Zach, that one's a really good one
to let you.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Have this one.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on one seven
five the River.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
I need your help because my fiance and I are
constantly at odds over this.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
How do you load your dishwasher?
Speaker 3 (12:23):
You could have just stopped with uneed your help.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
It's one O seven five the River.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
Whirlpool put out an entire list of exactly how you're
soused to load it.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
I have one way I like to do it. He
has another. I want to know how you do it.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
We're gonna chat about it. If you want to join the conversation.
Call us right now at six one five seven, three
seven nine.
Speaker 7 (12:41):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
and Meno in the morning, one seven five the River.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Gina and Nashville, Welcome to one O seven five the River.
Tell us your number one rule when it comes to
loading your dishwasher?
Speaker 6 (12:53):
Well, can I give you my rule for unloading it?
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (12:56):
I mean that might help my fiance and I, who
are constantly at odds about anything that has to do
with the dishwasher.
Speaker 6 (13:03):
Well, my husband and I r too, so he quit.
He quit unloading and loading it.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
So, yeah, you guys, you just do all this because
he never does.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
It, right, I mean fair enough. So what is your
rule about unloading the dishwasher?
Speaker 6 (13:16):
You always unload the bottom rack first, the middle rack neck,
and then the top where all the like stuff that
holds water. It is always last.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Okay, you have three racks inside your dishwasher.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
You have a nice one, Gina.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
Yeah, we have a tiny little one at the top
where you can put like Liz and.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
Exactly what you're talking about. Those are so nice.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
And there's only one way to unload it.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
I can say that, like I do that subconsciously without
even realizing that that would be the right way.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
To do it.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
But it's, like you said, because things fill up with
water sometimes, so if you start from the bottom, just
kind of like dumping things out. If you start from
the top, then you're dumping over the ones that are
below it, and then it's all mess exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Gina is very proud of herself right now. She's like, yes,
I am right, honey.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Well, her husband thinks she's wrong, so she feels great.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
It's it's it's my way about that. But you know,
I'll I'll make compromises about other stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I feel like your
husband gets the long the long stick of this situation
because he doesn't have to do dishes like the short stick.
Like you pulled the short stick.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
It's not a just thing made up a freeze and
I love it.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Well anyways, he gets the benefit of not having to
do the dishes.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Facts.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Yes, that's right, that's right, Gina.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
Thank you so much for calling in today. We hope
you have a great day.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
Okay, you guys are great. Thank you, bye bye bye.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Zach and Menno in the morning, the River.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Welcome to one oh seven five the River Kensington in Bellevue.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
I love that name.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
It's very pretty.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Are you calling because you don't pre rinse your dishes though,
before you put them in the dishwasher.
Speaker 9 (15:01):
I do prerance and I've gotten in trouble for it
my entire life.
Speaker 8 (15:05):
But there's a science behind it.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
And because I researched it to defend myself.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Oh my god, stop, you have actual research.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
No, there is actual science behind it. Please inform Ricky.
So you it has so barely have something to grab
onto to clean it properly, and that's why you're not.
Speaker 10 (15:24):
Activating it properly.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
No way.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
I have read that that you're supposed to leave something
on the dish so that it has something to attach
to so it can actually clean and activate properly. I've
read that I stilled pre.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Rent Kensington that just like, I don't know if I
can wrap my head around it and stop doing what
I've been doing my whole life.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
Though I know it feels wrong.
Speaker 10 (15:43):
I'm not gonna so many arguments now, my boyfriend, I'm like, no,
you have to like otherwise there's nothing to grip to
you and to get clean.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Okay, I'm gonna try it one singular time. Oh my god,
just saying that gave me like, chill me down.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
It's up my back. I'm gonna try it one time,
and I'm going to see how it goes. I'm scared.
Thank you for calling in. We appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Absolutely have a great Dayla Mark by Kayleie and Nolansville.
Do you not pre rense your dishes before you put
them in the dishwasher?
Speaker 9 (16:15):
I don't pre rent my dishes, but I have a
judge reason.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Okay, I want to hear your reason. Kensington just gave
us her reason why she doesn't pre rent, so you're
not alone, Kaylee.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Why don't you do it?
Speaker 8 (16:25):
So?
Speaker 9 (16:25):
I saw a video of a dishwasher technician and she
said that if you prerench your dishes yours, dishwasher won't
work as hard to clean them because they can tell
that they're not as dirty.
Speaker 5 (16:39):
How can they tell that, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (16:42):
Apparently there's like a sensor in the dishwasher that like
determines how.
Speaker 6 (16:45):
Dirty they are.
Speaker 9 (16:46):
Okay, but also I don't because I want it to
work super hard.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
But with that logic, you want it to work really hard.
I feel like then your dishwasher is going to go
out quicker if it's working harder every day.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
See, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (16:58):
I was just listening to the technician because you know,
they fix them. I was like, you know what, you
you have the certifications.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
I mean they are their professionals, not.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Exactly.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
I was like, I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Yeah, just trying to have clean dishes at the end
of the day.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Well, Kayleie, thank you for calling. We appreciate you. I'm
still a little bit freaked out by this.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Not gonna lie, I understand it's okay, have a great day.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Well, you can try it once and tell me how
it goes, because I'm not.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
Going to I have to, like a scientific experiment. I
just need to know if it actually works.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Still, go for a sister or poor back.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
Don't you worry.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Fricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
On one O seven five of the River, We're about
to play topical trivia for the game of the day.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
Kevin's not here, but Zach and I are holding down
the fort.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Kevin is not here. No need to fear. Did you
like that? Actually? Like that?
Speaker 4 (17:57):
We got Tyler and Dixon on the line. They're up
for kids Bop tickets. They're going to be at first
Big Amphitheater in Franklin June twenty ninth.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
If you get two out of three, right, you're going.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
Let's say I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
All right, let's put your knowledge to the test, Tyler.
Topical trivia starts right now. First question, name one of
the two people who have been announced to be on
the new Dancing with the Stars season.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Oh, I have no idea, Tyler.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
That's okay, that's okay. You got to get two out
of three, so the first one you flopped. The answers
were Alex Earl or Robert Erwin, Steve Irwin's son.
Speaker 6 (18:31):
Oh wow, you know it's okay. I thought I was
up to date.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
That's okay, that's okay. You ready for your next question?
Speaker 10 (18:37):
Of course?
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Next question is who recently performed at the AMA's and
flipped on stage?
Speaker 11 (18:43):
This person is known for their flipping on stage all
the time on stage.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Next, yeah, yeah, he's literally known for flipping all over
the stages. All right, Tyler, you've gotten one. You've gotten one, right,
so you got to get this. That's one right to win.
Last question, is President Trump just pardon? Which two former
reality TV stars?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Well?
Speaker 6 (19:07):
Is it the is it the brothers?
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Not brothers, it's a family though.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Please it is Todd and Julie chrisly just got a
pardon yesterday and they are former reality TV stars.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
All right, Tala, You're going to see Kids Bop Live
June twenty ninth at First Bank Amphitheater in Franklin.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
Oh my god, that is so odd. We thank you
guys so much.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
You're so well.
Speaker 5 (19:30):
Congrats. We're gonna put you on the hold real quick
to get your info. Okay, okay, all right, perfect, hang on.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning River. Three things
you need to know.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Well, good morning and happy Wednesday. Can you believe we're
already halfway through the week. How exciting You're.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
So happy about that?
Speaker 3 (19:52):
I am smiley here here. Thank you so much for
joining us this morning. Right now, Ricky Sanchez has us
three things that you need to know.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
Teddy Swims just broke a record. His song lose control
this week made it to ninety two weeks on the
Billboard Hot one hundred, which surpasses the Run of Glass Animals.
Speaker 5 (20:08):
Heat Waves, which had ninety one weeks on the chart.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
That's my run of applause.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
It also had a record sixty three weeks in the
Hot one hundred's top ten. So congrats to him. That's
a huge feat, big deal right there. And obviously we
love the song.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
We love his voice.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
It's something just so unique about him.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
These are the color swimsuits your kids should be wearing
in the pool to avoid any safety.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
Concerns or issues.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Some colors are much easier to see underwater, while others
are basically invisible, which makes it harder to save a
child where like when there's an emergency. So a Steady
tested swimsuit color visibility in pools and open water and
found the best colors visibility are bright ones, so think
neon yellow, neon green, neon orange. It's easy for lifeguards
to see those colors better in water. You don't want
(20:53):
to do anything that's like blue because that lends in
You want to stick with neon colors, or even if
it's just like neon print on it.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Would probably help as well, But you.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Want to think about the safety of kids while they're swimming,
especially if they're you know, you go on vacation, you
go into the beach, you go in the ocean. You
want to make sure that God forbid just in case
they're easily found. And Nashville has ranked one of the
happiest cities in the world. So nashal has earned a
spot on the twenty twenty five Happy City Index, ranking
ninety six out of two hundred cities worldwide.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
It's the first time.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
That we've made the list, and it's in the silver
category alongside cities like San Diego, Seattle, and San Antonio
in the US. And if you're wondering what goes into
these rankings, I'll let you know. They're based on six
key factors citizens, governance, environment, economy, health, and mobility. The
city scored seven hundred and eighteen points overall, which is
(21:48):
pretty solid compared to Copenhagen's because Copenhagen is number one
on the list of one thirty nine points, so.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
We're doing pretty well. Amriqui Sanchez, and those are the
three things I need to know.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning on River class
is now in session on one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 5 (22:09):
You are currently in Adulting one oh one.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Welcome to it.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
This is a class that apparently gen Z is signing
up for. They're trying to learn basic life skills like budgeting, cooking,
doing laundry, and navigating everyday responsibilities. This is apparently something
that gen Z is doing. So we have a few
ideas of what we think should be an adulting one
oh one.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Personally, I feel like doing your taxes should be an
adulting one on one.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Okay, along the same lines when it comes to money,
because you know, budgeting is a good one taxes. I
think investing, yes, like stocks and stuff like I wish
someone taught me how to actually invest my money, how
to do it.
Speaker 5 (22:48):
I think that's a great adulting one on one area.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
I also feel like adulting one on one should like
teach people how to pay things on time, like speeding
tickets or Zach some personal experience, renewing your driver's license,
like all of these things that are like mundane tasks
that you have to do as an adult. I feel
like they should be taught that. Yeah, like still to
the same. I'm like, what do I do? Do you
(23:11):
just show up at the DMV?
Speaker 5 (23:14):
Zach, I love you? So what if you need to
get like a driver's.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
License to renew your driver's license? Do I just show
up and say, Hey, Brenda, let's renew my driver's I'm Brenda.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
I'm here to renew my driver's license. And Brenda goes,
no problem.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Maybe, but there's so many different DMV places to him, like,
can you go to any of them? Is there a
specific one that you have to go to?
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (23:35):
Hey, I'm not judging, we're just thinking adulting one oh one.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Here, that's it in my mind, I was. I was
like picturing it a kind of like voting. When you vote,
there's a specific place that you have to go vote, Okay.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
I also feel like deep cleaning and the proper ways
to clean things yep, because I didn't know how to
clean a lot of things in my apartment or my house,
Like I had to learn how to do those things
on my own. The amount of YouTube videos I've watched
of like the proper ways to deep clean things.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
Yeah, and you don't want to ruin anything.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
And I was so nervous that, oh, my god, I'm
gonna put something on this that's going to completely destroy this.
And I rent, yeah, and I did not want to
pay for anything that I destroyed, but I wanted it
to be nice and clean.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
I've watched so many YouTube videos on cleaning.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
I just feel like we could go on and on
all day about things that they should have taught us.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
I know, adulting one O one. If you got something
to add, what should be taught in adulting one O one, six,
one five seven through seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Zach and Menno in the morning on the River you
see in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Good morning, welcome to one oh seven five the River.
What do you think should be taught in adulting one
O one.
Speaker 10 (24:40):
I think kids to be taught nowadays how to manage stress, yes,
and how to reach out to others and time, like
on financial difficulties. You know, like I feel like kids
nowadays results to like maybe uh, depression when it comes
to how to manage.
Speaker 6 (24:57):
So I think that's a good teaching U.
Speaker 10 (25:00):
Skill that adults need.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
I think a lot of us keep going back to
money because no one actually taught anyone how.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
To do anything with their money.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
So when it comes to financial stress, it's there for
everybody and we don't know how to communicate that exactly.
Speaker 10 (25:12):
So how to manage stress under those difficult financial situations
is a game Changerly, I think that would have been
a game changer for me.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
I think it's brilliant. Ricky and I were just talking
off the air of like communication. We wish that everybody
went through like communication classes, and I think this is
what it boils down to, like how do I manage
stress instead of like holding it all in?
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Yeah, yeah, tudo to the psychologist.
Speaker 10 (25:37):
But that needs to be like a skill on how
do we deal with life skills?
Speaker 5 (25:42):
Yeah, no, I love it, Stacy, thank you so much
for calling in. Thank you guys, have a good day off.
That was like a two for communication and how to
manage debt.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
I know, I love it.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Christopher in Nashville, what do you believe should be taught
in adulting?
Speaker 5 (25:56):
One oh one?
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Self care?
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Okay, that's a good one.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
And what do you mean specifically by that everybody's two
people sleeping and take care of everybody else and not theirself.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
Then you deteriorate yourself if you don't take care of yourself.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
I one hundred percent agree with you. I think it
takes all of us a long time to realize, like, Hi,
there's only room for one person in the casket at
one point. At some point, I have to focus on me,
the person that's there.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Correct.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Self care is a good one. I agree. We feel
very guilty about taking care of ourselves. But self care
is so important. Whether it's even just like a nap.
You know, you're just freaking tired and just taking a nap.
Being able to be okay with taking some time for
yourself is so hard for so many of us.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
So that's a great one. Christopher, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Thank you bye friend. I hope you get a nap
in today. Take care of yourself.
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Yeah, thanks, thanks for being a part of our morning Ricky,
Zach and Menno in the morning on.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
The River, it's time for the daily double tap on
one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 5 (26:54):
And this one is hilarious.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
If you remember the song Stacy's Mom, you're gonna love this.
Speaker 11 (27:00):
Like response to this song was such a bomb, probas
so good.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Stacy's So that was a huge song when it came out.
This is now a response to the song. As a
thirty three year old man here in the Year of
Our Lord and Savior twenty twenty five, I have so.
Speaker 12 (27:33):
Many questions now for Stacy's mom. Yeah, Stacy's mom, like,
why did she come out with just a.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Towel towel.
Speaker 13 (27:49):
When she knew that he was going mow her grass?
Speaker 3 (27:54):
She knew know her grass.
Speaker 13 (27:58):
Stacy's mom is like, the people will press and.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
That's the tea we'll.
Speaker 13 (28:05):
Catch, and growing up it was a fantasy, but it's
a little different now then I'm thirty.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
Three Stacy's.
Speaker 12 (28:19):
He's if he is so wrong Stacy, see it's gonna
be a belly.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
I know it's just a song, but something's wrong with Stacy.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
It's so good, very clever. I love that he did
a response to this because he's right now. When you
listen back to that song, like it's nostalgic, so you
sing along to it, but you're like, this is actually
really messed up.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
This whole situation is very icky.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
It's pretty creepy. If you want to see the entire video,
I love his response, follow us on Instagram. It is
at one O seven five the River on Instagram. If
you want to see the video, we're gonna post it
in our Instagram story so that you can see it.
