Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, here we go starting this Wednesday. It's a
beautiful one Ricky Sanchez has with three things.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Alex Warren got himself his first number one on the
Hot one hundred. His song Ordinary, which you've definitely heard
us play on one O seven five of the River,
peaked at number two for a few weeks, but as
of this week it hit number one. He's the first
male soloist to get an initial Hot one hundred number
one this year, so big congrats to him. He's got
a new album, You'll Be all Right, Kid, coming out
(00:28):
July eighteenth. He just announced that yesterday. It's got twenty
one songs on it. So here's tino a few more
number ones. Congrats to Alex Warren. New Jeopardy and Wheel
of Fortune episodes are soon going to stream for the
first time, so episodes will be available on streaming services
the day after they air when they do the next
season of both of these shows. This would be the
(00:49):
first time ever that in season episodes will hit streaming.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Services the next day, so this is a new thing.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Obviously very exciting for people who just love to sit
and watch them kind of repeat and repeat and repeat.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Because then you could sit and just watch them forever.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Did you ever have a phase of your life where
like you had to be home in front of the
TV at seven and seven thirty to watch Wheel, Fortune
and Jeopardy.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
That missed my time frame.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
But you will be able to watch them as they've
reached deals with Peacock Hulu and Hulu on Disney Plus,
so that's where you can watch them. And Starwood Amphitheater
might be getting a little bit of a revamp. New
mixed use project is proposed for that area residential retail,
restaurant space. There's gonna be a dog area and outdoor.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Space as well. There will be a tribute trail that.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Honors the venues past if this actually happens as well,
which I think is very nice. As we've learned from
doing topics here on Ricky Zachamana in the morning, people
really think fondly of Starwood Amphitheater.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I mentioned the good old days a minute ago, and
then yeah, people talk about that place like I don't know,
they just they miss that venue so much.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
It closed in two thousand and seven.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Nothing is concrete just yet about you know, if this
is really going to happen, so I will keep you
updated about anything that happens.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
But that property has gone on you since two thousand
and seven, so you know, it might be nice to
have something new.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
And I think it's great if they're gonna give a
tribute trail honoring you know, the venues pass and the
history that that venue has in the you know, attachment
that people have to it as well.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
I'm Marique Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Let's play Chapel Rouners pick a pony club in about
twelve minutes, we'll ask get a call.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
First caller the day, all week long gets tickets to
see Lowly.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Young One the River, Heiky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Big morning, Bailey and Gallatin. Hi, good morning, how are
you guys?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
We are so good. The weather's been nice, so I
am happy as can be.
Speaker 6 (02:44):
Yes, it's finally warming up in the rains moving.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Out hopefully, well it's coming back in I think starting tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
But for these few days we're happy.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
We're embracing it.
Speaker 7 (02:54):
Bailey, I have an odd question for you. You have
a very nice sounding voice. Do you work and like telemarketing?
Are like on the phone.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
I don't, but I have been told that before.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Who I feel like if.
Speaker 7 (03:05):
I called customer service and you answered, I would be
so excited I would chat with you all day long.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Have you heard that like your entire life or just recently?
Have you ever thought about doing anything in the vocal space.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
It's been a few years.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
I've heard that people have told me I should be
a yoga instructor and such.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
But I haven't thought about doing anything like that.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
What do you do for work?
Speaker 7 (03:26):
I'm a financial investigator.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Investigator, so investigating insurance and security investments.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Like investigating for fraud or.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
It could be any kind of like wrongdoing from the ancients.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
Oh, this sounds fun.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I think Zach thinks it sounds fun because it's it's
got to do with secrets and comes to your secret
take them down.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, it's a lot more.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
It's not as interesting as it sounds. Do you ever
have to deal with the you know, the do you
have to like come face to face and confront people?
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Ever?
Speaker 8 (04:03):
Yees?
Speaker 7 (04:03):
Oh my gosh, I want like a security cam footage
of your day.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
That sounds so funny. It's like you're on cheaters and
when they like confront them.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
If only it was that exciting.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Bailey is really Bailey's really trying to make sure that
you know, you don't get too pumped about this, even
though it does sound exciting.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I have more exciting news for you, Bailey.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
You're the first caller of the day on one of
seven five the River.
Speaker 9 (04:29):
Oh that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
I'm so excited. You're gonna get tickets to see the
Little Young She's playing the Pinnacle on November eleventh.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
Awesome. I can't wait this year.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
It's gonna be a great show. Bailey, thank you for
waking up with us. We really do appreciate that. We
hope you have a great day today. Yes, thank you all,
and I hope you do as well.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
And stay far far away from my taxes.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Don't as well.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Hang on the line, Love, You do your.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
Own taxes, my mom does.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
And do you think she's fudging the numbers a bit?
Speaker 6 (04:55):
I have no idea. I oh, that's what.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
You would say if.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
She was fudging the numbers.
Speaker 7 (05:00):
Yeah, I give her my W two And I say here,
because this is what I think they should teach you
in high school, is how to do taxes.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
I don't know how to adult so I don't.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Even know how easy.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Actually, you just input all of the things they ask
you for, like this line and this number, and you
just put it in.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
Well, thank you mother for dealing with that, Ricky Zach
And in the morning.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Have you ever done something that you can't stop thinking
about for days later?
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Like something bad?
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Oh yeah, something that you should not have done, and
you can't stop thinking about it. It keeps you up at night.
That is where I'm at right now. I did something
Friday that has bothered me ever since. And it was
something bad, something well I guess like not terrible but
not great, regrettable. Yeah, I regret it, okay, And I
can't stop thinking about it?
Speaker 2 (05:49):
What they and then you tell us okay, yeah, all right,
right it for sports caw.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
We'll figure out what's been haunting Ricky since the weekend?
Speaker 5 (05:57):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning seven five.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Ricky mentioned a second ago that she did something this
weekend that's been haunting wherever since.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah, Like you know, when you just do something that
you didn't mean to do and then you can't stop
thinking about it, you stay up at night thinking about it.
For me, it's okay, so it wasn't necessarily an awkward
thing for me or like a terrible thing. It was
a mistake, but it's haunting me. Friday night we went
to uh Sea Nightly they played The Ryman, and we
(06:27):
were so excited to be there. The end of the
show came. I was pumped, I was screaming, I was yelling.
I went to start clapping. So I put my drink
that I had. I had red wine in my mouth.
You know you can hold like the cup with your teeth, yeah,
So I went to do that, and when I went
to transfer it back into my hand, I dropped it.
(06:49):
But because the Ryman is like so tight, when I
dropped it, it fell into the pew of where somebody
was sitting in front of me and splashed everywhere, red
wine all over the place like it got all over me,
it got all over her, It got all over the
person next her, It got on my laboo boo, it
got everywhere. I felt horrible. I said sorry like six times. Obviously,
(07:14):
there's nothing you do at that point because it already
happened and it's the end of the show. But I
said sorry so many times, and I still feel so
bad about it.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Though I can't sleep at night.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
I feel like red wine is also I'm just gonna
make it worse. Red wine is also one of the
hardest things to get out. So you should have offered
to buy her a new outfit. What you ruined her,
whether it be her skirt, something, some cash, some do
you guys got made of money?
Speaker 6 (07:42):
Well, you shouldn't have ruined her outfit?
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Would you?
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Guys?
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Are acting like my red wine and splashed it on
a random.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Girl to see what would happen. It was a mistake.
I didn't mean to. It just happened, and I felt
terrible about it.
Speaker 7 (07:58):
Sometimes you should be punished for your miss stakes, Ricky,
and I think you should pay for something that for her.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
I'm gonna remember this next time you mess up for
you specifically, Okay, let's think.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Let's put yourself in her shoes.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Okay, you're at this nightly show, you're having a great time,
it's been a perfect evening, and then somebody behind you
gets red wine all over you.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
What would you Yeah, I would feel I would be like,
oh wow, that sucks. Also, it's a concert. I've had
many things ruined at concerts. It's kind of just what happens.
When you're out with a bunch of people. I would
be upset, but there's nothing.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
I would you expect anything from that person just to
give you a hard time and make you feel worse
about it, terrible.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
So much, but you had no obligation. I'm as long
as you apologize. I think that's all that.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
I told you both that I've been up at night
thinking about this, and you both went, this is a
great opportunity for us to.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Make it work.
Speaker 6 (08:49):
We had to attack.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Thank you so much for nothing.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I think you're fine.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
I think I'm absolving you of all guilt here because
you have now you apologized profusely, you felt bad about it.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
I think you can let this one go the way.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I'm going to think about it all day again today
because you guys just made me feel so terrible.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
A reverse course here, tell you.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Reversing now it's too late.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Did you at least get like her phone number Instagram?
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Any get her phone number Instagram?
Speaker 6 (09:14):
You are an awful human.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
If you did this, you would have been like whoops
and ran away.
Speaker 7 (09:20):
I would have laid on the floor and lay dead.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
You owe me for that red wine. Yeah, I think
my red wine into your jacket you owe me.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I don't want to hear you. I don't want to
hear anything from you right now.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Fine, whatever, three things you need to Hello, good to
see it, Thanks for being here.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
You look great. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
We got more details about what Sabrina Carpenter's been teasing.
I am excited to say, just coming out with a
new song. It's called Manchild. It's gonna be out tomorrow
at eight pm Eastern, so seven pm our time. She
posted the announcement with a caption quote, this one's about you.
So it's about to get messy and I'm very excited
about it. So Manchild out tomorrow. Can't wait to hear it.

advantage of it and go try out. June six, all
the info on their website and snack wraps are back.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Everyone's pumped about this.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I'm Urcky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
I've been vegetarian for like over ten years now, but
man I used to get down with some snack rafts.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yeah, yeah, just thinking back to those days.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Yeah, I loved them. Glad they're coming back for a
new generation.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Let's play shaboozy. Thank you for that, Ricky. Right after
good news, wake up Zach Army. He's standing by with
a fact, Zack's Facts. They're out there next other.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
The River Za Spas on one of seven five of
the river you.
Speaker 6 (11:21):
Guys, this fact is so cool.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
But it snows metal on Venus, like shards of metal.
So the the snow is not water based like it
is on Earth, but it consists of metal compounds. So
like there are mountains on Venus kind of like in
the mountains here, huh, where it snows on the little
tippy tops on Venus. It snows like metal compounds and
not water.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
It's weird they still call it snow like and not you.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Know, that's true. We should think of a new name.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Metal.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
It's falling metal, it's metaling, it's so metal.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
Yeah, there's your factor of the.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Day, exactly one.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
It's back. We've done this before and it's back. Zach
is gonna give out nickname.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
I mean, are you sure you're ready for this? I
feel like this always takes a lot out of you.
This requires a lot of brain power. I know you
went out last night.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
I feel overly confident today.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Okay, all right, I'm a little more frightened.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
So the way that this works is Zach is the
resident nickname giver. He gives everybody nicknames. Everybody in this
office has a nickname. Everyone He knows, has a.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Name, names our plans, he names cars, everything.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
So what you need to do is call us, give
us your name and one fact about you.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
That's it, nothing more.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
He's gonna use that information to give you your new nickname.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
I'm in, I'm ready.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
It's always going really well when we've done this before.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yeah, questionable, Yeah, some have been definitely yes if you
enjoy the nickname. There's one time where he just said
random things that didn't make sense.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
We'll see how six seven, three seven, nine seven. If
you want a nickname from Zach, call us right now.
It's Jablon on the river, Ricky, Zach.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
And Menno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Zach is the resident nickname giver. He gives everybody nicknames
in the office. Everyone he knows has a nickname. So
every so often we do this fun little game where
you give your name, one fact about you, and Zach
gives you your new nickname.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I just want to say you are Rakeeita Banunu named
keV Diggy. And now we have Stacy and Smyrna on
the line. Good morning, Stacy, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
All right, Stacy, we need one fact about you.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
We know your name, now we need a fact about you,
and Zach's gonna give you a new nickname.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
I do one thousand piece chicksaw puzzles every weekend.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Oh my gosh, that's cool, every.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Weekend, every weekend.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Your brain.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
I feel like this one was a softball given to me. Okay, Zach,
what Stacy's the stace Master. That's what I feel like
I would call you.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
She's She's the puzzle master. She does it every weekend,
thousand piece puzzle. Her name is Stacy, the stace Master.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
The State Master.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I like it.
Speaker 9 (14:00):
Okay, you, I'm by Stacy, Kara and Gallatin.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
We need one fun fact about you and then Zach
will give you a nickname on par with the station Master.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Go ahead, Okay, one fun fact.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Let's see, I'm deathly afraid of but I love sky diving.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Oh he's thinking.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
He's got a very specific face happening right now, where
he's really really thinking, Like.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
If you have ever seen a movie like when like
a ghost jumps into a body and they're like possessed,
Like he's he's not even here with us right now.
Speaker 7 (14:40):
Underwhelmed by this. But it just is the first thing
that came to my head.
Speaker 6 (14:43):
Okay, it's not even based off.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
Your fear of anything. It's just your name. In general,
it's just care Bear, Kara bear.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
It is all.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yes, everybody calls me care Bear.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Well, not need to come up with a new one.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
I want to be unique.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Care Bear is cute. Go ahead, I think you have
one more in uzach, I trust you. Did they give
you something?
Speaker 4 (15:06):
The care Devil?
Speaker 5 (15:08):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Because she likes the skydive?
Speaker 7 (15:11):
I like it, like the daredevil, the care Devil. I
haven't even look convinced right now.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
I like it. I like it.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
That sounds good.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I actually have a bird on my back that has
a little devil horns.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
Oh my god, it's like I already know you care devil.
Speaker 8 (15:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Right, I'm glad we got there that.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I was disappointed with care Bear, but I'm so glad
that we found our way to care devil.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Okay, Kevin, you know every little care Bear has a
little devil in her.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Yeah, leaving with a slogan.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Thanks for calling in love. We have a great day.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Thank you too.
Speaker 7 (15:47):
By Do you have more in usac Yeah, I'm knocking
these out of the park.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
I'm feeling good to.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Just getting warmed up.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Yeah, it's truly on cloud dive right now.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
So if you need a new nickname, or maybe don't
need one, SMALLT one, six, one, five, seven through seven, Ricky,
zach And.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
And Dixon, welcome to the show.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
We need to know one fun fact about you, and
then a new name will be bestowed upon here.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Okay, I'm excited. I kind of came up with a
weird one.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I love to neft my cat.
Speaker 7 (16:23):
Oh you love to do what to your cat?
Speaker 8 (16:27):
Him? Him?
Speaker 7 (16:29):
Have you ever been on my string? I feel like
we're like watching an episode of my strange addiction.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
I've never thought about that. Maybe I should call him
up too.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Yeah, next phone call.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Zach is just sat back in his chair. He's looking
off into the distance. He's pondering. His hands are clasped together.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
And they're sweating.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I think you, like you kind of stumped him here,
like this is this is a good one.
Speaker 7 (16:55):
I feel like if you told me that fact, I
would just always call you now, Like if I saw
you in the office and we worked together, and like
saw you at the lunch, I'll be like, hey, yeah, okay,
I like my cat's name is Malcolm and I do
call him me Olcome.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Oh, that's really cute.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
It is cute.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
I feel like that's all I got is I would
just call you now.
Speaker 5 (17:16):
I'm fine with that.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I was gonna say, I think it's a weird enough
nickname for the weird enough facts.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
That I agree. Welld me out. Thank you for calling.
We appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Thank you, guy by love.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Go huff that cat, Patrick and Murphy's Burrow. Welcome to
the river. We need to know one fun fact about you.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
One fun fact.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
I moved here yesterday from Memphick.
Speaker 1 (17:40):

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Oh yeah, okay, family. Now you got two facts family man.
And he just moved here yesterday and.
Speaker 4 (17:49):

whole way up here.
Speaker 7 (17:55):
Well, okay, Patrick, I feel like you me a description
of what you look like.
Speaker 6 (18:01):

Speaker 7 (18:06):
Oh, tall, dark and handsome. I feel like I have

in the I keep picturing like people in the office
when I'm like passing them in the Hallway, Like what
would I call them?
Speaker 6 (18:20):
And I'm like, oh hey, Patty Cake, good morning, Patty Cake.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
I think that's a good one. I love it.
Speaker 6 (18:26):

Speaker 4 (18:28):

Speaker 6 (18:29):

Speaker 7 (18:31):

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Did someone pay him to say all of that?
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Like?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
How did he find this one day after being here
and saying I love you?
Speaker 7 (18:52):
Like this is moving quickly in a relationship with you,
we love.
Speaker 6 (18:58):

It's been good.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
There's an audio clue and again I said this on Monday.
They're gonna get progressively harder over the course of the week.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Monday, Monday was pretty easy, yesterday a little harder. Today
I think is pretty hard.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah that today I couldn't guess two of them.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Yeah, we're gonna play it for you here. Make sure
you're listening to all three of these clips.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
You have to tell us the movie that these songs
are associated with.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Three different songs, three different movies. That's your job.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
So when you know it six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven, here we go, today's audio clue.
Speaker 8 (19:53):
That's a power all.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Right, there you go.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
I only know the last one. Yeah, I don't know
the other one.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Six one, five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven,
three movies. You have to correctly identify all three if
you can do. With these tickets to see Leave at
Bridgestone in October are yours?
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Rick you want to say it?
Speaker 3 (20:21):
It's game time, baby, you said it?
Speaker 5 (20:25):
One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Meno
in the morning, Kevin Mano's game of the day on
one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
We're playing movie tunes for tickets to see Leave when
she plays Bridgetone Arena on October thirteenth.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
I've been so annoyed.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
By this game because progressively it's gotten harder and harder.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Yeah, and I only know one of the answers this time.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I think once we reveal the uh, the correct answers today,
I think you'll say.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Oh, that's right.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
I hate when it happens.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Kevin, Jan and Murphy's Borough, good morning. Hey, what are
you doing.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
Driving to where?
Speaker 5 (20:56):
Well?
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I'm dropping that kid off and then to work. Okay,
I hope you both have a great day. We're gonna
give your audio clue one more time. Your job is
to identify the three movies that these three songs are
associated with.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
Jen.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
If you can do that, you win these lave tickets.
Here we go.
Speaker 8 (21:10):
That's all right, Jen, you heard him.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
Let us know what you think they are.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
Back to the Future, the Lego movie, and Rocky Dang, Jen, congrats,
thank you Rocky three.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
To be specific, I believe the song is written for
the soundtrack of Rocky three.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
But yeah, we'll take Rocky you win. Nice job, all right.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Honestly, that middle one, I haven't seen the Lego movie.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
I feel a little bit better now because that one
was really bothering me. Because it sounded like something I
should have known. Yeah, but I never watched the movie.
I feel better. Congrats Jen, You're going to see Leave
when she plays Bridge Jon Arena on October thirteenth.
Speaker 6 (21:58):
Awesome, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
You're so welcome. I'm hang on the line. Love to
Go Back to the Future.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Back to the Future is my number one all time
favorite movie.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I should have guessed that that's what it was from,
but no, I've also never seen that movie.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
I know we're going down a rabbit hole now, but
I just saw a story that the guitar Michael J.
Fox played in that movie is missing, and they're making
a movie, a documentary about this missing guitar, and like
the search to find it.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
I've never seen Kevin so worked out right now. The
veins are coming out of his neck. Three things.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Right here we go, just after eight o'clock on this
Wednesday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Post Alone is getting a bar on Broadway, located at
three h five Broadway. It's gonna be a huge entertainment
space that's gonna feature six bars, three stages, and a
full service dining room as well as a rooftop. The
building is undergoing construction to be remodeled right now. It's
part of TC Restaurant Groups Entities, and they said that
(22:55):
the historical architecture will be preserved and combined into the
new space.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
So all of this is really exciting stuff.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
I will keep you updated once all of the you know,
construction is done and when we can expect to go
check it out and see what it's all about.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
I'm hyped. I think this is a great addition to Broadway.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
In case you missed it, yesterday, we announced the iHeartRadio
Music Festival lineup.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
And it's pretty crazy.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
I mean Ed Sheeran, Tate mccraye, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne,
Plenty more.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Ryan Seacrest is going to be hosting the festival.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
It's happening at T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on
September nineteenth and twentieth.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
If you want to.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Go, pre sale starts next Wednesday, the eleventh, at ten
am Pacific.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
General on sale is Friday, June thirteenth.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
The full lineup is up on iHeartRadio's Instagram as well
as our websites, so you could see everybody that's going.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
To be there. It's a really good one. Fun here.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Ricky and I went last last year, just a weekend
in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
All those it's a great time.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
All those actually in the same festival. It's really it's
a great time.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
And the NHL's the Stanley Pop Cup and their competition
is coming back this year, first second year.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
So this is a bunch of rescue dogs that are
on TV.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
They all play against each other during the Stanley Cup Final.
All thirty two NHL teams will be represented by a
dog friend and it's going to be an hour long
special that you can watch. A bunch of them are
up for adoption at a shelter or rescue group that
is in the respective city that they're representing, so you
gotta watch see who's on there. This year, we have
(24:24):
for the National Preds Philip Furzeburg.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Okay, so you can watch that.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
It's gonna be aired multiple times, but one of the
times is going to be six pm Eastern, so five
pm here on True TV, and then June eighth they're
going to be replaying it on the NHL Network that night,
so you can watch it. Honestly, I love anything that
involves all the dogs when they do, like the little
games that they play and they're all dogs that need
to be adopted, and you should adopt dogs. Everybody's looking
(24:55):
for a little furry friend to add to their family.
It's just like unlike any o love, I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I mean, Ricky's ready to get another dog.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
I really do want another dog. We've been thinking about
it more and more.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Oh yeah, yeah, okay, we just don't know for one
hundred percent ready yet.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
You're never fully ready.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
Just do it.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
Hey, here's Lola Young.
Speaker 9 (25:15):
We have more tickets to see her tomorrow morning, six fifteen.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
You got to wake up early. First caller to day
all week gets us tickets on the River.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
One seven five The River, Ricky and Zach and.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
The River.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Good morning. It's the fourth day in June.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
You know, kids are out of school, they're out there
trying to make some extra money.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
We want to know what your summer job was when
you were younger.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
This was kind of inspired by a listener who had
called us this week and she was in the car
with her kid.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Her kid was going to work with her. She was
going to be paying her kid for how much work
he did.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah, so we were like, oh my gosh, yeah, I
remember summer jobs. What those were, like, we want to
hear all about yours. I had very interesting random jobs
for the summer. Give us one, like my first one
that started in the summer during high school was at
a rye cleaner. Like I had to work in the
heat of a dry cleaner through the summer where.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
It's hot as heck outside. There's no air conditioning or
anything like that.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
You just open up the doors in the windows and
that's the only way that you like survive. We did
not have a credit card machine because he did not
believe in paying for the credit card convenience fees. We
had to like swipe a piece of paper over it.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
I remember those things.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah, ky zach And I just mentioned her her summer
as what do you call it?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I just like worked at the dry cleaner.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
It was weird titles.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
I guess like cashier in a way. Yeah, it's kind
of like a little bit of both, because a dry
cleaner is just a very interesting place.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
Yeah, it is always hot.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
I hated how hot.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
It was, and I used to have to be there
so early in the morning every Saturday and Sunday.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
That awful, miserable.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
My worst summer job was selling knives for Cutco. That company,
if you guys are familiar with that at all. I
cannot say enough bad things about that company. I did
not like the business model. I hated everything about that job.
Speaker 7 (27:07):
I also don't know that I would feel comfortable with
like a teenager coming to trying to sell me.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Yeah. I was terrible at it.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
I was absolutely awful at I would have to do
this presentation, I'd have to cut up any kind of
phone for I don't know.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
It was awful.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
You don't give salesman vibes, No, no, no, Zach.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
What did you do during the summer to work?
Speaker 7 (27:26):
I will say my longest running one is that I
was a lifeguard at Wave Country, which is out by
oppery Land like Opperland Hotel.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
So I was a lifeguard there during.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
The sum is also frightening to me.
Speaker 5 (27:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:38):
I just diood at the top of the slide and
was like, all right, your turn to go.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
Would you say you were good at it or no?
Speaker 7 (27:42):
I mean I didn't have to do anything. I just
stood there and said, all right, you go.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
It was fun.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
And you said longest running How long were you a
lifeguard there?
Speaker 6 (27:49):
For two summers?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Okay? I thought you were going to say a month.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
Yeah, right, and they asked me to come back the
next year. What was the other job?
Speaker 6 (27:58):
My mom?
Speaker 7 (27:58):
She worked at a vet clinic for a very long time,
so during the summer we would have to go to
work with her and like work in the kennel room
with the dogs.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Okay, what does that entail?
Speaker 7 (28:08):
Walking them, playing with them? Oh cute, And every time
it would use the bathroom in the kennel, I would
make one of my other siblings clean it up because
I was not doing it.
Speaker 6 (28:15):
So I got to play with the dogs and take them.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
For a walk.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
That's not bad. Two of those are kind of on
this list here.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
I've got the top five summer jobs for teens dog
walker and lifeguard both on here.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Okay, so you check both of those off. Car washing
is another one. Golf caddy.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
I feel like that requires a certain level of knowledge
about golf though.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Why you walk?
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Yeah, you're supposed to, like help.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
If you were a caddy, I would die laughing because
if the person golfing asked for a specific club, you
would have no idea which one to pull out.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
That's why it needs a certain level of understanding.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Golf and then Babysitter is also on the list, which
is super.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
Yeah, I was a babysitter, Ricky, Zach and men.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
It's the river, it's time for the daily double tap,
and it's about one of our favorite dudes, Ed Sharon.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah, so Ed Sharon. He just came out with his
song Asizam.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
And there is a lot of ways that he can
prove this to you, but obviously using this song is
a really cool way to do this. How all types
of music are interconnected, so different genres, different cultures, everything
kind of comes together, and he uses his song to
show that to you. It's really cool as he's.
Speaker 8 (29:33):
Show me.
Speaker 9 (29:41):
Mind the world than thirty seconds.
Speaker 6 (30:01):
Yeah, Chinese Indian country music is.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Through everything, and there's probably more switches than you even
heard because you didn't even realize that he was switching
between different genres and different cultures.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
It's really really cool.
Speaker 6 (30:12):
I couldn't love him more.
Speaker 7 (30:13):
I was reading the comments and everybody was like, this
is music ed ucation, like education ed mucation.
Speaker 6 (30:20):
I liked it.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
You're really excited to say that.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
It's a better written joke than spoken joke. But we're
supposed to video if you want to see it up
in our Instagram.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Stories at one oh seven five the River, it's going
up there. His new album's out in September ye today
for he said, it's like a return to big pop
music Forum.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
We really cannot wait for it.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
One o seven Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning
