It's time for the news flash. It's rocking Robin's news flash. We're off
having a hot and humid Tuesday.I won a one point five. I'd
be a m I am sweat myyou know what. Off. Well,
we're in the basement, so thankfullyit's cooler here where Robin is, or
at least not right now. Butfor her morning show, Madison in the
morning, thirteen ten, wyb Am. He guys are upstairs. Sometimes it's

(00:23):
song is it? Well? Yeah, yeah, I named the building B
like b Arthur. I don't knowmenopausele well, it doesn't know. It's
hot, it's cold, it's awell for a little background, you now
are in the original part of thebuilding. This is where I be a
FM. Was you thirteen ten?I shouldn't say you, but thirteen ten
used to be next door to usin the basement, and then when you

(00:44):
know the whole, I don't knowwhat I want to say. When we
all came together, all in solidation, yes, consolidation, we moved everybody
in here, but then we builta new studio wing. So somebody didn't
get the memo to the others.Because our HVAC system has always just sucked
and over. I've been here fifteensome years now, over fifteen years,
and every year I see a differentHVAC person coming in and it's never fixed.

(01:07):
Now you have to be here overfifteen because I celebrated fifteen years back
on the first of July. Soyou were here when I got here.
Holy cow, are you getting old? I've been You've been here fifteen years
pay roll fifteen years, baby boy. I guess I'm going to be going
up on I've been here like eighteenyears. Probably, yeah, because I
was going to say you were herewhen I got here. This was just

(01:27):
supposed to be temporary. What nowand then someday we'd have to get real
jobs? Right? Wow, ithas been eighteen years. Yeah, crazy,
gosh, that is nuts. Oh. Time does fly, and it's
really going to start flying now aswe get closer and closer toward the big
November election here in Wisconsin. TheAugust primary is just two weeks from today,

(01:52):
and with that, absentee voting orearly voting is now underway. Gun.
I asked by coworker today, wouldyou be the witness and sign my
apps T ballots? Yeah? Upstairs, you know, well, Mike McCoy's
midday. Sure's absentee guy doesn't liketo go their poll days or on election
days. I don't blame it.It's so easy. I prefer the election
day. It's just I'm old schoolthat way. But where I vote,

(02:12):
I typically don't and I you know, I get done different times of the
day than more people, you know, yeah, the average person does,
so I usually don't have to waitthat long, so I like to do
day. Where do you vote inAshton, by the way, on Springfield
it's right next to the Springfield inOh. Yeah, I've been there.
If I've said about the choices, you just you know, cast your ballot,
hop over to the bar and beltdown a few at least in the
mail bathrooms if you have to,like, if you have to go,

(02:35):
make sure it's number one because there'sno stalls in the doors. Yeah,
they've had it. Yeah, thatthat place seems to be creepy. Actually,
it looked like the prime spot fora felony, but it has it
has since had new owners over thepast couple of years. You may softball
Diamond's gone now they fixed it up. The inside. It just feels a
lot safer. Yeah, I getYeah, Yeah, that's the word I'm

(02:57):
looking for. Democrats kicking off acampaign to encourage residents to vote no on
two constitutional amendments that will be onthe ballot in two weeks. Authored by
GOP lawmakers. Essentially, they wouldtake away the governor's ability to spend federal
money on his own. Republicans saythere should be some legislative oversight. That's
appropriate. Amendments must pass two successivelegislative sessions before voters have the final say.

(03:23):
So it's gone through the two legislativesessions and now it's going to be
coming to us voters. Unlike bills, the governor cannot veto constitutional amendments.
So if these get the thumbs upin two weeks, they're good to go.
I get confused when we say constitutionalamendments when we're talking about the state
of Wisconsin. Do we have ourown constitution? See even know that?

(03:43):
Look at me? I thought itwas a history major going to be that
one. It's a fascinating read.Okay, I'll get right on it.
It's not. We have a chanceto eat like JJ Watt Culvers announcing the
JJ Watt Meal. This includes adeluxe double cheeseburger, kurds, a root
beer and a chocolate turtle Sunday. This meal is going to be available from
August fifth through the September twenty ninth, and Culvers will donate some of the

(04:06):
sales to Watt's foundation that helps kidsplay sports. Yeah, that sounds like
a really good meal. Have youtried their pub burger? Yes? I
love that. It's delicious pretzel burger. And what are the onions? They're
like really pink. They're really Ithink it's onions. Maybe it's not onions,
but that burger. You know whatI think they got red onion?
Is that what it is? Likea reddish purple maybe in the cooking process,

(04:28):
because that's kind of the fancier ofyour onions. You have your vidalia
that they're they're they're kind of haughtya bit, but the red onion is
kind of steps up your game inthe whole presentation. Yeah. So,
actually Frets had a pub burger lastwe went their Saturday night. I just
had the regular butter burger. Okay, we can't any but I wanted to
splurge on the roop your float.Oh yes, it was delicious, good

(04:50):
delicious. And are you into pickleball? I played at a time or two.
I would say I'm into it.Okay, the largest pickleball court in
wiscon and is now open in thewestern part of the state. Leaders in
Lake Halle cut the ribbon on thisnew twelve court pickleball complex at Gowert Park.
This is now the second largest inthe Midwest. So this park is

(05:12):
just behind a complex in the suburbsof Minneapolis. How about that? Yeah,
I fancy pickle ball has just takenthe nation by storms. Wasn't there
like a pro league where all theselike famous people by teams in this I
don't know. Maybe as I getolder, I'll get more to pickleball.
Yeah, I'm in, but I'mjust intrigued by the pickle If you've never

(05:34):
played, there's no real pickles andthis I know, and I'm bummed.
All right, thank you have agreat rescue or two for Tuesday. Coming
back. Let's see we roll someNirvana and ac DC as we get closer
to three forty and your shot towin your way in to see fog hat
at Hochung Gaming, Wisconsindale's November thethirtieth, Keep it locked. So what

(05:54):
