and that, and I'm like,well, my bra fell behind there and

okay, I think I can andthen he pulled the desk. I'm like,
oh my god, I could havedone that. I didn't realize.

football game for my son, birthdayparty for my niece, come home,

their top ten in most categories.Yeah, fourth obviously sacks they're getting after
the quarterback, they're stopping the run. Now, Look, they haven't played
any good quarterbacks after Patrick Mahomes,since Patrick Mahomes, right, I mean,
Gino was fine, but the lasttwo games, Desmond Ridder wasn't very
good well, and they were thinkingat the of benching him Desmond Ridder because
he didn't do very well last weekeither. But anyway, right, so

you know, I don't know,you know there are more challenges ahead,
even though the schedule isn't incredibly difficult. Justin Herbert in a few weeks.
The Raiders have some better weapons inthe passing game, even though you are
kind of a mediocre team, rightCowboys at the end of the season,
Kirk Cousins, justin Jefferson. Sothere are there are many, maybe some
better gauges of how good this defenseis coming up, But man enjoy it
while it's here, because they area really good team right now. When

he's doing a pretty good job withI mean, you know, hitting
big plays. The Lions right noware I believe they're top five in yards

where he is leads the NFL andcompletion percentage on those long passes, passes
over twenty yards, So you know, he's doing all the things that you
need to do to have an explosiveoffense and to win football games. So
yes, he needs to take bettercare of the football. But no,
I don't think it's a huge concernat this point. I think we all
know the recent turnover woes that hehad, I mean in his last season

and a half with LA and inthe start here in Detroit. But you
know, this thing is going sowell right now. You know, I
wouldn't be too concerned about that.And look, two of those picks are

because I think the other team hasto be good above average for it
to be a trap game, andthe Panthers are like the worst team in
the NFL, one of the twoworst teams. So I just don't know
that they have much of a shotof coming into Ford Field to win.
But absolutely there's I mean it's humannature to overlook your opponents sometimes and think,

hey, we got this in thebag. Right, things are going
really well for you, you're winninggames, you're at home, you know,
there's there's so much going for you, and maybe you just, you
know, you overlook that. Ithink it happened to the line at the
end of the season last year againstCarolina because that Panthers team they weren't great.
They ran rough shot three hundred andtwenty yards rushing. That was amazing.

Again, well, that defense wasgot off the last year. So
that Panthers team did two things well, they ran the ball and they played
pretty good defense. I mean,Brian Burns, they had some good players
on defense. This Panthers team doesn'tdo anything real well on offense. So
I just don't know that they're thatthis team is capable of upsetting a good
lines team. So that's that's myonly quibble with this being a trap game,
right, and the Panthers have onefour or five against the Lions.

But I think this year it's alittle different. But you know, you
don't know, I mean, thePanthers come in here, Bryce Young doesn't
look very good. I mean,you look at the Rocky quarterbacks, who
looks better exactly? I mean that's, you know, amazing. Anthony Richardson
even Yeah, he even looks better. But when you look at this game,
you're getting some people back. JamisonWilliams, I must have been out

of town when they reduced to suspensionfrom six to four games, right,
So last Friday happened the day afterthat, Oh, I see, I
was out of town. I wasn'tpaying attention. So that's when I lost
my bra. So so they reducedthe NFL now is they came up with
guidelines when it comes to gambling andhopefully it won't ever happen again. But

his suspension was reduced, so hewill play on Sunday. And Dan said
they're going to ease him in,So what what are you thinking? Yeah,
and just to be clear, youknow, the Lions have not said
he one will play. Everyone expectshim to play. He said he's going
to play. He's he's on theCommissioner's exempt list right now. So the
Lions do have a They could waittill one week to activate him if they

want to. You have one weekto do that. But I expect Jamison
to be on the field. Youknow, he's probably going to be the
number four receiver right out of thegate. That means he's taken a few
snaps from Marvin Jones, who's seenhis playing time dwindle a little bit.
He's certainly not going to surpass themon Ross Saint Brown on the depth chart.
You know, he's not going tobe a more effective player than Josh
Reynolds off the bat. You know, Sam Laported, Jamiir Gibbs, those

guys are still ahead of him,Polief Rayman. Even in the you know,
the passing game, you know achart, I guess of who Jared
Goff is throwing the ball to.But the one thing that Jamison Williams has
and does is he can run fast. That speed can be a game changer,
and not always in terms of himcatching past doesn't have the ball in

his hand when he's running that fast. That is an issue his route running.
Yeah, and but you know thething that Antoine Randelel said this on
Tuesday, Jared Goff talked about thisa little bit, just having that element,
the respect that the defense has togive to a wide receiver who can
take the top off. You knowthat maybe it makes the safety play a

step or two back right, itmakes those linebackers, you know, some
of the drops that they take,they're quicker, you know, maybe taking
those drops and that opens things upacross the middle. And maybe it's for
Jamison on a slant, or maybeit's for am and Ross Saint Brown to
do more work inside, or JamiirGibbs or whatever the case is. I
think the Lions are hoping that William'spresence allows the rest of their offense to
flourish as much as it does leadto big plays from Jamison himself. You're

that he uh practiced like one hundredcatches, one hundred catches a day.
He said, you do the mathon that, so, you know,
thirty days or whatever it was,he caught three thousand balls twice a day.
So Jamison said he did his owntwo a day workouts when he was
gone, said he worked out inthe morning, did some field drills in
the afternoon, catching stuff. Andhe said he caught one hundred passes off

the drugs machine every day. Soand I know a lot of Lions fans
were like, what one hundred passes? I mean, you're suspended. You
got twenty four hours in a day, Like I'm in Rock catches two hundred
and two a day after he's donepracticing, So what's one hundred a day?
But now listen, is that fiftyin the morning and fifty in the
afternoon, So that's not a bigdeal. Well yeah, I mean I
get that, but let's give theguy credit for catching passes at least,

right, you know, I meanthis is something that a lot of people
are like, oh, get hima jugs machine. He needs to work
on his hands, he needs tobe on the Amen rock plan. Well
he's doing it, okay, andmaybe a hundred is different than two hundred,

Metcalf. You know, he ownedup to his mistakes. We talked about
him a little bit last week.You know, he obviously has had some

penalties, but his physical play andhe's a guy who's he's been a factor
in the run game, Jerry Jacobsays, to the run defense. So
he's not going to fall completely outof this rotation. But you know,
the Lion signed Emmanuel Moseley. Theysaid as much in the spring to be
a starter. And so when EmmanuelMoseley is fully back healthy, able to
play seventy reps a game, he'sgoing to be the starter. And that's

not quite this week yet. Youknow, the guys he's practiced for a
week essentially two weeks. Really,they didn't do anything though last week,
so you know, it just wouldn'tbe right to give him a full compliment
of games rep. Well, youhave to ease failure, ease him back
in. He's coming off what anACL and then a knee cleanup in the
offseason. He didn't go through trainingcamp one hundred percent. He lost I

mean hero for his ACL last October, had a knee clean up as you
said this summer, and then hepulled his hamstring when he came back the
first week of camp, so orthe first week of the regular season in
practice. So you know, hejust hasn't been on the field. For
the sake of having him for thefinal you know, thirteen games plus playoffs,
you want to ease him into therotation. Well, you know what

else, I was impressed with DavidMontgomery only because he went out with a
thigh bruise against Atlanta Brus against lYeah, okay, he didn't play against
it. And then and then whathe did against the Packers, I'm like

quite there against Kansas City, butthey've been running the ball with authority.
