How are you? I'm good?How are you doing really well?
I mean, I feel like itwas just a year ago. You were
right here in this studio and You'reAll for Nothing Era and we loved having
you perform. So it's always goodto touch base with you. You have
like you're always doing something, alwaysdoing something unique and cool. And then

they told me that you have anew song in the Disney Pixar movie Elemental
Steal the Show, and we're sohappy for you. That has just been
charting majorly. You've been breaking records. The movie in general has been in
theater since June, which really sayssomething about the film. What was it
like getting involved in a Disney Pixarmovie, and how was it like writing

a song for them? It waslike it was like waking up and getting
a call that you just never expected, Like I just never I don't know
if you've had a situation of that. We're just like somebody calls you and
you're totally expecting to talk about somethingelse, and then all of a sudden,
it's just like this crazy thing.That was very much what it was
and UM yeah, I was.I was. I was shocked and nervous
at first, you know, becauseI like, it's such a deal obviously.

Um. But the process was amazing. I mean I went into Pixar
and saw like an early, umlike storyboard of the film and stuff,
and and that was really cool.It was just like kind of like the
early like sketches and dialogue and stufflike that, and got like a little
glimpse of what the movie was about. UM. But it's crazy how much
it evolves over time. Like Ialso got to see like like a couple

of times throughout the process the animationas it gotten more and more like,
um intricate, So that was reallycrazy. UM And basically yeah, I
mean it's like, uh, PeteAnd you know, the team called Wanting.
They had used I Liked Me Betteras a placeholder song, and they
wanted the song, you know,for the falling in love montage scene,
and um, and I didn't Ithink originally I didn't even think it was

going to be in the end credits, but ended up in the end credits
too, which was insane, andI ended up getting like a um,
like a whole section of the creditswas like just for the song and for
me, which is just actually nuts, Like I think I won't be able
to process that in time like fiftyor something, and I see that's just
crazy, um, you know,because it's like I've just been like that
kid in my bedroom making music sinceI was like, you know whatever,

writing songs, since I was liketwelve or thirteen. I've never something like
this would happen. So nuts,it's amazing. And when I was jamming
out to it, I heard like, I don't I take this the right
way? It's like such a louvysong, Like yeah, you know what
I mean, Like you took likewhatever Disney and picts are wanted, and
you made it into something that islike at the core you I feel like

I conferred notes of I like youBetter, like I could ye a little
bit of I Like you Better andsteal the show. Yeah yeah, yeah,
no, for sure. I meana lot of the new music I've
been working on feels very to me, feels very like why I started making
music in the first place. I'min the probably the healthiest time in my
life right now, like for real, for real, which is awesome.
So yeah, I'm with with thissong. And then you know, my

next song and an album I'm workingon. I think it's gonna I think
a lot of people are gonna feellike it's very like louvy. I don't
think I knew what that meant fora long time, and now I'm like,
okay, I know what that means. Like I get it. We're
gonna make it into a term.This is very louvy. But I feel
like as an artist, that isthe goal, because when you first start
off, you're like, yes,this is who I am and I know
that, and then you maybe sometimeslose sight of that. Yeah, I
feel like it's like Saturn return vibesand you know, twenty eight twenty nine.

So yeah, I will tell youwhen I turned thirty, that was
like the biggest like oh my god, Like I just felt like an epiphany
happened. So you're on the righttrack, all right. I have to
ask I think I've heard you saythis before, but I'm going somewhere with
it. What is your favorite characterthat you relate to most in elemental Um.
I would definitely say Wade. IOriginally like people would ask me like,

okay, like what element would yoube? And since I'm a Leo
I assumed like, oh, definitelyfire then and then I was like,
wait, watch the film and Iwas like, definitely, Wait gets so
emotional, like I feel like I'djust be like crying about random stuff and
just over overly emotional like most ofthe time. Though, Yeah, yeah,
same, I love it. Okay. So I remember last time you
were in here you loved when Iread you your horoscope, And since Leo

season is approaching in your b days, I have your horoscope for you.

a as like a pretty simple lovesong, and it's really grown into being
more of like um because I kindof kept like living with it and editing
the lyrics over time as I've beenkind of growing, and it's turned into
like a much bigger than just likea simple love song. It's turned into
this whole like I'm not going tojudge myself anymore. I'm going to allow
myself to be who I want tobe, who I feel I am,

um and and it's kind of ina weird way, and I think I'm
gonna capture this in the music video. It's going to be a lot about
like like self love and like trueself love for like accepting, yeah,
accepting like what you're into and likewho you are and all of that.
So, um, I'm really excited. It's just the beginning of I think
a lot of really really really somereally sad music, but really positive music

too, So and I think somany people can relate to that and cling
to that and taking they need,which is it's so great, especially like
you said, this is the erawhere I feel like I'm finally back in
my loud V phase is what we'llcall ye. So yeah, and so
the new album's on the way too, any Like, do we haven't released
date yet or is that no releasedate? I mean my personal goal is

just like I want to release singleslike often until until it feels like,

time, Like I don't. Ithink my last album I made the whole
thing before I released it. Honestly, don't think I'll ever do that again.

Definitely not. I'm I'm I havemore than I already have, like way
more than enough songs for an album. But I think I'm starting to write
some stuff that I really want tosay that I haven't been able to say

said the same thing. You're like, there were so many songs that were
written for that and just you know, it's crazy. How do you decide

what you're gonna put on the album? And do you have influence from like
your team, family and friends orlike what goes into that. Yeah,
it's like a it's a mixture ofLike when I feel extremely strong about a
song, then like I definitely likethis has to be in the album.
But there's also a couple of peopleare really trust their their feelings and their
ears. Um, people close tome, like one of my really good

friends, Michael Pollock um is executiveproducing the album with me, and he's
just an insane songwriter. We youknow, we did a lot of my
early stuff together too, like I'mSo Tired and Lonely and Paris and the
Rain, like a bunch of songs. So he's executive producing at me,
So I really trust him. Um, sometimes my parents, but sometimes sometimes

I feel like the songs they likeare a little corny to me, no
shades of them, um And obviouslyyeah, obviously my team as well.
UM. But yeah, it's likewhen you have a bunch of pictures and
you think you pick out the bestpicture of yourself and then like, what,
you look so gorgeous here and you'relike what yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah I feel that definitely. Sotours kicking off very soon. You're

going to start off in Asia andthen hit up Europe in UK. Yeah,
and then there'll be more like ustouring. A bunch of that coming
not this year unfortunately, just becauseI'll be making the album and stuff,
but um, definitely like next yearthe way I see it is going to
be like a lot of singles leadingup to next year, a lot more
single is an album, maybe twoalbums, a lot of touring Like next

year. It's really like I'm finallyjust feel like I'm back and ready to
