cow on the chalkboard and right out the little menu.
It was at like a corner of this highway.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
You had to draw a brand new cow on the
chalkboard every day. Why didn't you just leave the cow
up from the day before.

Well, because I was an aspiring artist and that was
the only choice.
Speaker 3 (05:36):

men coming on to you and wait that they kind
of felt like they owned you because you were serving
their coffee. And also, I'm not a morning person, never
have been.

That's the worst.
Speaker 8 (06:00):
Yeah, getting out it for in the morning to schlept
chit this diner was really hard.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
But at least you did it while you were young.
Imagine doing that like when you're forty.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
That would be so much harder.
Speaker 6 (06:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (06:15):
I know, I earned my stripes and went on to
serve in much better and finer establishment.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
Do you think money can buy you happiness?
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Me too, Yes, since Sacramento's New Kiss one of seven
point nine Strawberry Lindsa in the afternoon. A lot of
people do say money can't buy you happiness. But there's
a researcher named Jessica Weiss. She says money can.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Buy you happiness as a matter of fact, And these.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Are the things that you shouldn't feel guilty about buying
because they are proven to make you happier long term.
Speaker 5 (13:48):
I'm going to go through a few.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
I agree with her already. Yes, money can buy you happiness, right,
what can we be buying? Let me write these down?
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Okay, live concerts so yes, experiences and live music events
and things like that.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
For sure.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Time saving purchases such as meal delivery or paying someone
to come clean your house.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Yes, agreed, Yeah, agreed.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Being generous to others it gives us a what's called
a helper's high.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
It actually does make us happy.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
I like that long term Okay, and small joys. For example,
a four dollars coffee twice a week can bring you
more joy than a sudden four hundred dollars splurge on
something that you'll feel guilty about. But you know, if
you spend like little things here and there, spend on
yourself something nice, yeah, it makes you HAPPI your long term.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
I like that.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Brunch with my fiance is one of my favorite things,
Like whether it's the weekend or like she can work
from home on like a Tuesday and we'll go grab
brunch real quick.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Yeah, brunch is not cheap. That's a small spend. Small spend,
but like that's one of my favorite things. So you're
spending quality time.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Doctor Jessica is the financial advisor of The Strawberry Zette
Show from now on for sure.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Okay, live concerts, time saving part, being generous, helping others
and spending small amounts.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
On yourself here and there or regularly. Yeah, do all
of that. I agree money absolutely can buy you happiness.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
There's the proof. I want to join the conversation.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Send Strawberry and Lisette a talkback message while you stream

A New Kiss When I was seven point nine, Strawberry
Lissa in the afternoon, a Washington State man is crediting
his pet lizard for saving him from an apartment fire.
So earlier this month, Donald Hale was sleeping.
Speaker 5 (15:38):
On his couch.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
This was happening in an apartment building in Federal Way, Washington,
when a fire broke out. Now he didn't hear the
smoke alarm, but his pet bearded dragon named Spike used
his long tail to repeated least slap him in the
face to wake him up, and alerted him just in time. Yeah,
(15:59):
that's when he discovered smoke coming from a bath food cabinet.
When he opened it, flames burst out, and he quickly
backed away, grabbed some water, managed to put the fire out.
He thinks someone poured a flammable substance down the drain
and that's what started the fire, but like he doesn't
know for sure.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Donald credits both God and Spike for saving his life,
describing the lizard's unusual behavior as the quote loudest noise
he'd ever heard, because Spike is normally very quiet.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
And aren't they slow? Also, aren't reptiles slow like lizards are?
Speaker 5 (16:33):
Could be pretty quick?
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Okay, Yeah, I don't know about I don't know much
about bearded dragons, but I've seen like those reptiles like
ron and you know when they grab food with their tongue.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Fair enough, Yeah, I think they're pretty quick, he said.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
If Spike didn't didn't wake him up, he wouldn't be
talking here today. As a reward, he plans to take
Spike on a vacation to the Grand Canyon to celebrate
him being a hero. I really think this is for
Donald But if you want to bring Spike along, then
yeah yeah.

On Friday, we talked about how Britney Spears was smoking
on a flight. Uh huh got Thorty's gave her a
little talking to. You're not allowed to light up a
cigarette while you're in thirty thousand feet above the sky.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
She talked about this on her Instagram.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
She made a post did you see it? Yes?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
And as a parent, Lisette, as a parent, tell me,
this is not one of the worst excuses you've ever heard,
because when your son gets in trouble from time to time,
I'll throw bad excuses at you. Oh the worst excuses.
He lies about everything. So Brittany says that this is
her Instagram post. Some planes I've been on you can't smoke,
some you can. I've heard that. That was my argument,
(17:48):
like sometimes you hear these artists smoking on the flight, right.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
But again, she was on a private jet. But we
don't know who owns the private jets, so we didn't
know the rules.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
She said confession, it was my first time drinking vodka.
I was like, wow, what is in there?
Speaker 2 (18:02):
What is it?
Speaker 5 (18:03):
I said?
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I wanted a cigarettes so bad. My friend put it
in my mouth and lit it up for me. So
I was like, oh, this is a plane where you
can smoke.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
So her friend her friends when that didn't she wasn't smoking,
her friend was making her smoke. Yeah, I believe that
she genuinely just didn't know, because like, I don't know,
she just seems not all there to me these days,
she seems not all there to me as well. So
I believe that she maybe was under the impression like, oh,
(18:37):
it's a plane, you can't smoke on here. But then
once someone else lit up, she goes, oh, maybe it's okay.
Did you see her say that. When she got off
the plane and the cops were there ready to like
talk to her, she didn't know they were cops, so
she thought they were just people.
Speaker 5 (18:48):
Greeting her from when she landed. Thought everyone is here
to just like tell me hi and welcome.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Nope, it was the cops, no agra, and she did
say they were quote a bit much.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
Yeah, they were quote kind of much. Yeah, she's so funny. Oh, Brittany,
Oh Brittany. Oh, my friend texted you that. Sorry, he
has my phone.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
