says they hope that the event will help raise awareness

Memorial Day weekend, but there's also the annual Memorial Day
Service at Mount Vernon Memorial Park and a tribute at
the Sacramento VA Medical Center. There's also a lesser known
but very meaningful event. It's the Candlelight Vigil at the
Sacramento Historic City Cemetery, and a unique option is the

where thousands of flags are placed to follow to honor

Sacramentos A New Kiss. When I was seven point nine,
Strawberry and less in the afternoon. Since twenty ten, the
nonprofit Team Red, White and Blue, or Team r WB,
has been helping veterans build healthy lifestyles to celebrate their
fifteenth anniversary in race funds to support their programs. This month,

a dozen veterans ran three thousand miles across the country
sure in a record setting continuous relay carrying the American flag.
The event, known as the Old Glory Ultra Relay, started
in San Diego on May second and finished seventeen days
later in Washington, DC on May eighteenth. Nice retired Special

Forces Colonel Michael Sully. Sullivan, a longtime leader with Team RWB,
says they hope that the event will help raise awareness
and show that veterans.

He said they chose a cross country relay to symbolize
veterans' ongoing contributions to the nation. Team member and retired
Army Lieutenant Cole de Rosa talked about the physical demands
of this relay.

I can't believe that they did this.

It included running through deserts, snow, and extreme heats, and
said that the moment of reaching the finish line and
seeing the support from fence and families was just so emotional.
I could only imagine how high emotions were as of now,
the team has raised more than seven hundred and fifty
thousand dollars towards its one million dollar fund raising goal, so.

They are almost there. What a great relay and putting
in so much work to get there.

Yeah, I can't imagine running across the country in like
two weeks.
