six ten weekday mornings with the B ninety three Morning
Show at Summit High School in Mansfield, Texas. Principal Jason Mutterer,
known lovingly by students as Coach mutt. That's a cool name.
That is a really cool name. He wanted to leave
his graduating seniors with something kind of special, so he

did something pretty extraordinary. He hand wrote four hundred and
forty three personal letters, one for every single graduating student
that was walking across the stage that year, and he
tucked a single dollar bill into each hand written note.
Four hundred and forty three. That's pretty impressive. Why a
dollar because, as he told the class, a small act

of kindness can go a pretty long way, and his
hope is that those four hundred and forty three tiny
gestures will ripple outward and inspire hundreds more. The letters
took more than twenty four hours to complete, but for
Coach mutt it was time well spent. After two twenty
three years at Summit High, starting as a teacher and
a coach, and now wrapping up his principal, he wanted

his students to feel seen, appreciated and encouraged to carry
kindness with them into the world. So if you need
a little faith restored in humanity today, there it is,
one handwritten note and one dollar at a time. Love
that so much more than twenty four hours and four
hundred and forty three dollars, and that sets a very
