No this is a little bit reminiscent of my promposal. Story,
ooh you have a good.

One, well it was good for, Somebody it was funny
for a lot of. PEOPLE i did not have a
good time okay during the promposal because the police were,
involved and that really freaked me. Out oh, BOY i, mean,
like all's, well that ended, well, right we went to
prom we had a great. Time but this story is
it's kind of like that ish. Ish this one seems
to be a little bit better than. Mine but last,

week A Northern colorado teenager teamed up with local police
to create a memorable. Promposal after reaching out to The
Loveland Police, Department Officer hurst worked with this boy and
both families to coordinate the. Surprise so her family was
in on. It they kind of, knew which is. GOOD
i feel like that's a good place to.

Yeah the plan came together Last friday night when Officer
hurst and fellow Officer MacArthur arrived at the girl's home
with their lights.

Flashing, scary that's, terrifying.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Right the officers approached the home and asked the girl
to step, outside smiling the whole time so she won't
get too. Scared, also, key the young man was waiting
with a sign that READ i Know i'm not a,
cop but will you be my ticket to?

Prom that's pretty. Smooth it's. Smooth that's pretty. Good it's.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Terrifying the girl was incredibly surprised by the gesture and
happily accepted the. Promposal The Loveland Police department shared the
touching moment on social, media calling it an example of
positive community. Engagement the department praise the collaboration and both,
families and they say they appreciate their.

NOW i want to know what. Happened there was cops
involved in. Yours, yeah are you gonna what? Happened are

Huh and in high, school like pulled me out of
class one day and he was, LIKE i need to
see you in my office, now and like Basically purp
walked me down the hallway to his. OFFICE i was,
like what is this, About, Like i'm not a, Troublemaker
LIKE i don't know what, Happened LIKE I i was
thinking the, worst like the worst for, me BUT i
couldn't come up with anything for. Me SO i was

thinking that somebody else in my, life like something had,
bad had, happened and that my high school boyfriend was
like waiting in his office and he's, like we could
probably Me AND i was, like if this cop wasn't
here right, Now i'd, say, no.

Yeah well that's is ultimate rule. Follower that's the last
THING i would ever.

Do and like none of the teachers were in on, it,
nobody none of my friends. Knew so when the police
officer was pulling me out of, class my teacher was,
like is everything?

Okay AND i was, LIKE i don't.

Know and then like my friends are like watching me
walk down the hallway with this police officer and they're, like.

Oh, no life is flashing before your.
