Speaker 3 (00:21):
Babyaby, what's up?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Guys? You hear that sound? It means we are back.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It's the Babyfaces Podcast, only on iHeartRadio, the official pro
wrestling podcast of iHeartMedia, Louisville, powered by Kentuckyana's number one
four Country, ninety seven to five WAMZ and now seven
ninety sports talk radio in Louisville. You can find me
there daily from three to six. What's going on, guys?
I'm your co host Austin back with a full panel today,

(00:59):
Billy missed him and another huge guest. Last time we
were talking to you, guys, we had Drew McIntyre. We're
stepping it up a bit because now we have Dirty
Dominic Mysterio.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
We're allowed to call you Mysterio. You still hate that name?
Or dude?

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Are you kidding me? I'm the greatest mysteri of all time.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
That's that's a hell of a claim right there. Quite
the linkage.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
It's the only claim.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
There you go. I love it.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I feel that. I like that vibe.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Yeah, come on, dude, I'm four years in and I'm
already better than my old man in every way, shape
and form.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Well, you know it's no secret that this time of
year for wrestling pens is awesome with the rumble around
the corner. Your dad a former rumble winner himself. You know,
do you you kind of grew up in the same
era of wrestling as us. Do do you have you know,
rumble memories he looked back on when you were just
watching as a fan before he came a wrestler.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Yeah, dude, I love the rumble. You know. It's one
of those things where you you.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
Really never know who's gonna come next, so it's really
is a surprise. But for me, one of my favorite
rumbles is, you know, when my dead beat unfortunately won
because I thought I was I was a big Randy
Orton guy, so like I thought, I thought Randy was
gonna take it, you know, and then uh, that bea
just comes in and ruins it, but shout out to

(02:17):
Triple H two, pulling him out being a sort of loser,
throwing them against the steps. You know, I thought that
was pretty cool. I was like, all right, this is
a done deal. Randy's got it in the bag. But no,
But anyways, I'm excited for the rumbleman, the rumbles always.
It's been one of my favorite pay per views of
all time for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
And of course WW raw is now on Netflix. There's
a lot of full steam ahead with that. What's the
vibe like? I guess from you and Judgment Day and
I guess we can include everybody else in the uh
in the back now that you're on the biggest streaming
platform ever and ww has so many eyes on it,
what's the what's the morale like for everybody over there

(02:55):
on Raw?

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I mean, morale is high.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
You know, we're all super excited to to be able
to just be on Netflix. You know, because a lot
of a lot of us have like families. You know,
I have family in Mexico. Judgment Day has family and
Ireland and stuff because of Finn and j Ad, So
like our families struggled to be able to see us
because if they don't have USA, they have to watch

(03:18):
it on.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
For us, it's like Fox.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Sport or for that I don't know what they have
to watch it on an Ireland, but it's always different
channels here and there, you know. So like the fact
that like you can just tune in whether it's eight
pm or five pm West Coast East Coast time, as
long as you figure it out overseas and you have Netflix,
you can watch it.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
So the fact that you can watch it all around
the world.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
At any point in time, even if you missed the
episode last week, you can just go on there and
click it and they have it all there.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
So like that's huge for us.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
You know, we're in over one hundred something million homes
right so, like that's that's insane, And that's a whole
different viewership for us. You know, We're used to just
people tune in on on USA and and seeing Monday
Night Raw. But now it's like, whoever clicks on Netflix,
you're going to see whether it's Koree Rhodes or Bianca

(04:10):
Roman live myself, Like you're gonna see wrestling on there,
and it's really cool to see because it's going to
catch your attention.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
And people are going to click on to see Monday
Night Raw.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, I've never thought about it like that. I mean,
you guys really are worldwide, you know. Sometimes here in
the US, I think we forget that that people ever
sees completely on different time schedule than us. And now,
like you're saying, it's a lot more on demand and
being on Netflix gotta be cool because there, I mean,
so many great shows have come from Netflix. Did you
have a favorite yourself that you've watched or binged over
the years.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
I'm a big Peaky Blinders guy.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Okay, Yeah, Tommy Shelby Action.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Oh dude, I love I love, I love Tommy Shelby
my hat. But for me, I've also don't don't hate
on me now, But I just recently got into Love
is Blind.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Oh I'm a big love I love Love is Blind.
Guilty pleasure for sure.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
But like the fact that they get crazy and then
they all like lie to each other and then they meet.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
It's like a whole It's like a whole thing.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
I was hooked instantly.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
They finally see each other in real life, and you
really see how shallow people Are I love it?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yes, Yes, it's great.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Like I was, I was waiting for this, like one
specific couple in season seven, I was like, oh God,
I can't wait till she sees him or like vice versa.
You know, so like I as soon as I saw
season seven, I was like, I got to binge the rest,
which I did.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
But yeah, that's because they're definitely my top two right now.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
And as much as you also love a streaming. I've
heard you on other podcasts before you talked about now
we are a country station. I've heard you like your
fair share of country music too. What's what's some of
the best country concerts you've been to?

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Honestly, I've never been to a country.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Concert, never been to a country concert.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I want to change that.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
I've always wanted to go, but I've so my now wife,
I've been with her since I was fourteen. She's loved
country whole life, and I've always hated country and not
up until maybe, I want to say, twenty twenty one,
twenty twenty two, my boy Austin Theory, he started playing
some Morgan Wallen a little you know, a little bit

(06:12):
more Luke Colmb's, so I like started getting a little bit.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
I don't know if it's because like I just didn't
want to listen.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
To my girl. I was like, I don't want to
listen to that, and then Austin starts playing it.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
I was like, my dog, I was like, this is
this is awesome.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
So then I just started expanding a little bit more
with with my country. I have a whole country playlist
on my phone. It includes like like Morgan wall and
Luke Coles, Tim McGraw, Jason al Dean, you name it.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
I could keep Earnest Hardy. I've become like a big like.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
I'm also a music connoisseur, so like I listen to
all sorts of music. It just depends the mood I'm in.
But country is definitely one of my tops.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Yeah, I'm the same way. I have a smorgas board
of music I like, but Tree Countries, Uh, you know,
working out the country station here makes it definitely my
top as well. Well.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Dom.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I appreciate appreciate you taking the time, man, that's been
it has been awesome. We've talked a lot about Monday
Night Roll and its transition the Netflix. If you live
in in the area of Wouisville, role is actually going
to be in Cincinnati, which is just like an hour
and a half away from us here soon. So you
know what, give the fans kind of a taste of
what they can expect if they show up to Cincinnati
for ROLL.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Honestly, if you show up to a Monday night Raw,
you can expect one of the greatest shows you'll ever
see because WWE does an amazing job of making every
show just a massive spectacle, whether it's you know, the
piate we have and then the wrestler like we just
we just do a really good job making everything seem
like it is bigger than life because it really is,

(07:46):
you know, and the Judgment Day is always going to
be in town taking over, so you can expect some havoc.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
You can expect some craziness.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
People always want tables to I don't like to give
the people what they want, So.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Like a true not a babyface.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Guy, clear no, not about babyfaces.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Guy.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
We're gonna have to We're gonna have We're gonna have
to get you to a country concert. We're gonna have
to get you to enjoy our name or unless you
want to throw out another name.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Uh Billy always calls me the heel of the show.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
But I get that that's a nice little balance from
back and forth.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Do you have any hair?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I do, yes, but it's receding. So that's why I
cover it with they had a lot of the times.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
So kind of like kind of like my dead beat
almost like that.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, I get a mass next. Don I certainly appreciate
you coming on, dude. It's meant a lot. You guys
can catch Monday Night Raw Netflix and gonna be in
Indianapolis next week. Me and Billy are gonna be there
credentialed media, so we'll be cheering it on. What do
you think just a quick ten seconds, what do you
think Raw will be? Like, you win the World Rumble
and you become world champion.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Ooh, I think that people would go absolutely insane. People
would hate to see me as world champion.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
But let's see it.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
I'm down.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Let's see it. Guys.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
You heard it here first, Dirty Dominic, Mysterio World Rumble
next week.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
It's gonna be fun, guys. Thanks for listening to Babyfaces.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Thanks guys,
