Speaker 1 (00:00):
Everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
That's the American Nightmare Cody Rosen and you are listening
to the baby Faces on iHeartRadio. Hey, guys, this is
ww Superstar TV Strun and you're listening to the baby
Faces on iHeartRadio. What's going on, y'all? Is WWE Superstar
Kobe Kingston and you're listening to the Babyfaces on iHeart Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Babby All right, guys, you hear that music that means
we are back. It's the baby Faces podcast on iHeartRadio,
the official pro wrestling podcasts of iHeartRadio Louisville, powered by

(00:42):
Sports Talk seven ninety here in Louisville and also ninety
seven five w A MZ.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
It's good to be back. The OG two are back.
Billy the Kid, Billy Prickett, my guy, my friend, my
best friend, the co hosts the original OG is back
with us today. Man, we've misched you. We've had some
fun with Vigilanti talks the last couple of weeks. He's, uh,
he's kind of busy, but we're gonna be doing a

(01:10):
wrap up show with him. All the people that have
gotten used to him still part of the team. But
he's also having a little busy week. So he's just
gonna come back on the review process after this. But
this is your official WrestleMania forty one preview show. Me
and Billy always like to get together before the WrestleMania
as we always do our big preview talking points everything

(01:30):
that's going on, and it's here. WrestleMania is in Vegas.
They just they just unveiled the set today. Billy, you're
the one that put me onto that and I just
got to check this out right before we got on.
But first of all, man, how have you been a
lot of fun life changes in the last couple of weeks.
Why don't you talk to the people?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Dude? First, I got to say your your OTC is
back on the baby Faces, so acknowledge right, No, man,
it'soria yeah, hold up the ones. It's been good. It's
it's been a whirlwind obviously, you know when you have
a baby. For those that haven't, it's it's everything you
expected more. Uh, it's been it's been awesome. So we've

(02:08):
been loving it. She's she's doing great and it's good
to be you know. It's many a weekend. Good to
get back on here and and talk a little talk,
a little wrestling. Been keeping up with you know, with
the shows, even with taking care of the baby and whatnot.
So I'm excited. Man. You know, it's this time rolls
around every year, and it's crazy that, uh, you know,
we're talking before we started, like this time last year,

(02:29):
we were leaving WrestleMania type deal and now, uh, and
it's just crazy what can happen in a year all
of a sudden, a year later, I'm a father and
like that's just you know, it's insane to think about. Uh.
You know, if you would have told me that this
time last year, I would have been like, there's no way,
and here we are. So yeah, man, it's good. It's
good to be back on.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Here and just a little insider baseball when we kind
of look back at it and look at that trip
that we took to Philadelphia, one of the best trips
that I've ever taken. It was fun, especially we especially
you was your first ever WrestleMania. One of the things
that we talked about before going out there was we
don't know if we're going to be able to do
this for a long time, because you had mentioned that

(03:08):
you had had some plans to hopefully, you know, bring
in a child or move forward with your life about
that time last year, so there was work and talks
of it, but now that it's actually happened, it's it's
still pretty crazier. No longer the baby faces. You're a
baby father.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, that's right, and I had a baby, an actual baby.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
It's crazy, literal baby. One of these days, a baby baby.
Holly is going to make her debut before we got on.
She has already fuss and I think she wants to
be a part of the show. She has some she
has some thoughts already, so that's that's definitely gonna be
a good time. Just just crazy, uh, seeing everything that's
happened with you, So congratulations with you, Congratulations to your wife.

(03:48):
You guys are new parents. It's awesome stuff. So hopefully nothing,
nothing but good stuff comes out of you being a father. Now.
It's kind of crazy because thankfully she came a little
bit earlier, because last time that we were talking, you
thought that you're going to be in the hospital watching WrestleMania,
because that was the original date.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I haven't even thought about that. Today is the actual
due date. We're recording this on April eighteenth, so crazy, Yeah,
she came on March thirty first, But yeah, we were
I was kind of thinking about that, like, oh, man,
I might be in the hospital room asking for like
the peacock log in, right, like, uh so, yeah, it's
it's good that she came early. Shit, it's her. She
had to be here for her first WrestleMania. So WrestleMania

(04:29):
forty one in Vegas her first one.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
So u yeah, the babies being born. You want to
come check it out now? John Cena is making his
heel entrance, his first heel entrance at Mania.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah. Yeah, that would be nuts. That would be nuts.
I was also nervous that she maybe was going to
come in the middle of a long Wolville March Madness run.
But as we know, yeah, first round exit pretty brutal, but.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
That that was pretty rough. At least she wasn't subjected
to pain already.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Being a Louisville fans exactly.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah, you know, it's hell, we got to make the tournament.
I am just so happy this year and now finally
looks like things are looking up. I've watched more Louisville
basketball this last year than I have combined like the
last three or four years. It's it's it's been crazy.
So glad that the cards are back on top and
the recruiting class next year is starting to look pretty good.
So some major good vibes coming, especially downtown to where

(05:21):
we are. You're gonna have to come in town check
out a few games. I know we missed each other
a couple of times this year, but we're definitely gonna
have to do it up, get back to our old
routine next year at the Young Center. It's gonna be
pretty fun and.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Dark Derby Derby right around the corner.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Man, that's right.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
The vibes are up in Louisville, no doubt.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's fun. Have you guys been Have you guys been
blistered by any up there in northern Kentucky by any
of the floods that just happened to due they had
to cancel thunder over Louisville last week.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yeah, it's crazy, you know, like thunder is such a
big event for Louisville. I'm sure there's a lot of
people listening that aren't even aware of what we're talking
about because it's a pretty like local thing. But it's
really it's like the kickoff of derby season here here
in Louisville. Time fireworks show downtown and you know what
I've it's been a big part of my like Derby
tradition every year. It's my mom lives right there on
the river, has a great spot to watch it. So

(06:09):
I was shocked when I when I heard that news
with the flooding and whatnot. But obviously better statement. Sorry,
uh yeah, but up up here, you know, as long
as you're not you know, there are spots by the Ohio.
Luckily we're not super close to it, so it didn't
affect us personally, but there were some you know, some
some spots that got hit pretty hard. So uh, prayers
for anybody that I had to go through, you know,

(06:30):
some some tough times with that. But I think we're
in the clear now and in heading into the Derby season.
Should it should be another fun year here and here
in Louisville for for the Derby.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
That's right, everything kicks off and it all starts off
with WrestleMania. Now, no thunder over Louisville, So we're getting
kicked off WrestleMania. It's going on well in Las Vegas,
going on at a Legion Stadium. Billy you and I
were at WrestleMania forty last year still one of our
favorite WrestleMania events. It was your first, my second, our first,
our first event that we got to do as baby

(06:59):
Fait as credentialed media, and I know about you due,
but I'm having some severe fomo seeing some of our
friends that are there now, like our guy Graham from
Bleacher Report, our guy from Sports Illustrated that was there
that we ran into last year. Really really fun people,
glad that they're having a good time. WWE World last
year was the first time that they've really like introduced

(07:20):
it again. It used to be WWE Access and it
kind of went to Superstore for a while. Then it
became more of an immersive experience and they've gotten everything up.
It now looks even bigger and better than it was
last year. Now that they're starting to get some footing
under it, I'm pretty sure it's going to return back
to the old WWE WrestleMania Access that we always used
to see you on, like the packages leading up to WrestleMania.

(07:42):
So it looks really fun. Vegas looks like an awesome
freaking time. But I'm pretty sure we're going to do
it again sometime. There's next year. It's going to be
in New Orleans. That could possibly be a little bit
easier of in a trip. And of course that they
ever come to Indianapolis, we got to be there. It's
just two hours up the street, makes it easier for everybody.
But it's across it's literally across the United States. A

(08:03):
little bit tougher a trip. I'm getting married this year,
you have a kid, So unfortunately our wrestling fandom has
to take a little bit of a side street as
much as a hoop with that. But it happens, and
we got a taste of the life, and now I
just want a little bit more. But it's all right,
I'll be a little patient. We'll get it next year.
So yeah, yeah, we'll go ahead and start off with

(08:24):
the card Billy with fourteen matches. It's a lot of
wrestling going on, so we'll go ahead and start off
with Night one. This is what I assume the order
is going to be, So let's just go ahead and
start off with a bang. I'm just gonna I'm just
gonna assume that they open up with the World Heavyweight
Championship Matt Gunther versus Jay Usso what's your thoughts on

(08:44):
all this whole feud. Do you feel a little bit
better after this? Because I know you're rocking the main
event jay USO's shirt right now. You were a huge,
huge supporter of jay Uso winning the Royal Rumble. A
lot of people have just kind of been a little iffy.
They've been up until about a couple of weeks ago
when things started getting personal with a gunther attack and
Jimmy Usso it's kind of felt a little bit flat.

(09:05):
How you feeling about this now than what you were
a few months ago?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Well, to start, I want to start with the match
potentially opening the show. It's been heavily rumored. You know,
It's happened plenty of times in WrestleMania history where they
open with like a big title match to get the
crowd into it and whatnot, And it does seem like
it's leaning that way. But we were texting about this
like a couple weeks ago. I was very adamant that
this should this match shouldn't open the show because it's

(09:29):
turned into such like a blood feud, a personal thing,
and WE does such a great job with their video
packages leading up to matches, right, so I think if
this match opens the show, They're probably not going to
have a video package for it, because that'd be weird
to kind of like, boom, you're in the show and
then oh, let's play this promo real quick. I just
feel like that wouldn't flow very well. So I'm afraid
that they're not going to show this package that shows

(09:51):
like how personal this feud has become, and I think
that it really needs that, especially for you know, just
the casual audience that might not tune into every single thing. Uh.
You know, a lot of casual fans do watch WrestleMania
compared to the rest of the events of the year,
so that you know, they like to know the story
behind the match, and I think that this has developed
into a pretty good story. You know, Jay Uso being
an ultimate underdog and then you know gun Through just

(10:13):
being this badass heel that you know, took out his brother,
and it's become very personal. It's become, you know, a
really good, uh blood feud. So like, I feel like
you need that story leading into it. So that's why
I'm not a fan of it opening the show, But
I do think that it is going to open the show. Unfortunately,
you know, they're gonna Jay USO's music's gonna hit. People

(10:34):
are gonna go crazy doing the yat and all that.
So yeah, I do think that's what we're heading towards.
As for the winner, there's another thing we've kind of
texted about, you know. Is there a chance I'm gonna
pass this back over to you? Is there a chance
that Jay Uso does not walk out of WrestleMania forty
one as the world champion.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I think that there's a small chance that that happens.
As Daniel the Engineer makes his debut on the baby
Faces podcast, Daniels, Yeah, a shout out the Daniel, one
of the everything man's here at the radio station. I
I mean, I've I've sat there and thought about it
because we as wrestling fans, we always like to look
for the swerve and if something seems kind of too

(11:13):
good to be true, something kind of seems like, oh yeah,
this is happening. Wrestling's always been known, especially WWE around WrestleMania,
to take you the complete opposite way. So I wouldn't
be shocked if something happens and Gunther wins wins this
just but like they faced each other three different times before,
this is the exact same main event that we got

(11:33):
at Saturday Night's main event a couple months ago, and
it really wasn't all that great of a match in
the first place. But they've done a little bit more
of just trying to get it, like you said, a
blood feud. They've entered. They've entered to make it a
little bit more personal with Jimmy Usso getting attacked, so
you can definitely see that sort of plan a factor.
But leading up to before that, man, I feel like

(11:53):
we've seen everything that there is to be seen. We've
already seen even before Gunther did it this time around,
He's came out through the crowd, would jay USO's music.
We've had jay Uso come out and ambush Gunther. Gunther
come out and ambush Jayusho. There's been a pull apart,
and it's always reverted back to me, well, we already
know where this is going, and this is just going
to be a carbon copy of what we saw last

(12:15):
year's WrestleMania with Gunther and Sammy Zain, And even though
that was a good moment for Sammy's Ain, it still popped.
There's something that felt a little bit empty of me,
just because I felt like we didn't get the fullest
potential that we could have gotten with Gunther out of
that icy title rain, it could have went even longer.
I also feel the same thing about the World Heavyweight
Championship here as far as it opening the show, and

(12:35):
I've gone back and forth with you telling if it
being in Vegas, I can totally see them going to
like a Snoop Dogg or some sort of opening the
show cold with some sort of hosts there, Welcome to
wrestle Mania, and then they point at the video package
and boom, it just starts off with the Gunther video
package and Jay Us and it all starts off that

(12:57):
I would I wouldn't imagine that they would do the Hi,
Welcome to WrestleMania, and then it's just me ooh starts playing.
They're they're definitely gonna give you that WrestleMania And you
mentioned it with the with the video packages, and I
guess we'll kind of get into it later. But as
we kind of wrap it up with the build up
to WrestleMania, it seems like if you weren't like a

(13:18):
watching fan, I've been watching every single, every single show
the last couple of weeks. As we get ready for WrestleMania,
and I've felt a little let down by some of
the build But if you're someone like you, you've kind of
been busy and you've kind of just been tuning in
and out and been able to watch whatever you see, uh,
whatever you're able to catch while you're putting the baby
to sleep or whenever you're scrolling on a Twitter. For

(13:38):
people that haven't been watching like every single day, that's
not like the the diehard's leading up to this. I
think it's a it's a video package WrestleMania. You're gonna
see the video package of Gunther beating up Jay and
of the blood and him wiping it down and then
you can't do it, and that's gonna get you invested.
You're gonna see the video package of Cody Rhodes being on.

(14:00):
You're gonna show them Cody Rhodes and John Cena from
probably twenty years ago, maybe them they'll get a picture
of them at like OVW or something and when they
first started out. You're gonna you're gonna see the videos
of the Make a Wish and John Cena turning his back,
even though that's been a lackluster feud. Every every feud
that we have this weekend. It's gonna have a fun
video package that Jake car gild Naomi stuff all that.

(14:24):
So it's it's gonna be a fun like catching you
up on what's happening, even if you haven't been a
fan of what's been filled in. Everything is just seemed
to be like a milestone point and what to put
in a promo package just in my opinion, what this mean?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Yeah, And I mean that's you know what makes WrestleMania's special.
It is all the extra stuff they would get, right.
You get the set reveal, you get, you know that
big time atmosphere, you get the video packages, you get.
It's the things that we look forward to every year.
That the little things. But it does mean a lot
at the in the end, and I agree that the
video packages do such a good job. Even though this

(15:00):
this build has been lackluster for the most part, I
think a lot of people would agree, especially compared to
last year. But the video packages make it seem like
it was so much more you know, fun than what
it actually was. So they just do a phenomenal job
of those. Every year I sent you, they released the
Roman ragn see them Punk and Seth Rolin's video promo

(15:21):
on social media. My god, I mean, if you know,
it's been a good feud, but that that package makes
it seem like it was the feud of the century.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
So yeah, that's not time they brought rock music back.
Like that's always like heavy like indie rock music that
does so much to just like professional wrestling and like
tying in like a good feud. So I like that.
I was, I was shocked when you sent me that.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
So to get my prediction for this match, I'll say,
my guy, I mean, I got a ride with my
guys I used. So you know, it does seem though,
like they kind of booked themselves into a corner a
little bit. Like you know, Gunther is his rain has
been kind of underwhelming in a way, like I don't
feel like they've booked him very well. He's had so
many matches with jay Uso and just this reign alone,

(16:07):
he didn't really go broaden his horizons or was able to,
you know, with guys like punk and and you know,
maybe aj styles like like some some matches a lot
of people have been complaining about that have been happening
on house shows with guntherro you know, defending his title.
We never got to see those on on TV. We
never got to see those feuds develop in person. And
now you're, you know, hot shotting Jay into this main

(16:28):
event spot at at WrestleMania, winning the Rumble in this
big moment. You know, the fans are behind him in
the arenas and and it's it's it feels like it's
now or never for Jay because if he doesn't win here,
like what was the point of the Rumble? Win? Really?
Like you know, so it feels like booking themselves in
a corner, like could Gunther's reign last longer? And it

(16:49):
would be a good thing, absolutely, But if Jay loses,
where does that leave him? Is he ever gonna be
a world champion? Like this is his moment right here,
And I guess you could argue, like, you know, the
whole Cody Roads loss from thirty nine and then he
avenges it a year later, like maybe that could be
a road for Jay where it's so he's constantly on
the chase. So I guess you could go down that path.

(17:10):
But I'll say they open the show Jay USO win
in your world title.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think
Babyfaces go over to start the show. It gets everybody hype.
I feel like having this match towards the end of
the show, since it's gonna be so emotional that that
moment of Jay having everyone wait until the end and
if you know what's not gonna be like the main event,
especially since they announced the Triple Thread is gonna go last. Like,

(17:34):
if that goes before the Triple Thread, I can be
I can see some people just kind of like emotionally
feeling like all right, as opposed that you were to
like go ahead and start off the show hot, if
you want to have some fillers in before there and
just build people back up for that main event. So
I think they're gonna do so, I think, yeah, I'm
with you. I think Jay Uso wins. It's now or
never for him. I don't believe his character if he

(17:56):
doesn't win it. I think that this is a spot
where thank you for all the T shirt tails, thank
you for all the Yeat sales, the glasses. They now
have a WWE world like frosted flakes that are like
Yeats now, so they're gonna be They're gonna be running
with that. Give him a couple of months say thank
you for everything that you've done. Go sell, Go sell
a little bit more merchandise. Unfortunately, I think it's gonna

(18:19):
be more of like a transitional champion. But I'm pretty
sure that Jay Us is fine with That'll get the
spotlight for a few months and then we'll we'll get
another superstar that's ready to go. Ahead. Take that. He
did everything that he could. He got his moment, and
that's probably all that you could wish for, if you're right.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
That's I mean, as as a wrestler, I feel like
your ultimate end goal is to have one true WrestleMania
moment like that. That is that's it's their super Bowl
right always to have that one moment that you can
always hold on to. You know, I did that, and
that's you know, like Kofey Mania, the Daniel Bryant movement,
Cody winning it last year, like you know, Batista and

(18:55):
Cina winning at twenty one, like those are things that
you'll you'll cherish the rest of your career. So I
think that's, uh, that's what Jay's end for, and like
you said, I do think he deserves it with how
he's gotten himself over, you know, how he sells merch
and you know his reaction that he gets when he
comes out, so obviously I'm biased. I love Jay Uso.
He's my guy right now and excited. I'm excited about

(19:15):
this match and hopefully seeing him when when the world title.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yep, I think that's gonna happen. It's gonna kick off
the show. It's what it's looking like. It's gonna kick
off the show, at least according to uh CBS Sports.
Right here after that, a little shoeing right here, you
got El Grande Americano versus Ray Mysterio. Have you been
following along with, Yeah, Gable going to the Lucca thing.

(19:39):
Not Chad Gable yet, right? We don't know that this
is the speculation that that could be Chad Gable, but
a new luchador making his WrestleMania debut against one of
the most famous luchador's, most historic Hispanic wrestler of all time,
Ray Mysterio. Get any thoughts on this match.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
I'm for one surprise, do some sort of like mask
versus mask stipulation, Like this whole thing really just revolves around, like, oh,
we got to reveal that this is actually Chad Gable,
Like that's the heat behind this feud is that Chad
Gable is impersonating this loucha door. But maybe that's down
the line, right, Maybe they want to give Chad Gable

(20:18):
to win here over Mysterio, and obviously you can't have
Mysterio los his masks, so maybe you know that happens
in some sort of like flukey way, and then you
lead to a backlash match where it's actually mass versus Mask,
and then Ray goes over and they reveal like, oh,
it's been Chad Gables the whole time. Obviously we won't
do that, but you know, part of the fun little
story they're telling here. You know, it's a good it's
a good, little fun feud, something a little different and

(20:42):
gets two guys on the card that obviously deserve it
and two guys that can go. I mean, there should
be a pretty a pretty fun match to you know,
pretty early in the show here, keep keep the energy
going with these two. So and I'm glad Chad Gable
gets a spot, you know, on WrestleMania this year after
being left off last year. Definitely guy that's heavily underused.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Been on the show by the way for end of
the show.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yeah, absolutely, you know, he has a really good charactery. Obviously,
his in ring work is great too, So I'm surprised that,
you know, he hasn't taken another step forward, but you know,
being on many of this year commared to last year,
you can look at that as a step forward. I
think he gets the win here too, so you know,
we'll see kind of where that storyline goes after this.

(21:25):
But yeah, give me el Grande Americano is that his name? Yeah,
for the win.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Yeah, it's interesting. I think I like Chad Gable. I
think he's one hell of a competitor too. He's in
crazy shape. I used to have the body that he did,
but I stopped eating my weedies, so that's probably something
that you never want to get off of. This thing
that he's doing with the Lucid organmmic is, to me,
is way more interesting than anything that he's doing with

(21:52):
American Made right now. Like, I don't really understand the
Creed brothers all that much. I just don't get all
their hype. I do like the one dude that's very strong.
I think his name is Julius. I I do like him.
These guys are incredibly fit. However, they're gimmick I just
don't understand. I don't know how they're bad guys. I
don't Uh, what's the girl's name that's with them? Uh,

(22:15):
let's see, I'm missing.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
It was Ivy, Ivy, Ivy and.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Ile that's right. Yeah, of course, how could we forget? Yeah,
that's not interesting to me. Whatever they're doing. I thought
the whole thing and reminded me of Luca Luca Underground.
I don't know if you watch that show, but all
all of our fans out there that watched that when
he was in search of Luchador, I don't even like
know where the start. It was a whole Pensa thing.
It's all started from him not being able to beat
Pensa when Pena debuted. So I was hoping there's a

(22:42):
little more understory and we circle back to that somehow.
We goes into the dark alleys of Mexico and goes
to find King lucid Or that hands them this box,
and this box is gonna give him everything, and I
guess that's where he transitions into that. I'm way more
interested in that story and anything he's doing right now
leading the tag team, like, well, they're not good, that's

(23:04):
not like the new Team Angle. It's not gonna be
like what Jason Jordan and Chad Gable was way back then.
It's just it's just a weird way of just putting
shoot wrestlers together and just saying, all right, these guys
are badass, are led by Chad Gable.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
And you make a good point. It's like they did.
They literally told the story of all right, Chad Gable
is going to be gone for a couple of weeks
learning the Luca door style, and then this random guy
comes back that's obviously Chad Gable and now they're like
plant but like they literally told you he's going to
learn luchor this new Lucador comes that's obviously Chad Gable,

(23:40):
and now Chad Gable's like denying that it's him. So
why was there never an answer for why he went
to it? Definitely is like they didn't tell the best story.
I think it's been like a fun thing on Raw,
like some comedic relief here and there.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
But it's the Hogan Mister America thing that.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
They yeah, yeah, we'll see where, We'll see where it goes.
But like I said, I think it's good that Gable
at least gets on the card this year.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
They started out early like making like it seem like
it wasn't Chad Gable. It was like so overt, like,
obviously that's Chad Gable, And but there was also at
the at the time, Ray Phoenix was still in talks
of coming over, and some people thought that that could
have been Ray. They showed they showed a shot where
Chad Gable was being interviewed backstage and someone I think
it was Kathy Kelly, one of my favorites, had asked

(24:27):
had asked him like, is like, what are you doing
out there? And he's like, I don't know what you're
talking about. And it shows a shot of security guards
wrestling that supposed dude out of there. So I thought
that could have taken a fun turn. Even at the
end of the day if it all turns out to
be Chad, I would love to see more of that.
But now it's just kind of hot shot and into
the Ray mysterial thing. At the end of the day,

(24:47):
this is definitely where where Chad Gable or I'm sorry,
oh Grande Americano gets his win, and uh, they'll they'll
definitely do the face reveal sometime, but if they're this
is a new character that they're trying to dive deeper into.
Why not a better, better opponent than have Ray put
you over? So I think that should be probably like
a quick match, it's just going to be a storyline match.

(25:09):
That one should be pretty fun. Moving on a tag
team matcher World Tag Champions, the war Raiders are taking
on the New New Day Kobe Kingston and Xavier Woods.
What you think about their heel run so far and
now they're taking on the war Raiders. War Raiders ever
since finally getting healthy having Eric and Ivar back this

(25:30):
last year, they've been very, very very good in terms
of like the tag team division. They've been having really
good matches. Nothing for the New Day. New Days kind
of fell stale for me. After they kind of turned heel.
They still kind of like they're not They don't fully
dive into the bad guy thing yet. I thought they're
gonna be a little bit more darker. They're still sort

(25:50):
of goofy. I just don't necessarily get I thought they
would be more serious, like kick your ass kind of
hurt business type of deal. But there's there's still the
New Day, but with frownie faces, you know what I'm saying, yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Yeah, it hasn't hit for me either. In this few
just really seems like it sprung out of nowhere just
because they like randomly face each other on a roll
and then it was like, oh, we don't like these
guys and yeah, you know, it's one of those where
there was no story behind it. There was no like
number one contenders, tag team turmoil match or something like.
It was just all of a sudden, the New Day
got a title shot because they turned hell basically m m.

(26:24):
And then it what it ended like a double count
out or double discord or something, you know, and then okay,
we'll just put it on Mania. So I don't understand
why this is on Mania. This could have been saved
for maybe the raw after Mania or something like that.
You know, I don't know. It just seems like it's
kind of a filler match, and that that's you know,
Russell Media does need those because it's a long, long

(26:47):
two days and you need some breaks in between, like
the big moments like jay Usa win the world title,
which I do. I think I feel like this match
will follow that because the crowd will be like so
amped up, yeah, and then like all right, let's bring
him back down for a second before getting into like
the meat of the card, you know. So I'll take
New Day, I guess because it seems like they're trying
to push this heel this heel turned but and you know,

(27:08):
the war Raiders, well a good tag team, I just
feel like they haven't really built them, Like we don't
really know what they're about. Still. Yeah, you know, they're
just kind of like a good and ring tag team.
But you know they used to be the Viking Raiders whatever.
Now they're the war Raiders, and what makes them that
other than just them looking like you know, big burly guys. Right,

(27:29):
So yeah, I'll take the New Day here.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Yeah, I think I think New Day gets it too.
I seem like a lot of potential meat was left
on the bone, especially with because the whole core of
them turning bad guys was basically telling like big Ee
to fuck off.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Well, I guess big Ee could get involved here.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Too, and that's what that's what I'm hoping for. It's
got to circle back to Biggie somehow, So like Biggie's
just gonna like just take that verbal abuse and like
never talk to these guys again. Surely he's got to
come in and hit somebody with the big ending or
a spear or something like that. But I don't know
which is just the way that they're building it up.
It seems like they'd like to have New Day when
the titles again, so maybe they gets played on sometime

(28:08):
down the road that they circle back to that. But
every everything just kind of weird for that. If I
if I'm there as a fan, or even if I'm
there as media, this is probably this is probably all right, Billy.
I'm going to catering. I wanna see what kind of
food they have up there during this match, and I'll
come back and this is where this is where I
mingle and our rub elbows with everybody up in the
press box. So this doesn't interest me all that much.

(28:29):
I do think that we get a change in and
tag team Champions. They go with someone a little bit
more familiar with Kofi Kingson and Xavier what's Kovie Kingson
in front of the show box. So now we move
on to man, I'm starting to look at the I'm
starting to look at these these matches. It's and I
almost forgot about this one. So Jade Cargill and Naomi
so Jade Cargill making her WrestleMania debut last year. I'm

(28:53):
pretty sure that may have been her wrestling debut if
if I remember right, n w W was and that
triple threat or in that six.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Wait did she return? Did she return? Did she come?
Debut at the Rumbles? Maybe? And then she didn't rush She.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Did debut at the Rumble yes? Yes, So like she
had that and I think this was like her first
ever match and now she's back with she's tussling with Naomi,
the person that she fought alongside with in Philadelphia last year. Uh,
that was a pretty good story that they had going
along with the I still think and we'll eventually ended
up talking about this with the Raw Women's Championship match,

(29:31):
Bianca bell Air is kind of all over the place.
I feel like she fits a little bit more into
this storyline because obviously those are the two best friends
that they've been telling the story along with. And I
still think that there's a possibility that they come out
and say Bianca is the one that orchestrated this attack
on Jade Cargill in the first place, and Naomi's just
a red herring and being the faithful friend of Bianca

(29:53):
and just taking this beating. We'll see where that goes.
I thought that the Naomi and Jake car Gil and
Bianca they've been cinematically a couple weeks ago when this
all got started, they had some really good segments in
the ring. Still, as far as like this match, I'm
really not a huge Naomi fan. I do like Jake Cargill,

(30:14):
friend of the show, but she's just been very so
limited in these roles. It's gonna be kind of hard
to expect like a banger match out of her. But
at the same time, I'm not expecting five star matches
from Jade Cargo. I want you to come out. I
want you to look freaking hot. I want you to
look like muscular and look like you should be on WrestleMania.
That's gonna be fine, But I'm afraid that fans are

(30:36):
going to reject this, and they're going to probably get
a more of a negative opinion that they do on
Jade car Gill already, because they're probably gonna be expecting
a lot because this was a huge investment for WWE
a little over a year ago when they brought her in,
so putting her on the spotlight, putting her on a
card against an extremely athletic one hell of a worker
against Naomi. I don't think it's gonna live up to

(30:57):
what fans will expect it. And I'm pretty sure that
I just don't want them to turn on Jade Cargill
for this.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Yeah, and with the whole Bianca thing, it makes no
sense to why Bianca was involved, Like this is her
best friend and whatnot, and there was this whole attack
and she was heavily involved in it, and then she
wins the Chamber and just completely just moves on to
the to the world title scene, which like any competitor
would do, like like I'm not gonna waste my time
with you all if I have a world title shot.

(31:24):
But why did she win the Chamber in the first place,
Like it doesn't make it. The booking makes no sense there.
We should have just had Ria versus EO one on
one for the title. Had EO win the chamber, she's
the number one contender. She takes on Ria, who is
the world champion, and then Bianca should have been involved
in this feud and we should have got this should
have been the triple threat women's match. Yeah, Bianca versus

(31:46):
Jade versus Naomi. This was the team that teamed up
last year in Romania and it's now off, you know,
came apart, So let's blow it off at this WrestleMania
with this great story that they actually did tell. But
instead we just give this one on one match, which
will be fine, and they still told a good story
with it, right, And it's actually shout out to to
these women. I believe it's the first non title women's

(32:08):
match in wrestle media history.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Uh wow, single I didn't even know that singles match
of course.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So that's a great spot for them,
and and and you know, kudos to them for telling
a story worthy enough of that, but it just seems
like Bianca should be involved here, and for that reason,
I'm I'm not as interested as I should be. I
do think Jade goes over, though, because you know, what's

(32:33):
the point of this if Jade doesn't go over. You know,
she was that God attack. This is her vengeance moment.
So yeah, I think Jade goes over. Hopefully it'll be
you know, hopefully they get a decent amount of time,
have a good little, you know, ten minute match, and
give jadea good you know, a good Mania moment that
she can hopefully build off on and and and get
into the world title picture eventually.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
I think Ja Squasher, I think should go go ahead
and protect her. All you much is have j Squash.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Sure this is you could have just like a five
minute like you know, Brock versus Goldberg type match where sure,
boom boom boom. You know, both of them hit their
biggest moves over and over, and you know, finally Jade overcomes,
you know, hits her one that puts her over the top.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
You know, have this turn into a brawl, spill out
in the parking lot injure her the same way she injured.
You throw you out on a car or something like that,
and that's how you get your look back. I do
think Jade Cargill wins this one. We'll jump one over
to another one that this guy kind of just got
hot shoted in there, just because I feel like the
company had nothing for these guys to do up until
a couple of weeks ago. But the United States Championship

(33:38):
La Knight and Jacob Batu, I feel like everybody has
an idea of who's gonna win this match and who's
gonna walk out us champion.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
What do you say this one's tough. I mean, I
assume you're leading to Fatu winning the title with that statement.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
I'm thinking, so I'm probably not, and.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
It's because like, how could he lose because they're building
him as this monster, right, But l A Knight did
literally just win the title back that he probably should
have never lost in the first place. This match could
be a hell of a lot more interesting if LA
Knight didn't, you know, was in the midst of a
long title reign.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
I think personally the shin skin knockemore. Yeah, title run was.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Weird, made no sense at all. So now you know,
you put the title back on him and you put
him in this match with this monster where it seems
like LA Knight just simply can't go over here. But
at the same time, like, how do you in that
title reign so quickly? You know, I don't know, I'm
kind of on the edge here. Maybe Solo gets involved
in like turns on Jacob and then you get that,

(34:40):
I mean that.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Could cost or cost him like uninten Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
That kind of starts their little you know, beef and
you lead that to SummerSlam maybe, whereas La Knight can
continue this US thought because I think having the title
in La Knight makes a lot of sense. Right, He's
your biggest you know, upper mid card right now face
and eventually he will be hopefully, you know, maybe money
in the bank winner and and world title eventually.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Other than ju So he's probably getting the loudest reactions
at the live shows and the house shows. Everyone loves
his music, everyone loves a gimmick.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
So I feel like it's worth it to keep the
title on him until you're ready to bump him up
into that you know, main event picture where he eventually
wins the world title, hopefully of course. So you know,
I'm gonna I'm gonna say that La Knight does go
over here. I think I think that we'll go with
the whole Solos codes at ringside and you know, tries
to help out Jacob and inadvertently messes something up and

(35:37):
l A Knight you know, gets like a roll up
pin or something like that to protect Jacob obviously from
taking a clean loss. But I do think that, you know,
just keep the title on l A. Knight for the
foreseeable future and kind of go from there.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Also, this match, this match should have been like a
six man ladder match.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
That's what we had originally thought. It was, Yeah, like
that would He's going to be the spot.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
You got all these guys on the SmackDown with nothing
to do with Mania, you know, Carmelo, Hayes, Braun Strowman,
you know, guys that have been involved in the US
title picture over this number of months, So it makes sense, like,
all right, let's just throw them all, you know, in
a ladder match like they have done in the past
with the Interfundemental Championship and whatnot. So yeah, that makes
that made no sense to me. I was shocked that
it was just gonna be one on one. But it

(36:23):
should be a good I mean two of the future.
You know, big time guys that they have that there
are gonna have to be a big part of what
they're doing moving forward, so it should should be a
fun match.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
I agree, And I think I may have let you
convinced me that l A. Knight has a chance here
because now when thinking about it, he's he's had his
issues with the Bloodline, the newer edition of Solo's blood Line,
the blood Line two point zero. But I feel like
more times than not, the this version of the blood
line has been duped and has been like outsmarted a

(36:56):
lot of the times in your like original one where
the silent Solo and then the Ussos and of course
the mastermind of at all Roman reigns. Not a lot
of things was getting past them. But now you have
a Tongaloa and Tomatanga. They're kind of like befuddling idiots,
like they're they're great performers and they're fun to watch,
but that's more been less their character. People have been
getting one over on them. They haven't more times than not.

(37:19):
They're not the ones laying people out and hosting the
ones over somebody on a broken table. They're always getting
the best of. They're always getting gotten the best of.
So I can and with all reports showing that this
WrestleMania they were hoping to do a Jacob versus Solo
having one of the biggest matches so far Jacob's career,
it's his first real big match on his first WrestleMania stage,

(37:42):
be one hell of a vote of confidence. If they said, Okay,
you're going over look like a million bucks tear La
night up and you're walking out with a championship. I
something tells me that, Yeah, I think you're right. Maybe
soften him into this main event spot with having him
beat Solo, have the friction between him and Solo finally
come to blows and that could be done at SummerSlam.

(38:05):
And they tried investing a lot in Solo Socoa. They
had him absolutely dismantled John Cena at the Saudi Arabia
show about a year ago, and just something doesn't seem
to be hitting with Solo as much as they thought
they would. Maybe bringing in Jacob. Jacob is a star
having I think he might have outshined Solo Socoa and

(38:25):
taking some of that star away from him, which I
hate to see, just because I was a Solo fan.
But his singles runage has been kind of met, and
then you bring on somebody like Jacob Fatu. But conversely,
I think Jacob is ready for this moment. He's no
spry chicken when it comes to this. He's been doing
this at MLW for a long time, just as long

(38:45):
as La Night has. They they've gone back to wrestling
each other in California and the independent circuits out in
LA So like they know what they have in Jacob Fatu.
So I could totally see that, but for storyline purposes,
I could see they've been trying to tell a story
of Solo coming in and trying to apologize for being
the kind of leader that he was and someone that
Jacob and Tongas couldn't look up to. I can see

(39:08):
him kind of being a befuddling idiot and inadvertently costing
Jacob the title and them come to blows. Right here's
I think I'm a ride with you, Billy, since you're back.
It's the first time doing it in a while. You're
a dad, you know a little bit better than I do. Now,
maybe that's changed your outlook on how you watch wrestling
once you become a dad. I think you get. You
get plus five percent of wrestling. Yeah, you get. You

(39:31):
get another Hall of fame added to your Hall of fame,
dadge added to your stats. You know what, we'll We'll
go with l A Night here. Let's uh it's I
I agree. They just kind of put it gave him
the title again.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
So and it like this whole Jacob Thaw too being
in this match. It seems a little too soon to me,
Like it's like you could build this up like l A.
Knight last year, right, instead of throwing him into the
US title match at WrestleMania, which a lot of us
expected to see versus Logan Paul at WrestleMania. Instead, they

(40:02):
had him win, you know, a singles match over aj
styles and get built up a little more than that
summer slamming at his big moment winning the US title
from Logan Paul. It seems like Jacob Fatsu could have
used you know, a buffer like that before he wins
the title, you know what I'm saying. So it just
seems like this would be a little too soon. You
got to the moment should be bigger, right, like he hasn't.

(40:24):
This is his first title match, like, you know what
I'm saying, So I would it one surprised me either way.
It's about as fifty fifty as match as I see
on the card this year. But yeah, we'll go with
La Night.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Yeah yeah, yeah, almost a friend of the show by
the way, but there's some scheduling conflicts, but going to
a friend of the show next match is probably gonna
comin eiment. This night, we have Tiffany Stratton, who just
made her appearance on the show two weeks ago. That's
that's still up there if you guys want to go
check it out. We had actually gotten her fresh off
of this heated, explosive promo that she had with Charlotte.

(40:58):
Everybody was going off the rails about it. She spoke
more on the baby Face about it. So go check
that out your free iHeartRadio app. Go check it out
on Apple Podcasts. It's on YouTube too. It's actually our
most successful YouTube video right now. It has over seven
thousand views and the most engagement we've ever had on
a YouTube video. And so you guys want to help
add to that, could check out all the other stuff

(41:19):
that whenever we do get WWE superstars any other superstars,
subscribe to the Babyfaces Podcast at Babyfaces Pod on YouTube.
Turn on that subscription notice. You'll be able to see
anytime that we upload new things like we're gonna do
with this today, also other platforms just as well, on Instagram, Facebook,
and TikTok at baby Faces Pod, we're gonna be doing

(41:40):
some fun stuff on there this weekend, clipping videos and
all that reacting to WrestleMania. But let's go to the
co main event of Night one. That's gonna be the
ww women Championship Tiffany Stratton defend the title against Charlotte Flair.
You think, what do you think about this match? You
think Tiffany retains or is Nepo Baby Flayir going out on.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
If Tiffany doesn't win here, it is an absolute travesty
because what is the point right like this is this
is the passing of the torch match that you ask
for WrestleMania. This is you know, this is John Cena
winning his first title WrestleMania twenty one. This is you
know that those big moments where you have the chance

(42:21):
to put over your future of the women's division, and
Tiffany Shratton here give her her first WrestleMania moment, going
over the most decorated women women's wrestler of all time
in Charlotte and somebody that was compared to, you know,
with her a lot, with them both being super athletic,
you know, blondes, you know, kind of the same look,
and you know they've been compared their whole careers as

(42:44):
far as Tiffany's concerned. So you know, it's funny. We
talked about this the first time we had Tiffany on
a while back, right talking about dream matches and opponents,
and and she mentioned Charlotte and and here we are
in the grand stage of WrestleMania. So I think this
is a Tiffany's weekend to shine and for WWE to
really put her over in a big way. So give

(43:06):
me in front of the show, Tiffy time at resume.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
I'm gonna go with that too. I think she's she's
obviously your next big star of the women's division. They've
done so much with taking care of her leading up
to this, with having her do the big spots. Now
she does the She does not the moonsalt that Flair does,
but she does like the swanton off of things. She's athletic,
very parallel to everything that Charlotte is classes styles. I

(43:31):
think it should be hoping for a fun match because
Tiffany can have a great match. I think back to
her match what she had with Becky Lynch on NXT
A street Fight, amazing match. Charlotte Flair has had one
of the best women's matches I ever seen two years
ago when she faced Rihea Ripley. So I'm just hoping
for a little bit of professionalism on their part that

(43:52):
you know, this is what you have to do, you
have to make a new star. Charlotte Flair is gonna
go down as a Hall of Famer eventually. She doesn't
need to add anything more to her list, at least
not right now, not in this spot against Tiffany Stratton.
She could get it back some other time, but this
needs to be a huge, huge stepping stone in Tiffany
Stratton's career. Go ahead and give her that win at

(44:12):
WrestleMania and would it would mean a hell of a
lot more for her going forward than it would for Charlotte.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
And oh yeah, I mean no doubt, Charlotte has nothing
to gain from anything else that she accomplishes in her career.
She should be at the point of her career where
she's doing stuff like this and getting the younger talent
over because they need that like in a few years. So,
you know, we're texting about this before the show started,
that you know, we are kind of at a turning

(44:38):
point in this boom area era of wrestling, where like
all these stars that are huge right now are kind
of getting, you know, into their forties and whatnot, and
they're going to start to take steps back here in
the next couple of years. So you need young stars
like Tiffany like Jacob plots, you know, like like Austin

(44:58):
Theory who has nothing going on, like Dominic Mysterio, who
we'll get into a little bit later.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
So yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Think that this WrestleMania should be heavily, you know, surrounded
around getting younger talent into you know, getting them ready
for when they need them to be those big, you know,
superstars and in a few years that are carrying the
company and carrying WrestleMania ticket sales. So this is definitely
one of those situations and Tiffany should most definitely go

(45:26):
over here.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Yeah, that's what I'm predicting to Tiffany, front of the
show goes over. It should be a fun next couple month,
right for her. Maybe we get into other fun feeds
for down the road with either maybe Becky Lynch returns,
Bailey gets in the mix, Beyonca bell Air somehow, if
they do a draft, we'll see how that goes. Now
we go into the main event. This is a triple

(45:49):
threat match. It's kind of been, depending on how you
feel about it, scrutinized just because of the lack of
stipulation here. But it seems that this is all story
driven between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins. What are
your thoughts We finally get the a couple of weeks ago,
we get the reveal of the big favor that's been
looming over everybody ever since a Survivor series war Games

(46:11):
with the with the Punk Roman Reigns saying, of course
you have the history between CM Punk and Seth Rollins
last year, and then just the evergreen history of What's
What's the Shield and the betrayal of Roman Reigns and
the ongoing story of him with Seth Rollins. What are
your thoughts on the build up of this match, the
favor and who do you have winning and closing out

(46:33):
WrestleMania Night one.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Well, you know, on paper, this match is as good
as it gets, right, Like the star power is off
the charts, these guys are all at the top of
their game right now. But as far as like the
actual feud, I've been very vocal about this just seems
like it's three different singles feuds thrown together in one
match just because they didn't have anything for CM Punk

(46:55):
to do at WrestleMania. So in that regard, I'm disappointed
and kind of the lazy booking aspect of that, but
they have done a decent job of at least building
a logical story centered around Paul Hamon, centered around Roman
reigns and Seth Rollins history of the Shield, you know,
centered around the favor and whatnot. So it has been

(47:16):
built into a good match, and like I said, the
video package is fantastic. You know, if you want to
get hype for this match, go watch that video. You'll
be like, all right, even though maybe I didn't agree
with how they booked all this, this is gonna be
you know, balls to the wall awesome. But for me,
it's just like, what's the end goal of this match?

(47:38):
Like what whoever wins? What does that lead to? Right? Like,
well to do is it the custody of Paul Hayman match?
Because that's kind of how it seems like right now.
Probably you know, there's no title on the line, there's
it just seems it just seems kind of odd, like
there's no ramifications of Okay, this guy just won, like

(47:58):
holy shit, you know, I know, Seth Rowlins mentioned something
on Rawl the other night where it's like, whoever wins
this match is the biggest triple threat in history because
whoever Wins will be the one to carry this company
for the next few years.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
Like, okay, that's the same thing he said last year
with the right.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
So I don't know again, I just feel like they
kind of threw this together because they couldn't think anything
better for Punk to get involved in. But it still
should be a very very good match, no doubt about it.
And as far as how I would book it, to
make it as big and entertaining as possible, I would
have Seth Rowins lining up for the chair shots spot

(48:37):
on Roman Reigns that they've done a million times. This time,
Roman Reigns finally foresees it happening like eyes in the
back of his head type deal, and ducks like right
when he's going to hit him, and Paul Hayman is
standing on the apron for some reason, like maybe consoling
Roman Reigns or you know, pretending to or whatever it
might be, and Seth just drills Paul Hayman with the

(48:57):
chair all right. So then Seth is looking on like,
oh shit, I just had Paul hamon And then you know,
Roman Rains is behind Seth at this point and you know,
going for that chair shot spot on him. But then
seeing Punk gets involved and once again, like that whole
chair shot, Roman being too obsessed with that, you know,

(49:18):
gets seeing Punk the win type deal. So, you know,
something along those lines of Roman's obsession with Seth ending
the shield years ago, which has been a story for
you know, all of Roman's career, gets in his head
once again, allowing Punk to get the win, and then
Punk and Hayman are aligned for the foreseeable future and
Romans on his own. That's kind of how I think

(49:40):
this could and should go. But I would love to
hear your your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
Yeah, I I actually when you sent me that, I thought,
you know what, that's really not a bad idea because
I think they're going to end up playing that chair shot,
and the distrust between Seth Rollins and Roman reigns is
always going to be evergreen going. It's always gonna be
something that they can always go back to. I don't
know who's gonna win this match. I'm having a hard time.

(50:07):
Roman's been in and out. He's made this feud a
lot better just because of his presence, and my god,
what a five to six year turnaround that he's had,
and just to make something as important with his sheer
presence is just amazing to see. And things started heating
up during that cage match in Madison Square Garden where

(50:27):
he came out. He attacked everybody and the footwork was
being laid of Paul Hammond's loyalty. Right. So something tells
me like they would love to get Roman reigns and
win on WrestleMania again. Also wouldn't be shot. I don't
think that CM punk either the wrestler. The wrestler does
in character, but like the person Phil Brooks, I don't

(50:48):
think he really gives a damn about winning the main event.
He's just always wanted to close the show at WrestleMania.
I'm sure he's fine with being there with his best friend.
I'm sure he's even more than happy with being there
and the two other biggest super stars that the company
has right now main event in the biggest show that
the company has. So I'm pretty sure he's happy with
that Roman reigns. I could see them wanting to give

(51:09):
a win just because he hasn't had much to do
since losing the title last year. He sort of feels
out of place and it's not like my tribal chief,
you know, like We've been so conditioned that he's main eventing,
he's carrying the legacy, he's carrying the bloodline literally the
last four WrestleManias, So to see him not in that
sort of style and them just going back to old

(51:29):
school wrestling, blood personal feud between these three guys. It
always seemed like the match was supposed to be Hayman
or it was supposed to be Roman versus Punk. You
date back to Survivor series wargames. WWE's most viewed video,
most liked viewed video. One of the two, it's either
most most viewed or most likedview most liked video was

(51:53):
when CM Punk When the when the music hits and
Roman stops CM Punk from going out there, and then
they have that they have that stare down right there.
So I originally think that that was the og. Planet
was going to be Roman, it was always going to
be Punk. But Loich leads me to the next one.
I think Seth Man, he's just he's kind of slowly
looking like he's kind of turning heel a little bit.

(52:15):
He's dropping in hints. Seth needs something like he's kind
of fallen a little bit flat. So this is where
I think you get the swer of everyone's expecting Paul
to stay loyal to Roman range, which can still happen.
I went on here and talked with Vigilantia a couple
of weeks back, saying, I mean they last year they
had Roman Reigns like induct Paul Hayman into like of

(52:38):
all the guys you could have had, induct Paul Hayman
into the Pro Wrestling WWE Hall of Fame, they had
Roman Reigns do it. And Roman Reigns has gone out
and said without no wise man, there is no tribal chief.
So I just always thought that that was complete immunity
from ever turning. I thought that was going to be
the last marriage that either of those guys ever had.
But this is wrestling, and things changed, so dummy, I

(52:59):
should have known that. Yeah, I'm thinking. I think, I'm
thinking Seth the lines with Paul Hayman. I don't necessarily
know what that means him, like winning the match or
if it's done with Shenanigans. Outside, in my heart, I
want to say Seth Rolins wins this, and it's gonna
come at the expense of the Oh my god, Paul

(53:19):
Hayman literally just did that and costed Roman reigns or
or see him punk. But there's so many other avenues
he can go down. He can line himself with Punk
going forward, and this is where you finally see a
punk go after that, go after that belt one last
time he has. He could face Randy Orton, he could
face Jay Us, so he can possibly face John Cena again.

(53:40):
You have that rivalry to go through. But well, that
one's so hard. It seems so obvious what could happen.
But at the same time, you can al you're always
gonna get to the rug pulled out from under your legs.
So I'm I'm gonna say Seth Rollins wins this. He
needs something to do. The other two guys don't need
it at all. Seth Rollins really really needs this, and
having Paul Haman line with them would would be good.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
Yeah, I don't I don't disagree. It just seems like,
like you said, maybe a little too obvious that the
swerve would be that, Oh, of all the people in
this match, Hayman ends up with Seth and you know
that's that's the big swerve or whatever. But so I
think they're gonna swerve the swerve if you will by
not having that happen. I do have something in store

(54:23):
for seth on Night two though, So okay, that's a
little that's a little tease for for when we get
in Night two here. But brief half time Austin, we
talked about doing a fun little thing here Mania themed.
A lot of people have been talking about the WrestleMania
set this year being bigger and better than it was
last year, and it was just revealed earlier today. But

(54:43):
in honor of the you know, awesome WrestleMania sets and
the NFL Draft being next week, I figured we do
a fun segment and we will draft all time WrestleMania sets. Right,
this is okay. We've done this in the past for
our loyal, longtime listeners, where we did our like top
five list called the top guys top five that's done
it in a while, say it to them. So this
is this is kind of like, you know, a different

(55:05):
version of that because a lot of times their top
five is Austin. We we overlap, right, we have a
lot of the same stuff, and we talked about, you know,
the same match or the same wrestler, whatever it might be.
Here we have to you know, once one gets strafted,
you can't pick it. So yeah, we'll do four rounds
best WrestleMania sets and awesome. Because I am so kind
and so nice, I'm going to allow you to pick first.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
Look, fatherhood is just maybe I'm salty. I know you're
You're just gonna go ahead and give me so that
this is gonna be our number one pick, like number one,
our overall favorite. Well easy, I'm gonna go with that.
WrestleMania thirty nine. My first WrestleMania There's nothing going with
you last year was amazing and seeing that just from
a different perspective, but nothing tops going to your first

(55:50):
WrestleMania and having that stadium just completely open up to you.
The WrestleMania goes Hollywood. I know that they've done it
before with the old Hollywood sign and stuff, but the
whole carpet theme, the aura surrounding that WrestleMania thirty nine
Los Angeles. I spent that whole week. There was in
Laguna Beach, Joshua tree Man. Nothing we'll top those vibes
ending and off in La on the on the pier

(56:13):
on at Sofi Stadium with my guy Nick. That's listening
and Sydney for that second night, My wonderful fiance. Amazing set.
I'm gonna go thirty nine. That the red carpet vibe,
red carpet stage probably my favorite.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
Yeah, the Holly number one, the Hollywood vibes always fun.
I thought they did a good job with both twenty
one and thirty nine with doing you know, kind of
that theme that was number three on my big board.
So okay, you didn't snipe my number one, but you
did snipe you know something that I put you out
later on I have thirty three and that was at Orlando.

(56:48):
They had like the roller Coastterro theme. The Ultimate Thrill
Ride was the tagline of the event. The overall event
did not live up to expectation, even though it looked
like a really good card on paper. You know, you
had Roman and Take, you had Brock and Goldberg, Randy
Orton and Bray Wyatt's and overall, the match that stole
the show was the opening match of aj Styles and

(57:08):
Shane McMahon of all of all matches, and the Hardy
Boys returning was awesome too, but you know, kind of
an underwhelming WrestleMania. But the set, oh my gosh, they
did such an incredible job on that set. You know
it overlooked kind of that they have like a little
lake in the background of that Citrus Full in Orlando,

(57:28):
and you know, the set was at the top of
the stadium. Basically they had like the globe and the
Ultimate Thrill Ride roller coaster. It's just literally awesome. They
went above and beyond for that one. So I'll take
thirty three.

Speaker 3 (57:41):
Yeah, I literally was. I'm on on my next one.
I'm gonna go down with the same theme. I didn't
love this WrestleMania, but I did love the set and
it's one of my favorite cities, New Orleans, Wrestlemandia thirty
four the Marty Gross mask and then you had they
the Marty Gross letters, huge, huge presentation. I loved it.

(58:02):
There's nothing there's nothing like the nothing like the super Dome,
especially when WrestleMania is there. New Orleans is a vibe.
The colors really really fun stuff. Can't go wrong with
the simple Marty Gross theme, and that's what they did.
I loved all the colors. To me, a very underwhelming WrestleMania,
but it's ill. We'll go ahead and take that with

(58:22):
my number two pick.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Well, you know, we were talking about there they're going
back to New Orleans next year, and I was I'm
very adamant that they should shouldn't go back to that
same you know, Marty Grawl purple yellow, I've already done it.
You you think that they should though, right, You think
it's a tried and true thing that like every time
they go there, they should do.

Speaker 3 (58:40):
It something with that bourbon street they're they're they're gonna
have to toss person with beads.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
I don't know, I think it'd be cool. And obviously
I'm very biased being a diehard New Orleans Saints fan,
but if they did like a black and gold type
theme like they did for Philadelphia last year, doing out
so that would be kind of cool, like do a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (59:00):
Seems like they're doing that whenever they go to these
stadiums like SummerSlam. They did the same thing with the
Browns Colors, Royal Rumble, they did the same thing with
the Colts colors. I could totally see them doing something
with the Saints down there that the Florida Lee of
some sort, I don't know, maybe have a maybe I
have a picture of Sean Payton's bounty list or something.
Like that. That'd be pretty fun to walk easy now,

(59:24):
that'd be great fun.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
My second pick, I will go right back to the
citrus boil in Orlando for my first WrestleMania I watch
in not in person, just first Wrestlming I watch in general,
my favorite WrestleMania of all time because of that, the
vibes were off the charts with this WrestleMania. Of course
talking about twenty four and this this one was super
special because you know, they hadn't done the they do

(59:46):
outdoor stadiums all the time now and ye it's become
kind of a you know, an expectation of WrestleMania, but
at this point in time, they hadn't really done outdoor
since WrestleMania nine, back when the right at the Caesar's Palace,
and so this was such a spectacle to see. You know,
once that that camera came on, I will never forget
like that opening shot. And again, this is my first WrestleMania.

(01:00:09):
I'm just getting into wrestling, and that really kind of
set in for me, like, oh my gosh, this is
such a big event, like such a big thing, and
they did such a great job turning you know, the
Citrus bol which is kind of an underwhelming, like you know,
kind of an older stadium. They turned it into what
looked like just like a tropical paradise. So, you know,
I thought the vibes of that WRESTLEMANI were just really fun,

(01:00:30):
just kind of like a spring break type vibe, the
whole wish you were here tagline, like it really did
make you have fomo of not being there. So you
talk about, you know, having fomo this year. I think
WrestleMania twenty four is the ultimate, you know, like, oh man,
that would have been so cool to be there live
for that event.

Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
So I feel like a capsule encapsulated orlandover.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
Yes, yes, so I'll take the two Citrus Bowl sets.
That's my top two.

Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
Back over to you, I'm gonna switch over to once
again kind of underwhelming WrestleMania, but also had a huge
match and also in one of my favorite places of
all time, New York City. That was done WrestleMania twenty
nine with that was that was that was rock Sena too.
I love that match. I love the build up to that.

(01:01:20):
Everything else is just kinda maah. You had you had
the Shields debut, WrestleMania debut. That was pretty fun to
help kick off the show. Eighty thousand people in attendance
for this. I love the Statue of Liberty hanging above
the ring. I love the Brooklyn Bridge, and everything about
New York is one of my favorite places I've ever

(01:01:41):
been to. Seeing that encapsulated all into a WrestleMania set
was awesome, and they always do it big in New York.
So I'm gonna have to go to WrestleMania twenty nine set.
Like I said, even though sort of underwhelming WrestleMania in
my opinion, that's actually when I started getting like right
back into it. I remember specifically watching it just for
that that John Cena rock main event that was really fun.

(01:02:05):
Obviously spawning off the once in a lifetime pal for
the previous year it was. It was really good, and
I can only imagine because we were in Philly last
year when it was freezing. People looked cold in that
stadium at met Life. Yeah, in New York, it's in
the East Rutherford technically a New Jurid, but it's New York.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Yeah yeah, yeah, No, I mean talk about like encapsulating
a city in your set, They no doubt did that
at twenty nine. The Statue of Liberty was super cool.
Just yeah, great New York vibes with that show in
Ceampunk versus tak Her very good match on that show
as well. So, you know, I think that is underrated
WrestleMania in a way that you know, it was kind

(01:02:45):
of just like it's probably middle of the pack as
far as WrestleMania goes, but it is kind of like
forgotten about just because Yeah, I feel like CNN Rock
two just didn't have as much hype as the first one.
It doesn't get talked about as much, all right for
my next one, Man, there's a there's a tough one.
It's kind of borderline where I could go one or
the other. I'll take WrestleMania in nineteen not like an

(01:03:10):
overwhelming set in a sense. But they did do it
at a baseball field, which they had a baseball stadium.
I forget Tropicana, maybe Safe Co, Yeah, yeah, Seattle, right, Yeah,
So it was kind of cool to see how they
did like the kind of slanted entrance ramp.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
You know, it just kind of it's been that long, right, It.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
Was just kind of different for that time, and you know,
they had kind of a cool like triangular WrestleMania. You know, visual,
So I think it was just kind of unique, unique looking,
and especially being in a baseball stadium, just kind of
a different type of vibe and Seattle kind of an
interesting location, you know. They don't they haven't gone back
there since for for WrestleMania actually, so yeah, I'll take

(01:03:57):
nineteen just and another good vibes WrestleMania, very good WrestleMania too.

Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
Yeah, yeah, I I love that. That was one of
my That was one of my favorite WrestleManias was nineteen
That uh that that that that that Shaw Michaels Christiericho match.
Amazing brock Lesner uh uh uh Kurt Angle match. Both
those guys were injured. You had Kurt Angle and a
broken neck. Brock Lesner wasn't even conscious the last ten
minutes of the match. Amazing stuff. And I was always

(01:04:22):
a huge brock Lesnar fan at that time, so I
wanted to see him fuck Kurt Angle up so bad
that my uh my second the last pick. We're doing five, right,
we'll do four. Okay, Well, let's let's just get let's
just oh okay, that puts me. Let me go with uh,
let me go with the WrestleMania. The WrestleMania nine, the

(01:04:43):
first in Vegas at Caesars Pow. Did I snipe you?
We'll go with the first one, the original one that
was outdoor and if you, if you, you know you're
the one that turned me onto the documentary because I
had no clue that was going on anyways. But going
back and revisiting and watching that on the Peacock Network,
it was really the first true WrestleMania with a theme,
a vibe in the Caesars Palace, what everything, A lot

(01:05:05):
of when we're talking about live production, me and you
have worked in live production before. They've never had like
any thoughts of my god, A lot of things could
go wrong out here with the weather, with the fans,
with they brought in live animals, they brought in the
Undertaker coming out with a raven, they brought in Bobby
Heenan was coming out on a camel, and they had elephants.
A lot of things could have gone wrong, but like

(01:05:27):
that was introducing and for the longest time they always
stayed on the East Coast. It was WrestleMania, was WrestleMania
in New York. It was WrestleMania at the Silver Dome
up North, and this is our first time ever coming
back to one of the most casual places on earth
in Las Vegas and really diving into that audience and
captivating everybody to come out watch that at Caesar's Palace
because all the big fights happened at Caesars, all all

(01:05:49):
the Tyson fights, all the Roy Jones Junior fights, everything
happened out there. Vegas was was like the New York
of the West, and they haven't dove out there during
that time, so that was a big risk for them
to take a really fun set and even though a
lot of people are underwhelmed by like the actual card,
that show was still fun to go back and watch
till this day because of everything surrounding that. It's perfect,

(01:06:10):
perfect set. In my opinion. Loved the documentary. The show
was kind of met ended up when a baby. It
ended up on the weird Hule Cogan coming out after
having the macho man black Eye and coming and ruining
Yokazuna's moment. And but for what it's worth, as much
as US wrestling historians love to go back and say
that that was crap, the fans blew up for a

(01:06:33):
whole Cogan coming back. They love that moment and that
was still a part of the time. We're back in
the day, got us in the fans home, happy pal
baby faces on top path Olk must pose. He came
out and he did it. Looking back on an hour're all, yeah,
screw that dude. That sucks. Brett Hart got robbed, Yokazuna
got robbed. But in the heat of the moment, fans

(01:06:53):
loved it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Yeah, And I did want to get into that with
the whole documentary coming out and whatnot. I feel like
non And is always kind of automatically considered the worst
WrestleMania of all time. I think that is asinine. There
are so many worst WrestleManias in that, And like you're saying,
the rewatchability of it is pretty good because there's not
like bad matches necessarily. You know, you have the Undertaker

(01:07:16):
and Giant Gonzalez, which is obviously you know, yeah, but
you still have like the h the allare of like
seeing the Undertaker and then this giant dude. Like there
there was still like an attraction and the overall just
like theme and the overall vibe of it was super fun.
So I hate how nine is just automatically just trashed on. Yeah,

(01:07:38):
it's a fun show. That's it was fun. It was
like that that's what wrestling was back then. It was
it was just fun, you know, over the top characters
and then that was of what that show was. So
it seems like everybody just like hopped on that bandwagon
of like, oh, nine sucks. Nine sucks. Go watch WrestleMania
eleven and get back to me. All right, all right,

(01:08:00):
my last pick, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with
this year's I'm gonna mix it up. They just revealed it.
They just revealed it, you know, an hour ago.

Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
It is. It is a pretty nice set. We'll we'll
put a picture up on our Facebook and Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:08:15):
It's a nice set. It's looking good. I'm excited to
see it. You know, the how they do the overall
production with it, and you know how the superstars entrances
and whatnot look on it. But right now, as far
as just like the the the bland, you know, the
just the basic look of it, it looks really really good.
So I love the Vegas theme that they're doing this year.

(01:08:36):
I think all the graphics they've done for it have
been really cool. The color scheme is cool. Allegiant Stadium
is an awesome stadium. I'm sure it's gonna look awesome
on TV. So yeah, I'll take I'll take Russel Annie
forty one.

Speaker 3 (01:08:48):
There we go, very very very cool set. Like I said,
I looked at it right before we came on. I
was more or less underwhelmed than the fact because I'm
a I'm a degenerate gambler. I was hoping to see
more gamp. I thought there'd be like a latte wheel
up there somewhere. I thought that there would be like
some sort of craps table or the h or or
or the fountain from out from the fountain out front,

(01:09:09):
the welcome to Vegas sign, something like that. But the
read I think this year's WrestleMania like that logo when
they had the WrestleMania sign where they debuted it at
the Royal Rumble a few months ago. I think that's
the best WrestleMania sign ever. That's really everything, like the
cards all behind it and stuff like that. So I
was hoping it would lean more into that that casino

(01:09:30):
type of element, but it looks like they're just more
or less getting the whole strip of l a if
you look at it and some of the fun stuff
on there, but now not not not a bad pick.
It's like, like you, I'm interested to see how it
correlates with like the wrestler's entrance and stuff like that.
It's it's gonna look amazing on TV. Dude, it's gonna
look awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Yeah. So there we go. There's our let us know
who you think won the draft. Of course, hitting us
up on social we can maybe posting on our stories
or something too.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
There's some ud fa, some undrafted that get didn't get
in there. I thought for sure you would go. You
seem to be a fan of WrestleMania twenty seven, so
I thought that that route it was well, you know,
it's just kind of weird. It just said WrestleMania on it.

Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
I liked the whole like it was kind of like
three D almost because yeah, it was you know what
I'm saying. That kind of made it look look a
little more like, oh my gosh, over the.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Top thirty seven. Uh, the one app straight after the pandemic.
They they had that one at Raymond James Stadium with
the with the big boat. That looked pretty cool, but
like there's still something that's hampered by half the audience
being there. That's still let's have forgotten WrestleMania, even though
it had one of the best WrestleMania main events at
that triple threat.

Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
I hate the uh hate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so
I just can't do it. Although it was really really
cool stage.

Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
It was it was raining too. I think it started
like two hours.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
It was, it was, it was.

Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
It was very weird. But let's move on to night too, dude.
There's a uh there, there's a lot to get into.
Let me go back to my card here. I just
had I just had it. Here we go, all right,
Night two of wrestle many will try to fly through
this a little bit more because there are some also
uninteresting things on here with with very weird build. I
assume we'll just go in this order. AJ Styles and

(01:11:15):
and Logan Paul I don't have too much to say
about this. Uh just the last couple last couple of times.
Both both guys need to win. In my opinion, both
guys desperately need to win. AJ Styles has been on
the shelf for a little while. Logan Pol I don't
think ever since losing the US title. LA Night I
think what was the Royal Rumble is only match that
he's been back at. Maybe the Elimination Chamber. I think

(01:11:37):
you did the Chamber too, But like, he hasn't really
done anything obviously. Like Logan, Paul is one of these
stars that you bring back to in these WrestleMania builds
because he's one of your more notable superstars that you have.
And I love AJ Styles ages Styles is going to
go down as a Hall of Famer, but he hasn't
been doing that much. And the uh, the last two

(01:11:57):
or three interactions that they've had, Logan's laid out AJ
so he stood over him. So I can't help but
think that Aj Styles is going to get the win here.

Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
Yeah, yeah, I can't. I can't really get a feel
for this match either. It depends what they have in
store for either of these guys. You know, if they
want to kind of put Aj in a world title feud,
then he could use the win. But it kind of
like last year he had that La Night match and
he he lost and then get into a world title
feud the next night against Cody Rhoads. So that did

(01:12:27):
make a lot of sense. Pretty much, it doesn't really
matter who wins the match. As far as WWE is
concerned sometimes with who's like in contendership for the title. Yeah,
I'll go with Logan Paul. I feel like Logan Paul
can use a win and probably has you know, more
of a of a future And I was just talking
about having to get your you know, your younger stars over.

(01:12:48):
I do think Logan Paul is probably heavily involved in
their plans for the foreseeable future, so you know, I
think he probably will be a world champion one day,
whereas a Just Styles, I'd say he's on the back
end of his career to say so, yeah, I'll.

Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
Yeah, I don't see AJ having a problem with putting
over a younger superstar, just as a fan of AJ
Styles would love to see him possibly just get one
one more big defining moment match. But uh, Logan Paul
is the perfect person to to steimy AJ styles momentum
and have everyone hate him.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
We'll move on to the other w W women's tag
team ship. I don't even know why they I don't
even know why they have both men and women's. I
don't know why they have multiple tag team champions. I
know that there's two shows, but there's you got guys
bounced guys and women bouncing from more team all the times.
It's it's just lame because the street profits also for

(01:13:39):
end of the show aren't even on this and their
title reign has kind of gone under. So, uh, live
Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. At least it's our girl. At
least it's live Morgan. Raquel Rodriguez isn't all that interesting
to me. But against Bailey and Lyra Valkyria, Bailey's kind
of fallen off ever since winning the championship last year.
I still don't understand the Lyra.

Speaker 1 (01:13:59):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:14:00):
I think that she's a wonderful wrestler. I think she
works her ass off. She just doesn't connect with me
as a fan as of right now, so I'm not
necessarily seeing that. Obviously, I didn't watch any of her
indie stuff or wherever she came from before WrestleMania or
before WWE. She's just the bird woman and she's just
the one that's wearing that she still has the women's
in her Continental championship.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Right, Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
I don't understand it. I don't understand all that, so
I just don't get it. Uh. I could see Bailey
and Lyra winning this, but also she one of them
already has a title, and like, why stop the momentum
of Live Morgan. I mean, I'm not really a fan
of Raquel Rodriguez what she were doing, but obviously the
company sees a lot in them, but it's because Live

(01:14:43):
is carrying it. Live is probably the most charismatic women's
character that you have right now, and she garners most reaction.
She's hot, she's whiny, you know, she's in the she's
in the thing with Don Mysterio. She does her own things.
She's like and plus she's starting to do like a
lot more like not outside to wrestling, but she's she's
doing the media around. She's going out and uh, she's

(01:15:04):
taking pictures with Dom. They're on like the canoe and
they're doing like.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
The hot Ones thing with the yes yeah yes.

Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
So she's uh a crossover appeal. Uh. She even came
out and said that there's tons of non wrestlers and
other famous people in her d ms. Uh so what
I would say to them is get out, that's our girl,
Like don't you touch her? Why are you talking to her?

Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
For?

Speaker 3 (01:15:31):
That's all? That's all I gotta say. But now I think, uh,
don't don't ruin Live and uh I don't don't ruin
lives momentum right here? Have they?

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
Yeah? I agree we should have just got to Live
versus Alexa one on one. You know, Uh, I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
I don't know why where is Alexa?

Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
She just.

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
I did see something online today where maybe Chelsea Green
will do an open challenge for the US title and
Alexa Bliss challenges her, which would be cool. I think
both of them deserved to be on the card, no doubt.
But yeah, we should have just had Live versus Alexa
one on one singles match. They could have built that
at Chamber and gone from there. But they never match.

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
Billy, you said it, that's the match. That's what I
want to see both those.

Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Yeah, and I be you know, you leave that for later,
maybe as a world title match at some point. I
get it, but it would have been fun to see,
no doubt. But yeah, I think I think Live and
Raquel should retain here. You might have Bailey just turn
on Lyra and maybe they go back into a feud
for the Intercondental possible. I think you got to get
the Intercondental title. Off Lyra. I simply think you do

(01:16:34):
nothing against her. Again, I don't think she's really clicking
with the audience yet. Kind of reminds me of like
Becky Lynch early on in Becky Lynch's career, before she
was the man, right, she was just kind of she
was the last kicker or whatever, and like she had
an accent, and like she looked like a star and
could go in the ring, but she didn't really have
much beyond that. You didn't really know what she was about.
And that's that kind of how I feel about Lyra

(01:16:55):
as well. So, uh, I could see Bailey turning on
her and that leading who you know, Bailey taking the
shrap off her at some point at backlash maybe, So
uh yeah, give me a living Riquel here to retain.

Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
That's a good call. I wouldn't be surprised with that.
Let's move on to the next match, which is also
just we knew that this was gonna be a thing
ever since the elimination chamber was just really only announced
and started heating up a couple of weeks ago. But
a battle of a class of the friends of the
show here Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre in a Sin
City street fight. Uh. Man, dude, Drew McIntyre is getting

(01:17:27):
all all of the fuck you up matches this last
year with the with the hell in a Cell, now
this thing right here and Drew, it's man, this one's
hard to predict to. And I know that you're not
the biggest Priest fan, and I like him, but there's
just there's something missing with you with Damian Priese. Like,

(01:17:47):
I think he has a look, I think he has
a great voice, but there's just something missing with Damian Priest.
In my opinion, I don't necessarily know what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:17:58):
I'll go ahead and take Drew mackins in this situation.
I definitely think you got to keep him happy, especially
since he's you know, last last year he lost after
after holding the title for only a few minutes. You
had the infamous shot of you just like surrender Cobran
and what on earth is just going on Damian Price?

Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
And Damian Priesce was was the one who benefited off
of that. So I think this is their way of
giving Drew back that win right here.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Yeah, I agree, I think you got to have Drew
go over. I mean, he's been really carrying we're all
big time in the last year, more of the more
interesting guys week in and week out, and I do
think they've done a pretty good job of like this
match might be underwhelming to some as far as like
Drew could have been involved in something bigger and better,
but you know, there wasn't room for him this year,
it happens, and instead they give him like a pretty good,

(01:18:48):
well told story to go over I think against Damian
Priest and kind of you know, maybe exercise some demons
from last year of you know, Damien cashing on him
and whatnot. It's been a good, a good told story,
to be honest with you, and it's turned into a
pretty personal one, you know, with the whole I thought
the the backstage segment where he got choke slam onto

(01:19:09):
the car was awesome and now you know, he's been
wearing the eye patch because of that, and it's it's
been good. So I'm actually excited for this match. I
think that they both of them can go and especially
in a street find environment, it's gonna be hard hitting,
it's gonna be physical, it's gonna be fun. So yeah,
I'll take Drew to go over here in a really
good match. I think Damian Priest ultimately, you know, looks

(01:19:29):
really good coming out of this, you know, even in
a loss. I think that he's gonna have a really
good performance to where it's like all right, Like you know,
that was a big moment for him and he delivered
type deal.

Speaker 3 (01:19:39):
Yeah, I like, I like Drew to win, but I
would I wouldn't hesitate leaving the door open for Damian
Priest to win this match or do something to where
he looks pretty good. Yeah, we'll move over to another
mid card title L inter Continental Championship match, bron Breaker
versus Pensa versus Finn Baler versus Ray Mystereo. There's two
direc There's two directions I want to go in here,

(01:20:02):
and one of them is Dominic, but the other one
like they they gotta give it the Penta, right, it's
either Dominic or Penta.

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
It's well, yes, this is the way to get it
off Braun without him taking the fall, right. That's why
it's a fatal four right match. Somebody else has taken
the fall. I do think it's a question of dom
or Penta. I think they might give it to dom
This would be the perfect environment for him. To have
some like fluky type deal where it's like he ends

(01:20:30):
up being the last one in the ring where all
these guys just like laid each other out and he
ends up right, I think he ends up pinning Baler
and that leads to you know, they're not gonna gonna
have a blow off right here WrestleMania. But I think,
you know, the next night at rawl, even though they
said in that backstage segment last week or two weeks
ago where it's like, oh, it doesn't matter who wins,

(01:20:50):
like as long as one of us wins, it brings
the goal back to the judge of day. It's all good.
We know that's not the case. Somebody's gonna be pissed
off if one of the other wins. So, uh yeah,
I think there's a good story. It's hell there with
Dom and Balor in the whole Judgment day. So give
me Dom for you know, a friend of the show.
That's right again, I kind of teased it earlier where

(01:21:11):
I feel like this is a WrestleMania where you got
to get your younger stars over. Penta just came on
the scene. But Penta, I looked it up today, is
forty years old. He's old, doesn't He's an older guy. Uh,
you know, Balor's been around for for a long time.
Dom on the other hand, is twenty eight years old.
He has a whole you know, ten plus years ahead
of him and is a guy that has really transformed

(01:21:32):
himself into an awesome character getting better in the ring.
I think, you know, each and every time he's out.

Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
There, we want to see him get his ass kicked
every time.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
Yeah, that's what it's all, and that is money that
has money all over it. So yeah, give me Dom mystereo,
our guy to go over here.

Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
I'm gonna go with Don mystereo too. I think this
is a perfect spot for him. He's young, he's he
can be believable. He could just slide on over somebody
while someone's not paying attention and he sneaks out with
the win. I think it's time to get rid of
judgment day too. It's time to dispand all that. Sorry, Carlito,

(01:22:10):
but the story and the heat is live and Dom
and they're annoying. They're unbearable. They're this couple. Now they
have all the gold. Now they do the little the
nose thing and they're just like so over the Hills
and love. You add that to now both of them
are champions and that you don't need Judgment Day anymore.
It's been failing. Now that the dissension starts now with

(01:22:32):
Finn Balor. I don't know who gets custody of Carlito.
I don't know what they're gonna do with the back.

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Of his colorful shirt and his appleback and call it
a day. Just having that's what's the.

Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
Yes, that's all that we've wanted, go back to him.
That's where the money is at. The heat is with
Live and dom They're unbearable, They're annoying, get done the titles.
They just keep going forward. You want to see them
lose and then eventually end up having and Penta be
the one that beats up the beats Dominic.

Speaker 2 (01:23:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
Yeah, And it's just always tough. Just because they brought
Penta on. They presented him like he is the main
player on Raw. Everybody knows who he is or selling
his mask. He's got one of the hottest selling shirts
and merchant out there. People love the zero metro, people
catch on to it really really well. Uh I it

(01:23:24):
will be his time soon. I just think this is
where Dominic Mysterio Shines already gave him kind of like
the same title, the North American title on NXT about
this time a year ago, and dom Dom could be
a workhorse and he doesn't have to beat anybody, He
just has to escape the match. And that's what you
what you that's what you hate about it, right.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
Just like Eddie Gerrera back in the day as a heel.
That's that's yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
All right. So now now we get into the the
two main events of the evening one that we're kind
of confused about here where they go Eos Sky versus
Bianca bel Air versus Ria Ripley. Just let me start.
I'm not gonna get my prediction and with my but
let me just go ahead and start with my thoughts.
This is almost the same as like the La Night thing,
Like you just gave Eo the title on the random

(01:24:14):
roll a month ago and then now it's thrown into
this triple threat match. There's a lot of heat and
desired just for a Eo versus Rea match, Just those
two together have ww likes to drop breadcrumbs with how
at a certain raw or SmackDown or a pay per
view or the way that Rio looks at EO or
the way that something is set. They they looked at

(01:24:37):
each other oddly at war games, and that's like everyone's like, yep,
that's your WrestleMania match, because they're they're gonna go They're
gonna show that in the package, like hey, you remember this,
it happened months ago. Well this is why that unfolds.
Now you have the whole Beyonca. Then Bianca winning the
rumble kind of threw things a little bit off and
then just turned into this and the chamber. You're right, yeah,
and so what's weird is.

Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
You have.

Speaker 3 (01:25:05):
Like now EO Sky's are champion and then like they're
showing it like she's she's like the annoying one in
the back that's like not getting the respect. Like Ria
Ripley comes out and she wants to go face to
face with Beyonca bell Air. EO is out like size
by these two women. She's outstarred, in my opinion, by

(01:25:25):
these two women. Her star doesn't shine as bright when
Bianca bell Air and Ria Ripley are in the ring,
So she's more or less an afterthought, and it makes
you think, why did she even get the belt in
the first place. I don't see it. There's a part
of me that says, yeah, EO wants Toeo is gonna
retain strictly because they just gave the title to her,
But at the same time, I don't see it happening.

(01:25:45):
It's it's it's gotta be Rio or Bianca, Right, Why
had Bianca? When? Why have Bianca in the chamber?

Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
Well, that is the most baffling thing, well, not the
most baffling thing they've been, but one of the most
that they've done on this road to WrestleMania. There's been
a lot of head scratchers, right, And that's really my
beef with them when we talked about it earlier, like
Bianca should be involved in the Jaden Naomi thing. That
should be the one on one match with Ria and
EO that they've been building for months. Like you said,
the Easter eggs have been all over the place for

(01:26:13):
the last few months, and it's like, for some reason
that Triple H was just like, oh, we need Bianca
to be in it. Though, why why? Bianca has been
in plenty of world title matches. She is well established.
She can be in that other few that you know
is a good story that you're telling and Rhea is
a big enough star to carry this this with EO
and by the way, Io was in a world title

(01:26:34):
match last year WrestleMania. She is a star, just not
a solidified one yet. And for that reason, I do
think that she wins this match. I do, I really do.
And it's not just because she won the title. I
think that they just need to get her over. The
more you know, stars you can have in the women's division,
the better kind of reminds me of like the Russelmania

(01:26:56):
twenty four, the Randy Orton triple h and John Cena
threat match, where it did seem like Randy Orton was
kind of like the third you know, third wheel of
that where you know, Johnson and were always the ones
face to face and they were the big time stars
and Randy Orton wasn't really established yet. And then Randy
Orton went went over in that match, and that really
kind of put him on the map of like, all right,

(01:27:17):
this is this is one of their top guys. So
you know, these three definitely not as big as stars
as that those three were at the time, but still
Ria and Bianca are two of your top three to
five women's wrestlers. Right now and have been well established
for years, right, So I did you know. I think
that EO going over here makes a ton of sense

(01:27:38):
because these two can afford a loss. It's definitely not
going to hurt him, and one of them doesn't have
to take a fall either. So yeah, I'll take EO
to retain her title here.

Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
Think you convinced me again, I'm very convincing. I'll tell
you what I think. I think he did. Well, you
do have a kid, I'll go with I'll go with
the EO just because I've always liked her. I thought.

Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
It.

Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
It's there's just always that in the back of my head,
like she lost it on Raw like I or she
she wanted on Raw. I like like she has to
keep the title on her, But also like the company
does see a lot in her. They've invested a lot,
So I don't think that she's just going to continue
being this afterthought. I think the the parallels to the
Randy Orton Triple h John Cena thing makes a whole
lot of sense. And you can always have history repeat

(01:28:26):
itself and have somebody hit the somebody hit their finisher,
and then here as she's pinning on Eosky comes off
the top with her stuff and then she ends up
winning like, oh my god, I forgot about her. Oh
my god, I forgot about Randy Orton. So I could
totally see that happening. Yeah, Rhea doesn't need it. Bianca
doesn't need it. Bianca. It seems more surd and the

(01:28:49):
Jade and Naomi stuff right now. So her winning the
title just like, Okay, forget about like my best friend
over the last year's, over the last years. They're fighting
like screw that. I want the top idol. So I
think she'll find her way back into that.

Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
Yeah, there you go, and we're on the big one.

Speaker 3 (01:29:06):
To speaking speaking of the man we just mentioned, John Cena,
John Cena, Cody Heal, John Cena, is that's still weird
for you to like kind of represent Heal John Cena
undisputed Championship against the friend of the show, Cody Rhodes,
is gonna main event everything.

Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
And this is this is this is it.

Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
This is what we've been talking about for a while.
Was it was it gonna be punking Sina? Was it
gonna be punking Cody? Well now it's gonna now we
have it. It's John Cena, Cody Rhodes. It's this, I'll
just go out and say it. I'm excited for the match,
but one of the most lackluster feuds build up for
a WrestleMania main ement and quite some time.

Speaker 2 (01:29:44):
Yeah, well, it's just because, like I don't know, Sena,
just like it's been the same thing over and over,
it seems like, and we still have tonight on SmackDown
to hopefully have some sort of awesome segment. Maybe they brawl,
you know, this security comes out and you know, some
sort of something like that, because they haven't had that yet. Right,

(01:30:05):
it's just been like two guys just like, Oh, you
suck because of this, and you suck because of right,
Like it hasn't really I don't know. Maybe it's because
it peaked so early at Elimination Chamber. There were just
no way they were going to like keep topping what
they did there because of how shocking of a moment

(01:30:27):
it was. But I don't know, like it has been lackluster.
It has been inconsistent because John Cena hasn't been around
a whole lot. He's been here and there. So I
do think tonight on SmackDown very important for this match
and the build as far as what happens. Let me
take a deep breath, because we're gonna get into some
stuff here, because this could be booked a number of ways.

(01:30:50):
Part of me wants to say John Cena as a
heel winning the title. Man, that's like such a moment,
right and you can't pass it up. But at the
same time, do you not want John Cena to break
the record as a babyface to get like in that
crazy reaction confetti falling down, the whole locker room comes out,

(01:31:12):
you know, hoist them up on the shoulders. Do you
not want that moment? Because this moment will be much
different than that, Right, It's gonna be odd if the
record breaking moment is a heel and there's not much
celebrate there. But because of that, here's what I think
is gonna happen. To make it like an oh my

(01:31:33):
God moment forever etched in we history. The Rock is
obviously gonna get involved, all right. We know that if
he doesn't, My God, this makes zero sense whatsoever. All Right.
The Rock orchestrated this whole thing for John Cena to
turn on Cody. He wants to take Cody's soul. That's
all The Rock cares about. He's the Final Boss and
he is coming to end Cody once and for all.

(01:31:54):
If we remember the whole three count that he did
at Survivor Series or whatever, that was.

Speaker 3 (01:32:00):
Bad Blood, right, bad Blood?

Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
Yeah? Yeah, So you know, everybody's speculating what the three
could mean because we're we're assuming that one is the
Rock himself, all right, and then he did the whole
two for John Cena taking out Cody Rhodes had elimination chamber.
What where does the three come into play? I teased
it earlier. Seth Rollins, the guy that was the MVP

(01:32:26):
of WrestleMania last year, helping Cody win the title, right,
being on Cody's side through the whole thing. Well, guess
what he decided, once again in his career, it's best
for business to be with the Final Boss because he's
tired of lose, and he's tired of losing these matches,
knocking chances, not being the world champion, whatever it might be.
He's got to align himself with the Final Boss and

(01:32:49):
be the you know, the be all end all of
the entire company. Right, So here's what's going to happen.
The Rock's gonna come out at some point, and it
looks like, you know, the odds are stacked against Cody.
There's no way coming out of this. Q seth rawlins
Cody's friend. Apparently, right here comes seth Rowns for the
save once again. Just like last year, seth Rowns saved

(01:33:10):
Cody Rhodes, and that was the reason that Cody ended
up winning, Except this time the Rock does three and
seth Rowns takes out Cody Rhodes, John Cena, pens John Cena,
seth Rons the Rock as one faction in the end.

Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
Interesting, That's what I got, and I want to.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
But the reason I've been I've been thinking that is
if you've seen seth Rons and his outfits on RAW lately.
We talked about these Easter eggs and whatnot. Right, he
rocked the whole black turtleneck look one night, which The
Rock is infamous for. Right, and then he rocked the
whole the vest. Yeah, and that was last week. He

(01:33:57):
was We're in the Best in Sacramento, the same place
where The Rock did one of his rock concerts with
the Best one, and he mentioned and he mentioned in
his promo best for business at some point. Okay, so
there's a lot of little like easter eggs there that
that would lead you to believe that Seth Rollins.

Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
Is the is the three I guess, I guess. My
only rebut to that is so like he's going to
like heep him wanting to join the Rock would eventually
give him like Okay, I got to be the champion soon.
So I mean he's next for John Cena or he's
just just the alliance with the Rock means everything more
or less the championship.

Speaker 2 (01:34:38):
Maybe he could go after the world title and try
to create this whole go.

Speaker 3 (01:34:43):
After j Yeah, the Rock and Jay Uso kind of
having it. I mean you just mentioned it, like the
overwhelming what's missing from everything here? The freaking Rocky. He
hasn't been one since the elimination Chamber, And I think
that the way that Johnson I'll go ahead and I'll
just go on dive into my park. The way that
John Cena and Cody Rhods of feud has been has

(01:35:04):
just been underwhelming because there's been no mention of the Rock.
What does the Rock want from John Cena? What does
John Cena want from the Rock, Like they beat the
hell out of him, the embarrassed Cody Roads, They pulled,
They pulled the wool from over his eyes, pulled the
wool over his eyes, and they had the weird Travis
Scott there, like you couldn't have had. Travis Scott has
showed up on We're All before with Jay Us, So

(01:35:25):
that's another wrinkle on this plane. Can Jay Us so possibly?
Who knows, but Jay Travis Scott has like he he
he strictly injured. Cody gave him the black eye. He
fucking hit him in the face and went into business
for himself, or really laid it in, like why couldn't
you have, like Travis Scott be a be a proxy

(01:35:45):
when Rock isn't there, or when Sena's not there, Like
why can't Travis Scott come out of the crowd while
Cody's cutting a promo and like, hey, buddy, how's your
face doing? Or I see that your black eyes healing
still haven't recovered from that ass whooping that we gave you,
or like Cody Rhodes takes Travis Scott hostage or something
and like forces the Rock to come out, Come out,

(01:36:07):
you motherfucker. The first time John Cena and Cody Rhodes
meet for the first time after John Cena embarrassed and
whooped his ass, put a mob beating on him, turned
the whole world against Cody Rhodes. He calls him a
whiny little bitch. I said this with Vigilanti last week,
Like this should have been known by Adam Pearce or
I'm sorry it's on a nick All this now because

(01:36:29):
they're on SmackDown. That's where the heat has all been
centrified at Like nick All, this needs to realize, Oh
my god, this could be one of the biggest matches
of all time. I need this and I need like
so like Cody Rhodes is, he's still coming out. You've
probably seen the you've probably seen the criticism of it.
Like he comes out after two weeks after getting his
ass kick, getting embarrassed by a rapper at John Cena
who's balding, and the rock who doesn't even show up.

(01:36:52):
He still comes out, does a smile, and he's baby
facing it up. He does the whoe. Still he's still
shaking hands with the kids. No, then he sees John
Cena in that ring. It should be like, I'm not
playing any more games with you. It should be like
him coming out, like as soon as he touches the ring.
He should be wanting to kick his ass, dude. So
like Nick all this seeing that, like, do not let

(01:37:14):
these guys touch until WrestleMania. He's sending everybody out there
to pull them away. Cody Rhodes is undoing his tie,
like I'm coming for you, son of You. Better hope
that I do.

Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
You.

Speaker 3 (01:37:23):
Better hope that there's no security You better hope that
they're security guards from us until WrestleMania, because I want
a piece of you, dude, and it should be it's
he calls me a whiny little bitch and like that's
just so underwhelming, and like why did why did you
align yourself with the Rock? What does Rock want from you?
What does John Cena want from the Rock? And I

(01:37:44):
guess to answer your question, for John Cena going to
number seventeen and getting his title for a heel, it
would make sense as like, all right, buddy, this is
what you sold out for, Like you finally won your title.
How does it feel now? And like this is all
that you had to do for it? And I guess
that could be a fun little wrinkle, but you know,
I don't know if it's gonna come out where he

(01:38:05):
wins seven to seventeenth one, and it's just oede to glory.
He's getting carried off into the sunset. I mean, maybe
there's still room for that. With the speculation of there
being a Saturday Night's main event at the very end
of December, and that's supposed to be held in John
Cena's hometown. Maybe that's where he wins it. Maybe that's
where he finally turns a good guy, or maybe he

(01:38:26):
doesn't even win it at all. And the Rock comes
out and says, what the hell was my investment? Dude,
screw you, blah blah blah all this, and then John
Cena gives him the attitude adjustment, beats the hell out
of the Rock. He's a good guy again, and that
should be we never hear John Cena ever again. He
doesn't come out on Raw the next night. All right, guys,
this is my beat John Cena up, or beat the
Rock up. And then that's the last we ever hear

(01:38:47):
John Cena. It's I just expected so much more from
this heel turn. All it is is John Cena is
a bad guy and people are booing him, but like
it's he's still wearing that you can't see me shirts
like he's still wearing like like the he's gonna wear
like the vague like John Cena doesn't even dress like
that in person. You're not gonna catch John Cena. Uh.
Other than a WWE show, there's zero chance you're gonna

(01:39:10):
see John Cena walking around in jorts and a T shirt.
That guy wears nothing but expensive clothing. He's like if
you've ever watched Total Divas, where he where he was
on he's kind of like a dick, Like he's rich,
he has very high standards for himself, and like that's
the character that should be played out on TV as
the person that he really is and make people feel uneasy,

(01:39:30):
like is this guy really good? This is a guy
that we cheered the last couple of years. So I
don't I don't know, man, I feel like they've just
missed the ball on a lot of he doesn't look
like an angry guy or a mad guy at the fans,
he looked like he looks like a guy that just
has a frown on his face. So he's just coming
out like he looks like he's playing a bad guy
rather than being a bad guy.

Speaker 2 (01:39:52):
So the other scenario that they could get if they
want Cody to keep the title, right, I feel like
the only way you can get to that is if
Stone Cold gets involved. Sure, because the Rock is gonna host.
The Rock is gonna have to come out at some point,
and the odds are gonna be stacking against Cody at
some point with the Rock and Sena, So somebody is

(01:40:14):
going to have to come to the aid of Cody Roads,
just like last year how that all went down, and
maybe that's how you keep the title on Cody with
that awesome moment of Stone Cold coming out and taking
out the Rock and boom, all of a sudden, Cody
hits Sena with Crossroads and that's that and we kind
of go from there. But I don't know, I feel
like there's a swerve coming that leads to John Cena

(01:40:34):
being the champion.

Speaker 3 (01:40:35):
Okay, so you're going with Senas.

Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
I'm going with I'm going with Sena, and what I
laid out I think would be a good way to
do it with Rollins getting involved. You mentioned jay Us.
That's actually an interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:40:46):
Possible out there. I mean, he came out with Travis
Scott netflix.

Speaker 2 (01:40:49):
He did, and him and Sena were the last two
in the rumble, and he eliminated. Sena didn't like go
ballistic on him. He came, he came in, shook his
hand and raises his hand. Maybe that was kind of
leading towards all right, these two have an alliance type deal.
I don't know that that could be an interesting I mean,

(01:41:09):
that would be a hell of weight in the show.
You got jay Uso the world Champion, Johnson, the w Champion,
the Rock right in between them holding both their hands up.

Speaker 3 (01:41:19):
Jay Uso has been tag team Champions with Cody before, right,
He's always you here guy.

Speaker 2 (01:41:24):
You would hear jay USO's music and you'd be like, oh,
here comes Jay for the save for Cody. And then
imagine him, you know, looking at the Rock like yeah,
you want to go, you want to go? Then he
turns to Cody super kick into an AA.

Speaker 3 (01:41:37):
That would be pretty crazy. You have you have a
huge moment career, define a moment for jay Uso, and
then the very next night has another one that would
be huge for Joe Ben.

Speaker 2 (01:41:48):
Literally, your two top merch sellers are both massive.

Speaker 3 (01:41:53):
I mean, of who cares, I mean it's exactly I mean,
obviously you want your superheroes for the kids. But I
guess Cody Rhads is always gonna have a place in
Kids Hard and it is gonna be the uh, the
baby face going forward for a while. Eventually when they
end up turning him, that could be pretty entertaining television.
I'm gonna have to go with I'm gonna have to
go with Sena winning here too, or just something seems like, up,

(01:42:16):
give him the title. He's gonna have a heel run.
It is gonna be weird. So like John Cena's very
last year and his last year is Champion because you know,
Cody Rhads is gonna get a lick back. So like
his very last feud is just gonna be three matches
with Cody Rhoads. So like it, something doesn't tell me
we're gonna get like an Orton match or a CM
punk match. If he wins. It seems like he's going

(01:42:38):
to just keep on fighting Cody until the end of
the year.

Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Well what if what if the Jay Uso scenario happens,
and then you can lead to all right, Cody's gonna
put Sena the side for a second. I'm gonna address
Jay and that's that's your feud Postmania for the world title,
and then Sena goes into a feud with like a
punk or whatever for you're like, you know, leading in this,

(01:43:02):
maybe Randy Orton, that's where you do that. I don't know.
There's a lot of options obviously, so I think you
just to have a memorable moment if it's gonna be
sena either way, if Sina wins or Cody wins, there
has to be a memorable moment in this match because
it's been built as this whole, you know, blow off
type situation. So yeah, just depends what you want to

(01:43:23):
do moving forward. But I think he just I don't
think you can look too far in the future though,
either with it, like you've got to have a big
time moment in this Rustlemania.

Speaker 3 (01:43:32):
Yeah, I agree. I think this is also the first time,
I think in Cody's title reign over being champion for
a little over a year now, this is his first
feud in his first match where you're going into it
going I don't know. I mean, with Logan aj A solo,
you knew he wasn't you know, he wasn't gonna lose
to any of them, But now this is the first

(01:43:53):
time where you're going into a Cody Rhodesis champion match going.
I don't know if he's gonna win this title coming
out of it, and I guess might be good for business,
So go give me John Cena on top. We'll go
with heal John Cena. I think Cody's had his fun
run this last year, and it hasn't been like the
best title run, but he finished his story. He got
to carry the company for a year. They'll still say

(01:44:14):
in the main event a scene they'll find something to
do with either getting back on the Rock or John
Sen or maybe the Jay Uso stuff plays out. But
I don't know. After talking for a billion hour, forty
five minutes, you know you and I get the talking
dude about wrestling. This is the reason we said we
should start a podcast in the first place. So sorry

(01:44:35):
if all of it, but I've always loved long, long
standing podcast. Anyone that's listening, they're not mowing the lawn.
It's a beautiful day getting ready. You can just have
us in playing the video games, getting stoned or playing
WWE two k just listen to us, Listen to our
soothing voices, act like we know a little bit of
wrestling and tell you what's gonna happen. But now I'm
excited for this week, and I'm excited for wrestling Mania.

(01:44:55):
A little bit of fomo, like I said to start
the show, since we're not there. But it's gonna be fun.
WrestleMania has always always been a fun time. It's gonna
be cool to get back home, maybe have a glass
of have a glass of bourbon or a beer, slice
of pizza, and watch WrestleMania. In the next couple of days.
It's gonna be the center of attention of the whole universe.
The next two days, it's gonna be all over mainstream media.

(01:45:16):
So it seems like a lot of people that aren't
wrestling fans are going to be wrestling fans this week,
and that's what I'm looking forward to.

Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
Yeah, no matter you know how enticed you are by
the card and the bill that they put together for WrestleMania,
no matter what the time WrestleMania weekend rolls around, you
talk yourself into anything can happen. It's gonna be you know,
the showcase of Immortals where legends are made, like the
whole all the cliche stuff. You take that in and

(01:45:43):
you're like, all right, let's let's lock in for a
fun week in a wrestling and I think that's what
we'll have in store here. I think this could be
one of those WrestleManias where like the build wasn't great,
but the card ends up living up to like a
really really good, you know, all time WrestleMania, kind of
like like thirty one didn't have a great build but
ultimately has looked at as a really good WrestleMania because

(01:46:04):
of how it delivered on that day. I think that's
kind of how we could see could view WrestleMania forty
one in a few years. So yeah, man, I'm excited.
Like every WrestleMania you get up for, you convince yourself
that anything can happen, and I do think that we're
in for at least one or two swerves this weekend

(01:46:24):
that's going to leave us like holy shit, like wow,
that absolutely really just happens. So yeah, I'm pumped up, man.
Even though we won't be there in person this year,
it's signed out fun to watch the production from.

Speaker 3 (01:46:35):
Home, and I'm sure we'll be staying in contact, texting
about seeing what's going on. We'll probably be posting some
stuff all the way through, like posting results and stuff.

We'd love to hear you ought here. What what you
guys think is gonna happen? Any major swerves that you
guys think it's gonna happen. It's gonna be really fun weekend.
Nothing's more unpredictable than WrestleMania weekend. Obviously, we saw how
that ended last year. Billy, You and I's probably favorite
WrestleMania main event ever, the craziest five six minutes of
wrestling stretch in WrestleMania history when Cody finished his story

(01:47:20):
last year. We've been on a very fun run as
a podcast. We appreciate all the support. Hopefully we still
get to go to these shows. We had a video
do thirteen million views from Going to the Rumble. I
think all the new followers that are just tuning in.
Ever since we got Vigilanti Talks, he's brought some of
his followers over, so we appreciate everyone listening, and yeah,

(01:47:40):
just make sure to tune in interact with us. We
try to be as interactive as possible. We try to
have much fun. Billy's gonna have his hands tied. He's
with he's with baby this week, and he's got his
own little mini family over there, and he's got two families.
He's got the Baby Faces family and his actual real
shoot families. So it's it's it's gonna be a good
time and can't wait to see how it all plays out. Brother,

(01:48:01):
And it was great talking to you again, and hopefully
we can see each other soon sometime.

Speaker 2 (01:48:05):
Yes, sir, it was fun. I'll leave you guys with
just one thing.

Speaker 3 (01:48:09):
You that's right. You heard it from the guy himself.
My name is Austin Montgomery. That is Billy the Kid
back the Babyfaces, the O G version. Be sure to
check out Wrestlemanio on Peacock this weekend and be sure
to tune in. We'll probably go live again Sunday or Monday.
Me and Vigilante Talks will be back on the show,
putting a bow on everything. So it should be a

(01:48:30):
fun weekend. Billy, thanks for coming back on Buddy.

Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
Yes, sir, I'll talk to y'all soon.
