Speaker 1 (00:01):
I want to give you a very important update on
what's going on with tariff negotiations. This is a story
that the media is not going to want to tell
you about because of the number that I'm about to
disclose to you. You may remember the other day there
was reports out that there were fifty countries that had
lined up to negotiate their tariffs to the Trump administration.

(00:25):
Then that number went to seventy, and that is when
the media started getting quiet on the story. We now
have a new number, and the Trump administration has told
us that they are now negotiating with one hundred and
thirty countries on tariffs. Now, I want you to hear
this back and forth with liberal Jake Tapper over at

(00:46):
seeing and on say the Union talking with the n
Aasroeconomic Council Director Kevin Hassett. And here is what Jake
Tapper tried to say when he was dating him into
a false narrative. Take a listen.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Can you say to small business owners or even big
business owners who say they're having difficulty making long term
business decisions because the country seems right now to be
run by capricious whim Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I'd think at all it's run by Capriciu's whim. The
way that I would think about it is that in
the previous administration, you can sort of say, if you're
thinking about it into football analogy is that they were
running out the clock, and what's going on now and
the Trump administration is across a wide array of policy areas.
We're in a two minute offense, and the two minute
offense is pushing, as you've seen, the reconciliation build through,

(01:33):
so that we get tax relief for America people, deregulation,
and of course trade policy. Now in the trade policy,
the whole point of the trade policy is to address
the national emergency that we're too dependent on foreign products
in the US, especially if we were at a time
of conflict, and we're doing something about that. And the
Reciprocal Act was basically, guys, if you come to the

(01:55):
table and negotiate us with us and treat us the
same way we treat you, then we'll get your rate
really low. And so right now one hundred thirty countries,
one hundred thirty countries have responded and we're negotiating with them,
and they've got their rate down to ten percent. And
so really it's kind of almost a two world system.
There's a process about China, and that's very very nascent,

(02:18):
if at all, and then the process for everybody else.
So the process for everybody else is orderly. It's clear
people are coming to town with great, great offers. We've
got Japan, Korea, India. I was just talking to the
Foreign Minister of India and everything is moving forward very quickly,
and so I guess the bottom line is that the

(02:39):
small business owner has experienced over the last few weeks
the start of a process that's settling down really quite quickly.
Gave them a hundred thirty countries are at ten percent now.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
So if you want to know if the administration is
working hard to get these deals done, the answer is yes.
And are there people that are coming to the table.
The answer is yes. And are there a few? No?
Are there some? Noh? Are there a lot? Man? Maybe
you could go even beyond that, as I quote the administration.
So right now there are one hundred and thirty countries.

(03:09):
One hundred and thirty countries have responded and we're negotiating
with them, and they've got their rate down to ten percent.
So really it's almost a two world system. There's a
process that they said about countries that are not willing
to come to the table, places like China, and those
are going to be tough, But everyone else, they seem

(03:30):
to be wanting the best deal they can get with
the American government, and that means it's an amazing deal
for the American people. So don't buy into the fear mongering.
Look at the actual results, and it's clear that there's
one hundred and thirty countries that are dying to get
a deal done with a Trump administration who is putting
American workers and businesses first instead of last. Now that's

(03:55):
not the only piece of good news. The President is
also listening to his advisors and now know that there
is going to be some exemptions on some important products
that do affect Americans. Right now, smartphones, computers, and electronic
devices are being exempt from the Trump administration's tariffs on China.

(04:15):
The administration announcing that various electronic devices such as smartphones
and computers will have the exemption from the tariffs that
have been imposed on China. In a bulletin that was
posted late Friday night by the US Customs and Border
Protection Agency, it was revealed that certain products quote would
be exempted from the tariffs. The tariff exemptions on certain

(04:37):
products apply retroactively to April to fifth. According to Axios,
the products would be exempt from recent applied tariffs, while
other pre April second tariffs would still apply. The White
House Press Secretary Caroline Levin explained in a statement, the
President Donald Trump has made it clear that the United
States cannot rely on China to you manufacture critical technologies semiconductors, chips, smartphones,

(05:06):
and laptops, saying President Trump has made it clear America
cannot rely on China to manufacture critical technologies such as
those semiconductors, chips, smartphones, and laptops, and that's why the
President has secured trillions of dollars in US investments from
the largest tech companies in the world, including Apple, TSMC,

(05:29):
and NA Video. CNBC also reported that the guidance for
the USCBP includes exclusions for other electronic devices and components,
including semiconductors, solar cells, flat panel TV display, flash drives,
and memory cards. The White House Deputy Press Secretary explained

(05:50):
that quote companies are hustling to onshore their manufacturing the
United States as soon as possible. The outlet explained that
the top twenty product categories listed in the CBP guidelines
are apparently exempt from the one hundred and twenty five
percent tariffs that Trump is imposed on Chinese imports. The

(06:11):
twenty product categories listed in the CBP guidelines are apparently
exempt from the one to twenty five tariffs and the
ten percent baseline tariff on imports from other countries. A
twenty percent tariff on all Chinese goods remains in effect
quote unquote and a presidential memorandum. Trump explained in the
Executive Order fourteen two fifty seven that regulations imports with

(06:35):
a reciprocal tariff to rectified trade practices that contribute to
large and persistent annual United States good trade deficits. I
declare national emergency arising from conditions reflected in large and
persistent annual US goods trade deficits, and imposed additional ad

(06:56):
belorum duties as I deem necessary and appropriate to deal
with the unusual and extraordinary threat which has its source
and hohold our substantial part outside of the US. The
national security and economic of the United States of America.
Is what is stated in this Executive Order. Now here's

(07:17):
what we know. The present's being clear that he's not
going to allow China to get away with much of
what they've been doing, but there are certain things that
America does need in the near term as we start
manufacturing in this country. This is also another example of
the President listening to those around him and listening to
the American people and industry that are saying, we love

(07:40):
that you're fighting for us, but there may be some
certain things will need some help on in the short term.
And this is proof that the President is obviously putting
Americans first yet again. A major victory this week for
the Trump administration who said they were going to hold
student protesters accountable if they were standing up for terrorists,

(08:01):
especially if they are here from another country. Now, you
may remember that the Senate Democrats came out and said
we stand with the pro terrorists pro Hamas Columbia graduate,
a guy by the name of Mahmud Khalil. Why did
they do it, because, well, the Democratic Party has no
problem standing with people that are advocating and supporting for
the destruction of Israel and those that advocate for actual

(08:25):
terrorist organizations. This is not all. We also found out
that the Senate Judiciary Democrats went all in in supporting
him as a political decision. This is the latest of
six separate posts that they put out on social media
promoting his cause, declaring free Muhammad Khalil well he was arrested.

(08:47):
He was a leader of last spring's pro Hamas protests,
and just last week he participated in the Barnard protests
in which activists were handing out Hamas propaganda booklets justifying
the October seventh attacks. This again was during the week
when Democrats supported him. Now, it's fair to debate where

(09:09):
the line is between free speech and due process, and
there's no doubt that that is an important conversation half
But let's be clear, Democrats have no problem looking the
other way when it comes to immigration laws, and they
look the other way when it comes to protecting Jewish
students on campus as well, which brings us to the

(09:29):
victory that all of us should be excited about. An
immigration judge has now ruled that Mike Mood Khliel can
be deported from the US due to his involvement in
leading last year's pro Palestinian protests at Columbia University. The
judge coming out and this news breaking on Fox where

(09:51):
Democrats lost their minds yet again.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
So the thingson that we have been waiting for. A
judge has just ruled that the Trump administration's effort to
deport Mahmoud Khalil can move forward. Correspondent Brook Taylor live
right near that courthouse, and Jeana Louisiana tell us what
the judge is saying in there.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Brook, Hi, Martha, Yeah, this has been long anticipated and
some major news. Just to first give you some perspective,
we're down the street from the Ice Attention Center. The
courtroom is inside of there. They didn't allow any phones
or cameras, so we're finding out this information from our
reporter who's over there down the street. She tells us,
as you just mentioned, the immigration judge has found Mahmoud

(10:34):
Khalil removable. Khalil's attorneys have until April twenty third to
file relief applications. I asked that reporter what the immigration
judge was able to say. She cited those d Jess
papers and said that the Secretary of State Marco Rubio
was able to meet that burden, and again they have
decided that Mahmoud Khalil is removable. The next question, Martha,

(10:59):
of course, is attorney are going to fight this, but
how long that process is going to take right now
for him to be deported.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
We'll send it back to you, right breaking news book.
Thank you you hear that report.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Democrats are angry because they wanted to make sure that
they could have as many of these activists that have
come into the United States of America stand up for
terrorists and advocate for death and destruction of the Jews
all over the world. This judge ruling on Friday that
this thirty year old again can be deported, saying the
US government med its burden of proof to remove him. Quote.

(11:33):
I would like to quote what you said last time,
that there's nothing that's more important to this court than
do process rights and fundamental fairness. That is what mcmood
told the court, saying, quote clearly what we witnessed today,
neither of these principles were presented today or in the
whole process. Quote. This is exactly why the Trump administration

(11:56):
has sent me to this court one thousand miles away
from my family. I just hope that the urgency that
you deemed fit for me are afforded to the hundreds
of others who have been here without hearings for months now.
His attorneys again have until April the twenty third to
file relief applications. During the hearing, the Department of holand

(12:21):
Security attorneys also spoke about how this individual misrepresented himself
on his green card application lying to get into the US.
The Department of Homeland Security attorneys said that the man
was not upfront about some of the organizations that he
was involved with. Mack Mood, they said, willfully failed to

(12:43):
disclose his employment with Assyrian Office in the British Embassy
in Beirut when he applied for permanent US residency. Federal
officials alleged that Mackmuod was inadmissible at the time of
his adjustment because of fraud or willful misrepresentation of material

(13:03):
facts in his status application. In other words, this Skuy's
a pathological liar to get into the US is what
they're accusing him of. The agency also accused him of
failing to disclose his work for the United Nations Relief
and Work Agency, specifically for Palestine refugees, and membership in
Columbia University's apartheid divest Now, this is another example of

(13:28):
the Trump administration saying we're willing to dig We're willing
to look and we're willing to make sure that people
that come to this country are not wishing harm on
anyone and aren't advocating for terrorist organizations. This ruling, no
doubt will have major precedent in allowing the administration to
continue to go after those that were violent or advocating

(13:51):
for violence on college campuses coast to coast. Now, let
me also be clear about something else, because if you
think Democrats are going to lie down on this one,
the radicals are going to stop, they're not. Because following
the ruling, mcmood's immigration attorney called the decision quote unjust
as it is alarming, saying, quote, this is a blatant

(14:12):
violation of the First Amendment and a dangerous present for
anyone who believes in free speech and political expression. Mac
mood is currently imprison in Louisiana, a state that detains
over seven thousand people daily and serves as the second
largest hub for immigration attention in the US. Louisiana's nine

(14:33):
detention centers, eight of which are privately operated, as attorney said,
include the only ice facility in the country directly connected
to an airport, thus streamlining mass deportations. Across the state.
The Department of homeand Security Secretary Christy Noam also weighed
in on the ruling, saying that the Columbia University graduate
quote hates America, saying this, it is a privilege to

(14:57):
be granted visa or green card to live and study
in the United States of America. When you advocate for violence,
glorifying and supporting terrorists, and relish the killing of Americans
and harassed Jews, that privilege should be revoked and you
should not be in this country, she said, and then

(15:17):
she added good riddance now. On Tuesday, his attorneys also
ordered the federal government to quote provide evidence by Wednesday
justifying their attempt to deport Mike Mood. The Secretary of State,
Marco Rubia responded on behalf of the government and roughly
a one and a half page letter sent to the

(15:38):
court on Wednesday. He cited a provision in the Immigration
Nationality Act of nineteen fifty two to justify the removal
from the US. The provision allows the Secretary of State
to deport non citizens if the Secretary determines their presence
in the US quote would have serious adverse foreign policy consequences.

(16:00):
Rubio accused the man of participating in anti Semitic protests
and disruptive activities which fosters a hostile environment for Jewish
students in the United States. He said anti Semitic conduct
and disruptive protests the United States would severely undermine the
significant foreign policy objective Rubio stated in his letter. The

(16:22):
attorneys for the individual have argued that the government's attention
of the Columbia University graduate is extraordinary and unprecedented, and
that the Immigration and Nationality Act of nineteen fifty two
scope is quote breath taking translation. They can't stand the
fact that we have a leader in this country and

(16:43):
people under him who are willing to put Americans first
and not allow for people to come into this country
as a privileged individual to go and study at our
universities who are then actually attacking and trying to radicalize
those around them. Quick break, Ben Ferguson should oh much more.
Coming up. One thing that Donald Trump promised was he

(17:04):
was going to give the power back to the people. Well,
Doge is leading that effort, and the President is now
saying it is a top priority to make sure that
you can go to your government when there is a
problem Americans apparently that are witnessing crippling federal regulations are
now going to be allowed to go directly to DOGE

(17:25):
to report the red tape issues. The Department of Government
Efficiency launching a new website where you or people you
know can directly report and suggest how to deregulate and
the policies within the federal government that are holding Americans back.
Quote your voice in federal decision making is important impacted

(17:49):
by an existing rule or regulation, Well, then share your
ideas for deregulation by completing this new DOGE form. Now
this way website is now live, and I want you
to know about it, and I want you to share
it wherever you can on social media. The website is
Regulations with an ass dot gov. DOGE worked with the

(18:13):
Government Services Administration that is an independent agency tasked with
helping support the functioning of other federal agencies, as well
as the Office of Management and Budget, which is the
federal office frequently charged with overseeing deregulation efforts to launch
the website, and again that website is Regulations dot gov. Quote.

(18:37):
DOGE is combining the administration's goals of adding transparency and
slashing waste fraud and abuse by offering the American people
the unique opportunity to recommend more deregulatory actions. This doge
led effort highlighting President Trump's top priority to put the

(18:59):
people for and the government bureaucrats last. That is what
the White House spokesman said over the weekend. The website's
main page will direct users to a form where you
can report de regulatory suggestions, which provides users with more
than a dozen prompts regarding their issue. The prompts include

(19:20):
describing which federal agency has promoted a regulation at issue,
if the regulation is finalized or in the midst of
the rulemaking process, and justification for the deregulation, the history
of how the regulation operates, and the title and name
of the agency's leader, as well as other detailed information

(19:41):
on the regulation. The form prompts users also to provide
their name, but the box is not mandatory to complete
before submission, meaning that if you're, in essence a whistleblower,
they'll happily take your suggestion. The person who submits a
deregulatory suggestion could see the Trump administration name the recession

(20:02):
of the rule after the individual. So if you would
love to have your name official. Well, the Trump administration,
if they take your vice, is going to give you
credit for it. Quote only answer, if you would like
the recession to be named after you or your organization,
providing your name does not guarantee that it will appear
on any final agency action. And we reserve the right

(20:24):
to refrain from using names that are inappropriate or offensive.
This again going back to what Donald Trump said, I'm
putting Americans first and the bureaucrats last in my administration,
and it's another win for the American people. Now, this
also goes back to what Elon Musk has said. And
by the way, if you miss what Elon Musk had

(20:45):
to say to myself and Senator Cruz, go back and
listen to that podcast. It was a two part series
about what Doe is doing, and it was truly incredible
to hear exactly what Elon Musk has uncovered. And Elon
Musk has railed against regulation since the very beginning. It
was actually before the administration took office, when he was

(21:06):
helping Donald Trump win the White House, when he joined
President Trump's campaign in battleground Straits, he said, we have
a government that is not working for the people. In
a Pennsylvania rally ahead of the election, Must recounted how
his company, SpaceX was wrapped up in quote a bunch
of nutty stories related to government over regulation, including studying

(21:27):
the probability of the company's Starship rocket hitting a whale
or shark, and facing lofty fines from the EPA for
dumping fresh water on the ground quote unquote, I'll tell
you like a crazy thing, like we got fined one
hundred and forty thousand by the EPA for dumping fresh
water on the ground, drinking water. It's crazy. I'll just

(21:51):
give you an example of just how crazy it is.
And we're like, well, we're using water to cool the
launch pad during launch. You know, we're going to cool
the lad so it doesn't overheat, and an excess of caution,
we actually brought in drinking water, so clean, super clean water,
Must said to the audience of the time in Pennsylvania
last year. And the FAA said, no, you have to

(22:15):
pay a one hundred and forty thousand dollars fine. And
we're like, but Starbase is in a tropical thunderstorm area,
skywater falls all the time, Must recounter, referring to SpaceX
headquarters in Texas. Quote that is the same as the
water we use. So it's like, well, there's no harm
to anything. And they said, yeah, but we didn't have

(22:39):
a permit. We're like, you need a permit for fresh
water must set at the time. The Trump regulations three
to one. And these are the types of stories that
now Musk and the President are looking from you, the
American people. You have to remember that Trump went on
a deregulation blitz target energy and climate regulations last week

(23:02):
in a series of executive orders aim to unleash the
power of coal energy in the US, including ending a
pause to coal leasing on federal lands, promoting coal and
cold technology exports, and encouraging the use of coal to
power artificial intelligence activities. Quote. President Trump knows that the

(23:24):
bureaucracy is built to regulate, not deregulate. The results are
an ever increasing number of regulations that stifle innovation and
limit American freedom. That is what the White House said
this week. At the end of the day, what it's
very clear is happening is the President saying, look, we

(23:44):
know there's so many things that are happening that we
may not know about because of so many government regulations
that we are asking you to help. We're giving you
a website that you can go to and you can
be the whistleblower to tell us what we can do
to help you. Never before in our government's history have

(24:05):
we had a place for men and women just like
you and I to go and then tell about how
a regulation is hurting you your business or a industry
that you're involved in. You've also never had a president
encourage the American people to stand up to its own
government and advocate for you, telling exactly what's happening wherever

(24:29):
you are now. Democrats are already criticizing the website, calling
it a ridiculous notion that the American people would be
able to understand what's actually happening and they won't understand
how important the regulations actually are. Well, let me say
this to the Democrats. The American people know good and

(24:51):
well what good businesses look like and what regulations are
doing to destroy their businesses, especially small businesses. And Jon
must put it, it's time for the American people to
have a government that listens to them, that works for them,
that advocates for them, and that makes it easier for
them to succeed than to fail. In business. Make sure

you share this podcast wherever you can on social media,
