I am Sherring Maggie, and it is time for us
to go to God in prayer. And as always, I
invite you to join with me in prayer. You know
this is holy. We can. God calls us to be holy.
But it is also time for us to reflect and
remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. So Lord Jesus, on

(00:25):
this day, God, we remember how you enter the temple,
the place meant for prayer but filled with distraction. God,
we remember how you overturn the tables of injustice, clear
the space where greed had taken root. And so God,
today we ask, will you do the same in us.

(00:47):
Clear the places God, where we're distracted. God, overturn the
injustices in our lives, even in our hearts. God, clear
the space is God, where greed has taken in us.
Walk through the corridors of our heart. God, shine your
light in the cluttered corners. God, reveal what doesn't belong God.

(01:11):
The idols we're clinging to, the pride we feed, the
bitterness we've allowed to growth. God, sweep them away. Restore us. God,
reclaim us as your holy ground. Let our hearts be
true temples again. We know God, your word says that

(01:32):
we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. But God,
we've somehow fallen away. God, we want to be a
place where the Holy Spirit is welcomed. God. We invite
you turn the table over in our lives. God, those
things that distract us from intimacy with You, from our
time spent with you. God. Let this week not just

(01:54):
be ritual for us, but a time of restoration or
time of renewal. God, God, make us people of prayer.
Let us be holy, God, that's what you said. Be
holy because you are holy. God. Let your word be
alive in us. Make space God in us for compassion,

(02:14):
for justice, for humility, for holiness. God cleans us. Lord,
not out of anger, but you are unfail in love.
