Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is time for us to go to God in prayer,
and as always I ask that you join along with me,
Sherry Mackie in prayer. You know, as we are celebrating
Holy Week this week, I'm just thinking about this is
the week that was leading up to the death, burial,
and resurrection of Christ, him making sacrifices for you. For me,
(00:22):
I just want to be pray. Heavenly Father, we come
before you during this Holy Week with hearts full of
awe and full of gratitude. Thank you, Daddy, God, Thank
you for sending your son to die in our stead. God.
We've read your word and read the Bible about the suffering,
the silence, the sacrifice. But today God, we can rejoice.
(00:44):
We can rejoice because we know the stone was rolled
away and the tomb was found empty. He is not there.
Thank you Jesus, he has risen, just like he said.
Lord Jesus, you conquered death. You defeated the grave. You
rolls with all power in your hand. Power over sin,
power over death, power over every force of darkness. What
(01:06):
the enemy meant for your destruction, God, you turn that
thing into the greatest victory this world has ever seen
or experienced. Because of you, we no longer walk in fear,
but in faith. We no longer live as captives, but
as sons and daughters set free by You. Oh, thank
you for the power over death. Thank you for the
power over sin. Thank you for the power over darkness.
(01:28):
Thank you for the power to heal, to restore. To say, Lord,
you broke the grip of death. You rose, Jesus. You
rose in victory, not quietly, not weakly, but in authority,
with dominion, with the resurrection glory. And now you reign.
You share that victory with us. You sit at the
right hand of the Father in aceding for us, reigning
(01:50):
as King of kings and his Lord of lords, holding
all things together by the power of your word. So
today God, we lift our voices and our hearts and
worshiped you. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you, Jesus. Thank you
Jesus for the Cross, Thank you for the empties tomb.
Thank you for rising again with resurrection power, the kind
(02:10):
of power that breaks change, the kind of power that
heals wounds, the kind of power that restores brokenness and
brings dead things to like. God, we thank you. You
are the one who holds the keys to death. Hell
and the grave. You didn't just walk out of the tomb.
You walked out with every chain broken, every purse reverse,
(02:31):
every life silence. Then you walked out with a final word.
That word was a life. And now, Lord, we ask
you to help us to walk in that resurrection power.
Help us to live like we believe you've already won.
Help us to love like you loved, and serve like
you serve, with power and with humility. Let the same
(02:53):
spirit that raised you from the dead be alive in
us today. Because you live, God, we can face tomorrow.
Because you live, God, all fear is gone. Oh God,
we honor you, Jesus, Thank you. We lift your name
above every name, above every fear, above every grave. God,
we praise you Jesus as our risen King. You have
(03:16):
all power, all authority, all victory, forever and ever in
your matchless, mighty resurrected name. We pray, Amen, Amen,
