I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And you know, oftentimes when
something happens with a celebrity, it's brought to life. I
think about the Shennon Sharp situation, and you guys had
a lot of feedback, and we're going to talk about
that a little bit later on. But there are people
who are suffering daily with domestic violence. There are families

who are witnessing it and don't know how to help
or when to turn away, or if to turn away.
They are co workers that are saying, is that a
black eye? And you don't know what to do. So
I just want to pray for those affected by domestic violence.
Poor Lord Jesus, God of Mercy, God of Justice, we
lift before you all God, who are caught in the

(00:45):
pain and the struggle, in the devastation of domestic violence.
For the victims, Lord, wrap them in your protection, Give
them courage God to seek safety and healing. Surround them
with people who will listen, support and walk with them
without judgment. Let them know their worth and your eyes

(01:08):
is unshakable and infinite. Help them to realize who they
are and whols they are, and God, Today we pray
for the abuser pierce through the hardness and chaos of
their souls. Oftentimes, those that have become abusers were themselves abused,
or they've witnessed it in their lives. Help them to
get them help that they need. God, Bring them to

repentance and accountability. Transform their hearts with the power of
your love. God, that they can seek healing and never
again raise a hand or a word and harm, because
we do know that verbal abuse is still abuse. God.
For the children who witness the fear, the confusion, God,

Lord be their peace, God be their safe refuge. God,
I ask that you, God, their minds and their hearts,
replace fear with trust, sorrow with hope, and trauma with
your healing presence. God, Bring people into their lives God,
that will minister healing God in the places where they hurt,

that we will never know about. God. For family members
and friends who see the signs and bear the burden
of worry and concern, Give them wisdom to add, patience
to love, and strength to persist. Let their presence be
a light in the darkness. For all God who suffer

in science. Lord, you make a way where there seems
to be no way. Let your justice roll down like waters.
