I am sharing, Nackie. It is time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always, I asked
that you join along with me. You know, I was
praying with some friends the other day and one of
the things we talked about is how easy it is
for us to make idols out of people and out
of things. So I want to pray about that today,

(00:23):
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before
you with hearts heavy with conviction. God Lord, we confess
there have been times, far too many times when we've
placed men and their opinions and their thoughts are pleasing them.
We've placed possessions or status, or our own desires above you.

(00:48):
Forgive us, Lord, for building idols in the quiet corners
of our heart, for elevating the opinions of others over
your truths, for chasing after approval and achievement and comfort
while neglecting intimacy with You, Lord God, we repent. We
lay down every idol, those we see and even those

(01:09):
hidden from our sight. Tear them down, God, in the
name of Jesus, tear down the need to be seen,
the hunger to be praised, the fear of being forgotten,
tear down every image that we've crafted that's not from you. God,
we surrender them and lay them at your feet. Your
word says you shall have no other gods before you.

(01:30):
And yet, God, we've often let our loyalty drift, turning
our hearts toward created things instead of the Creator. Oh God, Today, Lord,
we return to you. We return with tears and trembling,
asking you got cleanse our heart. We you're a right
spirit within us. Give us wisdom, God, wisdom to desern

(01:50):
what is from you and what distracts us from You.
Give us wisdom to choose obedience over popularity, purpose over pleasure,
and devotion over distraction. Teach us God to seek first
your kingdom and your righteousness, trusting everything else we truly
need will be added in your perfect timing, and also God,

(02:12):
in your perfect way. Let nothing God, no relationship, no ambition,
no possession ever ever rival your place in our lives. Again, Who,
Holy Spirit, be our compass. Keep our hearts soft, our
ears open, and our feet walking steadily in your will. God.
When we're tempted to bow to lesser things, remind us

(02:35):
of the Cross. Remind us that only You are worthy
of worship. Only You satisfy only you save, and now God,
we recommit our lives to you. You alone are our portion,
You aloner our hope, You aloneer our joy. God, consume
every idol with your holy fire, and reign in every

(02:56):
part of us. God, let us live, let us breathe,
we've let us move and serve for your glory only, God,
we want your will for our lives. We want you, God,
to be honored in everything that we do. God, we
love you, we honor you, we praise you in the

(03:17):
matchless name of Jesus. Amen. Amen, Amen,
