I am Sherry Macki, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. You know, I know I
read in the Word about raising your children in the
fear of the Lord, and today I want to pray
for that Father, God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
We come before you today, Father with humble hearts, parents, grandparents,
Thank you God for trusting us with these precious lives.

(00:23):
And God, if we can be honest, we can confess
to you, we can't do this alone. We need your wisdom,
We need your guidance, we need your spirit, We need
your strengths and how to raise our children, our grandchildren,
to be positive influences in their lives. Lord, your word
calls us to bring up our children in the discipline

(00:44):
and instruction that comes from You. And we admit God
that in our business, in our fears and sometimes God
our failures, we just fall short. So today we lay
it all at your feet. Make our homes places of
grace and truth. Help us discipline, not how to frustration
and anger, God, but with wisdom, with love, always pointing

(01:07):
their hearts back to You. Father. For us as parents,
we pray, let us not provoke our children to anger
and wrasp, but raise them with patience, with consistency, with
love and joy. Let our examples be a mirror of
Jesus Christ, honest, repentant, and full of faith. Let us

(01:28):
live a life at home that honors You and represents
you to our family. Let our words be seized with
kindness and our actions overflow with integrity. God, help us
to create dedicated times of prayer and scripture in our homes,
not just out of routine God, but in real relationship

(01:50):
with You God. As grandparents, Lord, give us gentle wisdom.
Help us to bless his support without overstepping, to speak
life and encourage into our children's parenting, and to nurture
faith in our grandchildren. Let our legacy not be one
of things or comfort, but of unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ.

(02:12):
Let us model a faith that endures through storms, celebrates
and joys, and perseveres in prayer. God. God, protect our
children from the lives of this world. God their hearts,
and God their minds. God in Christ Jesus, surround them
with God their friends and influences. Let them know their
identities in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made,

(02:35):
chosen and deeply loved God. We lift up their future,
their friends, their decisions, their struggles, their callings to You. God.
We ask that you fill their lives with purpose and God,
when they wonder, as we all do, draw them back
by your mercy, God, and by your love Holy Spirit,
dwell richly in our homes. Let the fruit of your presence,

your love, your joy, your peace, your patience, thank God,
your kindness, your goodness, your faithfulness, your gentleness, and your
self control flourish in our family tree. God. Let discipline
come with discernment and instruction flow from Your truth. God.
We surrender our parenting, our fears, our hopes, and our
children and grandchildren to You, be the shepherd of their souls. God,

(03:21):
Let our legacy be faithfulness. And let our generations yet unborn,
rise up and call You, bless God, and let their
foundation be in You, a firm foundation. Help us, God,
to set a firm foundation for our children and our
children's children and our children's children's children. In the mighty, amazing,

(03:43):
matchless Holy name of Jesus Christ. We pray, Amen, Amen, Amen,
