Today's Word 04-17-25: What the Father Requires

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
in his time. Right now for today's word, what the
Father requires John fourteen at thirty one, and the New
Living Translation says, but I will do what the Father
requires of me, so that the world will know that

(00:21):
I love the Father. You know, as Jesus approached the
time of the Cross, he said the Prince of the
world was coming, but had no power over him. Then
he added in today's scripture, but I will do what
the Father requires of me, y'all. That last part is

(00:43):
so important. We're all going to face attacks from time
to time, will experience trouble, will experience opposition. The enemy
will come, and he has no power over us. We
have to do what the Father requires. We can't just

sit back and be pitiful and say, why did this
happen to me? Y'all? This ain't fair. Woe is me?
Uh uh? What the Father requires is that we move
forward in faith, no matter what the circumstance. So don't
you let fear hold you back any longer. The only
tools the enemy has are his deception and his lies.

(01:26):
The only power he has is a power you give
him by believing his lies. See. That's why he's called
the Father of lies. You've got to remember he's a
deceiver and there's no truth in him. Don't you dare
believe the lie that a temporary setback or temporary illness
is permanent. Don't you dare water down your dreams. The

enemy is defeated. He's already defeated. Now what you got
to do is get your passion back. You gotta go
out out for what God put already in your heart,
the steps of the right place, ordered by the Lord.
You just do what the Lord requires, and you move
forward in faith. Father God, thank you that we can

(02:11):
guard our hearts and keep it free from all the
lies and the deceptions that the enemy uses to try
to keep us intimidated and living worried. Thank you that
we can ignore the lies and believe the truth of
your word. God. We declare that we will obey and
do what you require of us in Jesus' name. Now

apply that to your everyday life, and you continue to
