Today's Word 04-21-25: Honor God with Your Decisions

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie,
and it's time right now for today's word. Honor God
with your decisions. Colossians three eight through ten says, But
now you yourselves, are to put off all these anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy,

filthy language out of your mouth. Do not light to
one another, since you've put off the old man with
his deeds and put on the new man. You know,
every day you're presented with choices. Am I gonna hold
on to a fence or am I going to let
it go? Am I gonna hang out with friends who

(00:43):
cause me to compromise? Or am I gonna stay on
the high road and be a person of excellence. Am
I gonna cut corners at work? Or am I gonna
have integrity and give it my best? Am I gonna
be critical, harsh and contentious? Or am I going to
be loving, kind and respect. I'm asking you to make
the right choice and put off the old man. Don't

let the flesh take the throne and dictate your life.
Let the spirit rule you. Honor God with your decisions.
You can win the war within. God is calling you higher.
Whatever you know is holding you back. This is the
time to make a change. This is a moment of

(01:25):
grace to do what you couldn't do before. Your decisions
can restore relationship. Your decisions can take you to a
new level in your career, or it can break a
bad habit or addictions. So make sure that you make
decisions that honor God. He says I said before you.

(01:48):
Life and death blessings are cursing. Choose life, Father, Thank
you that you have set us free and given us
the power to make choices that honor you. Thank you.
The change is always possible and we are not stuck
with the flesh rulining our lives. God, we believe that

your grace is here to help us put off the
old man and put on the new. In Jesus' name,
Now that's your word for today. I want you to
take that, apply that to your everyday life and you
continue to be encouraged at and inspired. It's early warning
