He just won twenty five million dollars, which is the
largest scratch off jackpot in state history.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Brittany, that's right.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
This man won more money on a scratcher than anybody's
ever won in the entire state of Florida. That's a
life changing amount of money. Kyle Linquist, Kyle Kyle, forty
five of Venice.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
He hit the jackpot. Now listen to this.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
He bought a fifty dollars five hundred times the cap
scratch off ticket at a circle K whoa a fifty
Have you ever bought a fifty dollars scratch off ticket?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
No, but I've thought about buying the thirty dollars one.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I bought the twenty dollars one. Waity yeah, yeah, I
bought the twenty dollars ones. I've done that a few times.
I've never gone above twenty. I've never bought a thirty.
I certainly have never bought a fifty dollars For something
about it. It's like I just can't pull the trigger
on a fifty dollars ticket.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Maybe maybe you can, Bryan, as I.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Mean, this guy already won the biggest jackpot, so it's
gone already.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Forget it. I mean there's other jackpots. No, it's not
worth it. You're right, you know, a million dollars please.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
It started as a routine stop turning new twenty five
million dollar payday, biggest jackpot ever for Florida scratch off game.
Kyle claimed his massive prize at the Florida Lottery District
office in Fort Myers.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Look at that. He got a lump sum payment of
sixteen mili. Look at you.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
The odds of winning that, by the way, are won
in twenty one million, nine hundred and twenty thousand, three
hundred fifty five.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Well he was at one and twenty one million, nine
hundred and fifty five thousand minutes time. Not even close,
but yes, absolutely he was.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
If we go next two, A trio of Florida men.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
These are three Florida men, Brittany.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
They are now facing charges of criminal mischief according to police,
because these grown men, grown men, were skateboarding in a
parking lot and they decided to take a sledge hammer
to the parking lot.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
It was like this abandoned building, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Okay, so they started smashing up the parking lot with
a sledgehammer while they were doing their skateboarding. And it
turned out that that abandoned building was actually a Bavard
parking lot to a police station.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Oh yeah, well how do you get that? Confused? Very confused. Yeah.
So they're like, oh, they thought it was abandoned. They
thought the.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Building was abandoned. It's actually a police station. It's the
Melbourne Police Department. How rundown is your building when everybody
thinks it's abandoned for real?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Here is the trio of men, one of them identified
as Daniel Cabral. He's thirty six years old, all right,
Daniel on a skateboard at night with his buddies, carrying
a sledgehammer, smashing up a parking lot. Okay, thirty six
years old.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Grow up, yeah, grow up, it's time.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, Daniel thought that the building was abandoned, and the
others that would be twenty three year old Jake Yanko
and twenty eight year old Nicholas Hansen. So all these
guys are definitely adults. Like these aren't like, you know, no,
seventeen year old they're running around.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
They're not nineteen the next that would maybe I could
see doing this. Maybe I blame their daddy's okay, or
lack of daddy.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Thirty six years old, you're riding a skateboard around still
smashing up parking lots with a sledge hammer.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
What are you doing? You just know your father old
child support, I know it. Whose man is this? You
know he's got a girlfriend somewhere?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Oh no, but yeah, these guys always do, so does
this guy.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Florida man offers deputies a hard seltzer and lights up
a cigarette after a crash right before getting arrested.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
He already knew, he already knew. He offered the deputy
a heart seltzer. He go, man, you want one of these?
Want one to the celtzies, and then he lit up
a smoke.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I'm just gonna have a cool smoke after this crash.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Thank you, officer. I appreciate your help, he said, you know,
I wasn't gonna arrest you, but.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
A watermelon seltzer, right, he can't turn that down, That's right, exactly. Yeah.
According to this, this man offered the deputy of vodka spritzer,
and then he walked from his vehicle to light up
a cigarette before he was taste by police, given a
little bit of that Edison medicine. You know what I mean,

(05:00):
ride the lightning. Richard Christopher Smith. He had stolen several items,
including several alcoholic beverages, and walked out of a store.
Deputies were on the way. According to this, he was
in a black minivan. He took off, driving circles around
the store. The deputy's launch pursuit that ended several miles
later when Richard.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Crashed the van that he was in.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Richard then handed the deputy a vodka seltzer and then
lit up a smoke. So like, imagine he had just
stayed home, right imagine, Yeah, dude, you're drinking and smoking
at home.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Dude, you didn't need to go driving around like that.
You know, of course that he robbed the alcohol, but
you know.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
He needed to re up his supply Brittany and Florida
man can't be bothered with things like, you know, having
money to pay for it.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I love it. That is fantastic. Well, very Florida man,
very Florida man.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Indeed, we'll do this again, and so will he every
morning at seven point thirty, and that's about the time
he's getting into his vodka Celtzi's, you know what I
mean about seven thirty.
