Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, it is that time on iHeartRadio for us
to chase down Florida man and or Florida woman and
follow all their exploits. We do that every single day.
In this it's called WTF. That stands for what the
Floridy And we go first to a Florida man and

(00:24):
well maybe it's kind of like okay, So yesterday we
told you the story about a Florida man who was
three hundred and thirty four pounds. That is important to
note because the ride that he went on had a
weight limit of three hundred pounds at one of Disney's

(00:45):
water parks, and this man was injured on that ride.
But that was his faults, right, Remember we had that
story yesterday. Now today we have a Florida man. He's
suing Universal. He claims that he was stuck on the
Harry Potter ride for an hour. Now, there are people
that would pay good money to be on that Harry

(01:07):
Potter ride for an hour or more. Sir, I need
to know which one which ride was it? Right? Yeah?
It stuck as in what like? Right? He's a Florida
man suing Universal, claiming he got stuck on a Harry
Potter ride for over an hour. The lawsuit says that
Casey Causey was at Universal Orlando Resort on the Harry

(01:29):
Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction when it came to
an abrupt stop. When it stopped, the lawsuit says that
the cart was stranded mid air and at an angle
that left Casey kind of tilted backwards and to the right.
He said that he was that way in that position
for an hour, and because there was a power outage.

(01:51):
He blames Universal for not maintaining any kind of backup
generators or anything like that. The lawsuit suggests that Universal
should have known about the defect in this and that
you know that something could have happened now, mister Casey.
Causey says that he suffered from quote, bodily injury resulting
in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, scarring, mental anguish, loss

(02:15):
of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expensive hospitalization, medical
and nursing care treatment, loss of earnings, loss ability to
earn money, damage to property, inconvenience, and aggravation. He takes
off everybody, every single box. He's looking for fifty thousand
dollars for all that, all that anguish and you only

(02:38):
want fifty K. No disfigur it really, yeah, disfigurement, permanent disability,
disfigurement from sitting at an angleburn hour. You don't. You
don't gets a little tilted back to the right. But
you can claim you can. You know what I'm saying, Like,
that's one of those things, you know. Yeah, suing all

(02:58):
that's fun. Good for you, Florida man. We go lastly
to another Florida man. Now he is very guilty, indeed, Brittany.
This Florida man, he was wearing a Coke T shirt,
you know, Coca Cola T shirt. And guess what he
was arrested for selling, Brittany, Oh, let me guess cigarettes. No,

(03:26):
he was selling cocaine. He was wearing a Coke T
shirt and he was arrested for selling cocaine. Yeah, he
sold it to an undercover agent too. His name is
Terry Lee Simmons. Terry Terry. Terry is fifty three years old.
Fifty three, Terry, Terry. You've been selling cocaine for a

(03:48):
long time, man, He's been doing this since the eighties. Yeah,
and when cocaine was really big. Anyway, he was arrested
at his home and Yeah, officers found some weed and
plain view so had some other drugs. And yeah, he
was the guy that was selling cocaine. He sold it
to an undercover agent and then also sold it to
some sort of a driver outside a convenience store. That

(04:10):
driver must have rolled over on him, you know what
I mean, because it must have got caught down the
road buying some drugs. Like, Hey, the guy has sold
it to be his Terry. Well, Terry has been He's
got previous drug convictions going back to the early nineteen nineties. Wow,
Florida man. Yeah, fifty three year old Florida man still

(04:34):
selling coke. Do you think Terry's gonna get a real
job after this? No? Nope, no, But I'll tell you
one thing. You need to back up Terry. You know
what I mean, put a reverse Harry, Oh, Terry. Long.
We go lastly to a Florida man he locked his
own employees inside of his restaurant and demanded six million

(04:58):
dollars over a Netflix document. He I think it's safe
to say this man might be a little bit mentally unhinged. Brittany,
what is going on over there? Yeah, Florida man was
arrested after police say he locked employees inside the Poppy
Steak restaurant while demanding six million dollars. I don't know
if he owns this place or not. I don't know
if he has any actual ties to this. He just
might be some crazy guy, But I think he's guy.

(05:20):
I think so too. Poppy Steak. Yeah, he locked the
employees inside Poppy Steak while demanding six million dollars, saying
that he was owed money for being in a Netflix
documentary featuring Gordon Ramsay. But what does that have to
do with Poppy Steak. That's not his place, right, According
to this fifty nine year old Joaquin Nunyez, he used

(05:40):
a U lock to trap the workers inside the restaurant.
E Nunyez claimed that he had previously worked there. Ah,
I see, and he says, my demand for damages is
six million dollars. Now, the restaurant had to hire a
locksmith to get that thing off. But mister Nuniez was
arrested for attempted extortion, criminal mischief, and possession of all
because he also had drugs on him too. It wasn't

(06:02):
even his no prescription, just a bunch of Oh, that's
what it was. He was on an Addy Binge and
it was all uh, you know, gacked out of his mind,
so to speak. And here he is, you know, making
these crazy claims about, you know, once being in a
documentary featuring Gordon Ramsey and it was on Netflix and
because of that, he's owed six million dollars and because
he used to work there, apparently, I don't know, I

(06:24):
don't know. No, I mean he's in the wrong I'm
gonna go ahead and say he's in the wrong. Arm.
You're gonna say that this is erroneous information on his part. Yeah, ah,
well that was fun. Yeah, it was a lot of fun.
Oh those employees got locked inside of a restaurant by
some crazy persons, right, yeah, but we will do this again,

(06:48):
and so will mister Noon. Yes. Probably, it's got another
U lock just waiting every morning at seven thirty, nine thirty. Hey.
By the way, there's almost three hundred and fifty episodes
of this right now on iHeart Radio and it is
all for free. Get onto iHeartRadio, look for the Freak Show.
WTF the podcast. That's the Freak Show, w TF the podcast.

(07:12):
And this is what I'm wondering. What you have a
you have a restaurant full of employees, a steakhouse. They
got knives and put your knives and all kinds of
stuff they should have just you know what I say,
How do you let this guy anyway? These are all
questions I have
