going to talk about planes this morning. In this trending update.
Southwest Airlines just announce that there's a new policy that
they're putting into effects starting tomorrow, prohibiting passengers from using
portable charging devices stored inside carry on bags. So starting tomorrow,

if you're flying on Southwest, you need to know about this.
Passengers must keep power banks and chargers visible while in
use during flights, so you could use it in the
seat pocket or on your trade table. But this is
all to prevent a potential fire hazard. The airline's decision

is driven by safety concerns over these lithium ion batteries,
which you may know can overheat, they can catch fire.
Southwest and the first is the first US airline to
implement this policy, and that goes into effect tomorrow. They
say twenty two incidents already reported in twenty twenty five
from the batteries, six hundred last year involving lithium batteries.

walk down that you know, the carpeted stairs, like we've
all seen a bazillion times. So as that door opens,
and this is on video, all right, the First Lady
of France is seen with her hand squarely on the

President's face, like right across her foot, shoving him back,
and they apparently got into a little squabble. And this
whole thing has gone viral. The moment was captured on
camera Sunday evening when the couple was landing. A member
of the French President's staff seen opening the door of

their presidential plane moments before Bridget seventy two placed her
hands on forty seven year old mccroan's face and shoved
his butt back. So, you know, I mean, who knows
what they were getting into, and it's none of my business,
but that's a little embarrassing, you know what I mean.

up and laugh it off, and that makes it even worse,
I guess, but he had a shocked expression on his face.

very touching and a very special fifty eighth annual Memorial
Day ceremony at Delaney Valley Memorial Gardens and pneumonium specialist
Jacob Mullen one of ten of the fallen service members

who were honored. Mullen, a father, a son, fiance, served
in the Army for seven years, was previously deployed to Poland.
Jacob and Steph Sergeant Shelby Butner, both died during a
training exercise in Georgia January thirtieth when their tactical vehicle
rolled off into a standing water and was remembered. I'm

just going through these stories that we heard yesterday just
remind all of us of not only what Memorial Day
you know, is all about, but just this sacrifice that
so many families in our area have made.
