to changing their spending habits in this economy.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
I think we all have because you know why you've
been forced to.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yeah, I mean it's way more than two thirds. I
mean that's that's just who admitted that they've changed their
sending Well, I mean when you go to the grocery store.
We have two kids, Yeah, they're living with us, and
you can't help but be just. I mean, I remember
when you could spend one.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
Hundred dollars at the grocery store and get a week's food.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah. And I want to say it's like three or
four hundred. You can't do it. I mean it's I.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Mean you can, you can, you can, but it's almost
like a full time job trying to reduce your your
you know what I mean, like your grocery bill.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Here's how it's changed me.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
I used to be the kind of guy who when
I went to the grocery store, I would just go
on and buy what I wanted. I'd walk up and
down the aisles and I'm like, oh, I like that.
I want to get that snial good. Yeah, Because all
along I've been living with somebody who is a coupon clipper, right,
and I never did that, never, And I saw how
much money can be saved.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
And then you start paying five dollars for a box
of cereal. Yeah, and you're like, what the heck am
I doing?
Speaker 4 (02:16):
I mean, it's nuts. I know.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Personally, I would love to please share what you have
stopped doing or have changed your habits seven seven ninety
six to two. Begin your message with higher hay. Personally,
I know we go out to eat way less. I
mean like way less right, and I self care stuff
I've kind of cranked down on because.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
It's just too like, well, it's funny you bring that up.
I was at Target.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
There's an aisle and I don't know if every guy
understands this, because I didn't understand it. I don't know,
but I never realized how many different types of just
every product girls get. I mean, whether it's lipstick or
makeup or foundation. I'm like, what is all this stuff?
It's expensive to be a lady. Oh my gosh, it's insane.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, ninety three point one WPOC traffic all right, So
big big accident right now on seventy eastbound.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
The westbound lanes affected of course as well, and that's
going to be between Sykesville and Marriottsville Roads. It looks
like it's going to be shut down for a couple
of hours, so steer clear. That's the biggest headline so
far this morning. There's an accident on Slmon's Island Road
northbound by Alan Boulevard. Left lane is blocked there. We're
slow in our usual spots. And then we have emergency
(03:37):
roadwork on Seller's Point at Merritt.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
And here here's what it's like to be a guy.
You get me a can of old spice, a bar
of soap, and a bottle of shampoo, and I'm ready
to go. I mean in a pinch. You need all
that I don't know. Here's what we need this morning.
Look out stand.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Back there it goes that gosh darn window at the
free ticket window is open.

day delivery to over ninety eight percent of the US.
I see U, Staples. That was easy.
Speaker 4 (04:33):

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Michael Jay's Music City Minute in sixty seconds. You gon't
know like you own music road.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
All right, Hey, Bethany, let's call this one the Michael
Jay Music City Minute starring Megan Maroney. Okay, it's all
about the Megan Maroney minute. She is going to be
getting her own bar in Nashville too. I know yesterday
you were talking about Post Malone getting a big bar. Well,
Megan's gonna have a pop up bar. The Emo Cowgirl
(06:01):
Rooftop Lounge opens tomorrow. If you happen to be heading
to Nashville, it'll be there from tomorrow through August thirty first,
So for the summer, go on over to the West
End in downtown Nashville and go right to the rooftop
and you will see the Megan.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Morony pop up bar. They say, think that's cool? It
God be really cute.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Yeah, all right, now speaking to Megan, like I said,
the Megan minute here.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Which I feel like all your minutes you'd like to
Megan minutes.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
I dream, I can dream, all right. A TikTok creator
named Faith. Now picture this just a big fan, all
right who loves Megan Morony. And she's also a Riley
Green fan. She was on her TikTok and there's a
video that has now gone viral because she she tagged
(06:48):
Megan Morony in this She's listening to a Megan Morony
song in the video this Faith all right, and Faith
is wearing a Riley Green shirt where Riley is shirtless. Okay,
well here's what blew up and made this whole thing viral.
Megan Maroney responded in the comments, Oh, she commented on
(07:10):
Faith's video, exactly got it. And in the comment here's
what Megan Maroney said, three words need that shirt. So
now everybody thinks this is confirmation that Riley and Meghan
are dating. Remember everybody was saying that Riley was dating
Ella Ella Langley, but then.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
They said he wasn't because he was in a different relationship,
and that relationship is no. That is speculation in Maroney, Well,
he's here next week. We're gonna have to ask him.
We're gonna have to ask.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Ninety three point one to the new POC traffic.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
You know what he's gonna say, huh. If he says no,
then I'm might He's gonna say, huh, shoot my shot.
You're like, what, Well, listen, you can't be going after
Riley Green. You had a thing for Dirk's Bentley. Well,
you know, DIRKS doesn't come till later in the summer,
so I've got time. You're gonna two time on DIRKS.
All right. Time for traffic, all right?
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Seventy eastbound between Sykesville and Marriottsville Roads closed right now
due to an accident investigation.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
So that's going to be closed probably through the eight
o'clock hour.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
We've got an accident on Solomon's Island Road northbound by
Mayo Road.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Looks like the right link.
Speaker 7 (08:30):
Check ple smar still.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Too.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
I think I'm still breathing, all right.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Ninety three point one WPOC. Good morning, Michael, Jay and Bethany.
And we just got a lot of text coming in
here gets about we just like in.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
The trending report we just mentioned that two thirds of
people have changed their spending habits.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
I think it's we have. We gotten a lot of
text messages about how people have changed their spending habits
due to just the I guess what we call it
shifty economy.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
No, it's the fact that you can't pay all your bills.
Can I tell you something really personal?
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Yeah? Please?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
So I don't know how much I should get into this,
so I cashed my four oh one k okay, and like,
I'm like, you know what, I know, this might not
be smart, but I took the money. It was a
considerable amount of money because I've been saving it for
a while and I used it to buy just the
smallest little condo that is an ocean city okay, right,
(09:30):
And I was able to buy it with cash because
of the money for my four o one k.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
Right.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
Well, they take taxes out of that money when you
can take it early, and I thought, well, I should
be good.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
End of the year came for twenty twenty four.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Holy crap, I owed forty a lot okay, forty big
ones forty a lot. And I was like, that's so
I had to go back and actually end up putting
a loan on the property because I couldn't buy it
with cash because I need the money to pay the irs.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Oh god, So I paid the irs. Okay, all right.
They sent me a letter yesterday and freaking fried me.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
Oh right, they said, you under paid your your income
tax debt by it's like one hundred and seventy dollars
or two hundred dollars, right, two hundred bucks and whatever
it is. And then they said because of that, we're
charging you a fifty percent fine. So it ended up
I got to pay him, like on a four hundred dollars.
So whatever it is, I swear I.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Took that letter. And I'm like, you sure, no way, Yeah,
so I have to pay another four hundred and some bucks.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
I know it.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Again, I'm not trying to no, but it is this.
But this is the kind of thing that I'm like,
what do they call it? Like death by a thousand
paper caps?
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Like it?
Speaker 5 (10:43):
This is the kind of thing like, Okay, you know what,
I was thinking of flying out to see my daughter
when I'm off on vacation next week. Yeah, I don't
know if I can swing it now because I'm like,
I'm not going to go buy an Yeah, I mean, listen,
four hundred bucks to me is a lot of money, right, you.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Know what I mean? Yeah, exactly, And like and it's
the sense of justice too, come on, damn it, damn it,
damn it.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
You know.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
So that's where I'm i at is And I say,
you're talking about how you know we're making these modifications.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yeah, we have to. Everybody has to.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
So everybody's taking all your money, I know. Don't get
me started. On my gas an electric pill.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Oh jeez, beg's a whole other. A lot of people
are saying switch to generic brands.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
I've done that in some cases. In some cases there's
some stuff I will know. There's some things that you
just you know they are better quality. Sometimes you got
to buy quality.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
I used to have like kind of expensive skincare, and
now I have like cheaper stuff. Someone said I moved
my hair appointments further and further apart. Someone said, I
do my nails at home unless it's a special occasion.
She used to go all the time to the salon,
Now she doesn't.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
I don't think guys realize how much women drop on
nails and peticure and all that.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
That's like a hundred bucks. It's very expensive, isn't it.
Like when I joked earlier about how it's expensive to
be a lady. But no, Joe, it's on the other hand.
But see, like being a guy, I really I love nails.
I look at at toenails and thingnails. Oh really, so
you think it's worth it. I think there are a
lot of guys who don't care.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
No I do. I did it. I get it, okay,
But I also feel like if but I don't know,
it's one hundred dollars, and then you get your tip
in and it's like, geez, that's not hot. I think
this one's interesting. I make way less doctor's appointments. Man,
I don't like hearing that.
Speaker 7 (12:30):
I will.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I don't like because you're paying insurance and you're paying
co pays co insurance.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
So I get it, it's understand it. But here's what
I just hate hearing it. It's just because if you're
not staying on top of getting regular tests and you
can't end up costing you in the long run. Well, yeah,
I mean there's nothing more important than our health, right yeah, oh.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Yeah for sure, But like, our health is one of
the most expensive things going right now. So if you
want to weigh in on what you've changed based on
the shifty account of me, let us know seven to
seven ninety six two. Begin your message with high or.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Hay ninety three point one w POC Michael J. And
(13:28):
Beth and you what were you going to say? These
texts are cracking me up. You shared a little bit
about your personal your Michael J. Economy. I mean I'm
being honest, right, somebody said Michael you need a life coach.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
Well, yeah, because a lot of people would tell me,
I'm sure that cashing your four oh one K and
you know taking the money is not a smart move.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
I heard the hearts of a lot of financial advisors
break when you saw but you know what I mean.
But my little real estate heart was like, you know,
sometimes real estate's a better investment.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
And the grand scheme of things, I thought, you know, listen,
if the whole world goes to you know, I could
live in this little efficiency in Ocean City if I
have to.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
I mean, I could worst case scenario. So I just think,
I don't know, I just I love That's what I did.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
I love though, Like that's that's where we are, Like
we're thinking of worst case.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
Well, no, it's not that. But I also think I
look back at my parents. My parents had a unit
in Ocean City, and then my parents got divorced, and
then they got rid of it, and I'm like, if
they'd have kept that condominiums and they my parents paid
seventy eight thousand dollars for a condominium at the Carousel
(14:41):
in nineteen seventy eight. Do you know what they sell for? Now,
That's what I'm saying, so, and my mom and dad
got rid of it. And I'm like, and not to mention.
As a kid, you're like a spoiled kid. As an adult,
you're like, I wanted to stay.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
There, you know, So we asked, So we're asking, like,
what are you doing? What do you do like right
now differently than you were even a year ago. Cindy says,
shopping in general, way less, less clothes, less accessories.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Somebody else said, I eat out way less. That's what
I like. I'm kind of I kind of miss it,
like I miss eating out as you know, you used
to do it at least I well, like whenever you wanted,
and now it's like for to do that. I want
to go out on Friday, I can't go you know
what I mean? Yeah, I can't get takeouts to night.
You got to live.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
It's summertime, isn't it time. I mean, I'm still getting
steam crabs. I'm gonna look for the better prices. You know,
I'll probably you know, I've gone from it used to
get extra large or large.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
I might go for mediums now.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Someone this is sad too. Someone said, I'm an avid reader.
I typically buy about seventy books. A year. This year,
I haven't bought that many books, but luckily they get
to go to the library and like, so, you know,
there's something kind of.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Interesting about it.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Like I was talking to my parents the other day
and I was like, I'm so glad I grew up
really poor because this is not that.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Far ninety three point one POC traffic.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
My mom was like, Okay, you're welcome. I lived at
Elmley Avenue off Flair Road when I was a kid.
I grew up Blair Erdman and you know, hey, I
am a Baltimore boy and proud of it. Same thing.
You know, you gotta be who you are.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, all right, there's an excedent on seventy eastbound between
Sykesville and Baltimore National Pike. There's an investigation happening right now.
The left lane is finally getting by, but doesn't look
like it's going to be completely cleared until later in
the eight o'clock hour.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Okay, then we're stopping.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Go on thirty two westbound between Telegraph and Annapolis ninety
seven seven with this heart.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Michael, Jay and Bethany, It's time to get things rolling.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Ninety three point one WPO.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
C Now tru All right, a Florida man. So you
know where this has gone. God, let's start right out.
A Florida man wearing a ski mask and carrying tools.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
Now imagine this. You got this guy with the ski mask. Ok,
he's got all kinds of big tools. The police are like,
what the heck is he doing? Very nonchalantly, he told
them he was on his way to watch his ex
girlfriend's sleep.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Uh, I'm sorry, that's actually not funny, but it's no
what do you think The officers are like, what deputies?
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Naturally?
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Naturally, they said, this twenty year old Jalen Vallejo is
a suspect of something.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
I mean, he's got to be up to no good.
They search his truck.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Inside they find a backpack containing Dufft tape, no wirecutters,
spray paint, and a sledgehammer. Vallejo then offered up another nugget.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Bethany. Uh huh, he told my god, he told them.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
He said that he's actually been going to his ex's
house for more than six months to watch her sleep.
He said he didn't know that he might, you know,
have to use some of the tools, so he wanted
to have him.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
With him just to you know, lever know when you
need some tools.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
He's charged with aggravating stalk, aggravated stalking, attempted arm, burglary, loitering, prowling,
possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief, and they're trying to
come up with some more charges. Wow, he's being held
without bail.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Watching.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Well, they went and talked to this woman and they're like,
do you know this guy. He says he watches you sleep.
He's been doing it for six months. She's like, what
the heck is terrifying. She broke up with him, and
then you know, yeah they're not they're not together, uh clearly. So, yeah,
he's in jail.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Sounds like a good place for him. Yeah, yeah, he
needs to get some help.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Seventy eastbound between Sykesville Road and Marrittsville Road is closed
right now. That's in Howard County. It's an accident investigation.
Looks like it's gonna they're estimating a three hour timeframe
for that. So if you're headed in that direction, you're
gonna need to take another Route eight ninety five southbound
between the Route TOO Spur and BW Park Wayne nexton
has the right lane blocked there and then we're slow
(19:03):
already on BW Parkway between Arundem's Boulevard and one seventy five.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
One of the stars of wpoc's Saturday in the Country
is coming up.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
This report is sponsored by Eerie Insurance.
Speaker 7 (19:13):
Racking up one hundred years of service and paving the
way for millions of miles of open road. Then now
always Eerie Insurance.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
The dq saut and tossed chicken strip baskets have more
flavor than your taste.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Let's know what to do with We start with all
white meat, bread and seasoned and fried.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
To great.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
All right, instant decision here with Michael, Jay and Bethany.
Should we play another song or are you ready for
Bethany's brief.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Now I'm always ready. Oh, I know you are all right? Well,
then let's go.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
We want to find out what's going on in show business.
And I just want to invite all of our seven listeners.
Anytime you find out about something that you want to
know more about, you give us a holler and we
would love to investigate.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
I oh, my goodness, are you are you ready? No? Not,
I just computer malfunction. Computer malfunction.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I keep up in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really do. Free on ninety three point one.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
So Kylie Jenner and.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Most of the Kardashian family really are revealing what plastic
surgery they've had done and who's done it, and we're
almost and a lot of them are giving like road
maps to exactly what has been cut and what has
been okay, piece back together. Wow, I find this very interesting.
I know a lot of people are like, I don't
care about the Kardashians. I understand, Yeah, I don't either.
But what I find interesting about this story in the
(21:00):
we all might want to pay attention to, is that
they are being honest about it and.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
They being like, this is what I ask.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, I look different because of that. And I think
this is important for Okay, get my soapbox for a second.
I think this is important for women everywhere, especially young
girls trying to aspire to look like them. You cannot
do it because it's not real, right, you know what
I'm saying. Like, it's not even a filter. It's like
they've had many surgery rights to look like you know,
(21:28):
I know.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Very little about the Kardashians, but I saw a story
popped up somewhere the other night that one of the
Kardashians actually used to be like an intern for Paris Hilton.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Did you know that. Yeah, that's right, a stylist. Yeah, okay, yeah,
wild before they were famous.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:45):
And then she met y Ja and the rest is history. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
So anyway, it's very interesting, I think a story to follow,
because you know, it's just important to remember that we
cannot just look like a Kardashian naturally.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
How about we just look like our elves and we're happy.
You're beautiful just the way you are. Ba Okay, Tom Hanks,
this is interesting too. Tom Hanks's daughter from his first marriage.
How many times has he been married? I think just twice.
Been with reader for quite a while, right right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
This was many, many moods. Okay, So you had a
daughter from that marriage. She's written a memoir of the
of the family and her mentally ill mother, okay, which
I think is Wow, that's gotta be tough. That's gotta
be really hard. But Tom is very supportive. He says,
I'm not surprised that my daughter wrote this, and I
think she's incredibly honest, and we had a checkered past, and.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
So I think it's I think it's big of him to.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
Well, I mean he he will always have the relationship
with her and having a daughter together. And then you
look at it from the daughter's standpoint, her relationship with
her mom is really important, regardless of how broken.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
It might be. Sad but interesting, probably worth a read.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Mister Beast says he's actually having to borrow money from
his mom to fund his wedding, despite his estimated one
billion dollar net worth. He says he's invested it, reinvested
it back into all of his businesses and he doesn't
have anything liquid to pay for his wedding.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
I got a credit card. My heart is bleeding.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
And then lastly, Goldfish dropping a new flavor for summer.
You know the crackers Awesome sauce flavored Goldfish crackers are sweet, smoky,
and tangy yummy. Ninety three point one w POC traffic
seventy eastbound between sykes Phille Road and Marriottsville Road is
closed right now due to an accident investigation that looks like.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
It's going to be shut down for about three hours.
So that's right.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Ninety three point one WPOC on a Throwback Thursday with
Alan Jackson. Hey, real quick, I really want to throw
it back. Does this song bring back any memories to you, Bethany?
I asked you about this movie yesterday. I don't think
you remember it. This is more from my generation because
(24:06):
I'm a little bit older than you.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
What year did it come out?
Speaker 5 (24:09):
This was out in nineteen eighty five, big pop song
for Huey Lewis in the news.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
It's curious.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
This was the theme song from the first Back to
the Future movie. And the reason I bring it up
is all the stars from that movie, Michael J. Fox
and all of them, they reunited, not for reboot, but
because they're trying to find the guitar that Michael J.
Fox played. There's a scene in this movie. It was
(24:39):
like the under the Seed dance or something, and if
you remember, Michael J. Fox got up and he was
playing this red electric guitar and he just well, love
it right, And so at the end, Wow, there's this
whole thing about Chuck Berry, who played that style of
guitar back in the day. And Chuck Berry's cousin or
(25:02):
whatever is at the dance and Michael J. Fox is playing,
and so he's like, he calls up Chuck Brokeer. He's like, chalk, Chuck,
you got to hear this guy play. And then all
of a sudden, Michael J. Fox starts losing his power
because time was changing and they had gone back and
he wasn't going to be created. Okay, am I making
any sense at all? It was an awesome movie, But anyway,
(25:24):
I just think it's wild. They're looking for this guitar
and they don't know where it is. Can you imagine
what that thing's from?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Work?
Speaker 4 (25:31):
It's some warehouse in Hollywood, Yeah, it probably is, but
they're looking for it. So anyway, if you see a
red guitar, it could be worth millions. Might be here
in Baltimore. You never know where it is.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
With eBay and everything these days, you know what I'm saying.
All Right, listen, we have got a question and we
need your help on this. You can text seven seven
nine nine three to two six two seven seven nine
six two. I got too many numbers going. When you
text even seven nine six two, start with hey or high.
You can always call us at eight hundred three two
(26:04):
one thirty six ninety three yeah, I have some ages
for you. Right, men, this is the age you should
stop doing things.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
All right. So if you're a guy, this is interesting.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
Compare this to you and your life and let us
know whether you're doing this at an age that she's.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Gonna mention or not. Have you stopped should be the question?
All right?
Speaker 1 (26:26):
So you you think about this for yourself. Let's gay, Uh,
taking money from your parents?
Speaker 4 (26:32):
I would let me say, what do you that stopped?
I think I stopped that. Well, you know, what what
age were you? Well? I mean as far as like,
here's twenty bucks. That was when I was a teenager.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
But I will confess that at a couple of different
points in my early adulthood.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
You know, parents give you a wedding gift. Does that count? Uh?
Probably not. No. I think this is more like, look alone,
if you get into a problem, Listen, I need like
thirty bucks to get me in to Friday. I think
that probably ends like eighteen.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
They're saying twenty three. Okay, living with your parents, when
should men move out?
Speaker 4 (27:06):
I moved out at eighteen. They're saying twenty five. Now, wow,
I guess you could have gotten a few more years
in unless you're taking care of your parents or right? Okay?
What about video games? When should you give up video games?
You know what, This is going to sound totally uncool
to me, but I just I was not a gamer? Okay,
So I mean I played video games. No, I was
(27:28):
like eighteen, probably eighteen nineteen, and then that kind of
phased out on them.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
All right, twenty four okay, unless it's just every once
in a while. What about not taking care of your body?
Speaker 4 (27:39):
I think you should always do that. Well, you know
how like you think people stop taking care of their body? No, No, no,
I think they don't start like I think at some point.
I mean I'm lazy, If that's what you mean. I'm
not out running at the cathlon. They mean like kind
of grooming properly and fitness? When you should stop that start?
When'd you stop? Compute? I never started?
Speaker 3 (28:01):
No?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
I think you start when you're like, I think you
start when you're sixteen.
Speaker 5 (28:05):
When you start, okay, you know what I mean, when
you when you well, maybe a little younger, but when
you realize there's an opposite sex.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
I think that's when you start, like, oh, I better
groom a little.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
Better, takes a shower two what so In other words,
guys before twenty two don't have to worry about taking
a shower.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Apparently, what about taking care of your mental health? What
age should men decide that that's a good idea.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Oh, as soon as you become an adult, I think
you start thinking about it. Uh huh right, this says
twenty five. Right. What about hooking up sleeping around?
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Well, there's the parental side in me that says you
should wait till you're you know, a little bit more mature.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
But I'm also realistic. I think it's probably happening. Happened
in teens, mid teens. When should you stop though, When
should you like settle down? When should you stop all together?
Like messing around, one night stand that kind of stuff. Well,
apparently when you get mad. Okay, they're saying twenty eight. Well,
and that's probably a good age to start thinking about
getting married. I mean, if you meet someone right, right,
(29:07):
right right? What about having like dead end jobs? Well,
hopefully you don't have too many of those, but if
you have them, I think the sooner you realize. I
don't know if there's an age group. Though it's thirty.
They're saying thirty, So don't have any dead end jobs
after thirty. Like you by thirty you should have your
career set. You should.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Yeah, but how do you know, I mean like you
might be figured out by thirty. All right, let us
know if you agree with this list or if you
think that these ages are skewed.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
Seven seven nine sixty two is the text number you
can call eight hundred and three two one thirty six
ninety three A driver around my mind.
Speaker 8 (29:48):
I can't count the times you made me feel like them,
play me like a fool, Like a fool, saying drink
and never with.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
Ninety three point one w poc so while Nate Smith
was saying, Michael J. And Bethany we just went back
and rewatched the clip of Back to the Future where
Michael J.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
Fox is rocking out to that it's you know, to
a Chuck Berry song. And he did not trash the guitar,
but there somebody had text said I think he smashed
the guitar.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
No, Then like three minutes later they were like, hey,
just kidding, I don't think he smashed the gut.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
We just saw it.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
He tipped over the app.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Yeah, but anyway, that's the guitar they're looking for this morning,
and now the text we've been looking for. What you
think about the proper age to do certain things?
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, there was a study about men and when they
should stop doing things like stop living with their parents,
stop taking money from their parents.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
Blah blah, blahlah blah.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Ryan says, I stopped taking money from my parents in
the early twenties. Then someone said, I'm a fifty one
year old gamer. I play least ten to twenty hours
a week. Also I'm married with kids.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
Well, you know what, if you grew up and you've
played video games when you were a kid, it is
a stress relief. And I admit ten to twenty hours. Well,
you know what, I'll confess to something else. Here's what
I just realized. You know, you asked about video games,
and I immediately flash back to like Nintendo, right, But
the fact is I do play games on my phone.
(31:46):
So I think, isn't that the same thing?
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Oh? Yeah, course yeah. But I would say, like, so
maybe I'm strung again. If you're paying ten to twenty
hours a week, check in with your fam what they think?
Speaker 4 (31:57):
Do you think I'm doing?
Speaker 5 (31:59):
You know what, I remember how we used to read
magazines when we were indisposed that's ninety three point one
WPOC traffic toilet time.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
I'm all, is that bad? Is that bad that I'm
all about? You know you're not alone?
Speaker 5 (32:12):
And there's one particular one with Doco. Do you ever
hear about this with Duco showed? Yeah, that's my go
to So anybody else addicted to wood the.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Toilet game, Yeah, it is. To be honest, I'm like,
all right, oh god, I can do that for twenty hours.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
On seventy eastbound between Sykesville Road and Marriottsville Road. We're
closed right now due to an accident investigation. Looks like
that's going to be closed for a couple more hours.
We are a little bit backed up before both tunnels.
Nothing too bad though, and starting to get real congested
in our usual spots.
Speaker 5 (32:41):
We're gonna throw that rock through the window and bust
open our free ticket window this morning at seven oh
five for w POC Saturday in the Country
