the morning in a Mickey d Draft.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Too Uppins want coffe A little bitty Jude.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
There he is Kane Brown, backseat Driver ninety.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Three point one w POC. Good morning, it's the Michael
J Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Michael on vacation.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
So you've got Bethany and my big daughter Madeline. I
say that because Caine was singing about his little baby girl,
and I think all parents are like we.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We remember that. Okay. Anyway, so good morning, So thanks
for hanging with me.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
We're wrapping up because Madeline brought a weird breakfast this morning.
Well I think it's weird, but it's peanut butter and yogurt,
and so we were talking about what your weird breakfast is.
So you were talking about weird things that you can
put with peanut butter. Someone said peanut butter and pickles
two of my favorites. I'm gonna try it, and then
they said I love your daughter.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
She fits right in.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Oh thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Then someone said peanut butter with cream cheese or whipped
cream oatmeal, pudding, ice cream, fruit and veggies, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Kind of like carrot cake, cream, cheese, peanut butter.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
That's a stretch. Okay, that's a stretch. Then someone said
pickles and peanut butter. Yes, I really enjoy a peanut
butter with bread and butter, pickle chip sandwich on white bread, hamburger, dill,
pickles will do in a pinch. I also like peanut
butter and apple sauce. Oh that was Lynne. She says,
have a great day. I don't know, and then Kay
wants to know. Do you stir the peanut butter and

(01:34):
the yogurt together?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
So I usually just.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Put a few globs, sorry for the term, in and
stir it up and with the berries.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, all right, ninety three w C.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Now, all right, so what's trending today? Violence in California continues.
There are riots, the ice arrests, and then the people
protesting the ice arrests, and it's getting quite dangerous.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
National Guard has stepped in.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Okay, So the oil spill in the harbor last week.
First they said it was like two hundred gallons, then
they said it was two thousand gallons, then they said
it was five thousand gallons.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yikes. Yeah, So but the good.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
News is experts are saying that almost five thousand total
gallons have been cleaned up. So we're on our way.
And they are taking great care of the turtles. I
know a lot of people, a lot of people worried
about the turtles. They're extra caution being taken to take
care of the turtles. So that's good news. And then

(02:41):
we you and I were talking over the weekend about
this AI like server facility problem.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
All the facilities are messing with the surrounding area.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Okay, so AI like EI, there's all kinds of different AIS,
but like you know, Chat Gypt and then like Microsoft
has their own Aistagram.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah, Facebook, blah blah.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
So what's happening is in order to run all that AI,
they need these giant facilities with servers in them. And
it kind of if they they're putting up up all
over the place, and it's kind of wreaking havoc on
the environment, huge and the the electric grid and blah blah.
So I don't know what they're planning on doing about
this problem.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It's like it's like whack a mole.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, Like there's like a problem and then you solve it,
and then there's like another problem and then you solve it.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
So anyway, that's happening.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
But uh, you know, luckily people beyond our Payscille are
hopefully figuring it's probably figuring that out.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Well, what was that, mom? That's the ticket window?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Uh huh eight hundred three thirty six ninety three Coller
number nine. We've got a pair of tickets for you
for Flatland Cavalry and A and Month Sick.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
You can win those tickets right now if you're called number.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Nine ninety three point one w POC. Congrats to David Atkins,
He's going to see Flatland, Calarie and Ian Munsick.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
It's the Michael j. Morning Show. Thank you for tuning in.
Michael's on vacation. Madeline.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
My daughter is sitting in and keeping me company today.
What is your.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Favorite country song, Madeline? I'm gonna play it for you.
Can I give you a sample? Yeah, let me see
if we have it? Okay, Hey, da up, been watching
you know?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Ain't that?

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I think I know just the one you're talking about.
Rodney Atkins watching you A ninety three point one w POC.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Madeline's favorite country song? Turn It up.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Ninety three point one WPOC, It's the Dance, It's Garth,
It's the Michael J Morning Show, Michael on Vacation, It's Bethany.
And I dragged my daughter Madeline out of bed to
come hang out with me today because I don't like
to be lonely.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
So thanks for coming, Thanks for having me. Our whole
office is under construction.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, it's like covered in trash bags and like plastic gray.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Then they put floor protector down and none of the
office staff are coming to work. So like when I
say I need you to keep me company, I mean
like literally, I won't see another face today.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
So I was like, oh no, I'm going to be lonely.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
But they're keeping it real clean. The construction like, oh yeah,
looks good. Yeah, coming along, it's coming along. It's all right,
all right. So you're a vegetarian, yes, I am, and
also on the dating scene, I am. And so my
question for you is is the would you date someone

(05:56):
or not date someone based on whether or not they
were a vegetarian and or has someone chosen not to
hang out with you because of your eating status?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
So I it's for me, it's not a deal breaker.
I don't mind. I have dated people in the past
who ate me.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
And I didn't mind it. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
The only time you noticed it is if you know,
going for a kiss, all right, a little fishy, maybe
little chicken breath a little bit, but no, it's not
a deal breaker. It's not a deal breaker.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Okay. Have you had people be like, I don't want
to date a vegetarian?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
At most, they'll like crack a joke about it.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
They're probably testing the waters to see if you're like
a judge vegetari.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, yeah, pretty much exactly, because I think there are
some vegans and vegetarians out there who like don't want
to associate with meat eaters and vice versa.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Well, good news for you. Oh okay, there's a new
dating app.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
It's called It's free in the app store. It's for
it's for vacans and vegetarians only. I love.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I wonder if you can filter it based on vegan
or vegetarian or like there's like different levels, right, like
do you eat.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
An Mexitarian pescatarians? How open? Are you? Only raw?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Right? What are your deal breakers when you're dating? And
I want to know if you're on one of these
niche dating sites.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Are you on any of the like there's.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Like the Farmers only No, I don't, I'm not no,
I've never heard of that. Based on the mainstream ones.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I want you to call or text us seven to
seven nine six to begin your message with higher hay,
which dating apps are you on? I just kind of
want to take a temperature of our listeners, like what
do you do? You want?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Tinder?

Speaker 3 (07:48):
You on? Hinge Bumble unique ones? Yeah? Or eight six
ninety three is the way to get ahold of us
here at the studio. We're talking dating apps today. I
know tons of people meet online these days. So this
one's Megan mulroney and her first number one am I okay,

(08:12):
it's a good song.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Ninety three point one WPOC. It's dal Jackson. Where I
come from? Good morning, It's Monday.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
It's a Michael j Morning Show, Michael on vacation, just
Bethany hanging out. But I did in the parking lot
find a very special guest co host. Would you like
to say hello guest co host? Hi, good morning, mm
whose voice is that? If you want to text and
guess who my special guest co host is, let me
know who you think it is, seven to seven nine

(08:47):
six to begin your message with hi or hey, and
let's check and see what's going on. Ninety three point
one WPOC Now try okay. Violence in California continue as
ICE agents continue to arrest people. The National Guard has
been sent in. It looks like something like two thousand

(09:09):
National Guard members have gone in to I guess try
to keep everybody safe. Looks like, boy, I read the story,
I read the headlines, and then I saw some of
the photos and it gave me chills. It is not
a good scene. It looks really scary, super violent. I'm
just thinking of everybody there and hoping that everybody.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Everybody ends up okay. All right. The TSA, guys, this boy.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
The TSA is asking travelers on their official Facebook and Instagram.
They're saying, please, guys, you cannot use your Costco membership
card as proper identification for flights. Apparently in the airports
people are showing their Costco cards as real ID and

(09:59):
that is not the can And apparently it's happening so
many times that people.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
They have to put out a statement about it. Isn't
that wild.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Also, there's a storm a situation that happened overnight in
the area, and I'm just wondering if I haven't gotten
any text with anybody saying they got any bad damage,
so maybe it's not as bad as everybody thought it
was going to be. Of course, you can text about
that or anything else. Seven seven nine, six to two.
Just begin your message with high or hey, ninety three
point ONEPOC. Trap all right, trapped ninety three point one WPOC.

(10:36):
It's Sam Hunt country house.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
It's a Michael J Morning Show, Michael on vacation.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Sam Hunt used his actual real life family to shoot
that video and it was It's very sweet, so YouTube
it later if you've got some time right now, though,
we've got something really important to discuss. I knew I
would be lonely without Michael J. So I invited a
very special guest co host to come and hang out
with me, and she overslapt but she is here now

(11:03):
and it's.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
My daughter, my baby girl, Madeline Grace. Good morning, Good morning.
I did oversleep, but I brought you coffee, right, so
that makes up for it. So thank you.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
So if you want to text and say hi to Madeline,
she would love to hear from you.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
All right, let's see what's going on. In the world
of celebrity. Hot goss.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
I keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really do. Asbury on ninety three point one WOC,
congratulations are in order for David Beckham. He's said to
be awarded knighthood by King Charles. Yeah, he's going to
be a night and that would make Lady Victoria Beckham

(11:44):
spice posh uh.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
And then, oh, do you watch only Murders in the Building?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
No, well, I think you should because everybody loves it
and they have special guest co hosts or not, well
that would be you. But they have special guest co
stars all the time, including Ryan Reynolds, Bill Murray and
Kristen Wigg who are set to be on the next season.
So that's pretty exciting. Did you see the Taylor Swift
wedding pictures?

Speaker 1 (12:09):
She's getting married? No?

Speaker 3 (12:11):
So she okay, So Travis Kelcey, her boyfriend, his cousin
or something got married and they both went to the
wedding and they posted pictures. Everybody who was at the
wedding post was she was like, oh, like taylor'swe's here.
You know, they look so cute, but they look so
regular mm hmm, like they just look like a couple that.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Was at a wedding. It was very cute.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
So that happened, but it's all over my feed, maybe
because I'm a bit of a swiftie. And then bad news,
Jared Leto being accused by nine women of sexual misconduct,
including miners, so that we'll keep an eye on that.
But I wouldn't guess that from him, So that's interesting,
but thinking about everybody involved with that story as well.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
So that was your first Bethany's brief. What do you
think I loved it? Did you? Yes?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I did? Ninety three point one w POC Traffic, All right,
ninety three point one w POC, Good Morning, It's Michael
j Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Michael is off this week.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
I think he was gonna go to the beach, and
I also think that he was gonna get a tooth pulled.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Oh no, I was like, you should not do that
on vacation. That does not sound like fun.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
So, Madeline, my daughter is in here keeping me company
this morning, and I said, she walked in here with this.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I don't know, tupperware, tupperware.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
With this honestly, like either gross or delicious, no delicious
looking concoction. And so it started the debate about what
weird food combinations? What do you want to tell everybody?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
What's in there? Yes?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
So today I have a Greek yogurt bowl vanilla with
peanut butter globs of some salty peanut butter swirled in
and it's delicious.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Let me tell you, I don't know. I feel like
those two semi viscous.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Okay, yes, I understand that. I don't feel like they
are gonna swirl together that great? Trust me, trust me,
all right, I'll try it. I will take a bite, yes,
if you'll share. So we asked everybody, what's your weird
food combination. Someone said, Hi, we eat leftovers in the morning.
This morning was pasta vodka. Oh yeah, I love that.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I know that sounds great.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
And I because this challenges like the idea like why
do you have to eat only quote unquote breakfast foods
in the morning, Like a piece of pizza is great
in the morning.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah. I let you know what I love is a
burrito in the morning.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
That's just perfect, a non breakfast bread, right, I mean, sure,
you can put eggs in there if you want. Yeah,
but like no no love that. Let's go overs for breakfast.
Uh okay, Woody is checking in. He says, good morning girls,
I'm having an orange and don't guy, don it's coffee?

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Oh me too?

Speaker 3 (15:04):
What eight? We're running on Duncan this year, So go
ahead and text us seven seven ninety six to begin
your message with higher Hey, what are you eating?

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Weird in the morning. We'd love to hear from you.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
And coming up a little later, I'm gonna play one
of Madeline's favorite country songs, so uh, that'll be fun
in the meantime, a Little Old Red.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Singing Little Goods something and middle not earning, Little w
A p o c is Shaboozi. Do you love him?

(15:50):
I do. He's coming to Saturday in the country. I'll
be there. Are you gonna come? Kane Brown's coming to
do you know? Are you familiar? I don't care.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
What if you heard his song? So Madeline, by the way,
she's Michael's The Michael J. Morning Show ninety three point
one WPOC. Michael's on vacation, so I had Mattel and
my daughter come in and hang out with me. She's
sitting directly across from me in a Nirvana T shirt.
Maybe she wasn't sure about what was happening here. No,
you like country music a lot, and we're going to

(16:21):
play one of your favorite country songs. Yes, you're in
a few minutes to stick around if you want to
know what that is. She's nineteen, by the way, home
from college. I made her get up early on her
first week home. So you came in here with a
weird breakfast of yogurt and peanut butter. You had some
berries in there, granola nuts. Very healthy, by the way,

(16:42):
great job. I thought that sounded gross with the peanut
butter and the yogurt, like I would do the yogurt
with the berries and the nuts.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
But the peanut butter was a weird. But you need
you know.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
I took a bite and it was pretty good. Yes,
I guess I should have trusted you on that. Somebody
on tech said, hey, that sounds delish with three exclamation Yes,
you get it. Some honey and some granola would be
good too, that's true. Then someone said, hey, we were
talking about weird food things that you like to eat
in the morning. Somebody more earlier mentioned that they like

(17:16):
to eat leftovers like pasta, vodka, and then somebody said,
and I said, I love a burrito in the morning.
I don't care if it's a breakfast burrito or just
a good old fashioned burrito. And they said, if you
love a burrito in the morning, you should try the
Rise Up Burrito because I think that's a coffee shop. Oh,
I think. I think it's like an ocean city thing.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Let us know. I'll text about that.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
And then Diesel, who texts a lot, he's a friend
of the show, he said, Hey, my breakfast this morning
was a crab cake on white toast with lettuce and tomato.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Wow, that sounds pretty gourmet.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah, did you make that yourself?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Let us know? Yeah, why didn't you bring us on? Right?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah? So peanut butter is I guess good with a
lot of things.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
So what I found, line is that peanut butter is
best paired with sharp, acidic and bitter ingredients. Do you
want to hear what I found? Okay, okay, peanut butter
and pickles?

Speaker 1 (18:12):
No, you don't think so my brain hurt. You know,
like ants on a log.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
But it's like pickles so salty or a little yeah
maybe all right? When you said ants on a log?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Okay, okay, okay, okay, what about something spicy peanut butter
and siracha?

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yeah, yeah, I would do that. What would you put
that on?

Speaker 3 (18:33):
That would be like like it's pad thaie kind of thing.
I put that on noodle or vegetables that might be good,
like oh yeah, like stir fry.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
How about peanut butter and avocado? No, no, I know,
I don't think that's too far from me. I think
that's as the resident peanut butter lover. Don't think I'm
good on that.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Yeah, that's a no for me too.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
I'll let us know what do you like to mix
your peanut butter with seven seven ninths? To begin your
message with higher hey, or you can call us in
chit chat eight hundred three two one thirty six ninety
