you can. Ninety five southbound at Keith Avenue, an accident
moved to the shoulder there, ninety five southbound at one hundred,

(02:36):
another accident moved to the right shoulder there, and thirty
two eastbound at ninety five. That accident is on the

you'll allow.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Me to keep us in the loop of entertainment and
pop culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but

Miss America's best burger chain, Shake Shack, America's favorite chicken chain,
Raising Canes, a new coffee chain making the list, Dutch

banners from a lot of the city's major sites, including
the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark Square, saying get out Bezos.
I'm like, yikes. Okay. The Bear is coming back on
Wednesday for their season four premiere. Somebody texted earlier, I

(04:29):
can't watch the Bear anymore. It gives me too much anxiety.
The way that it shot really is kind of shaky
and does kind of give you a little bit of anxiety.
And lastly, I asked you to think about what decade
of clothing you think you'd like to wear the most, Madeline,
you said, nineteen sixties. The nineteen sixties. Yes, I love
the baby doll dresses. Okay, colors are so fun, Caleb,

(04:52):
what decade? What do you think?

Speaker 4 (04:54):

Speaker 1 (04:56):
So seven seventies disco? All right? In Oregon, Attorney, this
is funny, She wears eight eighteen hundreds clothes, typically eighteen
ninety three to eighteen ninety eight. She loves that period
of clothing. She can't wear it in court when she's
arguing a case, but she wears it all the other time.
She even has an Instagram following with time traveling style.

(05:20):
I love that.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
That's too nique.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
The eighteen hundreds. Yeah, I can't imagine with heat like

You've got to be in our hot seat for okay, okay, okay,
what's the hot seat? Oh? What's the hot seat? Well,
funny you should ask. We have three questions for you,
and you'll have three seconds to answer each question. Okay,
there are no wrong answers. However, if you don't answer

(06:22):
in time, I hang up on you. Okay. Oh, well
we're not going to have that. No, we're not going
to have that. Okay. I have my beautiful daughter and
her boyfriend in here keeping me company today. They're going
to ask you.

Speaker 3 (06:34):

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Okay, h it's Madeline and Caleb. Okay, they're going to
ask you the questions. Okay, okay, all right, Madeline. Questions,
wrong answer answer, You've just got to do it in
three seconds. That's it. Okay, all right, Madeline, go for it.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
What is the most embarrassing thing you've ever googled?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Hot seat?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Did you google the hot seat? I did? Love that's
really cute. That's really cute. Okay. Question number two.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
What one rule would I make if everyone in the
world had to follow it?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Be peaceful? Oh that's lovely. That's good. I kind of
feel like that should already be a rule. Yes, you'd think,
what are you gonna do? You know? Then you get
on the belt weigh and one thing leads to another.
You know, we just start getting raging. All right, you're
doing great. Question number three.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
What do you have an excessive amount of.

Speaker 1 (07:42):

had to guess how many pairs? Oh? It's just too many.

animator for Pixar that would be really fun, or right
up the road, a research scientist for Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Yes,
is that a job I could have? I think I
would really nail that. How about if you were a
product development executive for Ben and Jerry's in Vermont. Yeah,

the list, Forest Ranger is on the list. Do you

like stupid people. Then someone said, hey, my warning label
would be will talk about conspiracies. That would be a
welcome label to me. I would be like, let's go

(10:38):

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Mine would be don't talk to me before coffee.

Speaker 1 (10:48):

want you to win a thousand dollars on Speaking of winning,
I have Madeline, my daughter, and her boyfriend Caleb in
the studio. I have tasked them with competing to see
which story is gooder today. They're going to give you
their stories in just a second, but first I want
to wrap up what we were chatting about a few
minutes ago. I said, what would your warning label be

(12:31):
if you had a warning label on your person all
the time? What would it be? Someone said on text, Hey,
caution speaks before thinks. Oh yes, very little filter. I
tend to be like that too. Ooh, And then someone
else said, warning yells when hot. Oh uh oh, watch out,

(12:52):
it's gonna be hot today. So if you see someone yelling,
it's probably that person. All right, guys, Caleb, you ready, Yes?
I am Madeline you ready? Yes? You guys both present
a story and our listeners will text to see who wins.
The number that you want to text to is seven
seven nine six y two. But you have to start
your message with higher hey for us to get your

(13:12):
you know, get it here in the studio. All right, Madeline,
why don't you go first? Okay?

Speaker 5 (13:18):
My story is about a man from North Carolina who
saves his pet dog named Strike from a seven foot
long alligatory came into his backyard where he has a
pond and found the scene of the crime with a
garden rake. He defended off the alligator and was able

(13:39):
to scoop his dog out of the water and he
survived and he just had a broken leg.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
So, oh, dog's life. What kind of dog was it?
I think it's like a black labrador. Oh really, kind
of a bigger dog. I know. Oh man, that's terrifying.
I know our family lives in Florida, and that's like
a real thing that there are alligators just roaming around. Yeah,
you have to watch your dogs around them. I don't

(14:06):
know if I have what it takes to do that.
So that is that is a hero admirable. All right,
there's story number one, Caleb, what is your story?

Speaker 4 (14:15):
My story is about a man named Dennis Snyder in Iowa,
and in nineteen sixty three he left to the Vietnam
War to he basically sacrificed his chance to graduate with
his class, and a few weeks ago, he and a
fellow veteran, Richard Hill, received honorary diplomas through Operation Recognition

(14:39):
program honoring veterans who left school from military service. Both
men participated in Muscan Teen's high school's graduation ceremony and
fulfilled it with a long held dream for Snyder.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
That is so so they went to Vietnam. They missed
their high school graduation. First of all, can you imagine
that a lot of kids just graduated. That's that's wild
to think about. Then they just got their honorary diplomas
last week. I love it all right? Seven seven nine
six two. Begin your message with higher, Hey, who was better,

(15:14):
Madeline or Caleb? You might pick a gooder story, and
you might start their first fight.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Oh Hamn sitting here staring at the club on the world.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Ninety three point one WPOC Old Dominion break up with him.
So I'm wrapping things up here. Madeline and Caleb, thanks
for coming in today. You guys just did your gooder
stories to see who was better. Madelin had a story
about a man who saved his dog from crocodile's jaws,
and Caleb had a story about two veterans who got

(15:49):
their high school diploma after being shipped off to Vietnam
just days before they got to graduate. Okay, and then
they got their diplomas. So here's what the Texters are saying. Hey,
number one, that would be Madeline. Thank you. Someone said
both stories were great, but k Loves brought tears to
my eyes, so he has my vote. Then someone said
dog lover here, I gotta go with Madeline. Then someone said, hey,

(16:12):
we love Madeline, but I think Caleb's story is gooder.
Sorry to your daughter, but the boyfriend wins. No, oh no,
And then someone else said, please say better in place
of gooder, as that is the proper way to speak.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
All right, so we've got an accident with the left
lane blocked on ninety five South. Found it
