We heard from a lot of people who have been
called ugly kids. Apparently one of the things trending is
that there are a lot of people who have gone
through the same thing as the rest of us.

Yeah, we have some a lot of recovering ugly children

All right, We're thinking of you today around Baltimore.

I'm thinking about people in fed Hill if you got
your car broken into, like thirty five reports of property windows,
A couple of restaurants got broken into. The police are
looking into it and I don't know, hopefully they can
figure out narrow down who did that. But following statement

came out. Although violent crime and property crime have decreased
over the last two years, both in the neighborhood and citywide,
there are still very real challenges for Federal Hill, as
illustrated by the vandalism Saturday night. This According to the
councilmen from District eleven, and they're looking into a partner

with Baltimore Police Department on its implementation of a strategy
coming very soon. They need to have police officers walking
the beat, which they used to back in the day.

You know, everybody's so in their car. I mean I
remember not that.

Many years ago, there were a lot of police just
on the roads outrunning tickets. Now that we only have cameras, yeah,
I don't see as many police officers even in their
cars anymore. But you know, back in the day, you'd
have a team, a couple of officers just watching what's
going on, and you know, just that little bit of
authority like letting people know, hey, no messing around. You

don't go bustling out car windows, right, you know what,
Maybe that's what fed Hill needs.

stopping to go from the Steel Bridge on the outer
Loop between seven ninety five and Liberty Road. We're slow
right now, and then we've got a fallen tree on
Scott's Level Road at Old Court Road.

I am on summer break. I just got back from Norway.

I visited a friend of mine there.

I've been going to the beach with my Boyfriend's been fabulous.

Oh wow, don't you think that she'd be a really
one teacher to have. I never had cool teachers like
Emily Brown when I was in school.

And what was the best thing about Norway?

this waterfall. But the coolest thing that I thought was
super amazing was that we went hiking in this park
and there were all of these World War two bunkers
still in the park from nineteen forty to nineteen forty five.
The Germans put him there to guard their artillery and everything.

They're still there. I just couldn't believe it.

Structures, so there could be like unexploded ordnance that could
blow up.

We're looking for like maybe there were some points or

It's still like in the woods out there. Anybody to go.

a rash of all kinds of craziness, destruction of property
in South Baltimore all over fed Hill. Baltimore police are
investigating property damage reports of break ins in several vehicles
and businesses. On Sunday, thirty five reports of destruction of

property in and around fed Hill, thirteen reports of vehicle
break ins on East Montgomery. One person said, our car,
the front passenger window was completely shattered. Then the other
car they attempted to shatter the front driver's side window.
Amy Klein said, you know, this is just ignorant. It's

just it's there's nothing more frustrating when you go out
to get in your car and go to work or
whatever you got going on, and some Yahoo's been messing
around with it.

So I'm hoping the police can can figure out what

It just it's crazy. So they're on there, like sixth

I don't know if I was that cute. Honestly, no,
I was. My mom told me I was an ugly kid. Really, yeah,
she told you then, or she told like no, it's
just been like.

She's like, oh, you were an ugly kid. Oh God,
I came out with all kinds. I mean, I think
it was covered with hair, like all over my ears.
I look like a little you know something. I don't
know anyway, So my question is is it wrong to
tell your kid that they.

Were an ugly child?

You know?

Sometimes I tell Madeline that when she came out, she
looked like an alien. See, so you've done it well,
you know why because you're squished out? Yeah, you know
what I mean. I think the mom's like, all right,
for nine months, I'm squish you.

Yeah, and a lot of us have kind of misshapen heads.
Things pop back after while. You know, maybe your nose
is out of joint.

I don't know.

Yeah, but I just wonder how many people have told
their child that you were an ugly child? An ugly baby?

I don't I don't know. If I no, I bet
you it's more I'm willing to bet it's more common.

I mean, honestly, like, I like you, like I said,
I said mail in a locally an ilion. I see,
because every kid has an awkward phase, right, there's like,
oh yeah, there's always like an awkward phase.

Usually it's like fourth and fifth grade.

Who is the best looking guy? Like boom, when I
say good looking guy? Name the top couple of beautiful
men in your opinion.

like what's Chris Hemsworth?

Do you think he was an ugly baby?

He probably yeah, probably really or but or at some
point there was an ugly phase, like like think back
of your school.

Pictures, like, oh my gosh, there was an ugly thing back.
I'm I can look at pictures now, I mean pictures,
and I don't I hate that.

I know there was a time when I, I don't know,
decided I needed short hair, had a perm.

Oh my gosh, it was bad. I had big old
glasses school pictures. Oh, like there was a time when
I was an ugly kid, you know.

So the question again is either were you told you
were an ugly child or as a mom, did you
tell your kids that you got ugly babies when they
were born? If we want to hear about it seven
