of your goot process going into ittoo? Because I definitely got the you
can't put me in a box listeningto this album, Like, I think
you were a lot more in touchwith your soulful side, especially you know
with songs like I Can't Go BackBaby in one of your girls. Was
that something that you kind of wantto play with different sounds on this one
born into it definitely. Yeah.I think I just feel a lot more

kind of like playful as a songwriter. And I think that comes from just
being a little bit more kind ofsecured myself, and you know, writing
with people that I've written with forlike years that we feel so comfortable with
each other that we can try differentthings and explore different sounds, and we
also really took our time to makeit, and so I think that also

allows for growth and change even duringthe album making process. Right, speaking
of songwriting, one of my favoritesongs on the album that we play on
my show all the time one ofyour girls. The storytelling on this one
is just so phenomenal. What wasthe inspiration for you? And what does

This song, I mean, that'sone of my favorite songs on the
whole album. I if not myfavorite, I think because some of my
favorite songwriting is when I don't evenknow how I feel at a situation and
I put pen to paper to kindof make sense of it a little bit,
and it really it's like a formof therapy, you know what I
mean. It helps me understand whatthe way that I'm feeling about a situation

or what's going on in my life. And one of your girls was definitely
that for me. And yeah,I'm just like over the moon with how
how it's being received and I can'twait to play that one live. It's
gonna be fun. Yes, Well, so what does this song mean to
you? Like? What is thissong about? So ultimately it's really about

me trying to figure out how Ifeel about a particular situation that I kept
finding myself in and yeah, Iguess like it really was, it was
me, And it's about adoration forsomeone who maybe doesn't adore you back in
the way that that you that youwant, or doesn't always adore you back

in the way that you want.Yeah. I think that's a beautiful part
of music too, because I wasreading the comments and just like you're speaking
about a specific situation that happened toyou, Like you said, it's like

because I thought it was really specific, but it's been you know, I
can tell from like you said,reading comments and stuff like that that it's
been applied to so many different people'ssituations. And it's my favorite thing about

full magnificent drag. Everything looks sogood and a lot of people were excited
to see Ross Lynch. How didthat come about getting him in the music
video? I think really it wasjust about like thinking about who you know
because the song is about like thisguy that sort of everyone loves and everyone
wants a piece of nobody more thanyou know, and I think so I

had to think about it. Iwas like, who's someone that like everyone
is obsessed with and who you know? I feel like Ross's like the Internet's
boyfriend, and he's he was justperfect for it. And on top of
it, he is absolutely lovely andwas so down for everything and anything and
just so confident in himself, soself assured, and yeah, he was

an absolute legend. No, that'sawesome, man. Speaking of music video,
as you got your first Grammy nominationor mush Best Music Video and a
Best Pop dance recording. When youwere like working on that song, did
you even imagine it being that big? Like this is what I'm going to
get a Grabby nomination for No Way? I mean definitely. I remember the

first time I played it for peopleand seeing their response to it, I
was like, oh, Okay,whoa. I knew that I loved it,
but could never have predicted that itwas going to go the way that
it's gone. I love it.Yes, I'm so much just happening for
you this year also gqb End ofthe Year. How did you feel with
when you first received that? Imean, that was it was just crazy.

I think, like it's such asuch a big title, and so
it was, Yeah, it wascrazy and and something I'm really really proud
of, and yeah, it wasa really fun and I also Ross came
all the way to Australia to giveme the award, so that was super
nice of him. Oh my god, it's amazing. And then it all.

I feel like if I saw that, I would feel like I made
it. What was your first reactionto seeing that. My first reaction to
that was like it was just surreal, Like it honestly felt like I was
I was dreaming because it was soweird, do you know what I mean?

really weird in the best way.And so yeah, it was. It
was a crazy moment. Yeah,I would definitely be feeling like no one

And we've announced Europe and UK datesand the rest is coming at some
