Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the theme park capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.
This is the theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Is this a radio? Why does everything gotta be so messy.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
On this station? Anyway?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hello there, and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman,
here there is Jimmy D. Good evening, gentlemen, and Scott Harris. Hello,
Creatures of the night. Actually we should say good morning.
I guess right, Well, well this does air on the radio.
It's seven o'clock on Saturday morning. If you ever catch
the podcast and wonder when it airs in the radio,
real radio one of four point one seven am on Saturdays,

(00:40):
when you're on your way to the theme park, if
you're a good theme park goer and you get there
at rope drop right.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I don't know the last time I saw seven am
on a Saturday.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Jill text me at seven am on Saturday. Sometimes I'm like,
what are you doing away? Why are you awake? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
That has woken me up.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
In my morning. Are you a morning person?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Well?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Look, first of all, I have really bad ADHD, so
I gotta send you a text when I think of
something otherwise valid, it'll be gone.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, that's my problem with the replying to text. Sometimes
if I don't reply right, balid these are valid?

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Yeah, yeah, I respond telepathically ninety four percent of the time. Yes,
So it's not until later on when I'm bored, I'm
scrolling through my messages, I'm like, oh my god, I
forgot I got a Dickerman's like, help God, he's on fire.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I'm drowning. Actually right now.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
He's hanging off a cliff, holding on for dear life.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yes, so we are. We are entering into the warmest
weekend of the year. I don't know if you guys
took note. We're up to like almost ninety degrees this weekend,
So welcome to Florida and the theme park season.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I mean, to be fair, it was like ninety degrees
like two months ago. It was.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
It's hard to think of that right now because we
are outside right now and I am freezing.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
It's beautiful. But yeah, I think this weekend it's gonna
be warm. So and that's probably gonna be everything going forward.
It's gonna be hot, and uh, that's that's a big
part of the theme park experience. I guess here in Florida.
It's just you're suffering through it.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I mean, it's spring break.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
It it is still spring break, that is true, But
I feel like spring break ends and it's just about summer.
Like you might get like a little window in there,
but that's about it. Spring break almost runs all way
up to summer.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Now. Yeah, we've talked about that.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, so you have a lot to get to.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
So you guys want to feel old real quick.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I already I feel old every single moment.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I don't know what that word means.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Blogging Molly told me today Brutus thinks she's ever said
to me her daughter has just signed up for her
junior year of college. Junior.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah, I know she's her daughter. Still a baby if
you ask me.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Still under the table at Bukata Peppo.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I don't know you were there. I don't know what
you just said. She was running around onto the table
just being a goofy kid.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Oh okay, is that what you were doing as well? No?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Oh, my family was there. I was my best behavior.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Did you how many meatballs did you take home? Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I took I think I just ate them. Didn't even
take them home.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Those are delicious.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
You're like Grogu with the eggs.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, does meatballs A booka a pepper were amazing?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Rip?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, I mean I guess there's still one in celebration.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Oh is there? Okay, I just know the one that's
ironic to have a cross the street from the Indian Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah, there is one in Celebration still. I believe. I'm
very sad that that one closed because that was like
one of the first restaurants I went to when I
came to Florida. Yeah, and then I had my wedding
rehearsal air It's a good place.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
So all right, so you've got a lot of news.
There's a lot of things we need to get into.
What would you say is our our top item?

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, Disney has announced some Dickerman related stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh boy, I mean we've already had the release of
that line for the Guardians of the Galaxy where you
no longer have to have reservations, which I am very
grateful for.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Well, hold on, he's probably talking about shows.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Nope, nope, nope, nope. By the way, how many times
have you done Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic rewind since
they have dropped the virtual care.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Well, I have not had the ability to purchase a
ticket as of yet one because I've been busy, busy
at work.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Well, how about this. They have released some summer deals.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Okay, all right, now you're talking my language.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Fifty percent off kids tickets.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Kid's not a kid anymore.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
You can purchase a three day or longer kids ages
three to nine standard ticket for fifty percent off.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
That's great, that's a good deal.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
This deal begins May twenty seventh through September twentieth.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Can I pass for a three to nine year old?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Possibly?

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Maybe what's the Robbi Williams, I mean, Jack, m hmm.
How about the three day three park ticket? Okay, eighty
nine dollars per day, two hundred and sixty seven dollars
in total.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
That begins April sixth through September twenty second.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
The mathematician and me always would look at those. That's
a great deal if you're coming to visit. But as
a resident, I just got a spring for the annual
pass and spring for it. Maybe this year it might happen.
This year. We'll see what financials look like in a.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Month free dining plan deal returns. Okay, now this is
a good one. You stay in a hotel and you
get a free dining plan. Yep, that's great. Uh, with
the purchase of a non discounted four night, four day
or longer package that includes a room at a at
select Disney resort hotels and a ticket with park Opper option.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
That is that is the hitch because you got to
buy the hotel. You gotta buy. You gotta buy the
hotel full price, you know, whatever the rack price is.
Then you gotta buy the tickets and then you get
the dining I mean you gotta you gotta do some
wheeling and deal in there to make that work.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Yeah. But the free food I think that, I mean
bounce out.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
So does it say in the details, like do you
get that food for all day?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You get like a certain amount of meals, so you
get like we were in line one time in Norway
and this guy's like we were getting like school bread
or something. The guy's like, hey, you want to get it.
I got extra dining plans. We're leaving today. I'm never
gonna get to use of these credits. I'm like, okay, thanks.
But so you get credits and then you you know,
use them or you don't use them, and then if
you don't use them, you lose them.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Can I just say one of the things that I
miss about them doing away with paper fast passes is
being able to be like, hey, we're leaving.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Here, you go, yeah have this, let me let me
give you this.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
That was always fun, either giving or receiving.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah, they still have those a seaworlds. Every once in
a while somebody will be like, hey you want this.
I'm like sure, okay, that's great, absolutely, thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
There's also the Disney Resort Room Deals thirty percent on
select Disney Resort hotel rooms when you stay longer for
visits during beginning April first through our August first through
October eleventh.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Okay, that's now you're speaking my language, because I do
like that time around September to stay there, even though
I'm using up on my vacation already so I won't
be able to.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
But this is for Florida residence and annual pass holders.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
You go, I like that one. That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Then there's the Cool Kid Summer, which is beginning the
end of May through September first.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Only Scott can buy those tickets. We're not allowed. Oh cool,
good summer. We're not We're not allowed.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
That was never I was never available for that.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, no, no, no, this isn't it. This is just
a thing, an activation that is happening. Okay, well, still,
they'll have some characters around entertainment games, dancing, all sorts
of fun stuff, kid zones at Storybook Circus, Intomorrowland with Stitch,
and then Goofy's taking over a communicore hall.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I would like to see that. I would like to
see Goofy running that place because he might just get
wild with some stuff.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Have you guys seen the trailers for the new live
action Stitch. Yeah, it looks fantastic.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I have not.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
I'm interested though, Yeah, like I have not been interested
in any of these live action remakes until I saw
the trailer for Stitch and I was just like.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
They won't do it up.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Well they no, that's Pixar.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Oh yeah, they don't do Pixar. All right, there you go,
at least not yet. It's you know, you could probably
sit your watch now to Pixar having to do a
live action.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Well the Toy Story well they're doing Toy Story five,
so that's their equivalent to almost.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
So you need to make up a billion dollars in
the budget, or at least another toy story.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I mean, the thing is, I want to see that
one as well. If you watch the movie Marcela Shell
with Shoes On, it's the same director, so it'll give
you kind of the vibes of.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Did you see this at the Enzeon? No, it sounds
like an Enzeon movie.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
No, it's an eight twenty four movie. Okay, No, it's
a really good movie.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
It was Licorice Pizza, which, by the way, is a
vinyl record. I didn't even know what that meant. Yeah,
Like I thought it was like a silly thing where
they were on a pizza.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
But it is a vinyl record. Yes, oh god, Okay,
so you never saw the movie, so you don't know
what it's about. No, No, Fritz, try to get me
to watch them, like no, that those people are ugly
and I don't want to watch them for two hours.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I distinctly remember when we saw Dune. You were sitting
next to me. That trailer came on and you turned
to me, he goes, what is this movie?

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:53):
I was a ghast in the movie.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah, it's bad.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
The people are hideous in that movie. I had no
interest in seeing it. Why don't you so judge you
all of us?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
What do you have against mber Hoffman's kid.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Only when it comes to movies, Like, if I'm going
to watch a movie, I want the people to be
good looking.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
What do you have against Bradley Cooper?

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Nothing?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Really? I guess, well, he's in the movie.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
I should have shown him in the trailer. He did
and I didn't notice him.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
He plays John Peters. He's correcting the pronunciation of Barbara streisand.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Other than the the licorice pizza name enough was in
the loan to just keep me away from it, like
it was a terrible name to me. But now I
know that's a record I had.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
But you like pizza as well?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I do like pizza, but not liquors on my pizza.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
It's discussing that sounds like a you problem. Some other
Disney news, we have the opening dates for the Disney
Villains unfairly ever after Okay, this is the new show,
and where is it playing in the park?

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Is it in the old Beauty in the B spot?

Speaker 2 (09:46):
No, it is where the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy that's right.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
So that will be opening mayweven, m which is going
to be a about a bunch of Disney villains trying
to figure out who's the most villainy.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Oh, okay, all right, see I thought that was gonna
be like it's it's called Unfairly ever after right. I
thought they were going to say they have been treated unfairly.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Well, well to figure out who has been the most misunderstood.
The Magic Mirror summons you to help him decide who's
been the most unfairly treated. The likes of Cruella, Captain Hook,
and Maleficent take the spotlight.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
I think I'm gonna go with Captain Hook. Like, Captain
Hook might be the one guys just out there trying
to be a pirate. Okay, why is Peter Pan gonna
be messing with him?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
What's his hand?

Speaker 4 (10:37):
He chopped off his hand and fed it to a crocodile?

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah, TikTok crock.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
I mean, I think that's a pretty rude thing to do.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Captain Hook's probably very misunderstood.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
And then also May twenty seventh, the Little Mermaid, a
Musical Adventure opens up.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Is this another live show?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Okay, all right, this.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Is kind of the new updated version of the one
that that is that is at Hollywood Studios.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
And is it gonna be in this same spot? Yes, okay, yeah,
that thing's been that thing's been shut down for a while.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Right since twenty twenty. Okay, that's wow, that's five years.
That's a half a decade. Yes, yes it is. So
those things are going to be opening up same night,
same night, right, same day? Yeah, same day. Wow, So
you gotta choose. You're gonna have to make a choice. Well,
I mean, you could just do both. It's not like
they're one showing only per day.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
I guess you could. It's another op.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
It just goes to show that me and you don't
do shows at theme park.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Now, I figured it's on once and then No, that's
fantasmic and sometimes that also has two shows.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Okay, all right, Yeah, I'm not a show guy. I mean,
I've seen the old Little Mermaid show though I never
did it was little when she was little. Week god
do it.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
But this is gonna be kicking off right around when
Epic Universe opens up.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Oh so this is their combat to Epic Universe, got it?

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Hey, this is how it works.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I mean, yeah, I mean competition brings, brings something.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Rising tide lifts all boats. There you go.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
That's that's a much better way of saying whatever I
tried to say.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
I actually saw a that was in the newspaper when
Universal Studios first came to town and it was Disney
welcoming them down.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, I've seen that. Yeah, I do remember that. I
saw that on you know, years later on the internet.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
I mean when Universal opened up, Bob Eiger came, or
not Michael Isiser came.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Michael Eisner.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah, I wonder when the first time we would see
a Bob Eiger picture at Epic Universe.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
But when Eisner came, he just like tipped over trash
and he's like, yeah, that's what.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
No, there's a picture of him on rides. Also, speaking
of Disney, Buzz light Year Space Ranger Spin Attraction will
be closing in August.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
This is the one at Magic Kingdom, because I do
get confused between this one and the Toy Story one
in Hollywood Studios is the Buzz light Year show. It
are they going to shut down those those special ones
you can shoot and get like a million points on
the game.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Well, they are going to put in like updated ride vehicles,
updated guns.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Good, they're not attached, they're not attached attached, somebody's gonna
steal one.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
Well there's cast members, Okay, Yeah, I think probably gonna
have some kind of thing inside the gun that will
like you know, like if you ever tried to steal
a DVD back in the day and you go to
Best Buying, help help help me, help me meek stolen.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Also, the thing is like the size of like a
one leter bottle of soda.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
It's not like you know, that's true because like I
don't think anybody steal tried to steal a gun from
the Minion's ride.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Yeah, well true. I like improvements on that one because
those guns are pretty outdated. They they sometimes work, they
sometimes didn't. Sometimes your chair would just spin randomly, like
not spin fast, it would just like float like it's
just weaving to one side like a bad shopping cart.
So probably about time.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
And the thing is there's still a cord on them.
They're just not mounted to the ride vehicle. This is
more like the Men in Black.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Okay, weaponry. I like Men in Black, and that air
conditioning is the best over there. They should put it.
They should put in the Men in Black air conditioning
while they're at it.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
I mean, every attraction should have the min at Black
air air conditioning.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
I want to talk to an engineer at Universal about
that air conditioning system. I need to know how many
tons that is? What's going on? I want to put
in my house. Is that a carrier up there?

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Exactly? So that's gonna be going. I still be closing
in August and we'll be reopening sometime next year.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Okay, So get in your buzz light you're riding, because
it's going to be gone. Yeah, we're gonna get a while.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Who knows, but you know, we're getting new character and
new ride vehicles, all sorts of stuff.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Last chance to become a galactic ranger.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I was a galactic granger one time because we got
stuck and I was stuck in like a good spot
where I kept getting like one hundred thousand or whatever.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
That's the thing. That's a ride that Men in Black
toy story. Those are right. You don't mind getting.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Stuck on yeah, and you don't mind doing it again
and again because you always have an opportunity to try
and improve your score.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
I bought the toy story Midway Mania game or is
gifted the game for the Wii. Okay, so I could
learn some stuff for when I went back.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Did it help you? It did? Okay, yeah, exactly, training game.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
There's a lot of stuff. There's like there's there's websites
in for how to how to maximize your points on
those red My main objective on Midway Many was try
and get that pie in the face of Andy.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Yeah whatever that Woody, Yeah, Woody. I would try and
get It's so hard because he duck it. But every
once in a while you click it right in the face.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
I thought you're gonna say your main goal was to
always have a higher score than your daughter.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
No, I lost many times.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
What you're the adult. I know you play video games.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
I still lost some How do you let that happen?
I get my arm? We get tired.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
You're doing the your porosis?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Yeah I got, I got bad.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Elbows bouncing over to Universal Studios. Epic Universe has released
some some news as well about tickets and whatnots.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Okay, all right, I'm ready. This is this is the
main event for the summer of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
The Express passes on sale. How much are those per person.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Per person, that's not bad.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
But it varies about when you go opening days. Two
hundred and sixty dollars per person. I mean it does
not include every ride. It does not include the Dragon
Racers Rally, Donkey Kong's Mine Cart Madness, and Harry Potter
in the Battle at the Ministry.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Wow, are you paying one hundred and twenty nine bucks
and you still don't get.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
All those help You're still getting Monsters and Change, You're
getting two of the three Mario rides. You're still getting Stardust,
the Dueling Coaster.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Yeah, yeah, I just you know, for me, I like,
I look at it an old man time, and I say,
one hundred and twenty nine bucks we used to pay
to get into a theme park, not for a pass
to get on some rides.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
That's about what I paid for my ticket.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Though I'll wait in line like like an old man
and enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Also, VIP tours also on sale. O tell me about
that three hundred and eighty nine dollars per person, and
you gotta have like at least ten people or something.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
On a tour.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
I would guess, uh, it does not specify.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I remember that like we would used to do the
Halloween hornit stur We get taken on that as part
of the radio station, which was great. It was amazing.
We were completely spoiled and had no idea how spoiled
we were. But yeah, that same deal, I mean that
was you'd have to have a certain amount of people
and it was expensive. If you had the money for
its certainly worth it because you get to walk right
on everything.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
But yeah, then there's the dark More Monster makeup experience.
Tell me about this, where you they can transform you
into your favorite monster like Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Bride
of Frankenstein, the Wolfman, creature from the Black lookoon.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Out, Jimmy, look at Jimmy, Yeah, and more. How does
that go? Like in July the summer, Like you get
the makeup on it, she's gotta be melting. You're going
down start as flyers. You're gonna look like melted ice cream.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
The experiment ticket, which includes just fape face paint, starts
at forty five dollars per person.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Okay, it concludes vape.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Face pants for a more comprehensive makeup.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Experience in foam. Now we're talking foam.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
That includes matching excessores. Uh, The Transformation ticket is available
starting at one hundred and sixty nine dollars for adults
one oh nine for kids.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
This is basically bipity boppy boutique for monsters. Yeah, no,
that's what it is. Is bippity boppity boutique for monsters.
They're gonna senn adults tell them like crazy, yeah, and
adults they're gonna sell these things like crazy.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, you're gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yeah, you know, I'm cheap.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
We'll get you. No, I will buy you the creature
from the Black Lagoon.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
No, no, no, he needs Frankenstein.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
He's always wearing a Frankenstein T shirt.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
You are you know that? You know the one we're
talking about, Frankenstein. Yeah, you have a Frankenstein shirt. It's like, uh,
what's the guy who did the Campbell soup can Andy Warhol?

Speaker 4 (18:40):
Yeah you got a Warhol Frankenstein shirt.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
I think I have it anymore?

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Really, what the thing I have?

Speaker 2 (18:45):
I've seen you recently wearing that.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
I don't think I have it anymore. I mean, I
you know, you guys know it's me. I could be forgetting.
I mean I've got my shirt, my shirt from They Live.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
But I don't know, not the same at all.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
No, it's the only horror short I can think of
right now.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Well, okay, you could be Frankenstein's monster.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
I don't know what happened to Frankenstein shirt to look
for that.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Jimmy can be the creature from the Black Lagoon.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
And what are you going to be?

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Willman?

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Okay, so he doesn't have to be there, No.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
No, no, no.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
I had to protect my face from the sun exactly
the elements I thought. I've thought this through all right.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
I don't know. You could be easily Dracula. I wouldn't
have to put much founder.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yes, I can also do that one yea. In Jimmy news, Uh,
at the Universal fan Fest nights, there will be food
from Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons and Dragons,
the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and Super Nintendo.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Wow, that's a lot.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
That is a lot.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
There is romulin ale vulcan fritters.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
That was the first thing Jimmy asked for, was a
romulin ale from Star Trek. He said, if there was
no romulin al, he was not even ever gonna go,
oh it's there.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Well, I what I said was, they're not even doing
it right.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
There's cling on blood wine that sounds good, and Dorian
Ale romulan Ale Chateau Picard.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
That Back of the Future food look pretty good.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah, there's the flex Capacitor, Patty Melt, the Time time
Machine Pastrami melt. Oh yeah, Doc Brown's Chicken pot pie. Yeah,
Time Travelers malt shake.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
That's the one I want to get there.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Yeah, I'll do back to the Future food.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
All right, we just have we just have to go
to Universal Cities, Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Ah, come on, why do you tease us?

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Stuff?

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Won't you start there and tell me about cool like
popcorn buckets that they're not going to have in Orlando.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Tickets are on sale now for the inaugural event, which
will take place April twenty fifth through the twenty seventh,
May second through the fourth, ninth through the eleventh, fifteenth
through the eighteenth.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Okay, so it's like weekends things, and let's just do
a weekend trip to California. Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, I'm down. I've only been to that park once.
I would love to go back too. They have Nintendo there.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
I would love to go to all the parks in California.
I've only been to Disneyland twice. Yeah, I've never been
to anything over there, so I'm all for it. Are
you allowed there? I've been to California before, so they
didn't kick me out the two times I went prior,
so I think I'll be okay at the parks.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
Okay, Scott was just assuming you had a warn out.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
That's yeah, yeah, you haven't been back. That's why I
was wondering.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
It has been a few years. It has been a
few years. But I did spend some time in Los
Angeles and Beverly Hills, and neither time did I run
into the law.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Oh that's when you met Ali Larder, Right.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
I did meet Ali Larder on that trip. I think, oh, by.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
The way, we should we should have talked about this
last week. But the farewell has happened. For It's tough
to be a bug.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
It's gone.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, last showing happen, sadly.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
What do you think they're gonna do with those seats?

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Reuse them for these Utopia show.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
They're gonna have like little bugs in this Utopia show too.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
They'll be used. They will be I believe it's been
confirmed that they'll be reusing a lot of the similar elements.
Okay that the theater.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Had, well, the theater also had like the feeling of
being inside of a tree. So the theater's still inside
a tree. So you don't really want to change that.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
So you're basically saying, it's like the Frozen ride where
they took out the Viking or the the whatever, the Norway,
the mailstream, and it's basically the same ride, just with
a few animatronic throat in there.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
My only thing is is I don't want them to
add Judy Hops and Nick to the Tree of Life,
if you know what I mean. Yeah, because that the
Tree of Life is real animals on the outside of
that tree.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
They already have a fox, they already have a rabbit, exactly.
There's no need to put other characters.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Can you put the the rabbit in a little police uniform?

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Then?

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Nos? Was Bunny detective?

Speaker 2 (22:43):
No?

Speaker 4 (22:44):
No, she was just a police officer. She wasn't a
detective officer.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Judy Hops, you should know this.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
You dressed up as Judy Hops for Halloween.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
No, but I did buy my daughter a Judy Hops
hoodie when she was little. I had a little police
badge in it. It was the cutest darn thing.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Well, next year there will be a Zutopia show for
you to go do.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
What is there a Zutopia too?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yes, comes out later the syear okay, yep, makes sense,
makes sense.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
It makes perfect sense to pop the ride out with
the new movie.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
It's just always so funny how it takes so long
after a movie for a ride. That's the show.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Yeah, if they can do like, if they can sync
them up like Universal will do it like for Halloween Hornets,
they would, they would line it up, you know, an
experience with the movie coming out.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
But it's a lot easier to do with a the house.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
Did they deal with King Kong? Didn't King Kong the
ride open up? Similar to when Skull Island first opened
up the movie. No, no, Well there was a King
Kong time, but it was two different things.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
It just so happened. There's a King Kong, there's a
ride there. It was a coincidence.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
I thought they were the same, they were in sync.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
And the thing is is you got to really make
sure that a ride like a movie is timeless before
you can turn it into a ride.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
It's true and that it's a hit. Yeah, it's another.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Because you know, the worst possible thing is you put
a you know, you build a ride around a movie
that you assume is going to be a hit and
it's not. Yeah, Like, could you imagine if Disney had
rolled out of John Carter Ride, it actually might have
helped a movie.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Because this has got good. It was a good movie.
Just which is a title always terrible?

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Nobody knows what that is? John Carter?

Speaker 3 (24:19):
That's true?

Speaker 4 (24:20):
All right?
