Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up fifth in the morning time KI, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Random reasons people have been fired. According to someone who
works in HR, fired is the key word that you're
gonna need for the Nelly tickets coming up here in
a couple of minutes. The microwave often causes chaos in
the office. Why I was reading through this article and
someone was fired on their first day because they essentially

(00:25):
burnt down the kitchen with the microwave.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I'm sure you can relate to that.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I came across this video on TikTok. Some of these
are jarring. Some of these I bet you can relate to.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
First, guy was napping in his car from ten am
till almost one every single day. He had been doing
this for like four months straight. He was a new hire,
and I don't know why he thought it was okay
to do it, but I ended up firing him by
knocking on his door because we were trying to find
him and he was a wall and he opened the
door and he was so shocked, like it was the
most shocking thing that's ever happened to him, and he
could not believe that he was getting fired for sleeping

(00:58):
three hours every single day. Had a guy who worked
in food services who was like smearing his poop on
the walls.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Of the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
And then you weren't sure if he was washing his
hands or not, but he was working in food services.
So Nick's out quick what he got fired because he
wouldn't stop. Fired a lady for threatening her coworker that
she was gonna shoot her. And she actually brought in
a baby gun when she did this and did shoot it,
just not at the coworker. And then she got mad
at HR and was like, HR is evil because we
can't take a joke even though she brought an actual
bb gun and threatened to shoot one of her coworkers.

(01:29):
And yet somehow I'm the bad guy for letting her go.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I cannot the poop one. It blows my mind that
the concern was, well, did he wash his hands? All right,
Let's get to this quick, quick quick, because we don't
have a lot of time. Reasons that you've either had
to fire someone or you've been fired. That's the key
word you're gonna need for the Nelly tickets here in
a few minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You were waking up with Tiff in the morning on
Kiss one O seven one we're talking random reasons you've
been fired, and by the way, fired is the key word.
You're gonna need to win the Nelly tickets coming up
here in just a few minutes.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
In my teens, I worked for a pretty big fast
food chain. By seventeen, I was running my own shifts.
Eighteen one of my closing shifts, one hundred dollars went
missing from the safe. The week after, I asked when
my raise was because I worked seventy two hours, I
was going on vacation, and they told me I wasn't
going to get it, that they thought I stole the money.

(02:27):
I actually left walked out because I did not steal
that money. It was the manager's brother, because.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Uh huh, it's always the manager's drug dealing brother that
stole the money.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Thank you for the talk back with tip microphones in
the top right hand corner of the iHeart app if
you also want to leave me voice notes and such.
The reason why we're talking about this is because I
found this BuzzFeed article where they had posted a TikTok
of an HR manager talking about the random reasons why
she's had to fire people. One of them had to
do with not washing your hands after going to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
There's that sign is in the bathroom for a reason.
If you work in the food service industry, all right,
caller ten.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
If you have the keyword for the tickets to see
Nelly this summer, go ahead and start dialing five one
three seven four nine one O seven one. Good luck,
Nelly's coming. If you've got the keyword five one three
seven four nine one O seven one, you'll be there
