Tony and Tabitha met over cold cuts, things got spicy till they didn't. So we find out what happened with the 2nd Date Update

update on kJ one three. You gotta help Tony from
Edmund get another date with Tabitha second date updates which

Yeah, I painfully listen to these stories just about every morning.
It's how can these people be so clueless about dating?

We are clueless about Well, see tell us about you know,
your whole situation with your first date with Tabitha.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Great. So it was one of these things where I
was just like grabbing lunch at subway and Tapitha was
in line with me and we're just talking a little
bit and she actually asked me for my Instagram.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Nice, And she messaged me asking if I wanted to
grab brunch. I'm not really a brunch kind of person,
but it's my first time. But Tapitha wasn't ugly or
anything like that, so I.

Was like, you know what, let's do that.

Okay, So how was your first brunch experience?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Well, okay, so first of all, I didn't know that
like brunch is like a get drunk thing.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yes it is. It is a get drunk thing.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah. And the second like, Tata was totally hitting on me,
which was great, and like really at the beginning of
our date, she was just like really coming on hard.
Maybe I'm the opposite of every other man in the
world and alcohol makes me less attractive.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
You never know, man.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
So, so have we talked to her since? Have you
talked about another date? Is it?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Where are we now? No? I really haven't had any
other contact with her pretty much since that date, I
mean at all.

Okay, and I sent her a few dms.

And stuff like that, but it's silence on her and okay, cool.

Well, we'll get Tabitha on the phone and find out
what happened, Like a few drinks made her look at
you in a different life or did you screw something up?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
On kJ one O three. All right, let's get right
into the second date update. Tabitha and Tony met that subway.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I mean, come on, how could you go wrong with that?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Eat fresh?

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Okay, Anyway, they went on a date. Tony thought everything
was good. Tabitha, you're kind of ghosted him. Right now,
we're trying to figure out why. Welcome to the second
date update.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, Tony, he he does this thing that I'm sure
it's fine for some people, but it's just like a
really big turn off for me. Like he thinks it's
funny to be rude to people because obviously he's joking, right,
but it's just rude and it misses the tone and

it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Like give us an example of what he does.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Oh, well, like when we so he sat down and
grabbed the table and then the server was there like literally,
you know, ten seconds later after we like just open
the menus, and then Tony was like, well.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
So god got to do to get the drink around here,
get a service around here.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
You know, like just started like saying stuff like that,
but then like laughing hilariously.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, so he was kind of joking about being rude,
but you didn't like, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Because like the way that he was like so abrupt
with it, it was a lot, and you could tell
that the server was annoyed.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
But then she kind of like did the.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Like laughing with him, because you know, she's the server
and he's the customer. Sure, he's doing all this thing
kind of jokes like all night, right, Like when he
finished this, dude, he was like, tell that chef that
this was the worst burger I ever had. And the
waitress like this poor girl, Oh my god. She was
just like, oh really. But then he like picks up

his epty plate and he's like, so the look plug,
I was.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Serious, and then starts laughing.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Okay, a whole bunch of lots, I got you, so
a lot of the rude type of sarcasm.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Yeah, yeah, and it's just it's just kind of noption.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Okay by the end of the night, Okay, we got
Tony on the phone.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yeah, I mean it's just like gonna make me sound
like a rude guy, and it's just one of those
things where I'm joking around.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Well, I mean, I know it was a joke, but
it wasn't funny. It was off putting.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Well, I mean, like the waitress is in on the
joke though, No.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I mean no, she wasn't, because you could tell that
like she was annoyed and like tense, and it just
wasn't funny.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I thought it was pretty darmn funny.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Well, we know that you think.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Who make funny are funny, and maybe other people in
your life probably think that's funny too.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
I'm glad he had fun I really just did it.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Do you feel like you have to make sure they
know it's a joke.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Kind of apologize? Okay, Okay, let me ask you this, Tabitha,
because you I mean, well, he told us you were
attracted to him. You're the one that asked for his Instagram.
You're the one that asked him out. If Tony didn't
do this, if he stopped doing this, would you want
to go on a second date with him? We'll send
you guys out to another brunch.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I mean, even if he stops this, let's just call
it a quirk. I mean, the fact that he thinks
that that kind of way to talk and like look at.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Things is funny. I mean, the fact that he thinks
that's funny first place is a total turnoff for me.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Wow, Okay, okay, Well, I mean, you know, not having
a sense humor is a turnoff for me, and it
just it just comes sounding you got up on the
wrong side of the bed.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Like that's that's rude, like saying something like that.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I was joking. Well, were you joking? Stop real?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
I mean, but again, maybe that's the problem.

Maybe that's a problem.

Tony's joking.

And if you're not looking at him where you don't
know him, you don't get a sense of humor timing.

I get that. So I think Tony needs to find
a different way to be funny because this on just
this isn't working if you have to say I was joking.
