It's a big show. It's Friday. How you feeling. I'm doing
great, man. Yesterday I tookthat steel you know, that scrap steel
a hat over to Ray's salvage,paying more for salvage than any other yard.

However, my onion was it costme twenty dollars in gas. Take it

see. My onion would be thatI have a doctor's appointment today. I
don't like going to the doctor.It makes me so nervous, but it's

something that I have to get done, and I've been putting it off,
so I'm just going to go inand get it done, trying to be
an adult. And my apple wouldbe that I'm just really excited for the
weekend. I'm excited. We're supposedto have really nice weather this weekend.
So well, let's go. I'mgoing to get outside. Do not avoid
the doctor. You could end uplosing a toe if you wait too long.

I'm coaching my son's flag football teamagain. This would be my third year.
I have not been kicked out ofthe league yet for yelling at referees.

a little chatty, overly chatty withreferee, and I was so worried that

know, it's just so much funto get out there and coach and help
the kids learn and stuff like that. Well, and they're lucky they got
I mean, you're dedicated coach,and you did this stuff. So it's
good that they get somebody knows whatthey're doing instead of somebody is like,
oh I can do it. Youknow it is It is fun. And
we the last season I did wrappedup around coach for kids time and they
were talking about us on the news, right and so they're like, oh

Wayne detail and bam, you know, they gave us a shout out on
the news. Well, one ofthe kids the next game came up and
he goes, I found out whoyou are because his mom was watching the
news and heard them say my name, and then he realized, wait a
minute, isn't your coach's name Wayne. All like they all put it together
because I don't connection together. Yeah, I was just walking and go,

looking forward to that. Uh.Man, my onion is probably gosh,
I don't know. I don't thinkI have anything that's really like popping up

a new TV. We watched alot of TV and uh, we enjoy

it. And we have a littlemedia room with the you know, little
chairs and everything, and the otherTV was was starting to mess up,
and I went we went over tobest Buy and got this and I and
this guy was an expert, andI said, okay, I want to
be I want to be in themovie. Man. I want to be
in the I don't want to gosit anymore in the theater, people talking,
and I want I want the experience. And it was expensive and we

did it. And so my daughterknows how to work all this stuff.
And she came in and she puton Oppenheimer and I thought I was going
to have to put on a nuclearshield. I felt like I was in
the blast. It was out,Oh that's cool, this is what I'm
talking about. And she had itlike she goes, it's fifteen. That's
at fifteen and I go, ohmy god. I could my chest was

vibrating. The walls were shaking.At fifteen. She goes this second goes
one hundred. You won't be ableto sit in here, old man.
I was like, Oh my gosh, this is awesome. Do you have
like a sound system? It?It came with this soundbar thing. They
also had these other two speakers andthe guy you know, we popped for
the whole deal. So it wassome money, you know. And I'm
telling you it was the theater experience. It was this. I think I

could watch anything. It's pretty bigscreen anyway, but I mean it's it's
I think somebody watches a lot ofTV. YEA, I'm gonna enjoy it.
That's funny because the other day wewere talking about how the theater is
the most GERMYUS place. Yeah,and then Bama's like, I don't want
to go to the theaters anymore.I don't think I'm not saying anything to
do with this purchase. But thatnext day we're buying a TV the theater

again. So Bama's wife was like, Hey, so I heard about the

Panhandle have been, you know,ordered to evacuate because there's been multiple wildfires.
You've seen it all over the newssince Monday, but they're One of
the fires is called the Smokehouse Creekwildfire, and that's grown to over a
eight hundred and fifty thousand acres.That's all a lot, and it is

over into Oklahoma. Oklahoma's fighting iton that end and it's nowhere near contained.
Yeah. It's just strange though,if you've never yelled, never been
to that part of Texas, it'sjust you could you get on the roof
of your truck and you can justturn and you won't be able to see
the horizon in any direction. It'sjust flat grass and it's just burning,
you know. So that but there'sgetting some houses, some towns, little

towns up there. Well they're sayingit's it's the second largest wildfire in Texas
history. Now, yeah, that'sterrifying. Yeah, that's crazy. Next,
the Central Texas Food Bank has launchedits inaugural Feeding Create Creativity Youth art
competition. So elementary, middle andhigh school students across the twenty one county

service area are invited to showcase theirtalents for a meaningful cause, and the
winning students their artwork is going tobe displayed at food banks all over their
eighteen wheelers. You know. So, I think that's so cool. Like
this has the opportunity for kids artto get like seen across Central Texas.
I think that's awesome. We gotto encourages art in any way possible.

Yeah, And it's a cool ideabecause you see some of those trucks anyway,
and they're all graffiti do right.Yeah? I love that. That's
cool. And last, an Austinnonprofit organization is celebrating one hundred years in
the area. They just celebrated thispast Monday, which is so awesome.
It's United Way for Greater Austin.They're going to be hosting it's annual A

They said that the event will includea live auction and tickets to see Taylor

a brand new album coming out,and I've always wondered this in because you're
such an artist and you really careabout this stuff. Do you like taking
your time to do an album orunder the gun with the record companies?
Do you just have to get oneout every so often? It's it's that's
a really good question, because it'sit's kind of where the two worlds crash

a little bit. Is the timeI like not like to take. It's
not true I'd like to bang outan album in a week if I could.
That'd be amazing because I got thingsto do. But they take what
they take. Sometimes they're really quickand sometimes they're super long, and sometimes
they want to go in a differentdirection. And this album I started over

two years ago and ended up withlike thirteen songs, and February last year,
I thought, there's my album.Finally, great, let's get going
and bring it into my team andI play it to everybody, and as
I'm playing it in this conference room, I'm like, ah, this is
not it. You're seeing faces myfeeling for the first time playing it for

other people, I could just feelall the wind going out of me,
and then then energy in the roomwas a little bit similar, and I
was like, this is not it. Is it? You know? And
they're like, well, you tellme, and I went, it's not.
But there was like four really goodsongs in that record, messed up
as me being one of them,and I maybe five songs, and the

rest was like that were really goodsongs. It was just everything was just
the same kind of thing, andI just knew. I was like,
this is gonna take another that's that'stwenty three gone. Twenty twenty three is

was going to be expanding on it. But I feel like a lot of
artists are putting out bars right nowand it seems to be like kind of
the cool thing to do. Doyou plan on putting out a bar soon?
Yeah? It's funny. Country hasa history of that because when I
first moved to town, everybody hadmerchandise shops, gift shops. Okay,

like up on the Mumbrian there waslike Randy Travis gift shop, Alabama gift
Shop. Barbara Mandrel had this wholemassive building and they sold at the merch
you know, because back in theday, that's that's what you did,
and that was like your your trophywas like where's your gift shop? Where's
you know, you haven't made ityet? And yeah, and now it's
the bar. Do you have awhere's your bar at? You know?

stories always help. And now Bama'sbonehead Isaiah barth isac is in Lincoln,
Nebraska. He's twenty four years old, a career criminal. At twenty four,
he's got a long, long rapsheet of burglaries and robberies and that

kind of thing. Yet he's stillwalking the streets. Uh. He went
into the local waggabag there in Lincolnand it's a convenience store and he robbed
the store. Now he used agun, No, he used a knife.
No, he used a box ofcinnamon rolls. Now, don't get
me wrong. You could hold meup with cinnamon rolls. Well, wait

a minute, we go for sure. How much you need, I'll give
you all of it. Uh No, the kavea store clerk there didn't realize
it was a box of cinnamon rolls. It was inside his coat, and
he made it look like it wasa gun. And now here's what he
did. He didn't think he gotcaught, of course, otherwise he wouldn't
have his name. But he saidhe had a gun on him when they

caught him. But he used thecinnamon roll This is what he said.
I used the cinem That way,it wouldn't be armed robbery. Oh my
goodness. Because yeah, because evenif you look like you have a gun,
like if I got a Snickers barin my pocket, I'm pretending like
it's still what an idiot. I'mjust gonna say this, cinnamon rolls have

done more to kill me than agun, so I think it counts.

morning, which is this has beenso awesome and it's funny because Tay was
like, I have two goals,ask my question and then get a picture
before he leaves. Yes, sotaste tastes content. I did want to

ask you are a guy that youshould be considered Entertainer of the Year every
year, at least being the runningfor it, because if you go to
a Keith r and so, it'sso good man, you do such a
great job connecting with the fans.Why has that always been a top priority
for you? I like being partof everybody. I like being connected.
I met a get caned with them, with themselves, then with me,

all of us to get connected.And maybe it just comes from playing the
clubs when I was a teenager andhaving to get people's attention because no one
give a crap. They could careless. You know that some dudes up
on stage while in away they couldn'tcare less. And see, getting their
attention turns you into an entertainer.I used to run to the back of
the of these clubs and jump upon the bar and play my guitar.

As soon as I had a wirelessguitar. And it's crazy because that kind
of became the b stage out inthe arena. But to me, it
feels like running up the back ofthe bar and standing on the bar.
It's like that's where it came from. People and the guitar. The giving
the guitar away thing that came fromwanting to go to the back and get

on a secondary stage. This isa long time back in my career,
and once YouTube started exploding, everybodyknew what you were going to do,
so you couldn't. You were like, how do we surprise people at a
show because everyone films it and noweveryone knows, so the no surprise.
And what I was doing was Iwas taking off randomly in a song with

my guitar and running to the back. You could run through the crowd so
quick because they weren't expecting you.Do security know you're doing this, so
at least they can help you.You know that you can run faster on
your own, trust, right,Yeah, when you get a boss around
you, it's hopeless. I endedup out running them anyway. I don't
know a lot about running, asyou could tell. Let's keep ninety eight

places like California, right or Florida, but apparently the town of Sedona,
Arizona is known for its red rocksand pine forests, and a lot of
people don't travel there, especially likeduring the summers and stuff. But this
social media post is now going aroundsaying like, hey, this is a

good spot that people should check outbecause it's just it's a relaxing place to
visit. And I couldn't find thaton a map other than being on Route
sixty six where it's in that song. Yea, yeah, that's the only
time even think about Sedona, Arizona. I know, when you think about
going on vacation, I would neverthink to go to Arizona. I would
take a vacation anywhere right now,I do not care. I would go

to the North Pole naked just toget time up right now. But now,
but you know what came to mymind is now that this post is
going around, I feel like everybody'sgonna go visit Sedona now. Yeah,
yeah, it's that's true. Weshouldn't have said nothing. I know we're
not going anywhere anyway. We're broke. Where are we gonna go? Luberville?
