y'all don't go away. Man,y'all look at y'all get more and
more and more shows. I seey'all on so many advertisement live show here

(01:33):
in town, out of town, doing your entrepreneurial thing as well doing your
families. Like, man, that'sawesome to see, big blessing. Man.
All I can do is give itup to the most high. You
know what I'm saying. How youfeel me interviewing now? Since you got
your own podcast now that you're rockingwith just say it again, you got
your own podcast, right right, right right, yeah, yeah right,

(01:53):
shout out to no rap cap podcast. Man, y'all be going in on
some serious subjects. Man. Wejust try to talk about life and give
it, give it to people fromour perspective, you know what I'm saying.
You know it only perspective. Youknow what I'm saying it right?
Wrong, Yeah, don't make itright or wrong, but it's just our
perspective, you know. And who'syour co host on the co host Well,

(02:14):
Gas is the host, and Nicholsis myself and a guy by the
name of Thomas so Gas is theactual host or the podcast and our co
host with him and my partner,my other partner Jay Jay Thomas. Yeah,
shout out the Gas. I knowhe started like a wild play get
a clothing line, yeah Gas,Well yeah, that's all kind of stuff,
man, So shout out to Gasas well. One was giving his

(02:35):
props as well. Well do nowyou're not bringing a single today. You're
not coming talk about the podcast. You're not coming to talk about your beautiful
daughters and wife. You know, you're coming to talk about this book.
Yeah yeah, yeah, and allthat's in that book, you know what
I'm saying. Yeah, yeah,So I'm talking about pretty much all those
things you just mentioned is inside thatbook. So you are now only a

(02:59):
father and an artist and a podcaster, but you're an author now yeah yeah,
I like to hear that behind sayit again, Yeah yes, but
author. Yeah, So tell mewhat is the name of your booking some
background on this. The name ofthe book is called Untold, The Story
of an Unknown Legend, and it'sjust an autobiography my life. You know

(03:21):
what I'm saying, Me from akid to where I'm at today, you
know what I'm saying. So Ijust kind of give people a walk with
me through all my journey, someof the things I've went through, some
things I've overcame, and how Idid it. And I also, in
a book, I'm trying to makeit a learning experience because I try to
tell people the mistakes that I made, you know, how I learned the
difference between what I did wrong andright from that perspective, So the book

(03:43):
jumps a lot, you know whatI'm saying, Like a movie. You
ever saw a movie that see Now, let me take you back two years
ago? Yeah, five years earlier, you know, stuff like that.
So that's kind of like the wayI set the book up, like to
kind of take the reader back andforward in my life, like according to
this from things I say. Wait, I'll speak on that more and down
the line, you know what I'msaying. So when I bring it back

(04:05):
up and make a lot of senseto air it out at that time,
you know, I'm so how scarywas it writ in a book about yourself?
Like, because you're letting people intolike your intimate parts of your life?
It was first of all, itwas therapeutic, you know what I'm
saying, because going back on thingsin life. You know, you kind
of like reminisce. You go,you go through those emotions again and you

(04:28):
know, some good something bad.So it was real therapeutic, and um,
it shows you how far you havegrown in that time as well,
Like you know what I'm saying, you go to sin Like damn, I
used to think like this at onetime, and now I don't. I'm
almost like I don't even know theperson. You know, when I was
younger, he had the old person. I was almost like I don't know
him because I'm so far away fromthat type of person. You have definitely

(04:49):
grown bro, right, But Iknow we used to be two hot heads.
Yeah right right, say, don'ttry to give it in prices on
parts I've been working with y'all.Yes, the dead price is not the
dead prices. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, that's how they used to
go. But you know, butthat's how we do. Yeah, we
grew right, and man, wego together, you know what I'm saying.

(05:11):
We go together, And I guessyou'll be able to see all of
those different things in the book.Uh. On my Wild Wind uh Unsane
podcast that I did with Partners inCrime, we we found out a lot
of backstory on you guys. Someof that, yeah, some of it.
Some of it's in the book. And some things that we didn't talk
about is in the book. Andthe reason why some of the things that

(05:32):
we that we didn't talk about thisin the book is because y'all didn't bring
it up. Oh y'all didn't askus about it. So so we kind
of get into some other things thatpeople may not know. You know what
I'm saying now, I'm impressed.This is a hard copy. It's a
hard cover. A lot of timesyou just get soft covers. But I
guess that that shows just how importantthis book is to you. Um,

(05:54):
it's my legacy, man, youknow what I'm saying. And it's something
that I want to leave to mykids, you know, you know,
besides music or whatever, I wantedsomething. I wanted to tell my story
before somebody else get to tell mystory. So I take a lot of
pride in it. And you know, it's a good piece of work to
me. You know what I'm saying. I love it. You know.
It's the new book from Michael MisdemeanorPatterson Untold The Story of an Unknown Legend.

(06:18):
Why the title Untold? First ofall is because these are some things
that people are not gonna pretty muchknow about me until they read the book.
But the part about the story ofan unknown legend is because New Orleans
have labeled me a legend, butI've been all around the world and some
of those people don't consider me asa legend because they don't know me in

(06:38):
that light. So this book isto kind of like open people mind up
to who I actually am and theycan understand why people may call me a
legend from New Orleans. So I'munknown as a legend to the world,
but you know, in New Orleans, I'm homegrown. Yeah. You know.
They just did a podcast called ThePivot with Ryan from uh ESPN.

(07:00):
It played for the stealer Ryan Clark, and that's exactly what he said.
It was him in Little Wayne onthe podcast and he said, how we
made our own stars here in NewOrleans, and uh we celebrated them long
before the world knew about him.And then when they finally caught up,
there was like, Oh, that'sthat's how I thought about them, because
they cold, or they creative,or they did so they that man.

(07:21):
And that's kind of the same thingbecause you guys have definitely paid your duds
and going all around to do yourthing, and they just catching up.
Yeah, they just catching up.So that's that's why the title his name,
you know, the story of anunknown, unknown legend man. So
I'm happy to have you up here. Uh, you have some business coming
up with this. When is thebook dropping? But the book is dropping

(07:43):
Sunday, July thirty. I willbe doing an end store at Peaches Records,
the historical Peaches Uptown Uptown magazine anduh, it starts at two o'clock
ends at five. Shout out Sharonniover man legends. That's moms man,
that's moms you know. Sharonni sentme a text every morning the inspiration,
inspirational stuff. Yeah, so I'mone of them, you know what I'm

(08:05):
saying. I don't. I know, Mia told me a couple other people,
but I'm honored to be in thatcategory of people. You know what
I'm saying. And I send itback stuff too as well. So yeah,
that's my moms to me, youknow. So that's gonna be next
Sunday, next Sunday, July thirtieth, and the book signing will be at
two pm. Two pm. Yeah, but where else can people get the

(08:26):
book where they can get the book. Um, they can also pre order
right now, because a lot ofpeople are asking me about ordering and pre
ordering and things of that nature. But if you want to get the book
right now, you can get iton Amazon, or you can go to
Bonds and Noble. Okay, andI also but I prefer people to come
to my site and get it,you know what I'm saying. My site

(08:50):

the whole like you know, kindof concept. I hip hopped it out,

(09:13):
saying, They can take it outif they come shot with me. You
know what I'm saying. Shop graffitidot com and you go to Lincoln buy
you all Misdemeaning's page as well.Yeah, hey man, we'll congratulations on
the book. How they appreciate allof love and respect I can get from
everybody, man, How they appreciateit? It is you know what I'm
