(00:00):
It's another episode of the will JustAgree to Disagree podcast. I'm Beyonce fine
and I am Rightley, So Ryan, we are here at the holidays.
Yeah, which has thrown up byI feel like it just it just hit
November and now it's Thanksgiving literally dependingon when you're listening to this podcast,

(00:23):
especially Thanksgiving time. Yeah, whenare you What are you guys doing for
Thanksgiving? This year? We willbe in Chicago. This will be kind
of Yeah, we're gonna do theholidays here because you know, Thanksgiving is
kind of look a shorter break.I only get kind of like a few
days in the weekend, so wedon't go all the way to the Carolinas.
We have some family that are flyingin town here, so we'll be
here for Thanksgiving. I'll be workingpart usual. Wait, you're working,

(00:47):
not actual, Well technically I willbe on air Thanksgiving night and yeah,
technically. So this is gonna bejust a nice little chill just lounge around
the house, put on sweats, nothing like may your Christmas is when we
travel do all it. Yeah, but I'm excited. What are you doing?
Same? You know, we allgo over to my sister's house and

(01:08):
we have family time. We sing, we do a little program like honestly,
you know, it's oh yeah, what's the program? We have?
Prayer, we have singing, wehave sometimes you may go around the room
and do like little testimony. God, I love that you have food.

(01:30):
Of course, you watch a wholebunch of football parades, all this stuff
that's on TV. And then youknow, shoot, I'm ready to bounce
after a little while, I canget back to the city. Now,
what time do you guys? Areyou a family that you know Thanksgiving?
Okay, that's around us. We'relike one two yep, but you know
some let's just call it what itis. Some black families eat Thanksgiving dinner

(01:52):
at like eight pm nine ps,I know, and they eat all day
and all night. That's not useither, No, we yeah, the
calls time is for noon. I'mresponsible this year for sodas well, drinks.
It could be any type of drink, water, soda, whatever,
and the cranberry sauce. So that'smy assignment. And can you not cook?

(02:13):
I think most people know that answerbecause you're trying to put me on
blasts. Okay, because that's likemy fee. I'll be telling me go
get the rolls and the ones thatare made already, and drinks whatever I
bring, like the paper play.I don't bring food dishes that you actually
had to make, right because Icare. I can't cook. I'm pretty

(02:36):
sure I could, but they knowI have a crazy schedule and I come
like the furthest than anyone else. And they're like, girls, just stop
and get some sodas, some drinksand the cranberry sauce. I'm like,
okay, And you like the cranberrysauce. Oh my gosh, do I
the best part of Thanksgiving? Cranberrysauce. You mix that in some dressing,
some Brussels sprouts. Oh yeah, who's eating Brussels spouts? Me?

(03:00):
Krispy kind too? Who is Brusselssprouts a fire? You need some collar
greens with the neck bones and theBrussels sprouts. Here we go with this
again. Yes, anyway, Soand then Friday the next day, you
know where I'm gonna be in thesestreet? Are you going out shopping?
Am I? Yeah? You're stillone of those well kind of. I

(03:23):
mean sometimes you really really, like, seriously, do get some good Black
Friday deals. I'm not with allthe HEIGHTE like, oh my gosh,
I'm not gonna be in line atfour am and all that. No,
I don't do that. It's justreally a normal Friday for me. And
a lot of times in years recentyears, it's not all the height like
it used to be. It's notat all. Because one of those years

(03:44):
I got up really early to beatthe crowd and I was like, wait,
this looks like a normal shop. And to be honest, I can
tell you from experience. Uh,the last retail I worked was is W
maybe a few years back. Itwas either the wh and M one of
the retail stores I worked at,and we were kind of looking at ourselves
like we I worked a Black Fridayand it didn't remove the needle. Yeah,
like it did what it you knowit did, but it did not.

(04:08):
It wasn't likely, no, becausenowadays all these stores you're gonna get
get the deals either before after alreadyexactly, and then not only that,
online shopping is where it's at exactly, Like you could just stay in the
comfort of your own home, pullit up, get it. You may
get it better than someone who's actuallystanding at the store. So yeah,
so that I mean, it's nobig deal. I used to go like
Thanksgiving Night to the outlets. Rememberall that I never was that person.

(04:30):
I never person. But I don'tlike a lot of crowds. I don't
like a lot of crowd shopping, dude. It was so dope to be
like two in the morning shopping.I felt like I was back in Vegas
again. I loved it. Now. I will say this for those who
are thinking they're going to go tocertain stores on Thanksgiving Day, I know
a few. Target and Walmart haveboth come out and said they will be
closed Thanksgiving Day this year because theywant their employees to enjoy the Yeah,

(04:54):
and restaurants. Some restaurants are goingto be closed. A lot of people
are starting to do that whole thingbecause they feel like we're not gonna get
that much money anyway by being open, because most people are spending time with
their families. But it is aconvenience though when those stores are open in
restaurants, because a lot of peoplethink about it, don't have the family
to go to, or just youknow. Yeah, but anyway, holidays

(05:15):
to you and your family. Likewise, enjoy your time. If you guys
need me, I will still behere. I think that's it though.
Yeah, all right, Okay, one last thing before we leave. What
what are you thankful for? Ooh? Just life in general? Thank you,
Lord for allowing me to see anotherday, new opportunities, just blessings

(05:39):
on blessings on blessings. Thank you. I like that. I'm gonna say,
with the year that it's been myGod, I'm gonna say I'm thankful
for his strength. I think thisis the year that my prayer has changed.
Of Lord, I need your strengthmore than ever. I mean strength
from you, guys. Know.A few months ago I was in the
accident, strength of lost family, loved ones unexpectedly. This year, uh,

(06:03):
strength of just a lot of personalthings that Beyonce Elso knows what's going
on. So this season, thisyear, I think I'm thankful that He
has supplied that because that's the onlyway I'm still on this micro right now,
I'm still here. There it is. I don't know what song that
was from, but that that's mytast I didn't know how some old gospel

(06:26):
song I don't remember, but anyway, but yeah, right, Well you
guys have a great Thanksgiving, happyholidays, all that good stuff. Peace,
