Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wednesday, could not do it without doctor Kim. And February
is National Cancer Prevention Month. Doctor Kim and I were saying,
you know, they always talk about cancel culture, but you say, what.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
We're canceling cancer. It's time for us to cancel cancer.
And one of the ways that we can do it
is by our routines and habits that we have each
and every day. We can make sure that we're no
longer eating muculess foods, or acidic foods, or even acidic
(00:31):
thoughts stinking thinking. So let's make sure that when we eat, drink,
and think today cancels cancer.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Well.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
On this Wednesday, it is a Wellness Wednesday. Doctor Kim,
doctor Kimberly Allen the full name.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
She is back.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
She's been doing a great job giving us a lot
of advice about what we should eat, what we should drink.
And today she's going to share her personal testimony. It's
National Cancer Prevention Month. And I know you, doctor Kim,
have dealt with the cancer in your family and it
actually kindly led to your passion about wholeness and wellness.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Absolutely absolutely it did.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
When I was younger, my actual eldest sister she passed
away with stomach cancer. But that's actually where I learned
how to pure food and to juice because I helped
my mother purey her food. She had sixty percent of
her stomach taken out due to stomach cancer. And then
(01:30):
my godmother passed away of breast cancer and I helped
to take care of her as well, and I understood
different food dynamics and.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
How she actually got breast cancer.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
And then my mother passed away of ovarian cancer. And
so doing all the research that I needed to do
on the different forms of cancer so that people can
have their loved ones longer, so that they can revert,
they can prevent, and they can live a better life
(02:04):
with the diagnosis. And I always tell people, don't own
the diagnosis is we love our doctors and they're great
for when situations are heightened. But if we can be
the physician that heals ourselfs like it says in Luke,
(02:24):
then I am ready to partner with those people who
are ready to be their own physician.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, and I mean it's sad to hear and see, Yes,
a lot of folks are passing away from cancer and
through your research, can you just share one thing that
you learned about the dynamics of cancer, how it happens,
and ways that we can try to do our best
to regulate it if we do get that diagnosis.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
I always like to tell people to start at the root.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
There's always a root cause of why a person receives
a diagnosse. And we talked about earlier how much emotions
are connected to certain organs. So sometimes one of the
first things I will ask a person is what life
(03:14):
altering thing has happened in your life recently, because sometimes
it makes a person bitter and not better.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
And so I start with there is it? Resentment? Is it? Bitterness?
Is it? Trauma? Is what are you holding on to?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
So I'll begin to unpack what I call a primary plate.
There's a primary plate that leads to a secondary plate.
There's a reason why people might crave attention, they may
crave of food, they may crave an addiction, whether it's
alcohol or cigarettes or anything. It's something that drove them
(03:50):
to that. And normally the primary plate is what a
person is dealing with psychologically or in trauma. So I'll
say that first because we have to detox that, because
before we.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Can declutter anything else. So we'll detox that first.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
And then once we do that, then I'll begin to
deal with Okay, what are you craving what foods? Because
cancer loves sugar. So I'll say the first thing that
we have to do is get sugar out. Why because
sugar robs the body of oxygen and actually goes into
the very bone marrow and begins to eat at the
(04:29):
bone marrow of someone's body. And as you know, when
cancer gets into that bone marrow sometimes it can be
very devastating. And so the first thing I'll say is
let's go sugar less so that we can see how
we can get more oxygen in your body.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Right here with doctor Kim on this well, it's Wednesday,
it's National Cancer Prevention Month, and she's talking about her
journey that she's had with her mom and her spiritual
mom and family members. So she's gonna talk to us
how what she has processed, what she has learned, and
how we can put it into play. If perhaps you're
dealing with cancer, maybe you have a loved one or
a friend, We're going to get back into it.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
On a wellness Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Good Morning Inspiration thirteen ninety family and it's Sonia Blaky
on a Wellness Wednesday and February not only is Heart
Health month, it's also National Cancer Prevention Month. And doctor
Kim is with me Wholeness and Wellness Expert, and she's
sharing a little bit of her journey with cancer that
you actually help your mom work through.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
And a lot of peop folks know your mom.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
The late doctor Joe and long let's talk about love,
marriage and the family. She was on radio for years
and you said the doctor only gave her after the diagnosis.
He only gave her two weeks to live or two months.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
They said, two weeks to two months to live.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Get your affairs in order.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
And she left when her and God said she was
going to leave, but it was a little after two years.
And I absolutely believe that it was her family, her friends,
her loved ones. Faith without works is dead, so it
was faith and works. So we had to work nutrition,
we had to work movements. There were times that I
(06:11):
actually took my mom to stretch lab or stretching walking,
getting fresh air. But it was work to live and
for her to extend that two month time to over
two years. And it was an absolute pleasure to dive
in the journey with her, to give her the quality
(06:33):
of life that she needs, and that's what actually motivates
me to give people their loved ones longer.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
That's great. And you said your mom she had ovarian cancer.
Now did your mom through this process of you helping
her with you know, fitness and nutrition and you know,
just an overall wholeness type of plan.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
She did go through.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Chemo and radiation at the same time.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
She did.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
She didn't your radiation, and I'm glad she did not
do that. Not condemning anyone that does do what you
feel led to do.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
That's your independent journey.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
But she did have treatments, and with those treatments, we
just made sure that we implemented everywhere we could the
nutrition through food, through minerals, through beverages with benefits, with
making sure her blood was good. I believe that Leviticus
(07:33):
was onto something when the word says there is life
in the blood. So we took a blood approach, cleaning
the blood. Your blood can carry a lot of bacteria,
so we were cleaning a lot of the bacteria out
of her blood. We was making sure that she had
healthy cells so that she can live life well. And
(07:55):
she actually towards right before the end of her life.
She actually received the diagnosis that it was in remission,
and so we were glad that it at least went
into remission. She actually passed away, yeah, a little after
(08:16):
two years. And I believe she left when she wanted
to leave. But it was it was work. It was work,
and so if it's work, what I want to share
with people that the work is worth it. The work
is worth it. Get the knowledge that you need, the
support that you need, even caregivers. I always tell caregivers,
take care of yourself, and you need to make sure
(08:39):
that you're getting the sleep that you need and the
support that you need so that you can take care
of your loved ones.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
And when you talk about your mom, the late doctor
Joan Long, who I knew well we we. I came
into contact with her many times in the radio business,
and I noticed she was a praan. She was a
prid woman and seeing woman. And you said that through
the entire process she prayed over everything. She touched everything
through prayer.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Everything. The doctors left her, the nurses loved her.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
When she came on that floor to get any treatment
that she gave, she would lift up that treatment and
she would pray and then she would pray for everyone
that was in the treatment center with her, and she
said that the doctors are genius. You created this and
you created that, and let it do what it's supposed
(09:30):
to do. So always allow your faith to work in
combination with whatever you do.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
And remember, faith without works is dead.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
So it was faith and works that I believe kept
her here a little bit longer before.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Well, thank God for using you and for putting you
in a position to be able to help her AE. Yeah,
you have a wonderful gift. Tell us, doctor Kim, how
we can reach you and learn more about your your
holistic approach.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Sure, sure it's meat underscore, doctor Kim, I'm your holistic
doctor on TikTok and and keep it moving with Kim
dot com. Keep it moving with Kim dot com as well.
Those are the ways that you can reach you get it.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
