Speaker 4 (00:28):
I saw two little boys Saturday at Camping World. My
mom did a broadcast. I saw them enjoy hot dogs
and go through RB's and campers.

Speaker 6 (00:37):
And popcorn, and they had bubbles and like a little
football throw things thrown up. They know how to throw
down over there. They were even throwing like bahitas, oh
I know, Blackstone grill and feeding everybody.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
We're calling it in Actually I called you and it's
like I was gonna swing by. You're like, man, they're
doing hot dogs and fohitos over here. Come on. That
was a big cookout. It was I'm glad you guys.

one and five. It's young Love and Saturday Nights now

Speaker 4 (01:21):
He's got a shiverly then, don't know Israel. The weekend
is behind us, a great work week and back to
school in front of us. And we got this eight five. Well,
we got a test says it's gonna be hot today.
But we're used to it, right, We are used to it.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
And man, we got to talk about those seminoles.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Man, what a terrible loss here. Can you believe that Ireland?
It was a great game, but fsu it just they
could not bring it home. I can't imagine all the
fans that went over for that trip was so excited
and to lose the first game of the season. But
that's okay. It was week zero. This is week one,
so just week zero, it was.

Speaker 6 (01:55):
A big deal. It was a lot of pressure and
man to have the honor of being the very first
ever college football team to play a team or to
play overseas at all is still a big win in
my heart for the Seminoles. And again it's it's just
the first game of the season. They've got a lot
of time, We've.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Got a long way to go. Good stuff. I love it.
I'm just gonna have football season's back and everybody gets
here and safe and we're ready for it in the
eighty five zero. Great job, Seminoles, We love you regardless.
It's ninety two to five doublepap coming back.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Oh, it was fantastic. We spent time at the pool,
we spent time at Shipwreck Island, got some chores done.
I got to do that live broadcast at Camping World,
and a couple of movie nights. So fun all around.
How about you.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I know that was fun. I took in the Little
League World Series and I have to have to brag
on our very own from the great state of Florida,
Lake Mary. They took care of the Little League World
Series between Florida and Taiwan. Went to extra innings yesterday
and ended up, believe it or not, with a butt
walk off winner, and Florida got it done.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
Yes, you'll be bunt Alex Sander with the runner at
second base Norton, he gets it down. Oh, which.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Champions Lake Mary Florida beating Taiwan. That is an awesome win.
And by the way, the pitcher and the first basement
both went for the ball. No one covered first, but
the pitcher threw there anyways, And the Florida guys actually
had to console the Taiwan team after they were in tears.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
I mean, how could you not. That's a lot of
pressure for such young guys. I know they were congratulations,
they were in tears.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
And are Florida guys doing it consoling Taiwan and bringing
home the trophy.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
Man, I'm gonna tear up, I'll tell you, that's awesome.
Way to go guy.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
All right, six twenty six your drive time. Proud of
your Northwest Florida Doctor Shane and a big shout out
to Bay County, Gulf County, Walton Holmes. What's going on Calhoun,
Washington County Jackson, Good morning, Jason Aldean. When she says baby,
your iHeart country medically is next. Panama City is number
one country station. WPAP running to head north to Music City,

(03:57):
their sister, Let's go all Right, the latest news from
music and Tessa's Iheard Country Minute on if.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Your Monday Morning needs a Dosa Dolly to get you going.
She released two new tracks from her Smoky Mountain DNA project,
the title track Smoky Mountain DNA. You know this is
the one that she has done with a lot of
her different family members on all the different tracks. Cool,
so the title track as well as a rose Won't
Fix It Now. The thirty seven track album pays homage
to her Smoky Mountain heritage, and that's going to be

(04:27):
out November the fifteenth. If you're looking forward to.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
It, Bring it, Dolly, Bring it girl.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
We were treated to so much great new country music
over the weekend that the new album by Thomas Rhett,
The One Church that pays a tribute to Eric Church,
was a great track, and Lady Wilson's new album Whirlwind
also came out. A couple of my favorite tracks counting
Chickens Ringfinger and the one called keep Up with Jones.
Oh Yeah, as in George Jones. The Girl's country and

(04:52):
so we're going to be celebrating her with an album
release party all afternoon as well today with an iHeart
Radio album release, So if you want to hear some
of the stories behind those songs, you're listening all afternoon.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
You have Landy Wilson, you had me at Lady, but
you really got me a Jones.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
You feel like it's the first it's the first one
off the top of the album, so you're really.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Gonna love it, love it, love it, love it. Coming
back on WPAP drive safely NORTHWESTWARDO week sounds good to me.
All right, Tess is five, Let's roll. It's time for
Tess's five Random Facts on ninety two to five WPAP
brought to you by Jerry Pybus and Jerry Pybus Electric,
Miss Doris, Jerry, of course, Pam and Darryl, the whole

(05:28):
crew at Jerry Pybus Electric. You need one of those
generators to keep the lines on.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
I was just talking about that. We have a little
less than ninety nine days left in hurricane season, so
while the tropics are quiet right now, that doesn't mean
they're going to stay that way. So you want to
be prepared. Over five. You know how to play guitar
Shane really well, so this should make it easy for
you if you're ever trying to play the song High
Voltage by a CDC. The chord progression in the chorus

(05:53):
is a c DC.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Look at You Go, girls, easy to remember, look at
you Go. That's my.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
After a curling match, you know, curling in the Olympics.
Everyone thinks they can do it, but it's actually really hard.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
It's cool to watch.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
The winners are supposed to take the losers out for
a round of drinks, even at the Olympics. That's part
of the culture and the history of it, and it's
been around for over five hundred years.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
And that's that's what you do. You take them out
for drinks.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
You gotta take the losers out for a drink.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
We need to start that with bowling and pool and
darts and everything else to drink while we do it. Probably.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Thousand Island dressing is named after the Thousand Islands region
in the Saint Lawrence River that's between the US and Canada.
And it was created by a fisherman's wife. So she
came up with the idea while he fished in the river,
and she said, we need something to eat with this fish.
So she came up a thousand miles.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Why and I got to I wish I had that recipe. Now,
everybody I think has a thousand island you can, you know,
recipe in their mind that you can mix up at home.
Do you ever do it?

Speaker 6 (06:52):
It isn't it like Mayo and Italian dressing or something
catch up?

Speaker 4 (06:55):
So I could three. I think it may be Mayo,
ketchup and must I don't know. I don't wait about
to look into it. Yeah, I love it. I love it.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
A horse can have more than one horse power. Do
you know how much a horsepower is? It's a unit
of measurement, basically to compare the output of steam engines
with the power of draft horses. So it's basically how
far a horse can lift five hundred and fifty pounds
by one foot per second? Oh god, so that's one
horse power equals seven hundred and forty five point seven watts.

(07:26):
But there are horses that are stronger than that. So
one horse, actually, the record could actually produce amounts up
to twenty four horse power. Twenty four One horse could
have more than one horse power.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Oh horse is a horse of course? Corse? Grow a
horse all right? Up to number one? Go ahead?

Speaker 6 (07:41):
What during the hot summer your nails grow faster.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
I wonder why that is.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
It's a weird fact about the human body because the
increased blood flow to our fingertips helps produce more growth.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
And oh, all right, well that makes sense. It makes sense.
I'm always learning. Test is five ragnum facts on WPA.
We were coming back after this and nine one and five.
That's you three times today to win your way to
the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Grab that keyword and text it in and that's the
whole trip, the music festival, your airfare of the hotel
and a thousand dollars cash.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
It's free money, honey plus Vegas and Shaboozie's got.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
To be their key Urban Thomas Rhett, Oh, the Black Crows,
Gwen Stefani. It's a huge line. Have they even just
added more? Over the weekend? Chris Martin the.

Speaker 8 (08:24):
Weekend nine one and five, Three times today, Doctor Shannon
Test coming back on WPAP, Doctor Shada Test in the
morning online at nine two five WPAP dot com This
weekend Test the Boys, her husband Brett, You guys did
the shipwreck thing. We did the shipwreck and nobody got
nobody got burned.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
I'm so glad you did not get blistered.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Yeah, no, we got some nice son. But we always
do a really good job of keeping the sunscreen on
the kids. So yeah, we were at the yacht club
pool on Saturday and then we did the shipwreck on Sunday.
We're trying to soak it in, you know, because the
days are going to start getting cooler, and we.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Just noticed that gues today it was getting not just cooler,
but it was getting humid, dark earlier. I mean already,
that's right.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
The sunsets are like hitting right before seven o'clock, which
is nice. And it was a good morning to get
out and new yard work. Saturday night, it was.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
It was a great weekend. Not for FSU, but it
was a great weekend. My heart goes out to the Seminoles,
it really does. Darryl Johnson, our general manager, came in
just a few minutes ago and he's just deflated.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
Still heated.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Yeah, it just deflated.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
He went by. He went like he was a roller
coaster of emotions. He was sad at first, and then
he started talking about it. He's started getting angry.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Man, he got man, got man. I mean, but look,
we had a chance to see it overseas. They did
a good job, but there was no defense. No defense.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Yeah, the defense needed to needed to step it up
a little more. But I'm not a football expert. I
just play fantasy.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
And you know, I understand you got mediocre. Mediocre. That's
going as well. Harry comes down the hallway, y'all, and
it is not a big voice. Guy with not headline
news this morning, taken away, fal go ahead.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
This is not headline news. Today is National toilet paper Day.
I'll be celebrating the same place I do every year,
the Chipotle bathroom.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Hey thanks.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
The VMA's will be hosted by Megan d.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Stallion.

Speaker 7 (10:12):
Too bad, It's the year twenty twenty four, and when
it comes to MTV, nobody gives the crap. Justin and
Haley Beaver have a brand new baby boy, and the
baby was born with a thicker mustache than his dad. Yeah,
and a Connecticut woman has tattoos covering ninety nine point
ninety eight percent of her body and it's still not

(10:33):
as desperate of a cry for attention as the guy
with a parrot. This is not headline news.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Appreciated times. We got you back eight five o WPAP,
We're coming back. Honky Talk one time, Homy, Tommy stand
a line, well home to stay in old line, get

(11:02):
my rest time.

Speaker 7 (11:06):
Running around some Scottie with your sausage, some tim with
your toast.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Doctor Shane and Tess in the Morning on ninety two
five w p AP Nunty two five w P a
p Welcome back to the Doctor Shannon Test Show. Today
is National Toilet Paper Desk. Yeah show. Do you have
a favorite brand? Are you picky about your TP?

Speaker 6 (11:36):
I mean not particularly as long as I can't see
through it is my only stipulation there. Okay, that's really
where I draw the line.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
No cheat, no cheating striking paper through it, and we're
gonna have problems with friend. No cheap striking paper. Let's
go to the phone. Seven six nine Fourteenred. Have you
ever been in a position where you could not find
any TP? How much do you love and appreciate toilet
paper brought to you like Parker Septic by the way,
good morning, Good morning Mike and Parker Septick, everybody one

(12:04):
of our official sponsors on the show. Pap. Tell me
how old you were and when did you run out
of toilet paper? What happened? Oh?

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Okay, I was like fifteen or sixteen, and I was
on a family trip with my parents and my mom
and dad, you know, so everybody, you know, my mom,
my dad, my sister, and we went to some like Burger.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
King or something like that.

Speaker 9 (12:24):
And I have really bat some ushoes.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
So I'm like, hey, I'm going to run to the
bathroom before we go, right, So they all went out
to the car and I ran to the restroom. I'm
sitting there in the restroom, I said, Burger King, not
knowing what to do. And because I sit down and
there's no toilet papers.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
So I tried calling my mom, she didn't answer. Tried
calling my dad, he didn't answer.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Oh bless you.

Speaker 9 (12:48):
Tried calling my sister because I had a cell phone,
you know, they didn't answer whatsoever.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
So I knew where I was at.

Speaker 9 (12:56):
I googled it.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
I literally am googling this this Burger Quane's location in
the bathroom, trying to find the phone number. So I
called them and I say, hey, Uber, I'm in your bathroom.

Speaker 9 (13:08):
In the women's bathroom with no toilet paperboy toilet paper, yes,
ah yeah, sure, sure. I can hear them so hard
trying not to laugh.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Girl girl Napkins napkins from the counter, anything that is brilliant, brilliant.
It's ninety two to five wp AP Happy National Toilet Paper.

Speaker 6 (13:34):
The Kardashians say, there's this headline that I read and
I don't keep up with the Kardashians. They have black
toilet paper. What the Kardashians do. It's like, it's this
brand called Renova, but they make different colored toilet papers,
so you can get blue or pink.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Or wooden, like stay in your bottom?

Speaker 6 (13:51):
Then I don't think it will stay in your bottom.
But how do you know if you're clean? Oh, it's true,
but it will cost you like a six pack. Apparently
of this, like really fancy colored toilet paper will come
like eighteen bucks for a six pack.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
There's a reason it's white. There's a reason that way
you can see what's going on.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
I'm just telling you can see if it's stuck to you.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
I'm stick on TP, cause TP stuck on me. All right,
tell me we're not a show. We got this going
this morning. I know, double EPAP going to the pall.
So all right, So where's the most embarrassing place you
ever ran out of toilet paper? National Toilet Paper Day
brought to you by Parker Sceptic. Good morning, Parker Sceptick
on two thirty one Mic and the crew. You're live, Hey,

(14:31):
good morning.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
All right.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
So this is years ago when I was in the military.
We were in the air and I had to go
to the bathroom. And I mean ever been on military airplanes,
but they they're not like commercial airplanes. They just have
the blue water sitting a tank for below the toilet,
right and there's a little flat keep it, just keep
it from there. Well, I had to go really bad.

(14:51):
The flap was broke. Oh well we hit turbulence.

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Oh my god, I go throw, I.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Come, I come out of the bathroom. My whole undercaracter
is like a Bluesmurf.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Undercarriage. I love it. From the Perry and Young Attorneys
at Law Traffic Center, you are time. Saber traffic on
ninety two five will.

Speaker 10 (15:21):
PAP traffic is stacked up on the Tyndall Parkway southbound
between the bridgehand Saber Drive, plus we're seeing southbound delays
on two thirty one Asia Approach, Transmitter Road and Northeast Avenue.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Welcome back, doctor Shane to test in the morning. We
have the three to put on your right now. Doctor
shanean Test present three things you need to know on
this is Cool.

Speaker 6 (15:44):
The world's first lung cancer vaccine trial is underway in
seven countries, including the US. The others are the UK,
gur Mini, Hungary, Poland, Spain and Turkey. There are thirty
four testing sites. It's a phase one clinical trial that
uses an mRNA vaccine similar to the COVID nineteen vaccines.
So they developed it to treat non small self lung cancer,

(16:06):
which is the most common type of lung cancer. Interesting,
if one hundred and thirty four patients are enrolled in
the trial receiving the vaccine alongside immunotherapy. So if it works, man,
that's a great step.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
The game changer could be a game changer.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
I'll watch that the Jersey babe Ruth Woar from his
famous called shot moment. Remember the nineteen thirty two World Series.
They auctioned it off. They put it up for auction
for eighteen million. Guess how much it went for gracious,
guess how.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Much it went for eighteen million. I'm going to say
it went for twenty one million.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
Twenty four point twelve million dollars. Heritage Auctions calls it
the most expensive sports collectible.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Ever, that's wild.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
The buyer has chosen to remain anonymous.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Of course, of course. Twenty four mil. Wow, that's big
news today.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
And be careful if you bought any Apple juice at Walmart,
they have issued a recall due to high arsenic levels.
That's nothing to joke around with arsenic. It was sold
under the Great Value brand. Walmart is advising consumers to
return the product for a refund. Please be careful.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
Absolutely, wow, I didn't know that. We're online at nine
two five w P a P dot com and your
chance to win your away to Las Vegas three times
today is starting at nine am, then at one, and
then at five three times. To win your way to
Las Vegas, pick up a thousand dollars test. Where are
you working?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Ninety modest so game Jesus, j your mind the credit.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Wake up doctor Sain and test ninety two five w
P a P. Welcome back. It's the new story of
the day. Yeah, we got in for you to make
you smile. Something good in the news today. Tests make
a smile. What we have good stuff.

Speaker 6 (18:07):
Nashville, Tennessee, where a teacher man or teachers always go
above and beyond. We do, but this teacher made a
significant impact by gifting one hundred pairs of Nike Air
Force one sneakers to her students.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Oh wow, it's pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (18:19):
She got support from JD Sports and Finish Line for
the second year in a row. John Early Middle School
teacher Mikaela Nash was able to help students who struggled
with confidence due to their appearance by making sure that
they had new shoes for the school year during her
nonprofit Drip Drive. She says the gesture brought her joy
to her students and it went viral online very quickly,

(18:40):
inspiring many That's awesome. It's pretty cool. They founded a
drip Drive in twenty twenty two and they host a
lot of events over the years where students can select
brand name clothing at no cost thanks to community donations
and partnerships. So she recognized that a lot of her
students' challenges came from not feeling confident in what they
wore that affected their behavior and attendance. So it's pretty cool.

(19:00):
They have a lot of help from local celebrities professional
athletes in Tennessee Titans, and Nash hopes to expand the
initiative both locally and nationally to reach more students.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Resculate stuff, good news story of the day for you
this morning on WPAP. I'm telling you Tennis on top
of it. You got her smile. You gotta smile. Taking
one daily time. We're coming back on WPAP.
