guy in China.

He recently showed up aout the hospital with a bad
cough that wouldn't go away, and he tried cough syrup,

didn't help. He was cough and his eyes were bloodshot.
So they did some scans and found a mass on
his lower right lung. But it wasn't cancer. It turned
out to be a serious fungal infection in his lungs
that he got from sniffing his own dirty socks.

But he was the one that stepped out and said,
you know what, my bad. I've gotten into the habit
of smelling my socks right after work before I toss
them in the laundry. So essentially it sounds like athletes

It's the same fungus that will grow on your foot
now growing inside his lung.

They tested his socks and found out that there was
fungus and a lot of his socks. He will be okay.

In Georgia, dude called nine on one earlier this year
after his wife called him at work saying somebody was
snooping around their house and banging on the doors in
the windows. It was somebody that they knew, so he
didn't want to call the emergency lines, so we tried
to call the non emergency line. Nobody answers he said,
screw it, I'm calling the direct nine one one.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
He calls nine one one.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
The dispatcher is on the phone with him, being very calm,
cool and collected, and asked they were talking, and they
said hold on for a second. Heard them pick up
the other phone and order a mcgriddle for McDonald's for
breakfast during this nine to one one talk.

Oh God, to love a good mccarddle.

He couldn't he couldn't wait.

So the cop eventually did you up to the house
the unwanted visitor had left. The man has since obtained
the audio of the call and is asking the officials
to kind of clean up their act and no longer
order McDonald's the coast bring the guy breakfast.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Good news is they got two mccriddles. Kayla, I know
you're in Canton. Did you hear though? We're actually giving

There was in Austin. I've been waiting all after you
and to share this a wild story.

Yeah, this is kind of nasty. It's a middle aged
guy in China.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
He recently showed up aout the hospital with a bad
cough that wouldn't go away, and he tried cough syrup,
and he tried a whole bunch of things, but it
didn't help. He was cough and his eyes were bloodshot.
So they did some scans and found a mass on
his lower right lung. But it wasn't cancer. It turned
out to be a serious fungal infection in his lungs
that he got from sniffing his own dirty socks.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Wait, why, oh my god, what did they minute?
Speaker 2 (10:01):
But he was the one that stepped out and said,
you know what, my bad. I've gotten into the habit
of smelling my socks right after work before I toss
them in the laundry. So essentially it sounds like athletes
lung instead of athletes athletes foot.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
It's the same fungus that will grow on your foot
now growing inside his lung.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
They tested his socks and found out that there was
fungus and a lot of his socks. He will be okay.
They give him anti fungal meds. But listen to those
out there listening in. When you go home, it doesn't
matter if they smell good, like roses or anything else.
Do not smell your socks after a long day at work.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
He's not gonna be okay if he's a socks miller.
He's definitely going back to it.
Speaker 1 (10:37):

But the one thing he's pumped about is it doesn't
have its receding hairline. You look closely, they made him
one inch taller than most regular Ken dolls as well,
so it's full head of hair and is an inch taller.
