Good morning, colonel, how are you, sir?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Exciting days on four Cavassos. Today we are about to
start loading the first portion of twenty eight M one
A two seven V three tanks that are headed out
for the parade celebrating the US Army's two hundred and
fifty ath birthday in Washington, d C. On the fourteenth
of June. We're doing this calling the most opportune time
(00:45):
to talk about all the great things happening on four
Cavassos three Armor Corps, the US Army, and everything that
the great soldiers are doing. This week. We are loading
twenty eight M one tanks, twenty and two bradleys, twenty
eight M eleven, twenty six strikers, and six M one
O nine. Howldon see how at the will be departing
(01:08):
for Cavassos. I know about the thirtieth of May. You're
going to take about five to six days to get
out to Washington, d C. And I'm telling you there,
I think a lot of soldiers are decided to be
participating in this fantastic opportunity. On Monday, I was able
to speak to a staff sergeant that brought in the
very first thing to the real operations Center and he's like, Sir,
(01:30):
I wish I was going I got to go to
an Army school. I've never been to Washington, DC, and
I would have loved to take my crew at my
king and have a drive down Constitution Avenue celebrating the
Army's two fiftieth birthday. And the other interesting fact. Last week,
on the sixteenth of May, three Armored Corps celebrated one
hundred and seventh birthday. So we were activated one hundred
(01:54):
and seven years ago in France. We fought in France
for proximately one year as a three three Corps back then,
and the Corps received five campaign streamers. They returned a
year later and were inactivated in Sherman, Ohio. We get
(02:14):
the core birthday. We're getting ready to celebrate the Army's
birthday on fourteen June and there are just a lot
of activity happening on the installation.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Monday is Memorial Day. Colonel, Let's talk about the Remembrance
Memorial Boot Display coming up May twenty third through twenty sixth.

Yeah, no, thank you, I appreciate that segue. Yeah, So,
in honor of our falling the hero, the tenth annual
Remembrance Memorial Put Display. It's going to be set up
on Sadowski Field in front of the three Armor Core
headquarters and it will be on display from sunrise to sunset.
So a fantastic event. We get a lot of volunteers,
so overall, more than seventy seven hundred boots will give
(02:55):
a visual testament to the cost of freedom and they
serve as away to honor service members. They recognize the
names and faces of all who have lost their lives
through service to our country since September eleventh, two thousand
and one. But the important thing to remember is this
display is more than the memorial. It is a call
to remember, dot call to honor, and a call to
(03:17):
never forget the true cost of freedom that these service
members gave and that these current service members are entering
as well. So the event is open to the public
and for those who do not have installation access, they
can get a visitor pass online from other computer or
the mobile device by going to pass dot aie dot
(03:38):
Army dot mill. Now once again that is passed dot
aie dot Army dot mill and this will give them
access to for Covassos, they can come look at the
Memorial boot display.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
