Owner Tony Tanner told me how he started out in politics, went to own a butcher shop and now is a restaurant owner as well! This crazy journey of his was inspired by a close friend who passed away from cancer, who you can honor at The Old Spot by ordering "The Earl" from the bar. This restaurant and butcher shop partnership is such a huge success that it's led them to create an Indiegogo Campaign to raise funds to open a large production facility to better prepare the meats for their customers. Meats that are in dishes that Tony will tell you about and make your mouth water and want to stop in for a sausage board or two!
