Yes, We're going to start with the Peak City Pig
Fest on Friday and Saturday in downtown Apex. This is
a fun annual vent draws in the crowds for some
pig picking, beer garden, live music, and a Kansas City
barbecue competition with forty teams facing off.

It's the Peak of good living. That's what it's always
known apparently. Yes, So what else is going on in Raleigh?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Historic Oakwood has their annual Garden Tour on Saturday and Sunday.
This tour, you can visit six hand selected private gardens
on a self guided one to two mile walking tour
and yeah, it's very cool. See behind the scenes.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah, okay, here is a unique event you might want
to get to the nation's only festival dedicated to pimento cheese.
It's happening in downtown Kerry Park on Saturday, You're going
to have unique perment cheese infuse dishes to try, plus performances, activities,
food trucks and beer gardens.

Listen, I love me some permena cheese and you know
who's got the good stuff. So that's a really fun festival.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
More food and beverage. Also in Carrie, the Taco and
Taps Festival is at Coca Booth. It's an all you
can you can eat best tacos and Mexican food, dancing, margaritas, pinata,
punching contests, and many other fun surprises.

get really hyped when you're like, oh, another food fest file.
