Speaker 1 (00:00):
What is the blink and what are you missing?
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hey, it's Judy for Billy and Judy in the Morning,
and welcome to the B and J Replay podcast, where
you will get your google Buster answer and extras including
under sky Vibe report about whether or not it's really
your intuition, that gut feeling, or whether you're second guessing yourself,
and how to know the difference, life hacks, and so
much more.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
It's all on the replay.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Thank you so much for subscribing and making us your
number one preset on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
And Billy and I were on TV, well not yet,
not yet.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
So yeah, yesterday after the show, Judy and I met
up with Tom from KSTK News Channel five and shot
a commercial. We actually saw that. We made three commercials. Yeah,
that will be airing very soon on news Channel five.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Now with the fun if.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
They don't cut us out on the floor like Kevin Coster.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
The funny part of this situation is, so we cut
this commercial. It was kind of promoting our one thousand
dollars pay day. You know, you get a chance to
one one thousand bucks like thirteen times a day. So
we talked about that. We talked about the google Buster.
But what was funny was we shot it in the studio.
I didn't realize because we're always sitting when we're working together,
the height difference.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Okay, come on, every time we take a picture together,
I'm always standing on my toes.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
And so Tom our a photographer, or as they call
him in the business, photog. Tom starts to frantically search
around the radio station to find something, anything that Judy can.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
Stand on to make herself taller.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Instantly, I thought of Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis because
in the movie Top Gun. Rumor has it, he was
constantly standing on things so that she wasn't as taller
or taller than he is.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
See Tom Cruise should have picked me as that person
playing his lover, because I would have been perfect hyps.
But yes, we did find a ream of paper, and
then Tom says, I think we need another one.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, I realized. Also, we left the ring of the
paper in the studio. We should probably put that back.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I think I put it somewhere.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
I don't know how long it's going to take them
in what they call post production to make us look
camera ready and all that sort of stuff.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Funny thing too. So we're in the studio.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
We have like six different television monitors that all have
the Klou logo on them except for one that's broken,
and that's the shot behind us so hard because.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
It was the only one he could use because of thee.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Well, anyway, we're not exactly sure how this whole thing's
going to turn out, but do us a favor and
watch for it on Shuttle five billion. Judy making hour,
I would say television debut, but we both put on
television before.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, and by the way, if we are on the
cutting room floor, just remember Kevin Costner there.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
You see.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
It's the news you need for this Friday, April the eighteenth.
Luigi Mangoni was indicted yesterday on federal murder charges. The
average thirty year mortgage rate has climbed to six point
eight three percent.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
That's not good. The Jets hosting the Blues tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
They open up the first round of their NHL playoffs,
and the Cardinals dropped their first game in New York
one to four.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
But he spills the TA with two D D.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
And this is a not to miss how opening tonight.
I'm doing this just for you Billy Greenwood. Because you
love basketball.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
I do love the basketball playoff season this year. I
can't wait.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay, so tonight, not only is there going to be
a teaser, but a commercial for that teaser. Then they'll
play the commercial during the whole basketball games all weekend.
It's Will Ferrell singing his rendition of Fleetwood Backs, go
your Own Way in a bathtub, and it's all for PayPal.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Hold on a second.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
So you're telling me that two of my favorite worlds
are colliding, Will Ferrell and basketball and PayPal.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
I use PayPal all the time. So yeah, please.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Make sure you check that out. I might even watch
the basketball game for that.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I'll be tuned in all week and long just to
look for it.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
At Friday with us Billy and Judy. And what does
that mean?
Speaker 3 (03:44):
So we revisit conversations that we've had throughout the past week,
and then we try to share talkback messages that you
have left us that maybe we didn't get a chance
to get to during that original conversation. Now here's the problem.
Sometimes when we get talkback messages in regards to in
regards to a conversation we had, I can't figure out
which conversation.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
It was they were talking about, Well, you know, we
do have a daily podcast.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
You could go and listen to us.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
That's one option.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
See if you can figure out what she's talking about.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Really, just so you don't feel bit so's people normally
don't agree with you. Hey, it's not the same situation
you threw away Grandma. I told my kids when I die,
just burden me and threw me out.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
It's not worth it. Don't pay the money.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
What conversation we have that that would make sense with.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
I think it had to do with would you want
to be buried or would you want to be cremated?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
And it's funny because I didn't know what she got
that you.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Lose a lot usually when I will say I think
I know what she's talking about in regards to my
grandma and losing my grandma, because when my grandma passed,
she was cremated and then we each got a little
mini eurn and I moved one time and forgot. I
had it on like a built in bookshelf in the
living room, and they moved and left.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
It there complete. We forgot about it.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
So, oh things we throw out, That's what we were
talking about.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Sorry, Grandma, if you're up there somewhere listening, I.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Still love you.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
But somebody agrees with Billy.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
See, that's what it's all about. Revisiting conversations from the
past week. Judy on this a Flashback Friday.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
And if you ever want to get it in on
any conversation, please download the free iHeartRadio at make our
station your number one preset and the Billion Judy Podcast
number two and leave your talkback message.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yes, I love going to NASA because their website always
tells me things. And the Lyrid meteor shower is on.
It's an annual celestial display. It started already on Wednesday
last year, April twenty fifth, and they said.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
You don't have any special equipment.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
You need to observe the falling light as I'd like
to call it, meteor shower, just clear weather, dark sky
in about thirty minutes from your eyes to adjust to
the dark.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
You know, there are certain times I'd benefit living over
in Edwardsville. I'll be able to see it better than
you just because there's nothing around. It's nice and dark
out here.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I know, what a beautiful display, your meteor shower. And
then yes, we have a new celebration game shows that
we're gonna offer you one hundred dollars gift card for.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
That is correct.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
The game show that we're going to be featuring is
called Tic Tac Dough three in a.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Row and we have it coming up after Bond Job.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
That is also correct.
Speaker 3 (06:19):

There are actually a couple of great new game shows
heading two game show Network Judy.
Speaker 2 (06:26):

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Chance to win one hundred dollars gifts card. Debbie is
gonna play with this?
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Debbie? Where are you calling from?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Sorry, mo fallon, Judy Diamonds. Do you think that Debbie
has what it takes?
Speaker 2 (06:42):
I think little Debbie could play Tic Tac Dough three
in a Row FO one hundred dollars gift card.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yes, NICs, you just get three questions row, Debbie, and
then you're gonna win that gift card. Judy diamond here
we go. Question Numero uno.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Category is Hello Dolly. Question.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Mattel's Barbie Doll appeared a special twenty fourteen edition of
what magazine wearing a swimsuit. Was it a GQ, B,
Playboy or C Sports Illustrated.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Oh no, well there's one this kind of infamous that's
sort of known for their swimsuit edition.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Exactly, yeah, Sports Illustration.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Sports Illustrated, says DeBie.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yep, correct, amundo.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
That's number one. With the little help, here comes number two.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Category, push the envelope.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Here's the question.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Brownish yellow business envelopes are called Manila because they used
paper made. Where is it a Brazil, be Panama or
c the Philippines.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
I feel like you.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I feel like you accentuated one of those answers I
kind of did. Yeah, so give us give us the
options again.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah, okay, so the Manila envelope, Brazil, Panama or the Philippines.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
The Philippines, the Philippines.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Yes, that is absolutely correct. That's two for two. We
just need one more.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
The category Little Debbie is over a barrel and the
question has to do with barrel making. What name is
also the job title for professional barrel maker?
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Is it a Mason B. Cooper or C.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Chandler Cooper?
Speaker 3 (08:22):
She says, thatsolutely, I'm sorry, ridiculous, Yes I will promise
you one thing when you watch Tic Tac Dough on
Game Show Network.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
It will not be that easy.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
No, but congratulations and remember to watch Tic Tac Dough
followed by Bingo Blitz we'd starting at six pm Central
on Game Show Network.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Nice job, Debbie.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
So allergists from the CDC and beyond.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
There are natural remedies they say.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
That help us suffer from allergies. No, not essential oils,
not honey, not vitamins. They say, none of those work.
What works, Billy? You know this Closing the windows both
at home and the car, as well as using h
EPA air filters with the ACA, changing and showering before bed, yes, huge,
wearing an N ninety five mask and using a humidifire ge.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
The mask thing.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
I don't know about all that, but if there's one
thing I do not skimp on, it is my filters
in my home.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Get the best thing you can get.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, very important. They said this the number one thing
Nelly and.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Judy in the morning.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
This again is where we revisit conversations from the past
week and then share your talkback messages that perhaps we
didn't get a chance to get to earlier in the
week during that conversation, because Judy is so awesome to
see so many people hitting that talkback button and leaving
us so many.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Messages, and we always say you are the show.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
I mean, yeah, it says Billy and Judy, but it's
also Billy, Judy and you, And a lot of times
Billy will listen and put it together. Sometimes I do.
I have no idea what the stext one is.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Well, I can tell you I got taken to task
for a comment that I made on the show. Just
a few days ago. I did some traveling with my
wife and the boys. Uh huh, and I saw at
the air hall the wheelchair right. I was frustrated because
we flew southwest. It seems to me, you know, the
(10:15):
old days, it was always that people would use their
kids to preboard, so that it could be because it's
a cattle call otherwise.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yeah, And so what I've noticed it now is that
it's the old folks who.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
All seem to need a wheelchair to get on the
plane so that they can preboard, But then like half
of them don't need the wheelchair to get off the plane.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
And I was very upset with you saying old folks
because there are people that are every age that do
need wheelchairs.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
And so we got this talk back message.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Hey, good morning Billy and Judy. Welcome back to Billy.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
I'm a nurse and I was a little bothered by
your comment about the elderly faking it to get.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
In a wheelchair. Just because somebody can.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Walk physically does not mean they don't require wheelchair for
long distances, such as people could gestive heartfilure, COPD or
just elderly that have weakness.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Thanks, and I completely agree with that. I'm not talking
about them. I'm merely talking about the old people that
are faking it.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
You could just say all people, because I see a
lot of people that look under.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Old age that are faking it.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Well, anyway, Julie Judy apologizes for that comment that she
made this week.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
We could not say that comment.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Friday continues with more of your messages. Will relive some
other conversations from the past week. First, Judy, we've got
to get to this question so difficult you can't even
google the answer.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Oh, I know people are waiting for it. It's a
Google Bodo difficult. You should be able to google the answer.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Well, we're going to see if that's true.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
This is your google buster question, the chance to win
absolutely nothing but bragging rights, Judy. Thirty percent of us
admit we have done this at work?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
We kiss? He kissied with a coworker?
Speaker 4 (11:57):
What was his name? Who was it?
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Big Mike? Who tell me who?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
What was? No? No, I'm not telling you.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Wow, I know it wasn't. Tony. You've got better taste
than that.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Who says it was? What I worked with you?
Speaker 4 (12:08):
Oh? That's fair, that's true.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
That's also in Correctdamundo, Judy, Diamond one more time. Thirty
percent of us you got me thrown now, thirty percent
of us we have done this at work?
Speaker 4 (12:20):
But what is this?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Have you ever heard of what the blink is? Maybe
you read this book that my co host on the
podcast talks about professional astrologer Thomas Miller.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
It's just a little taste of it. I have this battle,
and I know I'm not alone. Is it my intuition?
Speaker 7 (12:37):
Really, Judy, It's the number one question I get when
we start talking about intuition. Malcolm Gladwell wrote a classic
called Blink, and the blink is the very first impulse
you get when something crosses your path. He starts out
with a story of a museum that wanted to acquire
this beautiful painting. All these PhDs on the acquisition committee
(12:58):
were absolutely certain that it was an original except one.
This one felt from the very beginning he heard about
it that something was off, and sure enough it was
a fake.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
So here's the way it works.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
So we are generally always in tune with that intuition
that's within us. I'm going to say it it's God
within us, source within us, higher power, universe, whatever however
you attribute it, but it is that connection with our
creator that is always on switch. Now I do think
we can do things to dampen it loud noise, you know,
(13:33):
like being in a busy airport. You're not going to
be tuned in like you are if you're sitting out
in the woods under a tree. So the calmer we
can keep ourselves, the closer it gets. But when something
hits you, the very first impulse you have, that's the
connection with God. And then what we as humans do,
We start processing it in our head. And Malcolm Gladwell
(13:56):
goes to great length to say that when we do,
the blink is over. So that's how you tell it's intuition.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Ah, so now you know you got to listen to
the blink and how if you listen to the whole
podcast sky Vibe Show with me, Judy Diamond and Thomas Miller,
and you will learn a technique that is really easy
on how to listen to the blink.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
And that is your Skyvibe.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Reporter trying to get an answer to this morning's google
Buster question. Yes, Judy, full buster question. This has been
an interesting one this morning. Oh, by the way, we
are Billy and Judy in the morning. So here's the
question again, Judy. Thirty percent of us admit we have
done this at work.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
What is this?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
And I already said kissy kissy with a coworker, and
Billy is now driving himself crazy wanting to.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Know who you can figure that one out? For the
life of me, everyone hears so homely. So it's not
that that is incorrect, Amanda. I will tell you I
have been guilty.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Of this in the past.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Been a long time since I've done something like this,
because as I've gotten older, I realized it's really not
a nice thing to do.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Oh you ate somebody else's food or the fridge.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Oh good lord, No, I do that all the time.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Well still, who took my sandwich?
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Uh, that also would be incorrect, Amundo. This is why
you should be very aware of things that you have
with you at work.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
You've taken things of other.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
People, but you would have to do this to take
something from someone else. I don't know how would you
find it?
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Oh, your past their passwords.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
That's right, Judy, you're going through your coworker's desk, Absolutely correct, Amundo.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
You don't want to go through my stuff. It's a mess.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Stay out of Judy's stores.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Thirty percent of us, that's kind of crazy to think
thirty percent.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
We've lost it all.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Thirty percent of us have looked through a co worker's desk.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Do not do that.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Buster, Billy and Judy in the Morning, PERUSA your messages.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
I love this.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Yeah, so from conversation that we've had within the past week,
those talkback messages we didn't get a chance to get
to during that initial conversation we're sharing on the show today.
But keep in mind also while it is the flashback Friday,
we also love to hear from you currently. So if
maybe there's something you're looking forward to this weekend, something
you are celebrating, or just something you want to hear
on the show this morning.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
You could always do that as well, Judy.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah, we would.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Love to hear from you. There's several ways to do.
You could leave a message on our Facebook page. There's
a call now button there, and there's also the free
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Let's see if we can figure out which conversation this
talkback message was left in regards to Billy.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
Judy, I just wanted to let you know my husband
passed away in twenty seventeen. I had been learning about
how I was going to make it. He came to
me a dream and hugged me and told me everything
was just going to be fine.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Thank you by Oh with dreams.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
What we talked about dreams And one of the things
I remember this because I had had a dream about
my mom who passed and my sister who passed, and
to talk about dreams, and do you think that people
could busit you from dreams?
Speaker 3 (17:07):
I think that her husband came back as a cat.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Let's say one more time.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
Billy Judy, I just wanted to let you know my
husband passed away in twenty seventeen. I had been worrying
about how I was gonna make it. He came to
me a dream and hugged me and told me everything
was just gonna be fine.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Thank you. By the cat in the background, that was
what it was.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Somebody's gonna call leave a message yelling me for saying that.
Now I know how this works.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Perhaps this all happened because she's going to win one
thousand dollars in thous.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Okay day, there you go.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
I like the way you've switched that around, which, by
the way, is coming up at nine on this A
Flashback Friday with Us Billy and Judy in the morning
